화상처리 및 무선네트워크를 이용한 무인 측정 지점에서의 원격 계측 자동화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Automatic Measurement at an Unmanned Measuring Station Using Image Processing and Wireless Networks)

  • An automatic measurement system which collects experimental data at an unmanned station where the networking to the internet could not be accessed was developed. With a Robo-rail accessing to the unmanned station, wireless local networking between server PC at the Rob-rail and client PC at the unmanned station is possible within 30 m from an access point equipment located at the unmanned station. An algorithm for transferring the data file which is saved in the client PC at the unmanned station to the server PC in the Robo-rail was proposed. IEEE-1394 camera was used to collect the data at the client PC. An extracting program from the IEEE-1394 captured images to character data and number data was developed using image processing technique, which drastically reduces the size of data file comparing to that of the raw image file.

  • It is possible to make a practical application for many services by using Home Networking. It's brings much improve the quality of our life. Remote control communication should be made by Home Network but present networks are generally using wireless Internet. But, this method don't use exist home and not install wireless internet. Because It need to many devices. Therefore, in this paper we implement gas valve remote control system using RPM(Radio Packet Modem). We can easily installing systems and operating. This system provide different solution for Home networking.

Sum-Rate Optimal Power Policies for Energy Harvesting Transmitters in an Interference Channel

  • This paper considers a two-user Gaussian interference channel with energy harvesting transmitters. Different than conventional battery powered wireless nodes, energy harvesting transmitters have to adapt transmission to availability of energy at a particular instant. In this setting, the optimal power allocation problem to maximize the sum throughput with a given deadline is formulated. The convergence of the proposed iterative coordinate descent method for the problem is proved and the short-term throughput maximizing offline power allocation policy is found. Examples for interference regions with known sum capacities are given with directional water-filling interpretations. Next, stochastic data arrivals are addressed. Finally, online and/or distributed near-optimal policies are proposed. Performance of the proposed algorithms are demonstrated through simulations.

  • 무선 센서 네트워크는 자원 제약적인 센서 노드들로 구성되는 네트워크로, 분산 서비스 거부 공격, 라우팅 공격 등 다양한 악의적인 공격이 발생될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 소프트웨어 정의 네트워킹 기술과 보안 기술을 융합하여 무선 센서 네트워크에 발생하는 다양한 공격을 탐지하고 방어하는 기법을 제안한다. 제안 기법에서는 서버에 있는 침입 탐지 및 방지 시스템이 SDN 컨트롤러를 통해 전달되는 오픈플로우 스위치의 로그 정보들을 축적하여 침입을 탐지하며, 침입을 탐지했을 때 오픈플로우 프로토콜을 이용하여 오픈플로우 스위치에 해당 침입에 대한 대응방안을 설정함으로써 침입을 방지할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 분산 서비스 거부 공격 및 라우팅 공격 발생 시 침입 탐지 및 방지를 보임으로써 제안기법의 타당성을 보였다. 제안기법은 다른 기법과 달리 중앙 집중 서버에서 그래프 모델과 침입 탐지 모델을 융합하여 효과적이고 메시지 효율적으로 다양한 침입을 탐지하고 방지할 수 있다.

  • 영구자석과 홀소자가 구비된 집게형 맥진기의 USB 연결방식은 맥파의 측정과 분석함에 있어서 어떤 오작동이 없이 우수한 재현성을 갖고 있었다. 맥파 데이터를 송수신하는 USB 연결 방식 대신 이더넷(Ethernet) 무선 랜(LAN) 방식을 이용한 맥파 데이터의 무선 네트워킹 시스템의 특성을 집게형 맥진기에 적용하였다. 영구자석과 홀센서를 이용한 집게형 맥진기의 기존 USB 연결방식을 이더넷과 무선 LAN(Wi-Fi) 방식을 접목시켜, 맥파 데이터를 무선 통신으로 송수신하는 네트워킹 시스템을 구현하였다. 무선송수신 모니터링 시스템은 근거리에서도 안정된 자세로 맥진을 하게 되어 환자의 정확한 맥파 데이터를 전달받는데 많은 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

Improving the Performance of Multi-Hop Wireless Networks by Selective Transmission Power Control

  • In a multi-hop wireless network, connectivity is determined by the link that is established by the receiving signal strength computed by subtracting the path loss from the transmission power. Two path loss models are commonly used in research, namely two-ray ground and shadow fading, which determine the receiving signal strength and affect the link quality. Link quality is one of the key factors that affect network performance. In general, network performance improves with better link quality in a wireless network. In this study, we measure the network connectivity and performance in a shadow fading path loss model, and our observation shows that both are severely degraded in this path loss model. To improve network performance, we propose power control schemes utilizing link quality to identify the set of nodes required to adjust the transmission power in order to improve the network throughput in both homogeneous and heterogeneous multi-hop wireless networks. Numerical studies to evaluate the proposed schemes are presented and compared.

Stochastic Optimization of Multipath TCP for Energy Minimization and Network Stability over Heterogeneous Wireless Network

  • Multipath Transport Control Protocol (MPTCP) is a transport layer protocol that enables multiple TCP connections across various paths. Due to path heterogeneity, it incurs more energy in a multipath wireless network. Recent work presents a set of approaches described in the literature to support systems for energy consumption in terms of their performance, objectives and address issues based on their design goals. The existing solutions mainly focused on the primary system model but did not discourse the overall system performance. Therefore, this paper capitalized a novel stochastically multipath scheduling scheme for data and path capacity variations. The scheduling problem formulated over MPTCP as a stochastic optimization, whose objective is to maximize the average throughput, avoid network congestion, and makes the system more stable with greater energy efficiency. To design an online algorithm that solves the formulated problem over the time slots by considering its mindrift-plus penalty form. The proposed solution was examined under extensive simulations to evaluate the anticipated stochastic optimized MPTCP (so-MPTCP) outcome and compared it with the base MPTCP and the energy-efficient MPTCP (eMPTCP) protocols. Simulation results justify the proposed algorithm's credibility by achieving remarkable improvements, higher throughput, reduced energy costs, and lower-end to end delay.

가시광 LED를 이용한 양방향 무선통신 시스템 연구 (A Study on the Duplex Wireless Communications Using LED Lighting)

  • 본 논문에서는 조명으로 사용되는 LED를 이용하여 실내 가시광 통신을 할 수 있는 시스템을 제안하고 있다. LED는 디지털 변조가 가능하므로 조명과 더불어 광무선 통신시스템으로 적용할 수 있다는 개념과 연구결과에 기인하여 기초연구를 수행하였다. LED는 고 휘도, 신뢰성, 저 전력 소비, 긴 수명의 장점을 가지므로 고 품질의 통신서비스를 제공하는 통신용 광원으로서도 적합하다. 본 연구에서는 오디오 전송을 위한 단방향 광무선 통신시스템과 텍스트 메시지를 전송하기 위한 양방향 통신시스템을 구현하여 통신 성능을 실험하였다. 이 실험결과는 실내 무선 환경을 지향하는 조명등의 내부회로로 설치될 수 있는 저가형 광통신 트랜시버의 구현이 가능함을 보여준다.

Facilitating Data Source Movement with Time-Division Access in Content-Centric Networking

  • Wireless communication offers the flexibility to the node movement at the spatial dimension more than the wire communication not only in IP architecture but also in Content-Centric Networking. Although it gives such advantage, the intra-domain movement of a node especially the data source node affects the communication to the access point node which in the end affects the acceptance ratio of the client node that requests the data packets from the data source node. In this paper, we use time-division access method to maintain the acceptance ratio of the client node as the effect of the intra-domain data source node movement in Content-Centric Networking. The simulation result shows that the acceptance ratio of the client node can be maintained using the time-division access method as long as the interval access time is less than the coherence time.
