A Design and Implementation of a Windows Visual System for the Monitoring of Red Tide on the Internet (인터넷을 통한 적조 관측용 윈도우 비주얼 시스템의 설계 및 구현)

  • The amount of damage suffered from the red tide occurring at the near shore is increasing rapidly. The Windows visual system discussed in this paper is developed in order to help minimize the damage. The system is focused on the monitoring the coastal environment. and forecasting the red tide occurrence. Although several similar systems are now existing. most of them are based on the web application. which cause the large response time. limited presentation ability of data. and inability of data storing at client side. The Windows visual system described in this paper operates on the Internet to get the ubiquitous access. One of three components of the Windows visual system. client system is developed as a Windows application in order to overcome the weak points of the previous systems. The gathering. analysis, and monitoring of data can be done at real time using the Windows visual system.

  • In this paper, we intend to implement system of the automation of foul/waste water disposal plant by using processed sensor data. We designed the model of communication system based on wireless indoor environment, implemented monitoring and control system based on IP. In the implemented monitoring system, it is possible to control and monitor through not only PC but also smart device(tablet PC, smart phone) anywhere, if WEB is connected.

Embedded controller as the hard core is consisted of 32 bit CPU and is designed to have processing of real time monitoring and FFT.   • In this study, a smart motor control and monitoring system is developed with an embedded board where Intel PXA255B CPU is mounted. Linux is ported into the embedded board as RTOS(Real Time Operating System), and the environment which communicate with a motor driver through serial protocol and is capable of controlling and monitoring the motor in real time is built in the system. A user friendly GUI is developed for the convenient operation of the system. Also, the environment which is able to control and monitor the motor driver remotely is built in the system using TCP/IP protocol.

  • Home security has become the prime concern for everyone in present scenario. In this work an attempt has been made to develop a home security system which is accessible, affordable and yet effective.The proposed system is based on 'Remote Embedded Control System' (RECS) which works both on the web and gsm platform for authentication and monitoring. This system is therefore cost effective as it relies on existing network infrastructure. As PCA is most popular and efficient algorithm for face recognition, it has been usedin this work. Next to it an interface has been developed for communication purpose in the embedded security system through the ZigBee module. Based on this embedded system, automated control of door movement has been implemented through electromagnetic door lock technology. This helps the users to monitor the real-time activities through web services/SMS. The web service consists of either web browser command or e-mail provision. The system establishes the communication between the system and authenticated user. The e-mail received by the system from the authorized person will monitor and control the real-time operation and door lock. The entire control system is reinforced using ARM1176JZF-S microcontroller and tested for actual use in the home environment. The result shows the experimental verification of the proposed system.

  • This paper presents monitoring system based on IEC61400-25 for 750kW-class DFIG wind power generation system. It consists of wind turbine PLC, Local and Remote I/O Server, human machine interface, and Web-server. Proposed System has been demonstrated in Daegi-ri, Kangwon-do, which aims to test IEC61400-25 communication capability of monitoring system and evaluate the performance of 750kW-class WTS.

  • We face problems from excessive information served with websites in this rapidly changing information era. We find little information useful and much useless and spend a lot of time to select information needed. Many websites including search engines use web crawling in order to make data updated. Web crawling is usually used to generate copies of all the pages of visited sites. Search engines index the pages for faster searching. With regard to data collection for wholesale and order information changing in realtime, the keyword-oriented web data collection is not adequate. The alternative for selective collection of web information in realtime has not been suggested. In this paper, we propose a method of collecting information of restricted web sites by using Web crawling distributed monitoring system (R-WCMS) and estimating collection time through detailed analysis of data and storing them in parallel system. Experimental results show that web site information retrieval is applied to the proposed model, reducing the time of 15-17%.

  • Today, The development of a system to manage and monitor obesity has emerged thus as obesity increases. However, most of the monitoring system will only serve to show information of the user only has to calculate the height and weight, Since there is a problem that the user is a low efficiency when the design plan for the movement. In this paper, Express a numerical value of the BMI of the user in a graph and BMR divided into grades users were easy to understand for himself. In addition to design an exercise plan by showing Kcal he has used a number of days of consumption exercise machines used to study the efficient web-based monitoring system.
