Alopecia areata (AA) is an autoimmune disease that can affect any hair-bearing area. AA is known to be caused by immunological disorder but still, the pathogenesis is not fully understood. Many therapeutic modalities have been used to treat alopecia areata, with variable efficacy and safety profiles. Unfortunately, none of these agents is definitely curative or preventive alone. We studied hair growth efficacy and safety of Korean red ginseng (KRG) in AA comparing corticosteroid intra-lesional injection (ILI) alone patient group with ILI with KRG taking patient group using Folliscope 2.5 for 12 wk. Herein, we would like to report the efficacy of KRG in the treatment of AA and recommend KRG as a useful complimentary food for gaining efficacy of treatment for AA.

Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) is a rare but life-threatening skin reaction disease and carbamazepine is one of its most common causes. We report a case of SJS secondary to carbamazepine in a patient with previous pruritus due to carbamazepine which was given for treatment of trigeminal neuralgia. We would like to caution all providers that carbamazepine readministration should be avoided in the patient with a previous history of SJS or adverse skin reaction. In addition, we strongly recommend gradual titration when initiating treatment with carbamazepine.

Breast cancer is growing rapidly year by year and has the highest incidence since 2001. As a result, the interest in mammography for early detection of breast cancer is increasing. However, mammography is accompanied by radiation exposure and therefore it is necessary to reduce exposure dose through appropriate test conditions. The significance of this study is that breast dose studies, which were limited to ordinary women, were applied to breast implant patient. Using MCNP simulation, the phantom with prosthesis inserted was developed to compare dose by tube voltage by pressure thickness. In addition phantom without prostheses has higher dose than phantom with prostheses. If these results were used as basic data, it would be possible to recommend test condition guideline only for breast implant patients.

Pilot fatigue is a great hazard to aviation safety. In recent years, long-distance fights have been increasing and flight hours have been increasing, which has made fatigue issues important. International organizations in the aviation sectors (ICAO, FAA, IATA etc.) recommend management of fatigue within the SMS (Safety Management System) framework. A scientific and systematic approach to measuring fatigue is required as a prerequisite to preparing safety management measures for pilot's fatigue. Therefore, in this study, I would like to consider recent trends and implications for fatigue measurement. First, I aimed to consider recent the accident cases related to fatigue. Second, I also considered how to measure the pilot's fatigue. Finally, the direction of the countermeasures against fatigue through fatigue measurement was developed and suggested.

This study surveyed 255 college students enrolled in beauty contract departments located in Seoul(5 schools) and Gyeonggido(6 schools) to investigate their admission support procedure and educational satisfaction. The study found as follows; Data collection was performed from March 25 to May 30, 2018 using SPSS WIN 21.0 for their statistical processing. With respect to data analysis, first, frequency analysis was conducted to look at the general characteristics of the subjects. Second, the admission support procedure of beauty contract department was investigated and cross analysis was performed to see if there was any change according to the subjects' general characteristics. As a result of looking at the awareness on department, 89% were found to be aware of the contract department system. As for their motivation to applying for the department, the largest reasons were found to obtain a degree and to become a hair designer within a short period of time. The most frequent route of application was a recommendation by their high school teachers. The highest priority consideration in choosing a department was the brand awareness of an associated industrial entity. With respect to the complementation education in curriculum, practical technique related to the major was found the highest. 66.7% said they would recommend the department when it comes to the intention to recommend the department. 24.0% were found satisfied with the education regarding educational satisfaction. Therefore, in order to improve the educational satisfaction of the contract department, it is necessary to acquire knowledge of the field technique and practical salon education.

Purpose: This study aims to explore the ways to improve the security of temporary shelters in case of nuclear power plant accidents. Method: In this study, we mainly rely on the case studies on previous nuclear power plant accidents-Chernobyl, Fukushima, and Three Mile Island (TMI) cases. Result: The current radiation emergency response plans for nuclear power plant accidents center around the evacuation procedure. As a result, the concept of "shelter in place" has been understood as a means of assisting resident evacuation. However, based on the case studies, we find that encouraging shelter in place, rather than simply emphasizing evacuation, would help minimize unnecessary casualties, especially in case of the accidents rated greater than or equal to INES 5. To facilitate better shelter in place, we recommend utilize apartments as temporary shelters and suggest some possible improvements to ensure those apartments could be equipped with technologies for high radiation protection. Conclusion: To ensure better shelter in place, we recommend using apartments as temporary shelters, and we seek to supplement the function of apartments by using shielding, positive pressure, and sealing technologies.

Biliary tract cancer, a relatively rare disease, is usually found in an unresectable stage. Weekly cisplatin plus gemcitabine has been applied as a standard first-line therapy for advanced biliary tract cancer, but almost up to 3-5% patients experience drug induced renal impairment. Many anticancer medication guidelines recommend drug adjustment when kidneys are damaged, but weekly cisplatin is somewhat low dose so that there is a controversy on reducing the dose. And it is known that the cumulative dose of cisplatin is the most important factor contributing to renal impairment. Therefore, clinicians face troubles whether or not to maintain the chemotherapy. Here, we reported a patient whose renal function (eGFR) had been decreased as the number of chemotherapy increased, so her chemotherapy should be stopped. Since we held the chemotherapy on her, the disease progressed aggressively. Weekly cisplatin regimen is just 25 mg/m², so it may be meaningless to reduce this dose, and it is well known that cumulative dose of cisplatin is the most important factor contributing to renal impairment, it is better not to use cisplatin anymore. Therefore, we recommend that if the patient responds well to weekly cisplatin plus gemcitabine regimen, it would be beneficial to use gemcitabine alone.

The purpose of this study is to investigate previous data and possibility of the new culture building, insuring substantiality of the education in junior college, increasing of practical carrier, acquiring the money for practical class, and the direction of demand for education in a high level of industrial society. There's two parts to consist of investigation and the model case in wedding business in Junior college. The research groups in one part consist of 277 students in Junior college. The result were as follows: 1) The students would like to get the wedding business in new culture building. (72%) 2) The student shave got a idea to recommend to use the wedding facilities for their for their relative sand friends. (51%) 3) The trend of selecting in wedding facilities is outside than inside of facilities. (75%) 4) They would like to have the buffet service after wedding celemony, not a la carte for choose the meal. The above research data suggest that if the wedding facility's management would be accept, we could have expectation about development of junior college, emphasis of practical education and good wedding culture in this areas. For the most of student, they has a righ hand to manage the wedding facility in their college. First, the culinary students could have an experience of service practies to the customer in wedding celemony, as the result of training will be great. Second, the college could show their vision and hope to customer to interest it. Third, it can be supplied the right wedding culture and the wedding facilities which is low price and good circumstance for wedding. Fourth, it's very resonable to use the culture facilities during no class, Saturday and Sunday. Fifth, income from business can be used only a scholarship and a community development. Sixth, it can be induced the self-participication and motivation to take up a positive attitude for their life.

Background: The program aims to enable the participants to receive oral health care with sustainability and give them the choice and prior autonomy of dental practitioners while enhancing the benefits of sustainability. The purpose of this study is to investigate the necessity, awareness, and satisfaction of the implementation of the registered dentist program for children and adolescents, and to promote the introduction of RDPCA. Methods: The survey targeted adult residents in their 20s or older who live in Seoul, an area that continuously implements the RDPCA system, especially in the cities of Cheonan and Asan Results: 79.7% were the most unaware. However, RDPCA participants were significantly more aware than non-participants. When surveying the desire to participate in RDPCA, 96.6% of the respondents said they would 'participate' in the non-RDPCA participate group. The analysis of the satisfaction level of the RDPCA received by their children indicated that 48.6% expressed their satisfaction, and 47.3% said they were healthy. There was a high percentage of people who said they would recommend RDPCA to others as well as a high rate of those who said they would continue to use RDPCA. Conclusions: The reality is that the awareness and implementation of RDPCA are low. For the development of oral health care programs for all children and adolescents in Korea, and the improvement of the satisfaction level of the dental care system, there should be an active consideration of high-quality programs and.
