This is a study on the success factors of Korean CDMA industry through a new analytical framework. Korean CDMA industry is a sample for successfully developing technologies and securing competitive advantages in the world market. The new analytical framework is based urn technological innovation model and competitive advantage model. The success factors of CDMA are analyzed from policy. technology, corporation and market paint of view and the causality between them is studied.

The General Assembly of the UN has proclaimed the year 1983 world Communications Year, Development of Communications Infrastructures, with the International Telecommunication Union serving as the lead agency for the year. Therefore, Author investigate the purpose and background of WCY83 and its programs by ITU. As the result, those international plans to implement effectively WCY83 are highly reputed to be reasonable. On this Occassion, I review the current problems refferring to communications policies in Korea and suggest some proposals from the view point of its legislations in order to stimulate the development of communications Science.

Six Sigma is one of the most active subjects in quality management. This studs deals with some existing weaknesses that may wise in implementing Six Sigma in real world situations. The main weaknesses discussed here include the lack of understanding of cultural aspects on the nations and industries, the poor linkage between quality, finance and accounting from the bottom line point of view, and the difficult development process of metrics for all improvement results to validate the effect of Six Sigma. Finally, the key success characteristics for a good Six Sigma project are presented.

Korea has the most level of Internet Infrastructure in the world. But, in the educational aspect, it does not have an enough foundation about Statistical Education. In this paper we consider the methods of activation about statistics. Also, we present what is the Enterprise Guide and what does it have characteristics as statistical analysis tool from educational point of view. And we suggest a new paradigm in statistical education.

This paper describes a method of calculating the viewing parameters of a camera using a perspective view of a circular pattern. The proposed method determines the angle of pan, tilt, and swing, as well as the distance from the camera to the reference point of a world coordinate system, using simple equations. The proposed method is so simple and accurate that when used in a well-controled environment as in robot vision systems or visual inspection systems it may even seem trivial.

Many companies consider environment management system as the main back-bone system. Also, risk management is considered as hot issue in world wide leading companies. In view of efficiency , it is necessary to combine or integrate the environment management system and the risk management system. 본 논문에서는 DEVS 형식론과 High Level Architecture에 기반을 둔 이 기종 시뮬레이션 환경의 구축에 대해 기술한다. DEVS 형식론은 여러 가지 방법으로 기술된 모델들을 동일한 형식론으로 간주하기 위해 사용되었다. 즉, 이산사건 모델링을 위한 세가지 세계관(world view)으로 기술된 시뮬레이션 모델들을 DEVS 형식론으로의 변환을 통해 전체적으로는 DEVS 형식론만을 사용한 것과 동일한 형태로 표현되도록 하였다. High Level Architecture는 시뮬레이션 수행시의 상호 연동성을 보장하기 위해 사용되었다. 이때, DEVS 형식론과 High Level Architecture에서의 시뮬레이션 시간 진행 방법이 다르기 때문에 이의 해결을 Synchronizer, EOS 방법을 제안하였다.
