본 연구의 목적은 가축분뇨 자원화시설에서 배출되는 주요 악취물질을 대상으로 계절별 현장 방문 조사를 통해 전반적인 악취발생 현황을 파악하고 가축분뇨 자원화시설 운용시 효율적으로 적용될 수 있는 악취 저감대책을 설정하기 위한 기초 데이터 구축이다. 횡형 로터리 (Rotary) 교반방식의 퇴비화시설 내부의 암모니아 발생 농도는 봄철은 84.3 (${\pm}15.2$) ppm, 여름철은 115.2 (${\pm}34.7$) ppm, 가을철은 76.2(${\pm}18.9$) ppm, 겨울철은 38.1 (${\pm}10.4$) ppm으로 측정되었다. 분석 결과 여름철이 가장 높은 것으로 나타났고, 다음으로 가을철 > 봄철 > 겨울철인 것으로 조사되었다 (p<0.05). 반면 황화수소 발생 농도는 봄철은 7.46(${\pm}2.24$) ppm, 여름철은 9.42 (${\pm}2.82$) ppm, 가을철은 8.15 (${\pm}3.06$) ppm, 겨울철은 10.18 (${\pm}4.11$) ppm으로 측정되었다. 분석 결과 겨울철이 가장 높은 것으로 나타났고, 다음으로 여름철 > 가을철 > 봄철인 것으로 조사되었으나, 계절별 통계적 차이는 유의하지 않은 것으로 조사되었다 (p>0.05).

Climate change has directly impacted environmentally dependent first industry. The changes of amount and frequency of precipitation have caused unstable drinking water supply for grassland and feed crop, and have changed the variety of grassland and feed crop. Rising temperature has caused heat stress on livestock, which has impacted feed intake and livestock products, and also has threatened to the health of livestock by widening the range of sources of diseases. In order for livestock industry to confront climate change, new technology development for climate change adaptation and measures of greenhouse gas mitigation are essential. Agroforestry is the one of alternative measures to mitigate greenhouse gases and to adapt to climate change. Agroforestry is the way rearing livestock and cultivating plants in forest, which is suitable to Korea where mountain area is over 68%. Feedstock such as maize, soybean, rice, and grass grown by agroforestry would decrease feed cost. Agroforestry will decrease heat stress of livestock during hot weather and will be possible to pasture, which increases livestock welfare.

This survey was conducted to give the basic information and temperature and humidity variation by cooling systems in dairy farms in Korea. A total of 36 farms were surveyed in Gyeonggi province with the general information of farms such as milk production, and milk quality, types of cooling systems, and its operation method of dairy farms. All of surveyed farms have cooling fan and some have 1 more cooling systems such as sprinkler, foggy systems, ventilation duct, and shower system. Although the indoor THI of cow house was decreased by either ventilation duct or foggy system during hot season, the range belongs to mild heat stress scale for dairy cows.

Total three hundred and fourteen dairy cows were used in this study to analysis of correlation between milking levels and automatic milking system (AMS). Cows were divided into five groups according to their milking levels (over 50 kg/day, 49~40 kg/day, 39~30 kg/day, 29~20 kg/day, 19~10 kg/day). All groups were compared with daily milking number, rejected number by AMS, residence time at AMS, milking time, flow rate of milk. Daily milking number and milking time were higher in the group of over 50 kg and 49~40 kg than that of other groups (p<0.05). There are no correlation on rejected number by AMS, residence time at AMS and flow rate of milk between milking levels and AMS. In addition, we found that the milk yield affected to feed intake and rumination of dairy cows. In conclusion, present results indicated that installation of AMS on dairy farms with high milk producing cows might be affected positively.
