시(視)공간의 통사의미론을 위한 위치수열 2차원 일반 $\Delta-TABLE$의 구성 (Construction of the 2D General $\Delta-TABLE$ of the Numerical Series of Position for the Syntactical Semantics of Visual Space)

  • The paper aims to study how to describe the rigorous position on which semantic elements are laid, within the visual space. This purpose is, first of all, for the construction of visual syntactical semantics of the visual space. For this aim, the preliminary research begins with some definitions on : 1) visual space, visual design, visual syntactical semantic meaning, 2) position, sequence of position, 2-dim. sequence of position, and 3) 2-dim. numerical series of position, harmonious dynamic values. Here, The main issue is to define the position in general. To solve this problem, the researcher surveyed the positions on which the sets of pixemes are set up. The results are as follows ; 1. As far as the positions in visual space are concerned, they are the possible locations permitted in the visual patches. They are not the factual but the possible positions. 2.The position value that the sequential point has is not arithmetical but harmonious-dynamic, for it is not permitted for its own sake, but for the person, that is to say, for the viewer's visual perception. 3. The harmonious-dynamic value of positional sequence can be composed of the 2-dimensional successive numerical series which is, in turn, composed of the primordial 3 values x0, $\mu0$, y0. Here, the $\mu0$ is the harmonious mean value of x0 and y0. The x0 and y0 are, therefore, of the mutual dynamic relationship. 4. From this, the 2-dim general $\Delta-TABLE$ of the numerical series of position in visual design could be acquired through development of the primordial 3 values into the $X_i,\;Y_i$, orbit values.

모바일 디스플레이를 위한 특성화 방법과 색 정합 기술 (Characterization Method and Color Matching Technology for Mobile Display)

  • 본 논문에서는 모니터와 모바일 디스플레이간의 복잡한 색 정합 과정을 단순화시키는 3차원의 색 정합 look-up table(LUT)을 설계하였다. 여기에서 영상의 색은 CIEXYZ 혹은 CIELAB 등의 장치 독립적인 색 공간에서 처리되며, 색역의 차이를 보상하기 위해 색역 사상이 수행된다. 장치 의존적인 RGB 색 공간에서 장치 독립적인 색 공간으로의 변환은 디스플레이 특성화 과정을 수행함으로써 이루어진다. 기존의 S-curve 모텔을 이용하여 모바일 LCD 를 특성화 하면 모바일 LCD의 채널 색도 변화와 채널 의존 특성으로 인해 특성화 오차가 허용 오차보다 커지게 된다. 본 논문에서는 R, G, B, C, M, Y, K 성분의 X, Y, Z의 전기-빛 입출력 곡선을 모두 이용하여 특성화 오차를 줄였다. 제안한 색 정합 LUT 와 복잡하고 단계적인 색 정합 절차 사이의 색 정합 결과 영상 비교 실험을 통해 허용오차 내의 영상을 재현할 수 있는 색 정합 LUT의 최소 크기가 64($4{\times}4{\times}4$)라는 것을 확인하였다.

ML-6M선형 가속기에서의 BEAM 특성에 대한 고찰

  • The beam characteristics and dosimetric measurements of the 6MV X-ray and 6MeV electron beam from a ML-6M linear accelerator are examined. The Percent Depth Dose(PDD) table and the tissue Maximum Ratio(TMR) table are taken from measurement as a function of the field size and the depth. The calculated TMR table from PDD table is compared with those from measurement. Other beam characteristics such as output factor, beam profile(including flatness, symmetry and penumbra), wedge, and the variation of Dmax are presented. All of these dosimetric measurements sufficiently characterized the beam to permit safe clinical use.

체형변화에 적합한 X-선 검사대 일체형 Merchant 보조장비의 유용성 평가 (Usefulness Evaluation of Merchant Auxiliary Equipment of Body Type Changing Suitable for X-ray Table Integral Type)

  • 본 연구에서는 인체의 대퇴부 두께에 따른 다양한 무릎뼈의 굴곡각도가 가능하고 사용이 편리한 새로운 보조기구를 개발하고 유용성을 평가하고자 하였다. 검사 대상자는 연구 목적에 동의하고 과거 무릎 관련 질병이 없는 정상인 중 넙다리 둘레가 얇은 A 그룹과 두꺼운 B 그룹을 선발하였다. 무릎뼈의 축방 영상을 획득하기 위해 무릎굴곡각도를 $5^{\circ}$씩 증가시켜 $35^{\circ}$, $45^{\circ}$, $55^{\circ}$로 설정하였으며, 각 각도별로 X-선 입사각도를 $40^{\circ}$, $50^{\circ}$, $60^{\circ}$로 변화시켜 9 개의 검사 조합으로 검사하였다. 그 결과, 사용이 편리하고 체형변화에 적응할 수 있도록 다양한 무릎관절 각도가 가능한 검사대 일체형 무릎뼈 방사선영상검사 보조장비를 개발하였다. 그리고 이 보조장비를 이용하여 A 그룹에서는 무릎굴곡 각도가 $45^{\circ}$에서 X-선 입사 각도가 $60^{\circ}$$50^{\circ}$ 그리고 B 그룹에서는 X-선 입사 각도가 $60^{\circ}$에서 무릎굴곡 각도가 $35^{\circ}$$45^{\circ}$에서 우수한 영상이 도출되었다. 향후 다양한 체형의 환자들의 검사에 매우 유용할 것으로 사료된다.

다랑어연승 실험조업의 조획물조성에 의한 어업생태학적연구 (AN ECOLOGICAL STUDY OF TUNA LONG LINE CATCH DISTRIBUTION OBTAINED BY EXPERIMENTAL FISHING OPERATIONS)

  • Ten experimental tuna long line fishing operations were performed with the long lines A and B, in combination casting orders of BA and AB. The long line B differs from A in its additional main line length per basket and its greater depth of submersion (Table 1). The BA casting order results in an AB hauling order, so that the long line B is casted at an earlier time of a day and fishes for a longer period than A line (fig. 2). The number of fish caught was divided into subclasses in order to be subjected to $x^2-tests$ (Table 2). The first series of $x^2-tests$ were calculated using the hooking rates of two subclasses with other factors pooled (Table 3). The second series of $x^2-tests$ were calculated to obtain the interactions between two subclasses when other factors differed (Table 4). Attention was paid to the extremely small interactions as well as to the large interactions in order to find out whether a factor functions in the same way or in a contradictory way when the other factors involved differ. The test result is summarized in Table 5. The relationship between the hook casting time (relative to the sunrise time) and the hooking rates reveals the feeding behavior of particular species (fig. 3) A high hooking rate for yellowfin tuna shown in the period from one hour before sunrise to the moment of sunrise suggests that they feed actively in that period. Their poor hooking rate on earlier casted hooks suggests that they do not feed well under conditions of darkness and that they feed best while the hooks are sinking. Furthermore it is likely that yellowfin tuna maintain a shallow depth in the daytime, for the $x^2$ interaction between the line casting order BA and AB shows their persistant preferance of the long line A regardless of line casting order. Bigeye tuna show their feeding behavior under conditions of darkness, and show a preference for the sea's deeper layer. Alepisaurus borealis (Gill) show their feeding behavior under conditions of darkness more significantly than the bigeye tuna and their preferance for deep layers is also more significant. Marlins (mainly Makaria mazara) show a feeding behavior which is similar to the yellowfin tuna. The author emphasizes that certain variations of the hooking rates in relation to the line easting time were caused by an inadequate fishing depth as well as by the fish preference for a particular feeding time. When the part of the line casted in pre-dawn hours and hauled in the pre-sunset hours show a significantly lower hooking rate than other parts of the line, then it is concluded that tile hooks settled in a sea layer too deep for feeding.

소형 동물의 생체 촬영을 위한 고해상도 Micro-CT 시스템의 개발 (Development of High Resolution Micro-CT System for In Vivo Small Animal Imaging)

  • Recently, small-animal imaging technology has been rapidly developed for longitudinal screening of laboratory animals such as mice and rats. One of newly developed imaging modalities for small animals is an x-ray micro-CT (computed tomography). We have developed two types of x-ray micro-CT systems for small animal imaging. Both systems use flat-panel x-ray detectors and micro-focus x-ray sources to obtain high spatial resolution of $10{\mu}m$. In spite of the relatively large field-of-view (FOV) of flat-panel detectors, the spatial resolution in the whole-body imaging of rats should be sacrificed down to the order of $100{\mu}m$ due to the limited number of x-ray detector pixels. Though the spatial resolution of cone-beam CTs can be improved by moving an object toward an x-ray source, the FOV should be reduced and the object size is also limited. To overcome the limitation of the object size and resolution, we introduce zoom-in micro-tomography for high-resolution imaging of a local region-of-interest (ROI) inside a large object. For zoom-in imaging, we use two kinds of projection data in combination, one from a full FOV scan of the whole object and the other from a limited FOV scan of the ROI. Both of our micro-CT systems have zoom-in micro-tomography capability. One of both is a micro-CT system with a fixed gantry mounted with an x-ray source and a detector. An imaged object is laid on a rotating table between a source and a detector. The other micro-CT system has a rotating gantry with a fixed object table, which makes whole scans without rotating an object. In this paper, we report the results of in vivo small animal study using the developed micro-CTs.

  • The evaluation test for the operation of rotary type surface mounters which consist of the reel axis, the index table and the X-Y table, has been performed by comparing the new method with the old one in only fields. Because the problem seeking for the optimal operation of rotary type surface mounters, is NP complete, it is almost impossible to get the optimal solutions of large problems. This paper deals with a dynamic network modeling, which can reduce the effort, the cost, and the time used for the performance test of rotary type surface mounters.

CNC 공작 기계의 마찰력 보상을 위한 상호 결합 제어 (Cross-Coupled Control for the Friction Compensation of CNC Machines)

  • In this paper, we proposed a cross-couple controller for compensating nonlinear friction of the X-Y table of CNC machines. Due to the nonlinearity of the frictions, large contour errors, referred to as quadrant glitches, occur when each axis of the X-Y table makes a zero velocity crossing. To reduce the quadrant glitches the friction compensators and nonlinear friction observers for estimating Coulomb frictions are employed in the proposed method. A hyperbolic tangent function is used in reducing the magnitude of quadrant glitches and the CEM (Contour Error Model) is utilized for the estimation of the velocities. The performance of the proposed compensators is evaluated for several trajectories by computer simulations.

  • 본 연구에서는 위의 세가지 보간 알고리즘 가운데서 가장 속도의 균일성이 좋은 DDA방식을 채택하였다. 그리고 윤곽제어에서 가공경로는 대개 직선과 원호 구간의 조합으로 구성되어질 수 있기 때문에, 본 연구에서는 직선 및 원호보간만 고려하기로 한다.
