  • The drawing information takes the most essential part of construction information. The management of construction information through drawing information facilitates input, output and search process, thus helping maximize the usage of construction information by effectively sharing construction experience and drawing information. This paper shows how construction information can effectively used to increase the productivity of the construction process as a whole. Construction information was extracted and classified by the elements of building which are the basic and very end components of building, to accumulate information of each construction phase. Based on the result, the Element Breakdown Structure(EBS) was developed for the practical usage of construction information integration.

  • Business forecasting is vital to the success of business. There has been an increasing demand for building business forecasting software system to assist human being to do forecasting. However, the uncertain and complex nature makes is a challenging work to analyze, design and implement software solutions for business forecasting. Traditional forecasting systems in which their models are trained based on small collection of historical data could not meet such challenges at the information explosion over the Internet. This paper presents an agent oriented business forecasting approach for building intelligent business forecasting software systems with high reusability. Although agents have been applied successfully to many application domains. little work has been reported to use the emerging agent oriented technology of this paper is that it explores how agent can be used to help human to manage various business forecasting processes in the whole business forecasting life cycle.

  • Information Technology (IT) makes a great contribution towards improvement of productivity in construction industry. Because most of researches of construction industry's IT are focused on the whole field of the industry or development of information system, however, these have no regard for conditions in fields. Thus, this study proposes the requirements in order to improve the productivity and efficiency of field execution of construction industry. To achieve this aim, the surveys are conducted of the problems and conditions of IT application on site workers and managers. As a result, the followings are suggested: (1) user training should be exercised continuously, (2) infrastructure of IT constructed, (3) total management system of field execution developed, and (4) the development of IT system focused on fields. Therefore, this study provides meaningful proposal that can be set up basic direction toward IT investment and IT system development.

  • According to the user recognizing, the propose of this study is to establish the systematic church-design and the plan of rational process. When the plan of church design is rational come out, the local community will be risen and there is the possibility which will raise the essential function of church construction and design. The results from the study are as follow. Firstly, the area of the front-window and the number of the external entrance are correlated with the accessibility of the building. Secondly, the height of a bell-tower is related with the feelings of a tediously and a intimate degree. Thirdly, the ground clearance of the whole surface is correlated with the church-character and the community formation of a local society.

  • In modern days when architectural materials have grave impacts on overall design expression, materials for architecture, modern architecture into the service facility for business, education, religion, cultural assembly and residence, and evaluates each finishing material mainly used in exterior, lobbies and entrances of the building since the 1970's. When being applied social images into firstly selected materials, the scopes for material selection will be more narrowed down in more practical way. High tensity materials are suitable for public and active space and low tensity are for private and static area. This principle enables us to use architectural materials as one of the important elements which express the whole characteristics of the area.

  • Deterioration of the educational facilities built before 1985 is a serious situation. The purpose of this study is to present the efficient remodeling method of old educational facilities. This paper, part III, presents the systemic and synthetic judgment method of deterioration grade of finished materials. Evaluation of the deterioration is carried out in every eight classrooms or building elements divided by the use. And classrooms are divided by several parts for example floor, wall and ceiling etc.. The whole deterioration of the building judges the result of every part collectively.

  • 출입 보안 시스템에서 과다한 이벤트 발생으로 인해 네트워크가 마비되는 경우가 종종 발생된다. 이때 이벤트 발생 원인을 분석하고 이를 대처하기 위해서는 많은 시간이 소요되며 그 시간동안 ACU와 출입보안 서버와의 연결이 끊어지게 되어 출입 현황 및 출입자 정보의 갱신 등을 실시간으로 처리할 수 없게 된다. 본 논문에서는 이벤트에 의한 정보폭주를 방지하기 위하여 분류알고리즘을 제안하였다.

  • Presently, the apartment house is being constructed by the very various methods. Among them, the formwork having the process rate of 60~70% of the whole construction work is most important. So this study was analyzed comparing euro-form with aluminium-form in the formwork. A case study is using euro-form and aluminum-form in the framework, inquiry into a similar case construction site of below the 20 floor. Then this case analyzed efficiency; construction period, construction cost, workability. Consequently, the aluminum-form is more effective than the euro-form in the construction site of below the 20 floor.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyse the attitude of Environmental Friendly Factors for proper environmental friendly model that is adapted to whole life-space. For this study, 25 factors were used from published thesis, reports, and news items. etc.. The results of this study are that our environmental problem is more serious than the world. The respondents prefer natural environmental friendly factors to artificial. Further study of environmental friendly planing will make rapid progress not only housing estates but other building for factory, entertainment establishment, and office building.

  • As being inconvenient to apply reinforced concrete structure to high-rise buildings, it is applied steel structured system. Therefore light-weight wall systems are applied as partition wall to reduce the self-load of the building. But, the required performances of a light-weight wall are not evaluated systematically. As a field survey result, partition walls of house-to-house were not showed their respected performances, so the dwellers are feel so worse the quality of the whole building. In steel-structured high-rise buildings especially, occupant's dissatisfaction concerned indoor noise was high because curtain wall systems having a high air-tight performance isolate the outdoor noise making masking effect. Therefore wall systems which have high performances of sound insulation and air-tightness are required in high-rise buildings. As a result, a new drywall system was presented and the performance was verified with field test.
