가평군 공공도서관 중장기 종합발전계획 수립을 위한 인식조사 연구

Perception Survey Research for Establishing a Mid- to Long-Term Comprehensive Development Plan for Gapyeong-gun Public Libraries

본 연구는 가평군 공공도서관 중장기 종합발전계획 수립을 위한 기초연구로서 수행되었다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 지역주민과 도서관 관계자를 대상으로 설문조사와 면담조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과를 기반으로 한 논의 사항은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 생애 맞춤형 프로그램, 지식정보 취약계층을 위한 맞춤형 프로그램을 운영해야 할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 최신 도서관 자료의 확보가 필요하다. 셋째, 가평 군내 도서관, 학교도서관 등과 긴밀하게 협력하여 효율적인 장서 관리 및 서비스를 할 필요가 있다. 넷째, 다양한 여가생활 및 문화생활을 즐길 수 있는 복합문화 공간 조성이 필요하다. 다섯째, 적극적인 홍보 활동이 요구된다. 여섯째, 도서관 인력을 충원하여 지역주민의 만족도를 유지 및 향상 시키고, 효율적인 운영을 해야 한다. 일곱째, 효율적인 장서관리를 위한 공간을 조성할 필요가 있다.

This study was conducted as a foundational research to establish a mid- to long-term comprehensive development plan for public libraries of Gapyeong-gun. To achieve the research objectives, surveys and interviews were conducted with local residents and library officials. The key discussion based on the findings are as follows. First, there is a need to run lifelong programs and tailored programs for the information disadvantaged. Second, it is necessary to secure the latest library materials. Third, there is a need to work closely with private and school libraries in the county for efficient collection management and service. Fourth, consideration should be given to the creation of a complex cultural space where people can enjoy various leisure and cultural activities. Fifth, active publicity activities are needed. Sixth, additional library staff should be recruited to maintain and improve the satisfaction of local residents and operate efficiently. Seventh, it is necessary to create a space for efficient collection management.
