사슴의 혈액 및 혈액화학치에 관한 연구 (Blood and Serum Chemical Values on Deer Bred in Taegu Dalseung Park)

  • The study was conducted to determine normal blood and serum chemical values on deer. Normal blood and serum chemical values were studied in 8 healthy deers bred at Dalseung Park in Taegu. The values were analyzed with a blood chemical analyzer and calculated by Chawen's statistical analysis. The blood values of RBC, WBC and PCV were $9.73{\pm}1.19{\times} 10^{6}/{\mu}l, 3.37{\pm}0.88{\times}10^{3}/{\mu}l, 47.25{\pm}4.65 % respectively. The serum chemical value were: GOT; 83.0{\pm}39.4 IU/L, GPT; 50.12{\pm}25.83 IU/L, BUN; 36.63{\pm}8.70 mg/dl. CPK ; 1,296{\pm}495 IU/L, ALP; 238{\pm}54 IU/L, glucose; 143{\pm}52 mg/dl, total protein; 6.95{\pm}0.61 g/dl, amylase ; 116.0{\pm}34.5 IU/L,$ respectively. These values will be clinically helpful to diagnose the disease of deer.

국내 사육 Elk(Cervus canadensis)의 혈액학치와 혈액화학치 (Hematological and Blood Chemical Values for Elks Raised in Korea)

  • Present experiments were undertaken in order to determine the normal hematological and blood chemical values of elks raised in Korea. Blood samples were collected from 22 healthy adult (5~10 years old) male elks raised in Kyung-pook prefecture and examined for 9 hematological and 15 blood chemical parameters using automatic blood cell counter and automatic blood chemical analyzer. The mean hematological values were determined as PCV : 34.23%, RBC count : $6.70{\times}10^{6}/{\mu}l, Hb : 12.15g/61, WBC count : 3.17{\times}10^{3}/{\mu}l$, neutrophil : 54.09%, eosinophil : 12.27%, Iymphocyte : 28.86%, monocyte : 5.23%, and platelet : $39.94$\times$10^{5}/{\mu}l$

개심술시 체외순환에 의한 혈청 POTASSIUM 변동에 관한 연구 (A Clinical Study of Changes in Serum Potassium Ion Concentration Before and After Extracorporeal Circulation with Heart-Lung Machine)

  • Since the open heart surgery was performed, various kinds of problem concerning the extracorporeal circulation[EGG] have been known. The author investigated the changes of serum potassium ion before and after ECC among the 102 patients including 63 adults and 39 children who underwent open heart surgery from April 19S6 to February 1990 in Chung-Ang University Hospital. The mean values of potassium ion before and after ECC were analyzed according to the influencing factors such as priming solution, aortic cross clamping time, the underlying disease, the type of oxygenator and the amount of cardioplegic solution. The results were as follows: l. In the aspect of congenital and acquired heart disease groups, the mean values of serum potassium ion[Mean\ulcornerS.D.] before and after ECC revealed a significant change only in the acquired heart disease group[congenital; 3.87$\pm$0.48mEq /L vs. 4.05$\pm$0.73mEq /L, P>0.05, acquired: 4.40 $\pm$0.98mEq /L vs. 4.11$\pm$0.52mEq /L, P<0.05]. Between the two groups, the changes of the mean values of serum potassium ion before and after ECC were significant[P<0.05]. But all values were within normal limits. 2. In the aspect of the aortic cross clamping time[ACCT], in the groups of less or more than 120 minutes, the mean values of serum potassium ion before and after ECC revealed no significant change[less than 120 min; 3.97+-0.64mEq /L vs. 3.99+0.67mEq /L, P>0.05, more than 120 min; 4.34+0.82mEq /L vs. 4.27+0.62mEq /L, P>0.05], and The changes of mean values of serum potassium ion between the two groups were not significant[P>0.05]. 3. In both membrane and bubble oxygenator groups, the mean values of serum potassium ion before and after ECC did not reveal a significant difference respectively [membrane; 4.74 +1.40mEq /L vs. 4.28+0.3lmEq /L, P>0.05, bubble; 4.02 +0.60mEq /L vs. 4.05 L0.68mEq/L, P>0.05], and no differences between the membrane and bubble oxygenator groups[P >0.05]. 4. In the groups of membrane and bubble oxygenator in the cases of ACCT more than 120 minutes, the mean values of serum potassium ion before and after ECC did not reveal a significant difference respectively[membrane; 4.36$\pm$0.85mEq /L vs. 4.37$\pm$0.26mEq /L, P>0.05, bubble; 4.30 $\pm$0.80mEq/L vs. 4.23$\pm$0.67mEq/L, P>0.05], and no differences between the two groups[P>0.05]. 5. In spite of increased amount of cold potassium cardioplegic solution, the mean values of serum potassium ion before ECC were similar to those of serum potassium ion after ECC[less than 20ml /kg

Colorimetric Values of Various Myoglobin Derivatives in Pork and Beef Ribeye

  • Various myoglobin derivatives were manufactured in pork and beef ribeye in the laboratory and their colorimetric values were measured with a chromameter. The average values of L* and a* of pork pigments were higher and b* values were lower than those of beef pigments. Oxymyoglobin (bright red) is considered to be a desirable fresh red meat pigment for consumer acceptance. The means of L*, a* and b* values of oxymyoglobin were 36.41, 27.32 and 4.71 for pork and 30.54, 25.58 and 9.81 for beef, respectively. Nitrosyl hemochrome, the pigment of processed meat products like sausages and hams had L*, a* and b* values of 47.93, 26.85 and 6.63 for pork and 41.82, 23.19 and 11.82 for beef. It was found that as a discoloration developed in meat and the meat color turned to brown, the L*, b* values increased and the a* value decreased.

편광 투과율을 이용한 대비 민감도(Cs) 특성 연구 (Study of Contrast Sensitivities using Polarizer-Transmittance)

  • 대비 민감도를 측정할 대비 휘도는 두 편광 판의 회전과 spectrophotometer로 측정한 가시광 영역의 투과율 면적(T%nm)을 이용하였다. 2개의 contrast 값으로부터 contrast sensitivity(Cs) 계산은 평균 contrast, $L_{max}$${\theta}_{max}$ 값을 일정하게 한 후 $L_{min}$ ${\theta}_{min}$값을 계산하여 얻었다. 실험결과 $L_{max}=4000(T%nm)$, ${\theta}_{max}=44.1^{\circ}$로 고정시키고, Cs값이 2.5 및 100에서 $L_{min}$값은 각각 1333, 2666 및 3920(T%nm)이고, ${\theta}_{min}$값은 각각 56.6, 54.3 및 $45^{\circ}$이다.

  • In this article, we present characterizations of the power distribution via the identical hazard rate of lower record values that $X_n$ has the power distribution if and only if for some fixed n, $n{\geq}1$, the hazard rate $h_W$ of $W=X_{L(n+1)}/X_{L(n)}$ is the same as the hazard rate h of $X_n$ or the hazard rate $h_V$ of $V=X_{L(n+2)}/X_{L(n+1)}$.

표고버섯 분말을 첨가한 Sponge Cake의 품질 특성 (Quality Characteristics of Sponge Cake Prepared with Lentinus edodes Powder)

  • 본 연구에서는 기능성 식품 소재로서 이용가치가 높은 표고버섯 분말을 스폰지 케이크 제조에 이용하기 위하여 표고버섯 분말을 3, 6, 9, 12%로 첨가한 스폰지 케이크를 제조하여 품질 특성을 파악하고 최적 제품을 생산하고자 하였다. 표고버섯 분말을 첨가한 스폰지 케이크 반죽의 점도, 비중, 수분 함량은 대조군과 표고버섯 분말 첨가군 들 간에는 유의적인 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 표고버섯 분말을 첨가한 스폰지 케이크의 부피 지수는 대조군이 13.75로 가장 낮은 값을 나타냈으며, 표고버섯 분말 3~6% 첨가군에서는 높은 값으로 증가하다가 9~12% 첨가군에서는 감소하는 경향을 보였으나, 표고버섯 분말 첨가군이 대조군보다는 높은 값을 나타내었다. 무게는 대조군과 12%첨가군이 유사한 값을 보였으며, 표고버섯 분말 3% 첨가군에서 가장 높은 값을 나타내었다. Crust 색도 L, a, b는 모두 대조군에 비해 표고버섯 분말 첨가군에서 값이 낮게 나타났고, Crumb 색도 L은 대조군에서 가장 높은 값을 나타내었으며, 표고버섯 분말 첨가량이 증가할수록 낮은 값을 나타내었다. a는 대조군이 가장 높은 값을 나타냈으며, 표고버섯 분말 첨가량이 증가할수록 낮은 값을 나타내었다. b는 대조군과 3% 첨가군간에 유의적인 차이가 있었으며, 6~12% 첨가군 간에는 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 표고버섯 분말을 첨가한 스폰지 케이크의 견고성(hardness)은 대조군과 표고버섯 분말 3% 첨가군에서는 차이가 없었으나, 6% 이상 첨가군에서는 대조군보다 낮은 값을 나타내었다. 파쇄성(fracturability)은 대조군과 표고버섯 분말 3% 첨가군 간에는 유의적인 차이가 없었으나 6% 이상 첨가군에서는 대조군보다 낮은 값을 나타내었다. 부착성(adhesiveness)은 대조군과 표고버섯 분말 첨가군들이 유사한 값을 나타냈으며, 씹힘성(chewiness)은 표고버섯 분말 3% 첨가군에서 가장 높은 값을 나타냈다. 복원성(resilience)은 대조군이 가장 낮은 값을 나타냈으며, 표고버섯 분말 첨가군에서는 유의적인 차이를 나타내었다. 관능검사의 색(color), 향미(flavor), 부드러운 정도(softness), 전체적인 기호도(overall acceptability)는 대조군이 가장 높은 값을 나타내었고, 표고버섯 분말 첨가량이 증가할수록 낮은 값을 나타내었다. 표고버섯 향(Lentinus edodesflavor), 구수한 맛(pleasant taste), 부적합한 향미(off-flavor)는 대조군이 가장 낮은 값을 나타내었고, 표고버섯 분말 첨가량이 증가할수록 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 계란향(egg-flavor), 촉촉함(moistness)은 대조군이 가장 높은 값을 나타내었고, 표고버섯 분말 첨가량이 증가할수록 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 이상의 결과를 종합해 보면 대조군이 기호도 검사에서 가장 높은 점수를 나타내었고, 표고버섯 분말 첨가량이 증가할수록 낮은 점수를 나타내긴 하였지만, 전체적인 품질 특성의 결과를 고려할 때 표고버섯 분말의 3% 첨가가 최적의 배합비로 사료된다.

  • We prove a characterization of the power function distribution by lower record values. We prove that $F(x)=(\frac{x}{a})^{\alpha}$ for all $x$, 0 < $x$ < $a$, ${\alpha}$ > 0 and $a$ > 0 if and only if $\frac{X_{L(n)}}{X_{L(m)}}$ and $X_{L(m)}$ are independent for $1{\leq}m$ < $n$.

전류운송기를 이용한 비접지 L과 FDNR의 새로운 실현 회로 (New Ralization Circuits of Floating L and FDNR by Using Current Conveyors)

  • Using two current conveyors with the grounded capacitors and resistors, this paper proposed equivalent circuits which can realize the floating L and the floating FDNR. To find out their characteristics, we experiment with these circuits instead of the floating L of the low-pass filter and the floating FDNR of the high-pass filter respectively. Comparing theoretical values with experimental ones, values of the proposed floating L represent the error of 5 percents in the frequency range from 5 KHz to 25 KHz, and values of the floating FDNR represent the error of 5 percents in the range from 8 KHz to 25 KHz. So the proposed floating L and the FDNR circuits are expected to be implemented with current conveyors of an IC.
