Workers' Leisure Satisfactions on Them after Enforcement of 5-day Work Week System (주5일 근무제에 따른 직장인의 여가 만족)

  • These days, people have changed their attitude and understanding of the tenn leisure. Since the introduction of the five-day work week system in Korea, people's leisure activities have changed greatly. The purpose of this study was to examine how leisure activities have changed after the introduction of the five-day work week and to find out the variables which influence the way Koreans spend their leisure time. The conclusion and results of these analyses are follows: The five-day work week system increased people's leisure hours, but they were still working more than 40 hours per week and their satisfaction from leisure activities was more influenced by other variables than the enforcement of the five-day work week system. Among the variables influencing the satisfaction from leisure, only those with high income and educational backgrounds were affected by the five-day work week. To conclude, there is a necessity for direction suggestions and political support to utilize leisure time positively.

  • There is a rental housing policy in Korea to support low income citizen. However, the living condition of tenants through this rental program is not work for improving, unlike the initial purpose of providing rental housings. Rental housings, which were planned to improve the residential welfare and enhance self-reliance ability of low income groups and the elderly. It's not effective any more in terms of policy purpose. To solve this problem, plans are needed to support for the construction by Farm-Housing(FH) so that the residents of can support their self-reliance by promoting creating jobs and cooperation. This paper analyze and propose some solution in terms of legal system, financing and streamlining of planing process and permission to support FH program. The paper focus purpose to help identify a new area through such proposals and retain a power of leading technology by bridging the gap between the realistic aspect and ideal aspect.

  • Advanced Life Support Systems(ALSS) are being studied to support human life during long-duration space missions. ALSS can be categorized into four subsystems: Crew, Biomass Production, Food Processing and Nutrition, Waste Processing and Resource Recovery. The System Studies and Modeling (SSM) team of New Jersey-NASA Specialized Center of Research and Training (NJ-NSCORT) has facilitated and conducted analyses of ALSS to address systems level issues. The underlying concept of the SSM work is to enable the effective utilization of information to aid in planning, analysis, design, management, and operation of ALSS and their components. Analytical tools and computer models for ALSS analyses have been developed and implemented for value-added information processing. The results of analyses heave been delivered through the internet for effective communication within the advanced life support (ALS) community. Several modeling paradigms have been explored by developing tools for use in systems analysis. they include objected-oriented approach for top-level models, procedureal approach for process-level models, and application of commercially available modeling tools such as $MATLAB^{R}$/$Simulink^{R}$. Every paradigm has its particular applicability for the purpose of modeling work. an overview is presented of the systems studies and modeling work conducted by the NJ-NSCORT SSM team in its efforts to provide systems analysis capabilities to the ALS community. The experience gained and the analytical tools developed from this work can be extended to solving problems encountered in general agriculture.

  • The aims of this research are to grasp the supporting volition of the government as increasing multicultural family and discussing direction of the work and program for them. Therefore, this article inquired into the structure and the view through the supporting the law in 2008 and policy in 2009 of multicultural family and the contents of the work and program divided into the fields of essentiality and speciality for the multicultural family support center. As a result, this article implied three directions ; first, the practicality of contents based on the needs and requirement of multicultural family, second, the connection of multicultural family life cycle based on circumstances and resources, third, the mutual direction of effect based on promoting the character of a nation between multicultural family and others.

Nonlinear stability and bifurcations of an axially accelerating beam with an intermediate spring-support

  • The present work aims at investigating the nonlinear dynamics, bifurcations, and stability of an axially accelerating beam with an intermediate spring-support. The problem of a parametrically excited system is addressed for the gyroscopic system. A geometric nonlinearity due to mid-plane stretching is considered and Hamilton's principle is employed to derive the nonlinear equation of motion. The equation is then reduced into a set of nonlinear ordinary differential equations with coupled terms via Galerkin's method. For the system in the sub-critical speed regime, the pseudo-arclength continuation technique is employed to plot the frequency-response curves. The results are presented for the system with and without a three-to-one internal resonance between the first two transverse modes. Also, the global dynamics of the system is investigated using direct time integration of the discretized equations. The mean axial speed and the amplitude of speed variations are varied as the bifurcation parameters and the bifurcation diagrams of Poincare maps are constructed.

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine the change in exposure concentration in the cleaning process after installing a local exhaust system. Methods: Dichloromethane measurement was conducted according to the KOSHA Guide (A-19-2019). Results: After the local exhaust device was installed, a total of three measurements were conducted, including temporary work environment measurements, and all of the measurements did not exceed the DCM exposure standard, but were more than 50% of the DCM Time Weighted Average((8-TWA) Conclusions: It is thought that the local ventilation system of a small business needs not only support for the initial installation cost, but also educational support for maintaining the performance of the local ventilation system and support for consumables (adsorbents, filters, etc.) that incur periodic costs.

  • Identifying clinical pathways for disease diagnosis and treatment process recommendations are seriously decision-intensive tasks for health care practitioners. It requires them to rely on their expertise and experience to analyze various categories of health parameters from a health record to arrive at a decision in order to provide an accurate diagnosis and treatment recommendations to the end user (patient). Technological adaptation in the area of medical diagnosis using AI is dispensable; using expert systems to assist health care practitioners in decision-making is becoming increasingly popular. Our work architects a novel knowledge-based recommender system model, an expert system that can bring adaptability and transparency in usage, provide in-depth analysis of a patient's medical record, and prescribe diagnostic results and treatment process recommendations to them. The proposed system uses a set of parallel discrete fuzzy rule-based classifier systems, with each of them providing recommended sub-outcomes of discrete medical conditions. A novel knowledge-based combiner unit extracts significant relationships between the sub-outcomes of discrete fuzzy rule-based classifier systems to provide holistic outcomes and solutions for clinical decision support. The work establishes a model to address disease diagnosis and treatment recommendations for primary lung disease issues. In this paper, we provide some samples to demonstrate the usage of the system, and the results from the system show excellent correlation with expert assessments.

This study is control implement in a way that exploits the capacity of network of processors to execute many tasks concurrently in architectural desigv. The collaboration design system constituted integrated CAD (computer-aided design) system at the base of standardization database environment network and world wide web (WWW). Collaboration design management system is composed of Project Management, Part Management, Process Management , and Appraisement system. They can provide frameworks for effective coordination and management of design work in accordance with the Collaboration Design Support System operating rule accommodatingly. architectural data can be collaboration design environment accessible through a web browser and located at a server. whenever their work investigated each others. Throughout process, the database acted as an individual design and it made them available in realtime. And they can have quick overview of the work. That way a continuous evaluation of best design was distinctly and highly. In the future, New architectural design methods are collaboration environment could result in productivity and quality.

  • GS E&C had developed construction management system, PMS which is based on EVMS in 1997. Recently, TPMS has developed for effective construction management through applying daily schedule management and JIT on materials, labors, equipments focusing field work. TPMS realizes "Shielding" and "Make-Ready Process" which are the main concept of Lean construction. Through this system, it can manage and plan daily field work, support the field work related material, labor, and equipment planning, and minimizes the non-valuable process.   • Recently, with the MZ generation's entry into society and the social participation of the female population, conflicts are occurring between workplace groups that value WLB and existing groups that emphasize collaboration due to differences in work orientation. Public institutions and companies that utilize work-life balance support systems show differences in job Commitment depending on the nature of the work and the activation of the support system. Accordingly, it is necessary to verify the effectiveness of the WLB support system actually operated by the company and present universally valid standards. The purpose of this study is, first, to verify the effectiveness of the support system for work-life balance and to find practical consensus amid changes in policies and perceptions of the working environment. Second, the influence of work-life balance level and job immersion according to work characteristics was analyzed to verify the mutual influence in order to establish standards for WLB operation that reflects work characteristics. For the study, a 2X2 matrix model was used to analyze the impact of work-life balance and work characteristics on job commitment, and four hypotheses were established. First, analysis of the job involvement level of conflict-type group members, second, analysis of the job involvement level of leading group members, third, analysis of the job involvement level of agreeable group members, and fourth, analysis of the job involvement level of cooperative group members. To conduct this study, an online survey was conducted targeting employees working in public institutions and large corporations. The survey was conducted for a total of 9 days from October 23 to 31, 2023, and 163 people responded, and the analysis was based on a valid sample of 152 people, excluding 11 copies that were insincere responses or gave up midway. As a result of the study's hypothesis testing, first, the conflict type group was found to have the lowest level of job engagement at 1.43. Second, the proactive group showed the highest level of job engagement at 4.54. Third, the conformity group showed a slightly lower level of job involvement at 2.58. Fourth, the cooperative group showed a slightly higher level of job involvement at 3.80. The academic implications of the study are that it subdivides employees' personalities into factors based on the level of work-life balance and nature of work. The practical implications of the study are that it analyzes the effectiveness of WLB support systems operated by public institutions and large corporations by grouping them.
