플라즈마 전해산화 공정에 있어서 전해액 내 실리콘 이온이 표면특성에 미치는 영향

  • 플라즈마 전해산화(Plasma Electrolytic Oxidation)란 저 농도의 알칼리 전해액을 매개로, 고전압을 가해 미세 플라즈마 방전을 유도하여 Al, Mg, Ti 등의 금속표면을 산화시켜 고내식성, 초경합금 수준의 내마모성, 탁월한 절연성과 고경도성을 가지는 산화막을 형성시키는 기술로 전자, 자동차, 의료, 섬유, 해양, 석유화학 산업에 이르기까지 광범위한 분야에 적용되어 우수한 물성을 확보할 수 있는 차세대의 표면처리 기술이다. 본 연구에서는 6061 알루미늄 합금을 이용하여 다양한 전해액 조건에서 플라즈마 전해산화 공정으로 Al2O3 산화막을 형성시켰다. 산화막의 조성 및 미세구조는 XRD와 FE-SEM, EDS를 이용하여 분석하였다. 형성된 산화막은 회색에서 밝은 회색으로 시편 전면에 고르게 나타났다. 전해액 조성을 바꾸어줌에 따라 각기 다른 표면 특성을 가지는 산화막을 얻을 수 있었고, 그에 따른 물성 변화를 분석하였다. 특히 Si 이온 농도를 조절함으로써 피막 성장인자와 표면 미세구조를 제어할 수 있었다.

Changes of Endoplasmic Reticulum of Rat Intestinal Epithelium Induced by Ethionine Feeding (Ethionine 투여로 인한 소장흡수상피세포의 소포체변화)

  • The author studied ed the effect of ethionine upon the absorption epithelium of ileum with particular ettention to the endoplasmic reticulum. Five tenth per cent of DL-ethionine was added to the diet of the experimental group rats and they were sacrificed after 1, 2, 3, and 4 weeks. respectively. The ileum were observed by the electron microscope. The results obtained were summarized as follow: The changes were detachment of membrane bound ribosome, dilatation of endoplasmic reticulum, decrease of polysome with reciprocal increase of monosome, and dilatation of Golgi complex. These changes were occured at 2 nd to 3 rd week from start of ethionine feeding and more severe at fouth week. These observation suggested that ethionine induced degenerative changes of the organelles.

  • The cloned glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAP) gene of Saccharomyces cereviszae (Holland et al., 1983) has been characterized. Based on the communication, we have also cloned 2.1 kb CAP DNA fragment and modified this fragment as a portable promoter. Two yeast expression vectors, one is YCp type vector being maintained at low copy number (1 or 2) and the other is YEp type vector at high copy number, have been constructed with the GAP promoter and the PH05' gene as a reporter. Our plasrnids were introduc,ed into S. cerevisiae HY-1, which has been improved. The $Trp^+$ transformants expressed APase activity efficiently and showed high level of PH05' transcripts.

  • We research ed on the noise control of a head feeding type combine harvester. It is a kind of combine harvester developed in Japan. And at present, it is used by most Japanese farmer. For a head-feeding type combine harvester it is very difficult to determine the sources of noise because it is a combination of reapers and automatic , threshers and several running parts. However we succeeded in finding out the sound sources of combine harvesters and analyzing their sound by the using sound intensity method. The sound intensity Method is a very up-to-date method to measure and analyze Sound Intensity Levels and sound directions at several measuring point sin a specified area. In this research, first a conventional sound level measurement method is used and secondly the sound intensity method. The first method shows a rather great limitation in allowed exposure duration. The second method shows pin-points the engine itself as being the main source of noise, causing sound flows a ross the operator's seat.

  • There exists a clear need to monitor the performance of civil structures over their operational lives. Current commercial monitoring systems suffer from various technological and economic limitations that prevent their widespread adoption. The wires used to route measurements from system sensors to the centralized data server represent one of the greatest limitations since they are physically vulnerable and expensive from an installation and maintenance standpoint. In lieu of cables, the introduction of low-cost wireless communications is proposed. The result is the design of a prototype wireless sensing unit that can serve as the fundamental building block of wireless modular monitoring systems (WiMMS). An additional feature of the wireless sensing unit is the incorporation of computational power in the form of state-of-art microcontrollers. The prototype unit is validated with a series of laboratory and field tests. The Alamosa Canyon Bridge is employed to serve as a full-scale benchmark structure to validate the performance of the wireless sensing unit in the field. A traditional cable-based monitoring system is installed in parallel with the wireless sensing units for performance comparison.

  • Complementing recent advances made in the field of structural health monitoring and damage detection, the concept of a wireless sensing network with distributed computational power is proposed. The fundamental building block of the proposed sensing network is a wireless sensing unit capable of acquiring measurement data, interrogating the data and transmitting the data in real time. The computational core of a prototype wireless sensing unit can potentially be utilized for execution of embedded engineering analyses such as damage detection and system identification. To illustrate the computational capabilities of the proposed wireless sensing unit, the fast Fourier transform and auto-regressive time-series modeling are locally executed by the unit. Fast Fourier transforms and auto-regressive models are two important techniques that have been previously used for the identification of damage in structural systems. Their embedment illustrates the computational capabilities of the prototype wireless sensing unit and suggests strong potential for unit installation in automated structural health monitoring systems.

Property of purple gold with Al contents (퍼플골드의 Al 조성 증가에 따른 물성 변화)

  • 유색 금 합금 중의 하나인 퍼플골드(purple gold)는 특유의 적자색(보라색)이 나는 78wt%Au-22wt%Al의 조성으로 이루어진 금 합금으로 많은 각광을 받고 있다. 본 연구에서는 78wt%Au-22wt%Al(이후 Au1)인 기준 조건보다 Al의 상대조성이 커짐에 따라 보라색과 기계적 물성의 변화를 확인하기 위해 76wt%Au-24wt%Al(이후Au2), 74wt%Au-26wt%Al(이후 Au3), 72wt%Au-28wt%Al(이후 Au4)으로 Al 조성을 22~26%Al까지 변화시키고 이때의 비커스 경도, 광학현미경, EDS, UV-VIS-NIR 색차분석 실험을 실시하였다. 비커스경도 측정결과 Al의 함유량이 증가함에 따라 경도값은 감소하는 경향성을 보였으며, 26wt%Al 이상의 조성에서 Au1 조성에 상응하는 경도 값을 유지할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 광학현미경을 이용한 미세구조 분석결과 Al의 함유량이 증가함에 따라 적자색을 띄는 결정립 $AuAl_2$의 분포는 감소하며, 결정립계에 석출하는 Al-rich 상의 분포와 크기는 증가하는 경향을 확인하였다. EDS를 이용한 성분분석 결과 실제 목표했던 조성과 분석오차를 고려하면 잘 일치함을 확인하였다. UV-VIS-NIR를 이용한 색차 분석결과 Au3 조성까지도 보라색을 유지할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 따라서 비커스경도와 색을 고려하면 기존 19K인 Au1보다 18K의 Au2 조성에서도 퍼플골드 구현이 가능하였다. 이후 Au2 조성으로 블랙홀과 아라크네를 모티브로 하여 실제 주얼리 제품을 성공적으로 제조하였다.

  • ZnO thin film had been deposited on the glass by Evaporation Ramped method. and electrical and resistivity were investigated. Evaporation gas($O_{2}$,) pressure was 10mTorr~100mTorr, chamber pressure was $2{\times}10^{-5}$, and then ZnO film were deposited. AI-doped ZnO thin film had the lowest resistivity ($1{\times}10^{4}\;{\Omega}{\cdot}cm$), and then carrier concentration and Hall mobility were$6.27{\times}10^{20}\;cm^{3}$ and $22.04 cm^{2}/V{\cdot}s$, respectively. When ZnO film had been deposited by Ramp6ed method compared with normal method and investigated resistivity.

전해증착법을 이용한 결정성 ZnTe 나노와이어 성장 및 특성평가

  • 본 연구에서는 전해증착법을 이용하여 결정성 ZnTe 나노와이어를 성장시켰고, 구조적 및 전기적 특성을 평가하였다. 또한 나노와이어 성장에 앞서, 결정성 ZnTe 박막을 전해증착법으로 형성하였고, 그 박막의 특성을 관찰하였다. 화학양론적(stoichiometric) 조성을 가지는 박막을 성장시키기 위하여, 순환전류전압법(cyclicvoltammetry)을 이용하여 Zn, Te, 이온들과 구연산 착화체(citrate-complexes)로 구성된 수용액 전해질에서 각 원소의 환원전위 분석이 이루어졌고, 과전압(overpotential)과 전해질 온도와 농도등과 같은 전해증착 조건에 따라 박막을 증착하였다. 각 조건에서 전해증착된 박막은 주사전자현미경(SEM)과 EDS를 이용하여 표면과 두께 그리고 성분분석을 하였고, XRD 분석법을 이용하여 박막의 결정성 변화를 관찰하였다. 박막증착 실험에서의 알맞은 증착조건을 나노와이어 전해증착실험에 적용하여, 다공성의 양극산화알루미늄(Anodic Aluminium Oxide, AAO) 템플레이트를 이용하여 bottom-up 방식으로 결정성 ZnTe 나노와이어를 성장시켰다. 수산화 나트륨(NaOH)용액을 이용하여 템플레이트를 선택적으로 에칭하여 제거한 후, ZnTe 나노와이어의 구조적 및 전기적 특성을 분석하였다.

  • This study was carried out to investigate the distribution and penetration of PEG molecules into the cell wall of wood by SEM-EDS method. SEM observation indicated that the cell walls of PEG-treated specimen were swollen, and didn't show any change in their shapes, while the cells of untreated specimen were more or less collapsed. The results of X-ray analyses of potassium stained samples revealed the distribution of the impregnated chemicals within the cell walls, when considering the distribution of potassium ions in the cell walls. Consequently, this study supported the possibility of PEG molecules penetrated into the wood cell wall play an important role in enhancing the dimensional stability of wood.
