Robust Multiuser Detection Based on Least p-Norm State Space Filtering Model

  • Alpha stable distribution is better for modeling impulsive noises than Gaussian distribution in signal processing. This class of process has no closed form of probability density function and finite second order moments. In general, Wiener filter theory is not meaningful in S$\alpha$SG environments because the expectations may be unbounded. We proposed a new adaptive recursive least p-norm Kalman filtering algorithm based on least p-norm of innovation process with infinite variances, and a new robust multiuser detection method based on least p-norm Kalman filtering. The simulation experiments show that the proposed new algorithm is more robust than the conventional Kalman filtering multiuser detection algorithm.

  • In this work, we discuss the existence of mild solutions in the ${\alpha}$-norm for some partial functional integrodifferential equations with infinite delay. We assume that the linear part generates an analytic semigroup on a Banach space X and the nonlinear part is a Lipschitz continuous function with respect to the fractional power norm of the linear part.

  • 본 논문에서는 ${\alpha}$-stable 확률분포를 갖는 잡음에 열화된 이미지의 화질을 개선하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안한 진폭제한 평균필터(amplitude-limited sample average filter)는 heavy-tailed 가우시안 잡음환경 하에서 maximum likelihood estimator (MLE)임을 증명한다. 그리고, 이 알고리즘에 해당하는 error norm은 Huber의 minimax norm과 일치하고, 위에서 언급한 잡음 환경 하에서 efficacy를 최대화한다는 점에서 최적의 필터임을 보인다. 이 개념을 미리어드(myriad) 필터와 결합하여 진폭제한 미리어드 필터(amplitude-limited myriad filter)를 제안하고 실험을 통하여 이의 성능을 확인한다.

  • We prove a norm inequality of the form $\left\$\mid$ \upsilon \right\$\mid$ \leq (r - 1) \left\$\mid$ u \right\$\mid$_p, 1 < p < \infty$, between a non-negative subharmonic function u and a smooth function $\upsilon$ satisfying $$\mid$\upsilon(0)$\mid$ \leq u(0), $\mid$\nabla\upsilon$\mid$ \leq \nabla u$\mid$$ and $\mid$\Delta\upsilon$\mid$ \leq \alpha\Delta u$, where $\alpha$ is a constant with $0 \leq \alpha \leq 1$. This inequality extends Burkholder's inequality where $\alpha = 1$.

  • The primary purpose of this paper is to prove the fuzzy version of Riesz theorem in n-normed linear space as a generalization of linear n-normed space. Also we study some properties of fuzzy n-norm and introduce a concept of fuzzy anti n-norm.

For any a ∈ [a*, ∞), the fractional Schrödinger operator 𝓛a is defined by 𝓛a := (-Δ)α/2 + a|x|, where $a^*:={\frac{2^{\alpha}{\Gamma}((d+{\alpha})/4)^2}{{\Gamma}(d-{\alpha})/4)^2}}$. In this paper, we study two-weight Sobolev inequalities associated with 𝓛a and two-weight norm estimates for several square functions associated with 𝓛a.

  • We generalize several integral inequalities for analytic functions on the open unit polydisc $U^n={\{}z{\in}C^n||zj|<1,\;j=1,...,n{\}}$. It is shown that if a holomorphic function on $U^n$ belongs to the mixed norm space $A_{\vec{\omega}}^{p,q}(U^n)$, where ${\omega}_j(\cdot)$,j=1,...,n, are admissible weights, then all weighted derivations of order $|k|$ (with positive orders of derivations) belong to a related mixed norm space. The converse of the result is proved when, p, q ${\in}\;[1,\;{\infty})$ and when the order is equal to one. The equivalence of these conditions is given for all p, q ${\in}\;(0,\;{\infty})$ if ${\omega}_j(z_j)=(1-|z_j|^2)^{{\alpha}j},\;{\alpha}_j>-1$, j=1,...,n (the classical weights.) The main results here improve our results in Z. Anal. Anwendungen 23 (3) (2004), no. 3, 577-587 and Z. Anal. Anwendungen 23 (2004), no. 4, 775-782.
