This work attempts to implement multiple regression analysis (MRA) for modeling and predicting the shear buckling strength of a steel beam with corrugated web. It was recognized from theoretical and experimental results that the shear buckling strength of a steel beam with corrugated web is complicated and affected by several parameters. A model that predicts the shear strength of a steel beam with corrugated web with reasonable accuracy was sought. To that end, a total of 93 experimental data points were collected from different sources. Then mathematical models for the key response parameter (shear buckling strength of a steel beam with corrugated web) were established via MRA in terms of different input geometric, loading and materials parameters. Results indicate that, with a minimal processing of data, MRA could accurately predict the shear buckling strength of a steel beam with corrugated web within a 95% confidence interval, having an $R^2$ value of 0.93 and passing the F- and t-tests.

This study has developed Web-based, Automated Lesson Planner System for teachers to make out and make use of lesson plans using ICT(Information ＆ Communication Technology). First, web-based lesson planner system has been developed to make teachers possible to make and use lesson plans on the web. Second, the database of electronic lesson planner system has been designed and established according to Korean curriculum and form of teaching-loaming lesson plan using ICT. Third, the system embodied making out a lesson plan easily and operating all ICT materials together. Last, the system was applied to the real elementary school fields and the efficiency and improvements were analyzed. This lesson planner system made database of all ICT materials and lesson plans, so that it can manage and control all lesson plans systematically. Also, the lesson plans and ICT materials are connected together, so the database can be a dynamic content storage. The construction of this system established maximization of share, use and storage of teaching-learning lesson plans. It will be popularize in real education fields and made a contribution to the school informatization.

Sixteen provincial Research Institute of Education and Science(RISE) in the country have provided good qualified multimedia educational materials that was produced by some special skilled teachers to elementary, middle and high school teachers using web services. And moreover KERIS and KICE have also produced educational materials and have a plan to integrate distributed multimedia educational materials that RISE produced. The development of KERIS's KEM metadata in 2001 and the making of educational material metadata of RISE is the first step of integration plan. These metadata can be used to make integration plan possible. But before taking integration plan, the study of how to integrate and manage it should be performed. Therefore, this paper introduces the technique of XML web service and JDBC with 3-tier system as the method of integrate distributed educational material metadata. The evaluation shows these two methods have similar response time with MS SQL Server 2000 and Oracle 9i. Thus, we conclude that JDBC and XML web service can be the proper solution to search XML-formatted metadata.

We have fabricated and evaluated a new Si pin photodiode for red light detection with the web patterned $p^{+}$ -shallow diffused region in the light absorbing area. From the measurements of electro-optical characteristics under the bias of -5V, the junction capacitance of 4pF and the dark current of 235pA were obtained. When the 1.6㎼ optical power with peak wavelength of 670nm was incident on the device, the optical signal current of 0.48$\mu\textrm{A}$ and the responsivity of 0.30A/W were obtained. The fabricated device showed the improved sensitivity compared to the conventional circular type device and the maximum spectral response in a spectrum of 670~700nm. The web-patterned Si photodiode can be expected to have the good discrimination characteristics between digital signals in the application of red light optics.

The purpose of this study is to introduce the web database for healthy city Wonju that contains healthy city indicators and materials. It has provided diverse information to public officers who are working on healthy city projects and citizens for monitoring and evaluating the projects, effectively. The web database was made on 2006 and was updated on 2009. The new Web database system was designed for supporting that the staffs of healthy city can manage all data update by themselves. The new Web database encompasses more recent information about health city projects. After identifying users' needs and reasons for modifying the fields of data, we added new indicators to the Web database. Some redundant indicators were deleted based on users' requests. The Web database quality evaluations were performed by using 13 quality evaluations constructs. Through all 13 constructs, less than 20% of study subjects felt that it did not satisfy their needs or expectations. Well developed and verified contents of the Web database for healthy city are very essential and important. The database makes healthy city projects alive by managing and sharing healthy city related data and indicators effectively.

Global climate change becomes one of the most serious environmental problems over the world. There is growing recognition thai climate change education, especially for children is important. However, there have been few programmes, curricula, teachers' training chances, and teaching-learning materials for climate change education so far. Therefore, we analyse the world wide web(web) contents in Korea which are available for climate change education, providing fundamental data in developing educational contents for climate change, as well as helping users to search appropriate contents for climate change education. Subjects for this study are 10 web sites of public institutions related to climate change in Korea. The web contents are evaluated in terms of diversity, accuracy, authenticity and the ease of use. The key finding in this study is that the majority of the contents are focused on how to respond to the problem, especially mitigation and also we find that most of the web sites provide text-types of lesson plan and video-types. Consequently, it would be necessary to develop various web contents for climate change education in both quality and quantity aspects.

Indium tin oxide, which is used as transparent conducting layer in flexible device, is deposited on PET film by a magnetron sputtering in 300 mm wide roll-to-roll process (vacuum web coating). Sheet resistance, specific resistance and transmittance is differed by sputtering parameters such as working pressures, oxygen partial pressure, and thickness of ITO layer. ITO layer is deposited about 90 nm at roll speed of 0.24 m/min and its sputtering power is 3 kW. From the XRD spectrum deposited ITO layer is verified as amorphous. Under working pressure varied from $3{\times}10^{-4}\;Torr$ to $2{\times}10^{-3}\;Torr$, sheet resistance is lowest at the working pressure of $1{\times}10^{-3}\;Torr$ and its value is from $110\;{\Omega}/{\square}$ to $260\;{\Omega}/{\square}$ at the thickness of 90 nm. Oxygen partial pressure also varies sheet resistance and is optimized at the regime from 0.2% ($1.8{\times}10^{-6}\;Torr$) to 0.6% ($6{\times}10^{-6}\;Torr$). In this oxygen partial pressure sheet resistance is lower than $150\;{\Omega}/{\square}$. As ITO layer thickness increases, sheet resistance decreases down to $21\;{\Omega}/{\square}$ and specific resistance is about $7.5{\times}10.4{\Omega}cm$ in 340 nm thickness ITO layer. Transmittance is measured at the wavelength of 550 nm and is about 90% for 180 nm thickness ITO/PET.

BOM(Bill of Materials) is a listing or description of raw materials, parts, and assemblies that define a product. In manufacturing companies that produce various products with short life cycles, it is very important to manage the BOM of products with various options and versions efficiently. BOM information should be required to share among the departments of engineering, production control, material purchasing, cost management, and shop floor within a manufacturing company. In order to share BOM information efficiently, information system based on WWW(World Wide Web) should be developed. Thus, this paper models and implements Web-based Generic BOM Management System (WGBMS) for management of a number of variant products which are consisted of standard parts under ATO(Assemble To Order) production environment. Also, object-oriented methodology was used to model a generic BOM and phases of navigational design and interface design were introduced to implement the prototype of WGBMS. And Object-Relational Database Management System (ORDBMS) was used to construct the WGBMS database.

Among interactive dynamic geometry softwares, Cinderella has some merits on the accuracy of algorithms and compatibility with internet. In this paper we compare dynamic geometry softwares such as GSP, Cabri II, Cinderella briefly and we design a web based interactive learning materials using the exercise editor of Cinderella and some Java applets, and we propose a web based interactive teaching and learning model in which achievement test can be given by the clickings on the help icon.

For this purpose, most of all, we thought over the theoretical background for the application of Web-resources to the teaching and learning program at the school mathematics. Second, we looked into the applied class and the class pattern with the internet. And then, we arranged the cases using the internet web materials. The last, we mentioned what the matters of learning based on the web are and what the teacher's roles are.
