The world has become one united world so that it is worthless to divide it into two; the East and West. In the 20th century, eastern perspectives proliferated in western science involving theology, philosophy and psychotherapy. In this time of various trends of ideas emerged minimalism, artistic and cultural current seeking simplicity and conciseness. This current of idea appeared about the time of World War II in visual art, and then expanded to other fields like music, architecture, fashion and philosophy in diverse forms. Minimalism is also presented in interior space with extreme form of simplicity and detail, revealing parts of the space as delicate and pure style with emphasis on purity of the space itself. In this research, demonstrate clear features of eastern view of space appeared in minimalism of interior design mainly in America. The reason the scope of study is limited to America is that America is the origin of minimal art and has been hub of modern design since the 1930s. The research, first, finds out the origin and conceptual idea of minimalism and features of eastern view of space. Based on this understanding, further study has been carried to discover relation of minimalistic interior space to eastern view of space and to analyze eastern characteristic expressed in minimalistic space by examination of cases pertaining to commercial space.

The purpose of this study was to value the present condition of natlwal dyeing, to forecast needs in natural dyeing world and to off the preliminary data on future direction of research and enhancement plan. The three-round Delphi tests were performed with 36 professional in the academic, the industrial, and the art world. The result of the study is as follows: Factor analysis showed the troubles were classified into 4 categories; 'dyeing', 'basis', 'industry' and 'consumer and environment'. Supplementary measures and future direction research 3categories; 'development', 'education' and 'mass production' And commercialization. popularization 2 categories; 'commercialization' and 'popularization'. 'Dyeing' is correlated with 'mass production', 'basis' with 'education' and 'education' with 'commercialization' and 'popularization'. The engaged period in natural dyeing world is longer, professionals were more concerned about 'consumer and environment' The most influential element of the present question in the view is 'education'.

One cat caused a big wave in Russian literature. This cat revived the heroine of Russian classics. Her light breath was scattered in the world, in the cloudy sky and in the cold spring wind about one hundred years ago. And the cat gave an opportunity of turning to Russian classics to Russian readers. Thanks to this cat, a Russian dreamer changed his typical thinking, as well as many ordinary readers start to read works of creator of this wonderful cat. Pelevin accomplished these works with one cat, which he has made. Of course "Nika" is not only caused to make readers to return to Russian classics. I think, the cat and "Nika" are the symbols of writer's purpose in Russian literature. In this study the understanding of "Nika" is following the steps of realization of writer's purpose. In the second chapter it is analyzed to the textual relationship between "Nika" and "Light breath". Apart from existing analyses to be emphasized the succession of thematic aspect of two works as well. Existence of observers to each heroine stress this succession of thematic aspect of two works. In the third chapter it is analyzed the use of technique of mystification in "Nika". This intentional use of mystification has been demanded to read a "Nika" from another point of view(internal speculation of hero-narrator). The purpose of writer was to expose the cognitive error of a human being. I think this purpose was effectively explained by Pelevin's Buddhist world view which was introduced in his several works.

서양의 중세 세계지도는 중세의 관점과 기능적 측면에서 평가되어야 한다. 서양의 중세 세계지도는 그리스와 로마의 고전 지리학과 기교 세계관에 근거하여 세계를 표현하였다. 지도에 표출된 기독교 세계관은 기본적으로 아우구스티누스의 신학에 충실하였다. 중세 세계지도에서는 시간과 공간이 분리되지 않았으며, 시간과 공간의 흐름이 동시에 이루어진다. 본 연구는 서양의 중세 세계지도에 표현된 지상낙원의 지리적 특징과 지도학적 표현 방법을 고찰하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 먼저 지상낙원인 에덴동산의 지리적 특성에 대한 중세 학자들의 의견을 고찰하였다. 둘째, 지상낙원의 지도적 표현 방법에 대해 지리적 위치와 표현 기법 등을 중심으로 살펴보았다. 셋째, 시대에 따른 지리적 위치 변화를 살펴보았다. 넷째, 14세기 이후 지상낙원이 세계지도에서 사라진 원인을 고찰하였다.

Recently, street fashion has been regularly introduced in many fashion media because both consumers and marketers began to recognize the importance of street fashion as a meaningful and objective fashion information source. As the globalization proceeds in fashion field,' the street fashion informations in major cities which has led world fashion trends become more influential on domestic fashion, but little concern has been paid on it. This study classified women's street fashion in 4 major world fashion cities such as Paris, London, New York, Tokyo and identified style characteristics of each group. For data collection, 795 front-view photos were selected from the two fashion trade publication 'STREET' and 'VIEW' which has introduced street fashion photos in those cities from 1996. Classification process went on three stages: sorting, naming and grouping. 49 undergraduate students were divided into 12 teams and about 80 photos were given to each team to sort into several sub-groups by overall images or common style characteristics. Then each sub-group was named according to common images or characteristics. Final groups came out after grouping each sub-group with a similar or same title together. For each group, common style characteristics were analyzed.

This paper attempts to prove Dickens's hopeful view of the future in his last completed novel Our Mutual Friend. This novel has been usually regarded as one of the "dark" novels, "dark" in the sense of viewing social reality and the future negatively. However, although it has the dark descriptive color of society typical in Dickens's later novels, it still contains some elements that point to a better future. To prove this positive view of future, this paper will disentangle the intricate narrative structure of Our Mutual Friend and find out the true meaning of the dust--money. In addition, it will investigate how people react to dust(-like money). From a close study of several characters' lives, it will testify that the dark world of Our Mutual Friend, in the end, could be a world of regeneration, a world that will lead to a better future.

Free viewpoint TV can provide multi-angle view point images for viewer needs. In the real world, But all angle view point images can not be captured by camera. Only a few any angle view point images are captured by each camera. Group of the captured images is called multi-view image. Therefore free viewpoint TV wants to production of virtual sub angle view point images form captured any angle view point images. Interpolation methods are known of this problem general solution. To product interpolated view point image of correct angle need to depth image of multi-view image. Unfortunately, multi-view video including depth image is necessary to develop a new compression encoding technique for storage and transmission because of a huge amount of data. Layered depth image is an efficient representation method of multi-view video data. This method makes a data structure that is synthesis of multi-view color and depth image. This paper proposed enhanced compression method using layered depth image representation and H.264/AVC video coding technology. In experimental results, confirmed high compression performance and good quality reconstructed image.

게임은 다양한 인문학적인 상상력과 공학적인 상상력이 융합되는 첨단 종합문화예술이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 대한민국의 게임산업은 위기를 맞이하고 있다. 그 위기를 타개하기 위한 한 방편으로 정서유발스토리텔링의 순기능성을 연구해 보고자는 것이 본 논문의 집필 목적이다. 이 논문은 MMORPG의 대표적인 게임인 의 서사에 드러난 다양한 정서유발 사례를 텍스트로 선정하였다. 본 연구를 통해 의 핵심 구성요소인 세계관, 캐릭터, 사건에 드러나고 있는 정서유발이 게이머에게 어떤 자극을 일으키고 있는가에 대한 사례들을 단편적으로나마 살펴 볼 수 있었다. 그 결과, 게임산업의 부정적인 인식을 해소하고 산업적 위기를 타개하기 위해서는 게이머의 마음을 움직일 수 있는 정서스토리텔링이 하나의 방법론이 될 수 있다는 사실을 확인하는 계기가 되었다.

In this paper, we propose a new view synthesis technique for coding of multi-view color and depth data in arbitrary camera arrangements. We treat each camera position as a 3-D point in world coordinates and build clusters of those vertices. Color and depth data within a cluster are gathered into one camera position using a hierarchical representation based on the concept of layered depth image (LDI). Since one camera can cover only a limited viewing range, we set multiple reference cameras so that multiple LDIs are generated to cover the whole viewing range. Therefore, we can enhance the visual quality of the reconstructed views from multiple LDIs comparing with that from a single LDI. From experimental results, the proposed scheme shows better coding performance under arbitrary camera configurations in terms of PSNR and subjective visual quality.
