Purpose: The aim of the study was to develop the Korean version of the Working Alliance Inventory (KWAI) and to assess reproducibility of both its therapist and client forms. Methods: The 12-item WAI was translated into Korean. The translation procedure followed the guidelines proposed by Beaton et al. (2000). Development of KWAI involved its translation, back-translation, and pilot testing of the pre-final version to establish Korean cultural adaptation of the original version of WAI. For test-retest reliability, therapists (N=30) and clients (N=47) completed the questionnaire on two different occasions. The interval between occasions was two to seven days, depending on subject availability. Data were collected from clinicians working in general hospitals and private clinics, and clients who had received treatment within three months. The intra-class correlation (ICC ($_{2.1}$)) was calculated for assessment of the reproducibility of the translated questionnaire. Results: The test-retest ICC ($_{2.1}$) of the client form and the therapist form was 0.92 (95%CI:0.86-0.95) and 0.94 (95%CI:0.89-0.97), respectively. Answers to items 2, 8, and 11 showed a tendency to be omitted due to ambiguity of meaning in Korean. Idiomatic expression was employed rather than word-to-word translation to have clear meaning of those items. Conclusion: The KWAI was successfully translated and adapted for applications to Korean clients and therapists, with a satisfactory level of reliability. Therefore, it can be suggested that the KWAI is useful in providing a reliable assessment of working alliance between therapists and clients.
This study aims to compare the performance of syllable identification task according to auditory and visual stimuli presentation methods and syllable position. Twenty-two typically developing children (age 4-6) participated in the study. Three-syllable words were used to identify the first syllable and the final syllable in each word with auditory and visual stimuli. For the auditory stimuli presentation, the researcher presented the test word only with oral speech. For the visual stimuli presentation, the test words were presented as a picture, and asked each child to choose appropriate pictures for the task. The results showed that when tasks were presented visually, the performances of phonological awareness were significantly higher than in presenting with auditory stimuli. Also, the performances of the first syllable identification were significantly higher than those of the last syllable identification. When phonological awareness task are presented by auditory stimuli, it is necessary to go through all the steps of the speech production process. Therefore, the phonological awareness performance by auditory stimuli may be low due to the weakness of the other stages in the speech production process. When phonological awareness tasks are presented using visual picture stimuli, it can be performed directly at the phonological representation stage without going through the peripheral auditory processing, phonological recognition, and motor programming. This study suggests that phonological awareness skills can be different depending on the methods of stimulus presentation and syllable position of the tasks. The comparison of performances between visual and auditory stimulus tasks will help identify where children may show weakness and vulnerability in speech production process.
This paper examines the perception of Korean phonemes by Egyptian learners of Korean and presents the learnability gradient of Korean consonants and vowels through High Variability Phonetic Training (HVPT). 50 Egyptian learners of Korean (27 low proficiency learners and 23 high proficiency learners) participated in 10 sessions of HVPT for Korean vowels, word initial and final consonants. Participants were tested on their identification ability of Korean vowels, word initial consonants, and syllable codas before and after the training. The results showed that both low and high proficiency groups did benefit from the training. Low proficiency learners showed a higher improvement rate than high proficiency learners. Based on the HVPT results, a learnability gradient was established to give insights into priorities in teaching Korean sounds to Egyptian learners.
Motivated by the fact that cluster reduction strategies such as inserting a vowel or deleting a consonant in resolving English complex clusters differ depending on studies, this paper investigates the repair strategies employed by Korean EFL students. A total of 60 college students participated in the present study and the participants' production of English voiceless word-initial and word-final clusters was measured using the materials designed for this study. It has been shown that prosodic positions such as onset and coda and the number of cluster sequences influenced cluster reduction strategies. The error rates of both insertion and deletion were noticeably higher in the coda position than in the onset position and both insertion and deletion error rates were higher in triconsonatal cluster than in biconsonantal cluster sequences. Overall, the insertion rate was higher than the deletion rate. However, the deletion rate was significantly higher than the insertion rate in triconsonantal coda cluster sequences. Because of this, the deletion rate was higher than the insertion rate for triconsonantal cluster sequences across onset and coda. Also, the high deletion rate of triconsonantal coda clusters contributed to the high deletion rate for the coda clusters in general.
This article does not deal with a theory or theories in the usual sense of the term but rather harks back to its etymological source, theorein ' to look at.' The phrase 'theory of language' thus purports a 'view of language' and does not carry the force of scientific explication of language. In fact, the word ' scientific' or 'science' per se originates from scire 'to know' and is here to be considered not so much in regard to some kind of positivistic methodology as a form of knowledge. If this exposition sounds unduly ingenious, that is because one is caught up in all kinds of presuppositions about the words under consideration. Sometimes, when we come to grips with an issue that strikes our mind as truly important, our language, by the light of which we hope to proceed safely, plays the will-o'-the-wisp instead and leaves us in the middle of a murky maze, twisting what was at first blush a mere cinch into a Gordian knot. On such occasions, etymology comes along the way and sends us back to itself as its own principle: Resort to etymos logos 'original, true word'! The main thrust of the present study is that alongside the quantitative, positivistic thought there is another equally valuable mode of qualitative and humanistic thinking that makes a whole gamut of new and concrete investigations possible, that an integrated theory of language is Possible by way of a happy amalgamation of diversified, humanistic views of language. With this idea as the leitmotif we explore two models of theory which typically set themselves up for a 'scientific' approach to language: analytic philosophy that delves into what it calls logical simples, and contemporary linguistics that stubbornly teeters around some formal rigor or other. It is argued that they are both characterized by a looking away from the fluid, ill-definable aspects of language, giving a preference to segments and isolated facts as a means to avoid those larger wholes and totalities which if they had to be seen would in the long run lead to an uncomfortable state of mind. Language, in the final analysis, is a Protean entity: so capricious and multifarious, and yet so noetic and prophetic, that we should catch sight of its picturesque images in their entirety to give form to an integrated theory of language.
The purpose of this study is to compare the potential effects of service quality measured in DA VINCI and STARBUCKS, which were local and overseas reputable takeout coffee shop brands respectively, upon customer satisfaction, revisit intention and word-of-mouth(WOM). In order to achieve the goal, a survey was conducted to total 230 customers who have ever visited and experienced coffee shops in Daegu metropolitan city, and valid and complete 217 copies of the questionnaire were used for the final data analysis. As a result, the determinant of customer satisfaction was coffee quality for STARBUCKS(n=94) while it included coffee quality, reliability and service attitude for DAVINCI(n=123). Respondents regarded coffee quality as the most important for revisit intention both in STARBUCKS and DAVINCI. Also, the determinants of WOM included coffee quality and reliability for STARBUCKS, and coffee quality and service attitude for DAVINCI. In addition, it was found that the path coefficient of service quality influencing both customer satisfaction and WOM proved to show partially significant difference between STARBUCKS and DAVINCI.

In this paper, we propose a technique for processing of speech recognition in korean words. Speech recognition is a technology that converts acoustic signals from sensors such as microphones into words or sentences. Most foreign languages have less difficulty in speech recognition. On the other hand, korean consists of vowels and bottom consonants, so it is inappropriate to use the letters obtained from the voice synthesis system. That improving the conventional structure speech recognition can the correct words recognition. In order to solve this problem, a new algorithm was added to the existing speech recognition structure to increase the speech recognition rate. Perform the preprocessing process of the word and then token the results. After combining the result processed in the Levenshtein distance algorithm and the hashing algorithm, the normalized words is output through the consonant comparison algorithm. The final result word is compared with the standardized table and output if it exists, registered in the table dose not exists. The experimental environment was developed by using a smartphone application. The proposed structure shows that the recognition rate is improved by 2% in standard language and 7% in dialect.
Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to present implications by analyzing research trends on smart factories by text analysis and visual analysis(Comprehensive/ Fields / Years-based) which are big data analyses, by collecting data based on previous studies on smart factories. Methods: For the collection of analysis data, deep learning was used in the integrated search on the Academic Research Information Service (www.riss.kr) to search for "SMART FACTORY" and "Smart Factory" as search terms, and the titles and Korean abstracts were scrapped out of the extracted paper and they are organize into EXCEL. For the final step, 739 papers derived were analyzed using the Rx64 4.0.2 program and Rstudio using text mining, one of the big data analysis techniques, and Word Cloud for visualization. Results: The results of this study are as follows; Smart factory research slowed down from 2005 to 2014, but until 2019, research increased rapidly. According to the analysis by fields, smart factories were studied in the order of engineering, social science, and complex science. There were many 'engineering' fields in the early stages of smart factories, and research was expanded to 'social science'. In particular, since 2015, it has been studied in various disciplines such as 'complex studies'. Overall, in keyword analysis, the keywords such as 'technology', 'data', and 'analysis' are most likely to appear, and it was analyzed that there were some differences by fields and years. Conclusion: Government support and expert support for smart factories should be activated, and researches on technology-based strategies are needed. In the future, it is necessary to take various approaches to smart factories. If researches are conducted in consideration of the environment or energy, it is judged that bigger implications can be presented.

The purpose of this study is to select keywords that can recommend books by personality type, and to test whether the chosen keywords can be actually used in the categorization and customized recommendation of books for each personality type. To achieve the research goal, this study chose books that match the level of fifth and sixth grade elementary school students and first grade middle school students and commissioned an expert group to categorize the books into groups that are preferred by each personality type. As a result of the classification, half of the books in which more than five experts agreed showed high consensus. In addition, the results of classifying books by personality type with keywords extracted by the automatic word extraction system by collecting the book review data of the selected books were similar to the results of the final judgement by the expert group, except for a few books. In conclusion, this study proved that it is possible to classify and recommend books that are likely to be preferred by different personality types using review keywords.

Multi-document refers to a document consisting of various topics, not a single topic, and a typical example is online reviews. There have been several attempts to summarize online reviews because of their vast amounts of information. However, collective summarization of reviews through existing summary models creates a problem of losing the various topics that make up the reviews. Therefore, in this paper, we present method to summarize the review with minimal loss of the topic. The proposed method classify reviews through processes such as preprocessing, importance evaluation, embedding substitution using BERT, and embedding clustering. Furthermore, the classified sentences generate the final summary using the trained Transformer summary model. The performance evaluation of the proposed model was compared by evaluating the existing summary model, seq2seq model, and the cosine similarity with the ROUGE score, and performed a high performance summary compared to the existing summary model.
