가중치감소 신경망의 자동학습에 관한 연구 (A Study on Automatic Learning of Weight Decay Neural Network)

  • 신경망은 점차 분류 및 함수추정을 위한 현대 통계적 방법론으로 부각되고 있다. 신경망은 특히 선형 회귀함수를 일반화시키는 유연한(flexible) 방법을 제공하며 일반적 비선형 함수를 모수화하는 방법으로 간주된다. 본 논문에서는 함수추정을 위한 신경망을 생각한다. 신경망이 훈련자료를 과대적합하는 것을 피할 수 있도록 하는 간단한 방법은 정칙화(regularization)이다. 신경망에서는 정칙화를 위해 주로 가중치 감소법(weight decay method)을 사용한다. 함수추정을 위해 가중치감소 신경망을 사용할 때 은닉노드수, 가중치모수, 학습률 및 학습반복회수가 중요한 모수이다. 본 논문에서는 유전자 알고리즘을 사용하여 가중치감소 신경망의 중요한 모수들을 자동으로 최적화하는 방법을 제안하고 결과적으로 가중치감소 신경망을 자동학습하는 방법을 설명한다. 그리고 다른 함수추정방법들과 자동학습된 가중치감소 신경망을 비교분석한다.

Statistical models from weigh-in-motion data

  • This paper aims at formulating various statistical models for the study of a ten year Weigh-in-Motion (WIM) data collected from various WIM stations in Hong Kong. In order to study the bridge live load model it is important to determine the mathematical distributions of different load affecting parameters such as gross vehicle weights, axle weights, axle spacings, average daily number of trucks etc. Each of the above parameters is analyzed by various stochastic processes in order to obtain the mathematical distributions and the Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE) method is adopted to calculate the statistical parameters, expected values and standard deviations from the given samples of data. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov (K-S) method of approach is used to check the suitability of the statistical model selected for the particular parameter and the Monte Carlo method is used to simulate the distributions of maximum value stochastic processes of a series of given stochastic processes. Using the statistical analysis approach the maximum value of gross vehicle weight and axle weight in bridge design life has been determined and the distribution functions of these parameters are obtained under both free-flowing traffic and dense traffic status. The maximum value of bending moments and shears for wide range of simple spans are obtained by extrapolation. It has been observed that the obtained maximum values of the gross vehicle weight and axle weight from this study are very close to their legal limitations of Hong Kong which are 42 tonnes for gross weight and 10 tonnes for axle weight.

여성의 출산 후 체중변화와 생활양식 (Body Weight Changes and Lifestyle in Women within 1 year after Childbirth)

  • Purpose: Gestational weight gain and prepregnancy body weight are important factors of childbirth outcomes, which further cause obesity, metabolic diseases, or psychological problems later in women's lives. Changes in diet, westernized lifestyle, traditional postpartum care, and childbirth at older age are thought to be threats to proper weight management in Korean women of reproductive age. Public health and antenatal care need to focus on the proper body weight management of women by carefully planning pregnancy to postpartum periods. Purpose: This study explored the body weight changes from pregnancy to postpartum and the related characteristics in women within 12 months after childbirth. Methods: A cross-sectional, retrospective study was conducted with 102 Korean women within 12 months after childbirth. Data were collected using an online survey system, and a structured questionnaire available for electronic self-administration was modified to include demographics, obstetrical history, and body weight at 6 time points. The International Physical Activity Questionnaire and Eating Habit Measurement instruments were also used in data collection. A professional survey agency recruited the participants, and data were automatically saved and then analyzed. Results: The average age of the participants was 33.8 years, 48% were housewives and were well-educated. Seventy-two percent of the participants were primiparas and 82% had breastfed their babies. The body mass index (BMI) ranged from 17.3 to 27.8, indicating that 21.5% of the participants were overweight or obese. The mean gestational weight gain was 11.8 kg, and weight loss was apparent during the first 3 months postpartum. The mean decline in weight was 3.4 kg at one year after childbirth. Women wanted to lose 5.6 kg (range: 3~20 kg), however 44% of them reported that they had not engaged in any weight control efforts. Further, 72% of them reported having engaged in a low level of physical activity. Body weight was not associated with women's characteristics, physical activity score, and diet. Conclusion: Women's awareness of gestational weight gain, lifestyle modification, and the risk of prolonged weight retention should be promoted through the antenatal and women's healthcare systems. As pregnancy and childbirth are critical events that affect women's health, integrative education to ensure healthy transition to life after delivery is required.

경제능력 검정성적을 기초로 한 산란계의 생산성 향상도 추정 연구 (Studies on the Estimation of Productivity Improvement of Layer on the Basis of Random Sample Test)

  • 본 연구는 대한양계협회의 1966연부터 1988연의 21회에 걸친 경제능력검정 성적을 이용하여 난용계 전체의 산란능력 개선과 유색계와 백색유를 구분하여 산란능력이 어느 방향으로 개선되었는가를 분석함으로서 앞으로의 육종방향을 설정하는데 도움이 될 수 있는 자료를 제공하기 위해 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 측정한 형질은 육성률, 성계생존율, 성성숙일영, 산란율, 산란지수, 난중, 사료요구율, 500일영 체중이다. 이상의 얻어진 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 육성률은 80연대 평균 99.4%이다. 유색계의 80년대 평균은 99.5% 백색계는 99.06%로 유색계가 우수하였다. 성계생존율은 연간 0.98%의 증가가 있어 왔으며 유색계 백색계 모두 연간 0.86%의 증가가 있어왔다. 2. 성성숙일영은 60연대 171.2일에서 70연대는 160.8일로 연간 1. 1일의 개선이 있었으나 80연대 162.4일로 오히려 증가했다. 백색계는 70년대 160.5일에서 80년대 159.5일로 미미한 개선이 있었고 유색계는 70연대 163.7일에서 80연대 166.1 일로 증가했다. 3. 산란율은 연간 0.96%의 증가로 80년대 평균 76.94%이다. 유색계의 경우 연간 1.09%의 증가로 80연대 평균 76.51%이고 백색계의 경우연간 0.63%로 80연대 평균 77.45%이다. 4. 산란지수 연간 4.5개씩 증가하여 80연대 평균 265.1개이다. 유색계는 연간 5.37개씩 증가하여 80년대 평균 264.97개이다. 백색계는 년간 4.23개씩 증가하여 80년대 평균265.5개이다. 5. 난중은 연간 0.22g 씩 증가하였다. 유색계는 0.25g 씩 증가하였으며 백색계는 0.03g 씩 감소하였다. 6. 사료요구양은 매년 0.04 개선되었고 백색계는 0.05의 개선이 유색계는 0.1의 개선이 있었다. 7. 500일영 체중은 매년 6.38g 씩 증가하였고 유색계는 14.95 g씩 감소했으며 백색계는 10.37g 씩 감소하였다. 8. 전체성적 백색계 유색계에서 성성숙일영과 산란율의 상관관계는 각각 - 0.4512, -0.0358, 0.0989이며 산란지수와는 -0.2876, -0.1530, 0.1181, 난중과는 -0.4347, 0.3475, 0.2885, 500일영 체중과는 0.2045, 0.1208, 0.2248로 추정되었다. 산란율과 난중과의 관계는 0.6233, -0.2259, 0.2973, 500일영 체중과는 0.2417, 0.0774, - 0.4787로 추정되었다. 산란지수와 난중과의 관계는 0.6171, -0.2706, 0.4579, 500일영 체중과의 관계 0.3082, -0.0792, -0.3368로 추정하였다. 난중과 500일영 체중과의 관계는 0.2742, 0.2205, 0.1354로 추정되었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 내장형 밸런스에 가해지는 모형중량성분의 보상을 위해 초기하중의 전이를 고려한 weight tare 계산방안을 제시하였다. 만약, 이러한 초기하중의 영향을 고려하지 않고 공력하중 데이터에 밸런스 교정관계식을 그대로 적용한다면 공력하중 전체에 걸쳐서 오차가 발생하게 된다. 본 계산방안의 신뢰성 검증을 위해 계산중량과 실측중량간의 비교 평가와 초기하중의 영향에 대한 평가를 수행하였다.

Anonymizing Graphs Against Weight-based Attacks with Community Preservation

  • The increasing popularity of graph data, such as social and online communities, has initiated a prolific research area in knowledge discovery and data mining. As more real-world graphs are released publicly, there is growing concern about privacy breaching for the entities involved. An adversary may reveal identities of individuals in a published graph, with the topological structure and/or basic graph properties as background knowledge. Many previous studies addressing such attacks as identity disclosure, however, concentrate on preserving privacy in simple graph data only. In this paper, we consider the identity disclosure problem in weighted graphs. The motivation is that, a weighted graph can introduce much more unique information than its simple version, which makes the disclosure easier. We first formalize a general anonymization model to deal with weight-based attacks. Then two concrete attacks are discussed based on weight properties of a graph, including the sum and the set of adjacent weights for each vertex. We also propose a complete solution for the weight anonymization problem to prevent a graph from both attacks. In addition, we also investigate the impact of the proposed methods on community detection, a very popular application in the graph mining field. Our approaches are efficient and practical, and have been validated by extensive experiments on both synthetic and real-world datasets.

Power analysis attack resilient block cipher implementation based on 1-of-4 data encoding

  • Side-channel attacks pose an inevitable challenge to the implementation of cryptographic algorithms, and it is important to mitigate them. This work identifies a novel data encoding technique based on 1-of-4 codes to resist differential power analysis attacks, which is the most investigated category of side-channel attacks. The four code words of the 1-of-4 codes, namely (0001, 0010, 1000, and 0100), are split into two sets: set-0 and set-1. Using a select signal, the data processed in hardware is switched between the two encoding sets alternately such that the Hamming weight and Hamming distance are equalized. As a case study, the proposed technique is validated for the NIST standard AES-128 cipher. The proposed technique resists differential power analysis performed using statistical methods, namely correlation, mutual information, difference of means, and Welch's t-test based on the Hamming weight and distance models. The experimental results show that the proposed countermeasure has an area overhead of 2.3× with no performance degradation comparatively.

사출성형공정에서 CAE 기반 품질 데이터와 실험 데이터의 통합 학습을 통한 인공지능 품질 예측 모델 구축에 대한 연구 (A study on the construction of the quality prediction model by artificial neural intelligence through integrated learning of CAE-based data and experimental data in the injection molding process)

  • In this study, an artificial neural network model was constructed to convert CAE analysis data into similar experimental data. In the analysis and experiment, the injection molding data for 50 conditions were acquired through the design of experiment and random selection method. The injection molding conditions and the weight, height, and diameter of the product derived from CAE results were used as the input parameters for learning of the convert model. Also the product qualities of experimental results were used as the output parameters for learning of the convert model. The accuracy of the convert model showed RMSE values of 0.06g, 0.03mm, and 0.03mm in weight, height, and diameter, respectively. As the next step, additional randomly selected conditions were created and CAE analysis was performed. Then, the additional CAE analysis data were converted to similar experimental data through the conversion model. An artificial neural network model was constructed to predict the quality of injection molded product by using converted similar experimental data and injection molding experiment data. The injection molding conditions were used as input parameters for learning of the predicted model and weight, height, and diameter of the product were used as output parameters for learning. As a result of evaluating the performance of the prediction model, the predicted weight, height, and diameter showed RMSE values of 0.11g, 0.03mm, and 0.05mm and in terms of quality criteria of the target product, all of them showed accurate results satisfying the criteria range.

A350 모델의 비행실적을 이용한 중량 효과 검증 (Verification of Weight Effect Using Actual Flight Data of A350 Model)

  • 항공기 중량은 성능 및 연료효율성에 영향을 미치는 중요한 요소이다. 항공기의 개념 설계 단계에서는 요소 중량을 추정함에 중량 당 연료소모 비용과 같은 경험식을 이용하여 비용과 중량 간의 균형을 맞추는 과정을 수행한다. 또한, 항공사에서 항공기를 운용할 때 중량관리 활동을 통해 연료 효율성 향상 및 연료절감과 탄소저감을 추진한다. 항공기 중량 변화와 연료 소모 변화 사이의 연관성을 중량비용(Cost of Weight)이라고 하며, 중량비용은 항공기에 중량 추가 혹은 감소가 연료소모에 미치는 영향을 평가함에 사용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존 중량비용 산정 방법의 문제점을 확인하고, 이를 해결하기 위한 새로운 방법의 중량비용 산정 방법을 소개한다. Breguet의 Range Formula와 A350-900 항공기의 실제 비행 데이터를 이용하여 이륙중량과 착륙중량 기반의 두 가지 중량비용을 산정한다. 결론에서는 이륙중량과 착륙중량 기반의 중량비용을 다른 용도로 사용함이 합리적임을 제시하였다. 특히, 착륙중량 기반의 중량비용은 유사 항공기 개념설계 단계에서 요소중량 추정 및 비용과 중량 최적화에 하나의 경험식으로 활용할 수 있다.

Suggesting Coping Strategies for the Various Stresses from Body Weight in Korean Males -A Qualitative Approach-

  • This study investigates coping strategies of overweight or underweight males in Korea. For this purpose, the authors identify types of stress related to weight management. A qualitative method was utilized to collect the data related to successful weight management experiences of males aged 20-37 years. Data were analyzed based on a motivation theory of coping, which suggests coping strategy elements. The results of this study identified the stress related to weight: dissatisfaction with appearance, others' disapproval of appearance, health problems, weaker athletic ability, negative self-perception, passiveness about appearance, lower romantic attractiveness, others' disapproval of lower romantic attractiveness, weakened task execution capability, and negative stereo-types about task execution capability. In addition, six coping strategies were suggested: improved appearance, improved physical function, improved positive self-perception, more choices to improve appearance, enhanced romantic relationship, and enhanced job performance. This study shows that weight problems in modern society are diverse and complex. Therefore a man who has abnormal weight needs to clarify his stress first and then proposes strategies that are appropriate for each type of stress.
