  • The rapid advancement of technologies within the Fourth Industrial Revolution is expected to bring significant changes to the work environment across industries. While automation and digitalization not only enhance productivity but also health and safety, they also pose new health risks such as isolation, technostress, and musculoskeletal disorders. The rise of remote work and platform labor necessitates strengthening social protections for workers' health rights. To ensure that technological progress leads to better worker health, proactive and comprehensive occupational health policies are essential. Cultivating interdisciplinary expertise in occupational health professionals is also crucial. Industrial hygienists can play a pivotal role in assessing and managing the health impacts of technological changes, as well as bridging the gap between innovation and worker well-being.

  • This study is about an observation, namely, the starting point of a role creation with playing a bridge role regarding the work of the role at the work with oneself in the actor training program of the stanislavsky school called the bible about the reenactment acting which is the most basic study of the performance, and in the circumstance of theatrical circles of Korea, which relatively have a lack of the research as mentioned earlier, it described the necessity, usefulness and types of the observation as well as methods of a stepwise observation. First of all, actors should capture observing targets suitable for a role in the play, and if the targets were captured, he needs to imitate and then learn it by using his own body In addition, it must go through the process of an extended application by an adjustment, an amplification, and the application depending on the circumstances of the role after understanding the principle of physical behavior. Also, in order to overcome the simple duplication of outward appearance, making it his own should be conducted through the process of learning it by body and identification by attempting empathy, and for become not the process of the observations which can be partially and fragmentarily finished but the whole acts handling the whole play, it requires the actors to continuously make efforts to create the role, designed to be appropriate for the role while comprehensively arranging each behavior of fragmented figures.

The Study on the Buttons (centering around 19th-20th Centuries) (단추에 관한 연구 -19, 20세기를 중심으로-)

  • The achievement of notable social reoforms attained during the period of 19th and 20th centuries needlessly speaking remodelded the social environmental into several different patterns such as :1) high industrialization 2) propensity to consume 3) up graded overall social stands. Accordingly the industrial world of the but-tons too established the mess production syhstem by breaking from convention of hand-craft work of 17th century. The raw materials used in the production line on buttons during the 20th century are almost all-kind of materials one can possibly named including cheap plastic which enabled production lines to produce cheaper but higher productivities of the buttons being produced, The design (incused design) used in the 19-20h centuries are : men landscape, sports features, birds, livestocks, bugs, or geomatric features, tec, 1, The classification o f the buttons by materials Techniques shapes colors marking (Incused design) used in the productionof buttons in the England United States of America Laska Italy france Denmark Japan and India are categolizzed as : natural raw materials and syntetical resines. 1) Of the natural raw materials used are : Matal Enamel Iodine Agate, Coral, Green jade(Jasper) Granite, Wood, Ivory, Horn and bone etc. 2) The sythetical resin used in the button in-dustries are : Artificial jewell glass Acrylic material Styroform Celluloid and Nylon etc. 2. The thecnique quoted in producing buttons are hand craft work inlay work precision casting press mosic dye etching, processing, engraving and embossed carving etc. 3. The major designs used in the buttons in -dustries are : Round shape however elliptical column angular and edge shape often used. 4. The colors used are : The multi-colors were highly used than mono-colored materials such as : Adjoining Color and Contrast Color. The highest consideration to be considered in choosing the colors for the buttons are harmonization and matching factor with the garment or dresses to be wore. 5. The major design(incused design) on the buttons are embodiment and the design were also used in order of abstractive-combination abstractive with has offers much surprising. The button industries during the 19th and 20th centuries were not only the determination factors those can judge the value of self-pride of Nation and which were far beyond the in-dustrial arts in those days but also highly refelected and influenced by cultural sense ideology and self-pride of the Nation of those period. The followings are details of the role of the buttons categolized in the order of functional ornamental and symbolical aspects : 1. The functional role : The functional role of the buttons were simply designed for dress how-ever the buttons beyond from this role of function now a days. 2. The ornamental role : The ornamental role of he button beyond from this role of the button were effectuated by : 1) shape materials colors 2) technique locations size and design (incused design) 3) The ramaterials used for buttons shall not be over looked because it is highly depends on the taste sense and combination of harmony with the garment to be wore. 4) The color of the buttons are made well contrasted with the color of garments just as in the case of other artistical area such as matchs with the color of garment of contrast with brigtness of colors contrasted as complementary color and so and so. 5) The technique being adoped are: precision casting press handcraft inlay work etching mosic etc,. Since the buttons are no longer a simple catching devise used to fasten together the different part of the dress but now it has formed own and occupied the independent role in the garment or dresses location can be de-termined and varying depending on the ideas of designers. The size of the buttons has no specific limits, However the variation has widely dependined on the entire circumperence rhythm contrast harmonization of the garments. 3. The symbolical role : Since the button is no longer a just a simple devise for catching and fastening device used fastening together the different part of the garments but now were built a independent area as major part of the Garment and well reflected all kinds of occupations political background cultural as-pect etc. on the buttons. The design of buttons in the western circles are more simplified but they are polished looks and their techniques of manufacturing are comination of both machanis and handcraft. The colors used in the buttons are pretty well harmonized with garment(dress). Almost all kind of materials can be used in the but-tons however materials used in the buttons are : Bone of livestocks ivory, turtle shell are no longer used because the prevention of cruely of animal. On the contraly the level of buttons indus-try of Korea is far to reach and catch up with the level of western circles. It is highly suggested therefore the but-tons industrial field of Republic of Korea shall place and encouragement in producing beter industrial environment of the buttons based on the traditional and cultural aspect of republic of Korea to produce both manufacturing of qulified and best designed and colored buttons.

The Effect of Leader Emotional Labor on Followers' Work Engagement : Examining the Role of Followers' PsyCap and Quality of LMX (리더의 감정노동이 부하의 직무몰입에 미치는 영향 : 심리적 자본과 상사-부하관계의 효과 연구)

  • Almost all research on emotional labor has focused on how services workers use emotional labor. However, this study examined that leaders' emotional labor influence follower's outcomes. Especially, this study tested how the leader emotional labor influence followers' work engagement and mediating role of PsyCap between leader emotional labor and followers' work engagement. In addition, this study investigated the quality of LMX as moderator the relationship between leader emotional labor and followers' work engagement. The SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 24.0 was used in this study. The results collected from 469 employees in domestic large Telecom and their related companies revealed that leader emotional labor positively influence followers' work engagement and PsyCap. Especially, leader deep acting and surface acting positively influence followers' work engagement, but not display of genuine emotion, and leader deep acting only positively influence followers' PsyCap. Furthermore, followers' PsyCap partially mediated the relationship between leader emotional labor and followers' work engagement. Finally, the quality of LMX as moderator in link between leader emotional labor and followers' work engagement showed when followers in high-quality LMX. Implication and suggestion for future study are discussed.

Modeling, Discovering, and Visualizing Workflow Performer-Role Affiliation Networking Knowledge

  • This paper formalizes a special type of social networking knowledge, which is called "workflow performer-role affiliation networking knowledge." A workflow model specifies execution sequences of the associated activities and their affiliated relationships with roles, performers, invoked-applications, and relevant data. In Particular, these affiliated relationships exhibit a stream of organizational work-sharing knowledge and utilize business process intelligence to explore resources allotting and planning knowledge concealed in the corresponding workflow model. In this paper, we particularly focus on the performer-role affiliation relationships and their implications as organizational and business process intelligence in workflow-driven organizations. We elaborate a series of theoretical formalisms and practical implementation for modeling, discovering, and visualizing workflow performer-role affiliation networking knowledge, and practical details as workflow performer-role affiliation knowledge representation, discovery, and visualization techniques. These theoretical concepts and practical algorithms are based upon information control net methodology for formally describing workflow models, and the affiliated knowledge eventually represents the various degrees of involvements and participations between a group of performers and a group of roles in a corresponding workflow model. Finally, we summarily describe the implications of the proposed affiliation networking knowledge as business process intelligence, and how worthwhile it is in discovering and visualizing the knowledge in workflow-driven organizations and enterprises that produce massively parallel interactions and large-scaled operational data collections through deploying and enacting massively parallel and large-scale workflow models.

An Exploratory Study of Korean Fathering I : Paternal Involvement and Children's Sex Role Orientation (아버지의 역할수행에 관한 탐색적 연구 I : 아버지의 역할참여와 아동의 성역할 지향)

  • Little is known about the relationship between fathers and their preadolescent children in Korea or about variations in fathering by SES and sex role orientation. The purpose of this exploratory research was to examine variation in contemporary Korean fathering (e.g., warmth of fathering, frequency of father involvement, and task share of father involvement) and its influence on children's sex role development. One hundred and twenty-nine fathers, mothers, and their 11-13-year-old children completed standardized survey questionnaires addressing their childrearing practices, parental role involvement, spousal support, and sex role orientations. Data were analyzed using MANOVAs, t-test, correlational analyses, and multiple regression analyses. Mothers reported more warmth in parenting than did fathers. Regardless of sex of child middle class fathers reported more warmth than lower class fathers and lower frequency of task share than lower class fathers. Regardless of SES, fathers with working wives reported higher levels of task share of involvement relative to their spouse. Fathers who were more frequently involved with their children tended to receive greater support from their wives for paternal involvement. There were no differences in parenting by sex of child nor was fathering associated with children's sex role orientation. Girls' femininity was related to fathers' masculinity. SES, maternal support, fathers' femininity, parents' education level, and maternal work status had predictive ability for the ecological view that fathering is a dynamic process predicted by personal characteristics as well as contextual factors.

  • The nature of work which is changing has increased the importance of HRD within organization. Also, these changes are making HRD shift its paradigm : from the segregated, closed, operational & administrative, dependent, utilitarian view to the integrative, open, strategic & facilitative, interdependent, generative view. The shifts of the perspective on HRD cause HRD professionals rethink the purpose and definition of HRD, and the role & competency needed to HRD in 21st century. The findings which are drawn through literature review and researcher’s intuition based on a long field experience are as follows. First, The function of HRD has recently been much more important then that of the past. Second, There is no consensus over the conceptual identity of HRD. Nonetheless, it is apparent that the preferred activities of the HRD function is performance improvement. Third, It is too difficult that we should define clearly the role & competency of HRD because of diverse perspectives on them. But we find much evidence converging to support the fact that the role & competency of HRD should be extended from the sole focus on training & development to adding the additional role & competency of change agent, who includes planning, implementing, and managing change.

  • In design education enhancement of design methodology and creativity can be stimulated through taking on several creative roles within an interactive and enjoyable studio course. To overcome blocks to creativity I developed a intermediate course, 'Furniture Design Studio I' at the sophomore advanced level course. Inventive thinking and a sense of aesthetic are the essential element for all studnets to grow as a professional designer. And to develop their creative thinking skill I introduced a system that utilizes each element into a role-playing type of projects. Students will be able to demonstrate their underlying creativity in a more open environment. Instead of stressing to solve a lot of complicate issues, the main focus is to allow freedom of expression and creativity. Role-playing are executed in a design studio environment rather than in a psychodrama situation. There are two different type of role-playing : Inventor and Designist (Designer + Artist). Students will be able to work in groups, incorporate problem solving into their projects and concentrate on more personal creative form developments. Through this process, students will enhance their problem solving abilities and broaden their scope for innovation. Thus increases the student's participation and creativity. Investigating the problems of domestic design education through these sort of special programs and developing systems that enhance creativity based on the results and the process methods.

A Study on the Transition of the Parental Role of Fathers Who Experienced Parental Leave (육아휴직을 경험한 아버지의 부모역할 전환에 관한 연구)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to explore the parental role that men experience during parental leave. From the moment when a man decides to take parental leave, to his experiences during parental leave, and to the father's role that lasts until after reinstatement, this course will be examined. Methods: The subjects of this study were five fathers who were taking parental leave. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews done on Zoom, telephone calls and e-mail. Results: The results are as follows. First, the motive for the father's decision to take parental leave was that he wanted to take a break from work and to spend time with his children. Second, the father had experiences of a caregiver and secure-base for his ones. Also, he experienced intergenerational transmission of his parental role. Third, the father's role was maintained even after parental leave. Conclusion/Implications: The decision to take parental leave was a process of conformation of one's own decision. The parental role of the father was experienced through daily life and interaction with his children. And that continued even after parental leave.
