This paper studies market efficiency from a weak form aspect using opening and closing prices of the Shanghai stock exchange composite index (SSEC) and Shenzhen stock exchange composite index (SZSEC) under the expected return theory. Classical methods (autocorrelation and runs test) are used to examine the features of stock returns, and little evidence against mutual independence of returns is found. We predict daily returns of SSEC and SZSEC with AR(p) and VAR(p) models (in this paper, p = 5 is taken as a one-week lag) and perform a virtual experiment on two indexes based on the predicted value of daily returns from AR(p) or VAR(p) model. From the results of AR(p) and VAR(p) for two indexes, we attempt to find out how the market efficiency level changes when the information from the other market is under consideration as we check the market efficiency level in one market. We find that SSEC in 2014-2016 and SZSEC in 2015-2016 are inefficient from the result of autocorrelation, that SSEC in 2016 and SZSEC in 2013 are not efficient from the result of runs test, that the stock market is efficient except 2005, 2009, 2010 and 2017 in SSEC and 2005, 2016 and 2017 in SZSEC and that SSEC is more influenced by SZSEC but SSEC influences SZSEC less from the result of the virtual experiment.

With a view to attracting foreign investment and growing the economy, the Vietnamese government has hastened financial reforms, including the lifting of limitations on foreign investment, which has resulted in rapidly rising foreign ownership in recent years. To study the relationship between transactions of foreign investors and transactions of domestic investors on two stock exchanges in Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HSX) and Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX). This study applies a secondary dataset comprising daily market trading information of 912 stocks from 18 industries listed on 2 Vietnam stock exchanges, including HSX and HNX, which includes executed price, executed volume, daily Buy Orders, and Sell Orders categorized into domestic investors' orders and foreign investors orders from 01.04.2010 to 10.04.2018. The regression results show a significantly positive relationship between foreign investors' trading and domestic investors' transaction in all trading activities in both up and down markets. Therefore, these results indicate that domestic investors in Vietnam are concerned with foreign investors' trading as an important sign, and domestic investors tend to follow their counterparties without appropriate fundamental information. From there, there are signs of herding behavior of domestic investors following foreign investors in transactions on the stock market in Vietnam.

Investment decisions are one of the most fundamental issues in financial management. This study aims to determine the factors that affect investment decisions in the energy industry and to contribute to the companies in this industry to develop strategic policies. The System GMM analyzes were carried out using the data of companies registered on the stock exchange for the period 2000-2015. The findings showed that industrial competition and firm size were important factors influencing the investment decisions of firms in the energy industry. The findings indicated a nonlinear relationship between industrial competition and the rate of investment in the energy sector. Depending on the firm's size, the effect of industrial competitiveness on investment varies. Smaller businesses are more impacted by the level of competition than larger ones. The investment rate decreases depending on the increase in cash holding level and firm risk. When the subgroups in the energy industry are examined, it is determined that they reveal some differences in terms of financial structure. A higher investment rate results from a higher retained earnings ratio. The investment rate of firms falls as a company's risk level and sales revenue variability increase.

This study explored the effectiveness of the measures taken by the Jordanian Central Bank embedded in its monetary policy in encouraging banks to support investment. It aimed to explore the impact of this monetary policy on supporting credit-related decisions and the monetary policies that aim to support investment in Jordan. The targeted tools of the monetary policy are: (Overnight Deposit Window Rate, money supply, and exports). The researchers carried out an analysis to measure the effectiveness of the monetary policy in fostering investment in Jordan during the period 1992-2020. They carried out the time series analysis. They explored the stationarity of the time series. They used the ARDL model. It was found that the Overnight Deposit Window Rate has a negative significant effect on the gross fixed capital formation. It was found that the money supply has a positive insignificant effect on gross fixed capital formation. The researcher recommends using Overnight Deposit Window Rate in a manner that is consistent with the intended investment-related goals. -

Based on assessing the impact of factors on the business efficiency of construction enterprises, the research team proposes policy implications to improve the business performance of listed construction enterprises in Vietnam in the coming time. The study used secondary data collected from the audited financial statements of 25 enterprises listed on Vietnam's stock market in the period 2015-2021 to estimate the factors affecting the business performance of construction enterprises. After collecting, the data will be encrypted and checked. The article uses a quantitative research method by using a linear regression model on Eviews 10 to analyze the data and analyze the impact of factors on the business performance of construction enterprises listed on Vietnam's stock market. The research result shows that firm size and growth rate positively affect business performance while capital structure, receivable management, fixed asset investment, and economic growth have a positive impact on the business performance of construction companies listed on the Vietnamese stock market. Based on this result, the paper also makes recommendations to the Vietnamese construction companies to enhance their business performance. -

The article examines the ownership structure and dividend payout behavior of India-listed firms using a panel regression approach. It focuses on family ownership and examines why dividend payouts of family firms differ from non-family firms. The study finds that family firms dominate and have concentrated ownership using data from the NSE-listed regular dividend-paying firms. Although family ownership concentration is high among Indian firms, these firms are not concerned about distributing cash as dividends. Instead, these firms focus on retaining and passing on control from one generation to the next. The evidence shows that family firms pay low dividends and have higher leverage than non-family counterparts. The results support the entrenchment of minority shareholders and the proposition that a high payout signals a reduction in the information asymmetry and level of risk. The study further illustrates that cash dividends tend to reduce the level of risk perceived; however, (cash dividend) leads to the deterioration firm's liquidity and aid in the shrinking of cash among emerging market firms. The originality of the paper lies in factoring ownership concentration while explaining the dividend behaviour from an emerging markets perspective, characterized by high private benefits and weak protection for external minority shareholders. -

This study assesses the Internet banking adoption tendency by existing bank customers of Bangladesh. Currently, almost all the leading banks in the country have implemented Internet banking platforms. However, the active user count remains relatively low and there hasn't been any conclusive research on the drivers and inhibitors of Internet banking. This study evaluates the reasons and quantitatively establishes the factors leading to the adoption and usage continuance of internet banking by existing bank customers. Responses from 460 bank account holders were collected via online questionnaires using a purposive sampling approach, and a core conceptual framework based on Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Technology Readiness Index (TRI) was used. The study concluded that internet banking adoption is significantly impacted by the ease of use, customer service, and technology familiarity. Similarly, customer satisfaction is affected by the perceived value and the perceived risk. Through regression analysis, it was found that usage continuance is 89% explained by adoption and customer satisfaction. Multi-group moderation showed significant impact by groups divided based on usage frequency, income level, and age. Perceived risk weakened the impact of perceived value and technology familiarity on usage adoption. Additionally, perceived risk reduced the impact of consumer satisfaction and usage continuance. -

This study aims to investigate the factors that contribute to the sustainable development of 334 Vietnamese construction and real estate companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Vietnam over a 5-year period from 2016 to 2020. By using regression analysis with the support of STATA software through examining the financial statements, which involves looking into crucial ratios including capital structure, profitability, firm size, accounts receivable management, and tangible assets investment, this study sheds light on whether these accounting indicators could help predict the construction and real estate companies growing potential in the future. Nevertheless, these ratios slightly contribute to the explanation of the change in revenue growth ratio, with a result of 1.6%, indicating that the value relevance of accounting information provides a modest and insignificant effect on investment decisions. This is understandable because the Vietnamese construction and real estate market still has many shortcomings in handling unexpected events, as well as the industry's peculiarities related to major capital sources from bank loans. Based on this study, governmental authorities and business executives should plan appropriate risk management policies and measures to contribute to the sustainable development of construction and real estate companies. -

Financial markets have long been known to be prone to behavioral biases. One such behavioural bias that is consequential yet pervasive in financial markets is the herd effect. The objective of this study is to determine whether or not there exist herd behaviour in the new and bourgeoning Decentralized Finance (DeFi) Tokens market. This is accomplished by using daily returns of 22 DeFi tokens from January 29, 2017 to August 19, 2021, and the Cross-sectional Absolute Deviation (CSAD) of market returns to capture herd behavior. The results fail to provide any evidence of herding in the DeFi token market on bullish days, that is days for which the average market returns is positive. For bearish days however, that is days for which the market returns is negative, our empirical findings point to the presence of adverse herding in the DeFi token market. This phenomenon can be explained to some extent by the investor composition of the DeFi market. The DeFi token space is a growth market dominated by experts and/or enthusiasts who are insulated against the temptation and panic of negative market swings by the level of market and technical information they possess on the assets they invest. -

This research aims to investigate the antecedents of career growth and its impact on employee performance. The research design is quantitative with a causal method. The sample used is 242 respondents working in different hospitals in Banten Province and were selected through the snowball sampling technique. The analytical method used to examine the research model is PLS-SEM. The analysis result shows that work environment and training have an impact on increasing career development and hospital employee performance. Career development can also directly be an antecedent in improving the performance of hospital employees, but only has a moderate effect in mediating the influence of work environment and training on the employees' performance in the hospital. Based on these findings, hospital management in Banten Province must create and maintain a comfortable working environment for employees, offer training specific to each employee's line of work to help them improve their abilities, and create a system for career planning that takes into account each employee's potential. -
For decades, Vietnam has been concerned about the need to improve human capital to meet the demands of a knowledge-based economy. The analysis of the country's current situation of human resources in terms of structure, quantity, and the quality shows that Vietnam's human resources are under-qualified compared with other countries in Southeast Asia, such as Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore. This poses significant challenges to the economy because the development of human resources is always an urgent requirement for a new economy with fast growth, like in the Vietnamese economy. To attract foreign investment capital and develop more strongly, human resources in Vietnam must have progressed in both quality and quantity. Therefore, the author conducts this study to find out the factors that directly affect the quality of human resources, thereby evaluating and offering appropriate solutions to improve the quality of current human resources in Vietnam. More specifically, through quantitative analysis and survey with data about 4000 employees in Ho Chi Minh City, the author has discovered that there are four important factors that make the difference in labor quality, which are age, gender, marital status, and education level of the workers.

Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), whether international (INGOs) or local (NGOs), are the primary engines of humanitarian assistance in almost all national economies. Food security and these organizations are inextricably linked. They include a wide range of activities that need shared management or ventures to ensure food security in the Gaza Strip. Between December 2021 and January 2022, the survey was delivered online using Google forms. The target demographic for the research was those who worked for NGOs, whether it is local or international, in the Gaza Strip in the field of food security. Furthermore, 250 employees (N = 250) were used for this research. Women's contributions to these organizations' innovation in the Gaza Strip are highlighted in this research, which has crucial ramifications for policymakers and leaders. As a first step, NGOs should encourage more female leaders to enter this organization to boost female roles in this field. Leaders in Gaza Strip could also help promote the innovative management of top female leaders. Hence, these firms should offer training programs to assist women in their advancement in innovation. -

This article examines the effect of inward foreign direct investments (FDI) on the export performance of micro, small & medium enterprises (MSMEs) in India, and investigates the spillover impact and absorption capacity of the MSMEs sector. For the first time, the researchers applied the intersectoral linkage approach to investigate the matter and used a panel dataset between 2006 and 2017. The coefficients of forward and backward linkages are estimated by using the Rasmussen method, the study employs a basic linear panel data model, followed by various diagnostic tests to identify the problem of heteroscedasticity, autocorrelation / serial correlation, cross-sectional dependencies, multicollinearity, time-individual specific tests, and unobserved effects. The PCSE model was applied for robust standard error and the Hausman-Taylor IV model to check the robustness of the result generated in the linear panel data model. Despite the high prevalence of forward and backward intersectoral connections and the Lack of absorption capacity of local firms, the results show that FDI has little of an impact on the export performance of micro, small, and medium-sized businesses in India. This study adds to the existing literature on determining local firms' spillover effect and absorption capacity in response to inward FDI. -

The purpose of this paper is to explain the process of developing and validating the instrument to measure the university's organizational core values and sub-values known as ESI iDART. The three core values are excellence, synergy, and integrity, while the five sub-values comprise knowledge, discipline, trustworthiness, diligence, and responsibility that all staff should understand and practice. These values must be measured to examine the extent to which the staff has practiced them in their work life. With regard to methodology, the research instrument used in the study was developed using a focus group study involving 39 university staff from various departments and campuses. The instrument was later refined and validated by a group of experts from the university. In the main study, the instrument was distributed to all 17,969 university staff from all over the country. After one month, a total of 11,688 university staff participated in the survey indicating a 66% response rate. Using descriptive analysis, reliability analysis, and ANOVA, the results indicate that instrument is considered valid and reliable to be used. The major findings from the study show that organizational values increase over time. Some theoretical and managerial implications are also discussed. -
The study aims to determine the influencing factors and their impact on the management of the forest land used for production allotted to peasant households and proposes solutions to improve its management. Secondary data was calculated until the end of 2019 at state agencies. The primary data was collected through 2 steps. To determine the factors influencing forest land management for production, step one involved a survey of 100 households that were given access to forest land. Step 2 involved a survey of 215 households to determine how factors impacted the Likert scale's five levels. The study also used a multivariate regression model and SPSS24.0 software to determine the impact rates of factor groups. The study indicated 43 factors that belong to 11-factor groups affecting the management of forest land for production. The policy and legal factors group is the most influential, with an impact rate of 12.72%, followed by 10 other factor groups with impact rates ranging from 4.08% to 11.74%. The solutions include improving policies and laws, strengthening the dissemination of policies and laws; encouraging investment, completing cadastral work, intensifying inspection, examination, and sanctioning of administrative violations of land, upgrading the infrastructure system, and ensuring enough human resources to manage forest land.

The current study examines the nexus between the capital structure (debt-equity) and firm value (Tobin's Q) by including profitability (alternatively Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE)) as a moderator in the companies of Saudi Arabia. The study sample consists of 102 companies listed on Tadawul (the Saudi Arabian stock exchange) from different sectors of Saudi Arabia during the period 2013 to 2020. The study estimates pooled regression, panel regression with fixed and random effects, and dynamic panel regression models to report the results. The study results report that there is a negative and significant association between capital structure and firm value in model 1, while in models 2 and 3 there is a more negative and significant impact between the two study variables compared to model 1 after the inclusion of interaction variable, i.e. profitability in terms of ROA and ROE. The comparative result shows that the companies of Saudi Arabia hold more debt in their capital structure mix, hence evidencing a decrease in the firm value. The reported results also show that models 2 and 3 are better in explaining the impact of capital structure on firm value due to the interaction of profitability compared to model 1. -

The ecosystem for digital payments in India has expanded quickly during the last decade. A synthesis of technical advancements and progressive governmental laws and regulations has fuelled this expansion. Particularly, the UPI system has assisted India in transitioning from a nation heavily reliant on cash for daily transactions to one with fewer cash transactions. The study attempted to determine how Financial Inclusion (FI) through a socio-techno-ecosystem impacts digital payment systems. FI involves ensuring financial services, products, and an adequate amount of credit without discrimination against the weaker section of society. The study has established that FI impacts the UPI. The finance infrastructure thus helps to develop an ecosystem where financial access and the awareness level help people to transit to new channels of payment. We have used secondary data of 27 banks for sixteen quarters and four years, i.e., for the financial years 2016-17 to 2019-20. It is observed from the current study that the offsite_ATM plays a significant role in the value creation of the UPI. Our study implies that it will help retailers, individuals, and business houses to use UPI platforms for swift payments without hassle. Also helpful for industries that are still not digitally disrupted and industry-specific UPI transactions. -

This study investigates the effect of serv-qual and reputation on customer loyalty through the trust of deposit customers in Micro Finance Institutions. The population was deposit customers at BMT distributed into 5 provinces of the Special Region of Yogyakarta, and a survey was conducted from January 2021 to February 2022. The probability random sampling technique was used to select the final sample, and a total of 221 responses were collected using a questionnaire. Technical data analysis was done using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), supported by AMOS 22.0 program. The results showed that serv-qual and reputation have a positive and significant impact on the trust and loyalty of deposit customers at BMT. Customers positively and significantly impact the relationship between serv-qual and reputation on customer loyalty. The biggest contribution to loyalty was generated by the variable customer trust (0.399), followed by service quality (0.359) and reputation (0.166). Micro Finance Institution needs to improve the management of deposit customers by improving serv-qual, reputation, and customer trust and conduct comparative research between conventional financial institutions and other informal financial service institutions. -
With the aim of examining the effects of implementing international financial reporting standards (IFRS) on teaching accounting and auditing at universities and colleges in Vietnam, a case study was conducted at 30 universities, colleges, and 208 lecturers in Vietnam. Next, the study employed the structural model analysis method by PLS_SEM software to process and analyze the collected data. The research results show that: (1) There are eight factors that affect how IFRS is applied to teaching, including the training program, (ii) teaching staff, (iii) IFRS application regulations, (iv) related party requirements, (v) faculty/school administrators, (vi) teaching aids, (vii) IFRS teaching methods, and (iii) students; (2) there are three factors that affect the quality of teaching staff, including applying IFRS to teaching at the university and colleges, (ii) Regulations on the application of IFRS, (iii) Requirements from related parties. At the same time, the study also shows that, regarding the indirect relationships, applying IFRS to teaching does not play an intermediary role in these relationships. However, at the 10% significance level, it was found that there is an indirect relationship between regulations on the application of IFRS by the Ministry of Finance and the quality of teaching staff through the variable applying IFRS to teaching.

The primary objective of the current study is to ascertain the effect of transparency and disclosure (T&D) on the value of banks operating in the Indian banking sector. It also includes finding the moderating impact of financial distress (FD) and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) on the association between T&D and the valuation of banks. The study employs Panel data analysis (PDA) to analyze data and produce novel results thereafter. The authors of the study have considered using data of secondary nature which is sourced from banks operating in the Indian banking industry. Data in the current study has been considered for ten financial years, i.e., 2010 to 2019. The results reveal that T&D positively impacts a firm's valuation. We have also found evidence that financial distress and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) significantly impact the value of firms under the influence of T&D. As far as we are aware, no study of this kind has been done yet in any developing nation to determine the effect that T&D, FD, and ESG have on the value of Indian banks. This paper can help future researchers in their respective studies that will involve the study variables (FD, T&D, and ESG). -
The current article examines the interactions among students' attitudes to e-learning, their implementation of e-learning in their studies, and learning effectiveness. Significantly, it emphasizes the mediating role of accepting e-learning in training. It applied reliability analyses to test the measurement of items and construct validity, using the research data collected from students at Vietnam National University of Ho Chi Minh. Then, the current article used multiple regressions to inspect the causal relations; and applied procedures to investigate the mediating influence. The empirical results indicate students' attitude to e-learning positively influences their implementation of e-learning in their studies. When students apply e-learning in their studies, they likely achieve the best possible training effectiveness. Statistical evidence on the mediating role of accepting e-learning in training by students on the linkage between their attitude to e-learning and training effectiveness is revealed in this article. The findings of this article make some contributions. For educational administrators, it offers insight into the links among students' attitudes to e-learning, their implementation of e-learning in their studies, and training effectiveness, which likely allows them to establish suitable online training programs. This will be beneficial to both learners and educational institutes.

Globally, COVID-19 has significantly impacted many different organizations and people. From the banks' perspective, this pandemic has affected banks' corporate and retail customers. Also, banks had to adjust to distributed workforce model. This paper analyses the lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic, which can be effectively used to rebuild banks' Operational Risk Management capabilities. The present study used the survey research methodology, which includes structured questionnaires completed by senior banking professionals to analyze the learnings from COVID-19 and understand the distributed workforce model and remote working effectiveness. Findings: The Pandemic accelerated the pace of digital transformation. The lockdown imposed due to the pandemic led to employees working remotely, which has been effective because of enhanced digital capabilities. However, enhanced monitoring is required to prevent data-related issues, and action needs to be taken to address challenges faced in having a remote distributed workforce model, like negative impact on on-the-job learning, data-related risks, and employee wellbeing. COVID-19 is an unprecedented event that could not have been predicted in any scenario analysis. This crisis has highlighted various systemic drawbacks that need to be addressed. Banks can apply the lesson learned from this Pandemic to become more robust in the future. -

The global financial crisis of 2008-2009 and the COVID-19 pandemic that started in 2019 along with the slow and unstable recovery of the global economy have raised concerns about the impact of global uncertainty on the macroeconomics of the countries. The paper used the Structural Vector Autoregression (SVAR) model to examine the impact of global uncertainty shocks on Vietnam's economy from the period 2008-2022. We found that Vietnam's output dropped following the shock of global uncertainty, the peak was in the third month, and lasted for one year. Inflation in Vietnam had a rapid downturn in the first month, peaked in the seventh month, and took a long time to cease. When the economy experienced the shock of increased global uncertainty, Vietnam's policy interest rate was adjusted downward. Additionally, we included a long-term interest rate to consider the overall impact of monetary policy into account. A decreasing trend was also found with this rate. The global uncertainty shock effects acted as the aggregate demand shocks, reducing output and inflation as the uncertainty increases and vice versa, thus monetary policy can be used to regulate Vietnam's economy to deal with negative shocks without the trade-offs between output and inflation as aggregate supply shocks. -

The objectives of the research are to study the effects of emotional intelligence (EI), reward management (RM), and occupational health and safety (OHS), on employee performance (EP) within a Thai motor service and repair firm. Starting in January 2022 through the end of March 2022, the researchers used simple random sampling techniques to select 88 employees for the case study. The research instrument was a questionnaire with an IOC value between 0.67-1.00 and a reliability value α of 0.78. Survey participants were asked to contribute their opinions to a five-level opinion survey which was hosted on Google Forms. Descriptive statistics analysis (mean and standard deviation) and multiple linear regression analysis were done using SPSS for Windows version 21. The results showed that employee opinions concerning EI, RM, OHS, and EP were at a high level, with the three hypotheses testing showing statistical significance (p ≤ 0.01). The decision coefficients (R2) all revealed relationship strength with RM = 0.861, OHS = 0.853, and EI = 0.731. -
Public investment is the process of investing capital in projects that serve national interests and thereby create a driving force for economic development in each country. Especially in developing countries, investment capital is limited, so improving the efficiency of public investment becomes a decisive factor for economic development and enhancing the country's status and ultimately making the country a should be rich. Vietnam has a low starting point, has gone through the doi moi process, and has gradually become a middle-income country, and public investment is attracting attention to improve the quality of the country's infrastructure. The objective of this study is to evaluate the factors affecting the effectiveness of public debt management in Vietnam, through a survey of 150 experts with knowledge of public investment and public debt management, using the results of the estimation through the Using SPSS software, the research results show that the monitoring system and human resource quality have an impact on the effectiveness of public debt management. The study could not, however, discover any proof of the influence of institutional quality, geographic location, or accountability on the effectiveness of public debt management. The research also addresses several policy recommendations for Vietnam that would help the country manage its public debt better in the future.

The most crucial elements of SME growth and development are performance and innovation. In actuality, SMEs find it challenging to enhance their performance and innovation due to limited access to resources. Collaboration with other SMEs in the form of local communities can be an alternative solution to gaining access to external resources. Unfortunately, not many studies have explored the role of the local SME community in the development of innovation and performance of SMEs. This study tries to fill this gap by examining the role of local communities in expanding SMEs' access to resources, in their efforts to improve innovation and performance. Data was collected using an online questionnaire distributed to food and beverage SMEs in Malang Regency. As many as 150 questionnaires were received and considered valid for statistical data analysis using the WarpPLS program. The results show that the SME community plays an important role in improving the innovation and performance of food and beverage SMEs. It is also found that innovation can be a good mediator of community relations with the performance of SMEs. Furthermore, it is also confirmed that the SME community moderates the relationship between innovation and the performance of food and beverage SMEs. -

The goal of the study is to examine and assess how the factors of logistics service quality provided by logistics service providers influence customer loyalty and satisfaction in Vietnam. This study employs samples of the Kansei technique. The article's data was gathered through an online survey of 388 distinct Vietnamese customers who used logistics services before and during the Covid-19 outbreak. After the data was obtained, it was evaluated using SmartPLS 3.0's Cronbach's Alpha test and structural equation model (SEM). Staff service quality, operational service quality, and technical service quality are the three factors that determine the quality of logistics services in the study. Out of the 10 proposed hypotheses, research findings show that five are acceptable. The Covid-19 Pandemic in Vietnam had a significant impact on all dimensions, but it had no effect on how satisfied customers were with the logistics service providers. Nevertheless, loyalty is considerably influenced by only one factor, which is customer satisfaction, and customer trust moderates the relationship between these two factors. As a consequence of that, several managerial implications have been proposed to help logistics service providers improve their services to attract and keep Vietnamese customers using their service in the long term. -
In 2011, the 4th industrial revolution officially occurred and developed in most countries. The fourth industrial revolution has given organizations numerous business opportunities, enabling them to optimize their manufacturing processes, cut costs, and thereby improve their operations. The development of enterprises is a decisive factor in increasing national productivity, thereby improving economic growth and per capita income. Therefore, it is necessary to grasp the digital transformation plan and apply science and technology to domestic enterprises and improve the operational efficiency of the economy. Research on small and medium enterprises in Hanoi, Vietnam, which is considered a successful country in economic development and digital transformation and has become a middle-income economy and a highly open economy, the research results suggest that the ability to apply technology in businesses is capable of improving corporate financial performance. The choice of capital structure favoring debt has a negative effect on the financial performance of the enterprise; that is, enterprises in Vietnam should limit the choice of financing investment projects with debt, on the contrary, enterprises should choose to finance with equity. Finally, the study also discusses managerial implications for improving business performance in the context of the rapidly evolving 4.0 technology revolution.

The simple regression model (SRM) is used in this study to look at potential economic growth-influencing factors. The sample's period runs from 2005 to 2019. The data was gathered from various ministries and government agencies such as the Central Bank of Afghanistan's Statistical Bulletin, the World Bank, the United Nations (UN), World Bank open data, NASA, Ministry of Finance (MoF), Ministry of Economy (MoE), and Central Bank of Afghanistan's Statistical Bulletin (CBA), as well as the internet and news. There is an urgent need to ensure that taxes are collected in the most efficient manner possible because one of the enormous management gaps in Afghanistan over the last two decades has been tax evasion. According to the results of this study, tax evasion has a negative and significant impact on Afghanistan's economic growth. We can affirm that the subject of this article is among the most significant topics recently discussed in my country. If the right solutions are implemented, It can significantly contribute to quickening the cycle of the developing Afghan economy and turning it from an unstable to a sustainable one. -

The purpose of this study is to determine the direction and significance of variables influencing small and medium enterprises (SMEs) decisions regarding accounting policy in Vietnam. Research data was collected through a survey of 296 subjects, including chief accountants, accountants, managers, and lecturers with practical experience in accounting work at enterprises. With the help of specialized software SPSS, determining the impact of factors on the choice of accounting policy of enterprises is done through a multivariate regression model with control tools Cronbach's alpha determination, EFA factor analysis, and Pearson correlation analysis. Research results show that there are seven factors affecting the choice of accounting policy in Vietnamese SMEs; in which, the factors information technology, legal environment, information demand, manager's awareness, and accounting qualification have a positive impact; and two factors are tax pressure, and financial leverage have a negative impact on accounting policy choice. These results are consistent with most of the previously published studies. However, in contrast to many previous studies, our research shows that accounting's psychological factor does not affect the accounting policy choice. This is consistent with the characteristics of SMEs in Vietnam because the role of accountants is not appreciated in the business. -
The purpose of the study is to determine how organizational culture affects employees' organizational commitment in Vietnamese clothing enterprises. Quantitative research through a questionnaire survey was applied in this research. A Survey of employees of Vietnamese garment companies in Hanoi was conducted from May 2021 to August 2021. The questionnaire was built from reference to previous studies and transferred to Google form. 315 returned questionnaires were usable. The statistical software SPSS 20.0 was used to test the reliability of the scale (Cronbach alpha), exploratory factor analysis (EFA), and regression analysis. The Organizational culture is constructed by 8 components including Organizational Communication, Training and development, Reward and Recognition, Teamwork orientation, Decision-making, Innovation and risk-taking, Direction and future planning, and Leader behavior. Organizational commitment is constructed by 3 components such as affective commitment, continuance commitment and normative commitment. Findings show that organizational culture has a strong impact on organizational commitment in Vietnamese garment companies. Research provides recommendations on developing a good organizational culture through forming suitable leadership, effective organizational communication, training and development, reward and recognition, and a clear direction and future planning to enhance employee commitment to the organization and increase the garment company's performance in the future.

This study aims to determine the factors that can influence investors in selecting stocks in the Indonesian capital market to establish an optimal portfolio, and find phenomena that occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic so that buying interest / the number of investors increased in the Indonesian capital market. This study collection technique uses primary data obtained from the survey questionnaire and secondary data which is market data, stock price movement data sourced from the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Indonesian Central Securities Depository, and Bank Indonesia, as well as empirical literature on behavior finance, investment decision, and interest in buying stock. The method used in this research is the survey questionnaire analysis with the SEM (statistical approach). The results of the analysis using SEM show that investor behavior influences the stock-buying interest, investor behavior, and the stock-buying interest influences investor decision-making. However, risk management does not influence investor-decision making. This occurs when the investigator's psychological capacity produces more decision information by decreasing all potential biases, allowing the best stock selection model to be selected. When the investigator's psychological capacity creates more decision information by reducing biases, the optimum stock selection model can be chosen.
