의료관광산업을 위한 메디컬리조트 이용의도 영향요인 (Influence Factors of Use Intention of Medical Resort for Medical Tourism Industry)

  • 본 연구에서는 의료관광산업을 위한 메디컬리조트의 발전방향과 정책적 시사점을 제공하고자 메디컬 리조트의 성공적 사례와 관련 서비스를 탐색하고 이를 유형화하여 메디컬리조트의 가치를 헤도닉 가치, 호스피탈리티 가치, 안전 및 개인정보보호 가치, 이익성 가치로 구분하였다. 메디컬리조트 이용경험자를 대상으로 이러한 메디컬리조트의 가치가 메디컬리조트에 대한 지각과 메디컬리조트 이용의도에 미치는 영향을 검증해보고자 하였다. 연구결과 메디컬리조트의 헤도닉 가치와 호스피탈리티 가치가 메디컬리조트에 대한 유용성 지각과 웰빙 지각에 강한 영향관계가 있는 것으로 파악되었으며, 메디컬리조트의 안전 및 개인정보보호 가치는 유용성 지각에만, 그리고 메디컬리조트의 이익성 가치는 웰빙 지각에만 영향관계가 있는 것으로 파악되었다. 또한 메디컬리조트에 대한 유용성 지각과 웰빙지각은 메디컬리조트 이용의도에 영향관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으며 특히, 메디컬리조트에 대한 웰빙지각의 경우 메디컬리조트 이용의도에 강한 영향관계를 보였다. 이상의 연구결과는 의료관광산업을 위한 메디컬리조트 관련 연구영역을 확장했다는 점과 함께 의료관광객의 편의와 요구에 부합하는 메디컬리조트 발전을 위한 유용한 시사점을 제공하였다는 점에 그 의의가 있다.

예비 유아교사의 낙관성에 따른 스트레스 지각과 사회적 지지가 주관적 안녕감에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Stress Perception and Social Support on Subjective Well-being According to the Optimism Levels of Pre-service Early Childhood Teachers)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of stress perception and social support on subjective well-being according to differing levels of optimism. The participants in this study were 230 pre-service early childhood teachers, majoring in early childhood education at two universities located in Daegu, Gyeongbuk province. The results of this study could be summarized as follows. First, pre-service early childhood teachers were shown to be more optimistic, be more satisfied with life, and had higher positive emotion rates than average. They also showed lower stress perception and negative emotion rates than average. Second, the highly optimistic group showed higher levels than the less optimistic group in terms of both satisfaction with life and positive emotions. Third, the stress perception in both the highly optimistic group and the less optimistic group had an impact on their satisfaction with life, positive emotions, and negative emotions. The degree of peer support perceived by the highly optimistic group showed an impact on satisfaction with life and negative emotions, whereas the degree of parental support perceived by the less optimistic group showed an impact on their levels of satisfaction with life.

Effects of Adult Children's Divorce on Parental Well-being, and Intergenerational Relationships: An Exploratory Study among Korean Families

  • Although the prevalence of divorce in South Korea has greatly increased since late 1990s, the impact of divorce on the parents of adult children in Korean families has received very little attention. This is particularly unfortunate because of the emphasis in Korean culture on family cohesion and obligations. To address these issues, we explored in our study the well-being of the parents of divorced adult children as well as intergenerational relationships among the members of Korean families. Total 113 parents participated (39 males and 74 females), age ranged from 46 to 65. Of the total participants surveyed, 29% were parents of divorced children (N=33), with the remainder having children in intact marriages (N=80). The measures examined four areas: (1) demographics, (2) parental psychological well-being, (3) intergeneration relationships, and (3) parental perception of their adult child's marital experience. A series of MANOVA and hierarchical regression analyses were conducted. Our findings indicate important differences between parents of divorced children and parents of non-divorced children on overall well-being, interpersonal relationships, and parental perception, which is consistent with previous studies. Parents of divorced children in this study also reported lower level of intergenerational relationships compared to parents of nondivorced children. Parent-grandchild relationships seem to be particularly important for parental well-being. In addition, we found an unexpected association between parents and their relationship with their former children inlaws. More detailed discussion was discussed.

럭셔리 레스토랑의 브랜드 명품화가 고객의 웰빙 지각도, 호의적 평가, 정서적 몰입 및 헌신적인 행위에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 브랜드 의식도의 조절 효과 (The Impact of Brand Prestige on Patrons' Perception of Well-Being, Favorable Inequity, Affective Commitment, and Dedicational Behaviors in Luxury Restaurants: The Moderating Role of Brand Consciousness)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 럭셔리 레스토랑의 브랜드 명품화가 고객의 웰빙 지각도, 호의적 평가, 감정적인 충성도, 그리고 헌신적인 행위에 미치는 영향을 고찰하는 것이다. 문헌 분석을 통하여, 제시된 마케팅 개념들간의 이론적 인과관계가 도출되었으며, 이를 바탕으로 11 개의 가설들이 도출되었다. 또한 이 과정에서, 고객들의 브랜드 의식도가 조절 변수로 작용할 수 있다는 이론적 가설이 제시되었다. 도출된 이론적 가설들을 종합하여 구조 모델이 도출되었으며, 이 개념적 모텔은 527명의 미국 럭셔리 레스토랑 고객을 대상으로 하여 수거된 데이터로 검증되었다. 데이터 분석에는 AMOS 6.0 버전이 사용되었으며, 데이터 분석 결과, 럭셔리 레스토랑의 브랜드 명품화는 고객의 웰빙 지각도와 호의적 평가에 긍정적으로 작용하여, 결국 두가지 헌신적 행위(enhancement와 advocacy)를 유도한다는 것이 밝혀졌다. 또한 이 과정에서 고객들의 브랜드 의식도는 조절 효과로 작용한다는 것이 검증되었다. 데이터 분석 결과를 바탕으로 하여 이론적 실무적 시사점들이 논의되었다.

The impact of leisure sports activities in older adults on wellness awareness, perceived freedom, and subjective well-being

  • The purpose of the study is to determine the relationship between leisure sports activities among the elderly, wellness awareness, perceived freedom, and subjective well-being. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, the study subjects were selected as the population aged 65 or older who lived in the Gwangju Metropolitan City area in 2022 and engaged in leisure sports activities. As for the sampling method, samples were extracted using cluster random sampling. A total of 300 people, 150 male and 150 female, were sampled. The survey tool was modified and supplemented according to this study based on the questionnaire that had been verified for reliability and validity in previous studies, and all questionnaire items were composed of a 5-point scale. The statistical analysis used for data analysis was frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS Windows 21.0 Version. First, it was found that the wellness perception of the elderly partially affects the perceived sense of freedom. Second, it was found that the wellness perception of the elderly partially affects psychological happiness. Third, the elderly's perceived sense of freedom was found to affect their subjective well-being. Considering these research results, in order to effectively improve the quality of life in old age, it is important to promote physical, mental, emotional, and social relationships through nature-friendly sports activities to improve subjective life motivation, satisfaction, and happiness. It can be said that it increases the sense of well-being.

A Study on the Impact of Perceived Regulations for Sales at Super-Supermarket and Discount Store on Consumers' Shopping Value and Subjective Well-Being

  • Purpose - This study focused on consumers' perception about regulations for sales enforced by national and local governments in Korea. The study examined the relationship between perceived regulatory restrictions and subjective well-being (SWB), and perceived regulatory restrictions and shopping value, respectively. Research Design, Data, and Methodology - Data were collected from 135 college students and consumers in Gyeonggi Province to verify the relationships, moderating effects, and mediating effects, thus testing the theoretical model and its hypotheses. Results - First, consumers' positive perception of regulatory restrictions enabled enhancement of their SWB. Second, consumers' positive perception of regulatory restrictions had no significant positive influence on hedonic value but had a significant positive influence on utilitarian value. Third, utilitarian value exhibited a full mediating effect on the relationship between regulatory restrictions and SWB. Conclusion - This study showed that consumers' positive win-win attitude is based on social norms. Further, we expect that consumers experiencing discomfort due to regulatory restrictions resolve this by going to other distributors. Finally, to increase distributors' competitiveness and consumers' utilitarian value, it is suggested that distributors require a variety of marketing strategies.

외국인의 한식에 대한 웰빙가치 인식과 체험이 한식의 세계화에 미치는 효과 분석 (The Effects of Korean Food Globalization on Foreigners' Perception of Wellbeing Value and Experience with Korean Food)

  • This study was conducted to examine the effect of globalization of Korean food according to well-being value perception and the foreign visitor Korean food experience. An analysis of variance and a linear regression analysis were conducted to analyze the hypotheses. The findings are summarized as follows: (1) The most important quality when eating Korean food was "taste" (37.3%). (2) The most important well-being value recognition items for Korean food were "kimchi" and "bulgogi". "Bibimbap is well-being food" (3.82 points) and "Korean food is healthy because it consists mainly of cereals and vegetables" (3.56 points). (3) The subjects highly recognized the "improvement in service quality of Korean restaurants" (3.59 points) with regard to the importance of a globalization strategy for Korean food. (4) High-intake Korean foods were "bibimbap", "baechookimchi", "galbigui", "pajeon", and "bulgogi", in that order. In contrast, the intake frequency for "songpeon", "sikhei", and "guksu" was very low. (5) The subjects thought that the globalization possibility for Korean food was high, as foreigners ingested a lot of baechookimchi. (6) The most effective well-being value recognition item for globalizing Korean food was "Korean food is nutritious and good for the health" followed by "I have much interest in Korean well-being food". and "Korean food is a well-being food because it contains many fermented and seasonal items", in that order. (7) The most effective food for globalizing Korean food with a high-intake frequency was "baechookimchi", followed by "galbigui", "guksu", and "bibimbap".

공과대학 여학생의 전공만족과 심리적 안녕감과의 관계 탐색 (Exploring the Relationships between Major Satisfaction and Psychological Well-being of Female Engineering Students)

  • This research aims to examine the relationship between major satisfaction and psychological well-being of female engineering students. To achieve this goal, first, differences in major satisfaction and psychological well-being among engineering students were examined. Second, differences in major satisfaction and psychological well-being among female undergraduate students were investigated. In addition, the effects of psychological well-being, as perceived by undergraduate students by gender and major, on major satisfaction were explored. A total of three hundred and forty-nine (349) undergraduate students from two universities in Korea responded to survey based on a two-variables scale. The findings were that, firstly, male engineering students scored higher in two variables including their most sub-factors, and that gender differences in relation satisfaction as well as positive relationship with others, autonomy, and environmental mastery were statistically significant. Secondly, female engineering students scored higher in major satisfaction and several sub-factors of two variables, and that major differences in major satisfaction (total), social perception satisfaction, and autonomy - a sub-factor of psychological well-being - were statistically significant. Thirdly, a positive correlation among major satisfaction and psychological well-being was identified. Finally, psychological well-being could explain about 19% of major satisfaction. The practical implications of these findings are discussed herein, with attention on education for promotion of major satisfaction.

주관적 안녕감과 정서가가 있는 사건에 대한 기억: 긍정적인 사건을 인식하는 비율과 기억 재구성의 관계 (Subjective Well-Being and Memory of Valenced Life Events: The Relationship between Perception Ratio and Memory Reconstruction of Positive Events)

  • 본 연구는 주관적 안녕감이 긍정적인 사건을 인식하는 비율과 나아가 기억을 재구성하는 인지적 과정에 있어서 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보기 위해 시행되었다. 199명의 학부생들이 일상적으로 일어날법한 긍정적인 사건과 부정적인 사건 40개를 기술한 문장들을 본 후 이에 대한 회상 과제와 재인 과제를 수행하였다. 먼저 사건을 기술한 문장을 본 후 긍정적인 사건과 부정적인 사건에 대한 비율을 응답하게 한 결과, 삶에 대한 만족도가 높은 참가자들이 긍정적인 문장의 비율이 월등히 높은 조건에서 긍정적인 사건의 비율을 실제보다 더 높게 보고하였으며, 또한 긍정적인 비율이 높은 조건에서 주관적 안녕감이 높은 참가자들은 긍정적인 문장을 더 많이 회상했다. 참가자들이 처음 보고한 긍정적인 사건의 비율과 실제 회상한 기억들 중 긍정적인 사건의 비율은 정적인 상관을 가졌다. 그러나 예상과는 달리 재인 과제에서는 참가자들은 주관적 안녕감 수준에 따라 유의미하게 차이나는 오류를 보이지 않았다. 마지막으로 이 연구의 이론적 함의와 후속 연구를 위한 제언이 논의되었다.

화학물질 유해성에 대한 작업자와 관리자들의 인식 (Perception of Workers and Managers for the Chemical Hazard)

  • Objectives: In chemical hazard communication, information receiver's perception is a important factor, but the study on the perception was few. Therefore, this study evaluated the perception of managers and workers group about chemical hazard communication by chemical hazard communication tools that were being used in fields. Methods: 91 managers and 238 workers were surveyed in two companies where use chemicals. All subjects were asked about the comprehensibility and perception for MSDS and GHS Pictograms being used in their workplaces through face-to-face interviews. Results: Most of the respondents knew MSDS, and more than half of the respondents had used MSDS once or more per year. The level of use to find the information on chemicals with MSDS was higher in the managers in comparison with workers. Also, the managers could understand and find the information on MSDS easier(p < 0.05). In the question asking the meaning of GHS Pictograms, the managers responded more correctly, as well(p < 0.05). 86.8% of the managers and 62.6% of the workers were conscious of the possible health hazards of chemicals that they could be exposed at work. However, among the respondents conscious of the health hazards, only less than 70% were well aware of the contents of the health hazards correctly. Conclusions: In chemical hazard communication, it is very important to evaluate whether information receiver have proper and correct knowledge and perception or not and actions based on the evaluations as well as provide correct information.
