  • In this paper, new concept, low noise axial fan was developed. The fan was designed to operate at high-pressure condition inside the refrigerator. This fan - we call it Alpha fan - has small turbo blades at trailing edge of axial fan. These turbo blades make alpha fan operate at high pressure and low noise condition. In order to find out the optimal value of design parameters, 6-sigma method was used. The design parameters are ratio between inner and outer diameter, Height, Install angle and Install position of turbo blade. Optimal value of turbo blade was found out and the noise generated from this fan is reduced about 3dB(A).

  • A high performance and low noise refrigerator fan has been developed in order to satisfy the customer's high quality needs, that is, luxury, big size and low noise. In this study, the characteristics of a new developed fan and a current fan was calculated and compared by using numerical simulation. Rotation of a fan makes cold air circulation inside a refrigerator. A numerical simulation of air flow shows distribution and local flow regime of a cold air flow circulation, and revealed a cause of low noise as well. Optimization of a duct shape also decreased noise level.

  • In this paper, we introduce two classes of generalized variational-like inequalities with compositely monotone multifunctions in Banach spaces. Using the KKM-Fan lemma and the Nadler's result, we prove the existence of solutions for generalized variational-like inequalities with compositely relaxed ${\eta}-{\alpha}$ monotone multifunctions in reflexive Banach spaces. On the other hand we also derive the solvability of generalized variational-like inequalities with compositely relaxed ${\eta}-{\alpha}$ semimonotone multi functions in arbitrary Banach spaces by virtue of the Kakutani-Fan-Glicksberg fixed-point theorem. The results presented in this paper extend and improve some earlier and recent results in the literature.

  • Recently, Fan and Dai introduced a Shifted Polynomial Basis and construct a non-pipeline bit-parallel multiplier for $F_{2^n}$. As the name implies, the SPB is obtained by multiplying the polynomial basis 1, ${\alpha}$, ${\cdots}$, ${\alpha}^{n-1}$ by ${\alpha}^{-\upsilon}$. Therefore, it is easy to transform the elements PB and SPB representations. After, based on the Modified Shifted Polynomial Basis(MSPB), SPB bit-parallel Mastrovito type I and type II multipliers for all irreducible trinomials are presented. In this paper, we present a bit-parallel architecture to multiply in SPB. This multiplier have a space complexity efficient than all previously presented architecture when n ${\neq}$ 2k. The proposed multiplier has more efficient space complexity than the best-result when 1 ${\leq}$ k ${\leq}$ (n+1)/3. Also, when (n+2)/3 ${\leq}$ k < n/2 the proposed multiplier has more efficient space complexity than the best-result except for some cases.

  • In this paper, we introduce weakly relaxed $\alpha$-pseudomonotonicity and weakly relaxed $\alpha$-semi-pseudomonotonicity of set-valued maps. Using the KKM technique, we obtain existence of solutions to the variational-like inequalities with weakly relaxed $\alpha$-pseudomor.otone set-valued maps in reflexive Banach spaces. We also present the solvability of the variational-like inequalities with weakly relaxed $\alpha$-semi-pseudomonotone set-valued maps in arbitrary Banach spaces using Kakutani-Fan-Glicksberg fixed point theorem.

  • We studied the relations between variables related to fan's preference in a area of pro-baseball which is the most popular one among pro-sports. The dependent variables are pro-baseball team fan's preference to both the team and the products of the company which has a pro-baseball team, while the independent variables are sex, age, and hometown of fans. Eight hypotheses are constructed with those variables. For testing them a questionnaire was used, whose reliability was checked using Kronbach Alpha. Subjects were 314 college students in a local city. For statistical analysis nonparametric tests like Mann Whitney test, Kruskal-Wallis test, etc were used. Useful and significant results among variables were obtained. Since these results have important implications about management of pro-sports teams and fans and fans Preference to products in a view of sports marketing management, more researches should be done continuously in the future in this area.

  • This paper is dedicated to studying some Hausdorff operators on the Heisenberg group ${\mathbb{H}}^n$. The sharp bounds on the strong-type weighted Lorentz spaces ${\Lambda}^p_u(w)$ and the weak-type weighted Lorentz spaces ${\Lambda}^{p,{\infty}}_u(w)$ are investigated. Especially, the results cover the classical power weighted space $L^{p,q}_{\alpha}$. The results are also extended to the product spaces ${\Lambda}^{p_1}_{u_1}(w_1){\times}{\Lambda}^{p_2}_{u_2}(w_2)$, especially for $L^{p_1,q_1}_{{\alpha}_1}{\times}L^{p_2,q_2}_{{\alpha}_2}$. Our proofs are quite different from those in previous documents since the duality principle, and some well-known inequalities concerning the weights are adopted. The results recover the existing results as well as we obtain new results in the new and old settings.

  • A novel ${\alpha}-glucoside$ hydrolase (named PspAG97A) from glycoside hydrolase family 97 (GH97) was cloned from the deep-sea bacterium Pseudoalteromonas sp. K8, which was screened from the sediment of Kongsfjorden. Sequence analysis showed that PspAG97A belonged to GH97, and shared 41% sequence identity with the characterized ${\alpha}-glucoside$ BtGH97a. PspAG97A possessed three key catalytically related glutamate residues. Mutation of the glutamate residues indicated that PspAG97A belonged to the inverting subfamily of GH97. PspAG97A showed significant reversibility against changes in salt concentration. It exhibited halophilic ability and improved thermostability in NaCl solution, with maximal activity at 1.0 M NaCl/KCl, and retained more than 80% activity at NaCl concentrations ranging from 0.8 to 2.0 M for over 50 h. Furthermore, PspAG97A hydrolyzed not only ${\alpha}-1,4-glucosidic$ linkage, but also ${\alpha}-1,6-$ and ${\alpha}-1,2-glucosidic$ linkages. Interestingly, PspAG97A possessed high catalytic efficiency for long-chain substrates with ${\alpha}-1,6-linkage$. These characteristics are clearly different from other known ${\alpha}-glucoside$ hydrolases in GH97, implying that PspAG97A is a unique ${\alpha}-glucoside$ hydrolase of GH97.

  • Numerous studies have been conducted regarding association between TNF-${\alpha}$ and oral cancer risk, but the results remain controversial. The present meta-analysis is performed to acquire a more precise estimation of relationships. Databases of Pubmed, the Cochrane library and the China National Knowledge Internet (CNKI) were retrieved until August 10, 2013. Pooled odds ratios (ORs) and 95% confidence intervals (95% CIs) were calculated with fixed- or random-effect models. The heterogeneity assumption was assessed by I-squared test. Among the eight included case-control studies, all were focused on TNF-${\alpha}$-308G>A and four also concerned the TNF-${\alpha}$-238G>A polymorphism. It was found that oral cancer risk were significant decreased with the TNF-${\alpha}$-308G>A polymorphism in the additive genetic model (GG vs. AA, OR=0.19, 95% CI: [0.04, 1.00], P=0.05, I2=68.9%) and the dominant genetic model (GG+GA vs. AA, OR=0.22, 95% CI: [0.06, 0.82], P=0.03, I2=52.4%); however, no significant association was observed in allele contrast (G vs. A, OR=0.70, 95% CI: [0.23, 2.16], P=0.54, I2=95.9%) and recessive genetic models (GG vs. GA+AA, OR=0.72, 95% CI: [0.33, 1.57], P=0.41, I2=93.1%). For the TNF-${\alpha}$-238G>A polymorphism, significant associations with oral cancer risk were found in the allele contrast (G vs. A, OR=2.75, 95% CI: [1.25, 6.04], P=0.01, I2=0.0%) and recessive genetic models (GG vs. GA+AA, OR=2.23, 95%CI: [1.18, 4.23], P=0.01, I2=0.0%). Conclusively, this meta-analysis indicates that TNF-${\alpha}$ polymorphisms may contribute to the risk of oral cancer. Allele G and the GG+GA genotype of TNF-${\alpha}$-308G>A may decrease the risk of oral cancer, while allele G and the GG genotype of TNF-${\alpha}$-238G>A may cause an increase.
