While most researches for cyber counseling until now have been about counseling methods and the effects that teenagers utilize cyber counseling, there have been no efforts that store counseling contents, analyze them using features and technologies of web and use them effectively to guide students. Therefore, we propose a cyber counseling system that provides counseling information so that teacher may grasp students various interests and problems and thus helps to guide students. For this, we used XML. Since XML document can systematically create a structured information and represent a structure with meaningful information unit than the existing file-based information, it can be effectively used to manage, search and store documents. Thus, we implement a cyber counseling system using XML, which can effectively manage and represent the various analysis information of counseling.

The purposes of this study were to provide basic visitor information for effective park management and to understand visitors' perception about the interpretive media which is utilized as a self-guide environmental interpretation in Weolchusan National Park. To accomplish the purposes of study, a questionnaire survey was chosen and the 196 valid samples among them were analyzed. Among who used the interpretive media, the largest proportion used the information board of park use-resources, and the usage rate of interpretive label of woody plant, interpretive sign of cultural asset, and self-guide tour were shown to be relatively high. However, the park brochures(map), bulletin boards, park web sites, LED sign, and visitor center exhibits were evaluated that use efficiency was low. In the analysis of importance-performance, visitors were perceiving the importance of all form of interpretive media greatly. The performance of interpretive media was also evaluated as affirmative.

Generally, dynamic hand gesture recognition is formed through preprocessing step, hand tracking step and hand shape detection step. In this paper, we present advanced dynamic hand gesture recognizing method that improves performance in preprocessing step and hand shape detection step. In preprocessing step, we remove noise fast by using dynamic table and detect skin color exactly on complex background for controling skin color range in skin color detection method using YCbCr color space. Especially, we increase recognizing speed in hand shape detection step through detecting Start Image and Stop Image, that are elements of dynamic hand gesture recognizing, using Guideline. Guideline is edge of input hand image and hand shape for comparing. We perform various experiments with nine web-cam video clips that are separated to complex background and simple background for dynamic hand gesture recognition method in the paper. The result of experiment shows similar recognition ratio but high recognition speed, low cpu usage, low memory usage than recognition method using learning exercise.

In the field of number and operation of mathematics, a learner's learning deficit in one year can disturb or obstruct his or her learning in the following year, which is an obvious characteristic in math education. But the problem doesn't stop here. It may increase poor learning in the related math field or, in a serious case, cause mathematical learning incompetence. In the other hand, a teacher must guide a class of about 40 students and take charge of overburdensome routine; it's really impossible for him or her to secure individual teaching time for poor learners and to give lessons considering their individual poor learning elements. In order to solve these problems, this study has found out some poor learning elements from poor learners in teaching mathematical number and operation, offered learning fit for them, and allowed them to approach a learning system regardless of time and space. And it has embodied a web-based learning system for operation field underachiever in elementary school, applied it to the scene of education, and analyzed the results so that a teacher may manage their learning results by DB and guide poor learners systematically. As a consequence, the study could reduce a teacher's teaching overburden and at the same time, raise the learning accomplishments of poor learners.

In this paper, two color contrast evaluation algorithms, W3C and NSSC algorithms are compared and investigated to select proper criteria of the color contrast of text-background color combinations in web documents. The relationship between the color contrast defined by existing formula and the readability rating is not perfect and there is quite a bit of variance, in particular, there is some substantial outlier. I modify the NSSC algorithm to apply all colors and compare the two algorithms to apply same color combinations of web safe colors. A new algorithm considering color temperature feeling as a component of the color contrast is proposed and implemented. As the results of this study, the existing two algorithms are not contradictory to each other, 82% of all color combinations of web safe colors are not proper combinations according to W3C guide which provide severe restriction to select colors in web documents compared to NSSC algorithm. Experimental test shows proposed algorithm is superior to the W3C algorithm with respect to the linearity of relationship between color contrast and readability rating. It means a color temperature feeling is an effective component of a color contrast. But to determine best contribution ratio of the color temperature feeling, further study is required and it is related to Hangul font style and size. The more popular a mobile color display is used, the more important accessibility factor a color contrast will be.

Recently enterprises, which posses high-speed internet and high-performance computers, have tried to use MIS(management information systems) to deal with whole task efficiently. This study considers design of menu navigation using SNA(social network analysis) to be able to move between menus of MIS efficiently. We extracted the important menu lists through the high SNA measures such as degree centrality, betweenness centrality and closeness centrality, developed web-pages and investigated its application. The findings will be used for design of web menu navigation and guide of strategic planning for MIS.

Sound equipment has developed rapidly as digital technology has quickly matured. Due to this fact, the necessary knowledge and skills are new. Moreover, improvements in digital surrealism in acoustical modeling have increased the challenges facing future audio engineers. Therefore, the necessity of Instruction in the use of sound equipment is needed for the specialist and amateur, alike. However, it is not easy to loam all kinds of sound equipment and systems which are upgraded often. It is necessary to offer a virtual environment that accurately simulates the manipulation and experiences of new sound recording technologies. The purpose of this study was to design a web based virtual operating system for sound equipment technologies which guide user to learn basic principles of usage and production techniques. The virtual simulation system was designed to aggressively implement an actual equipments so that user manipulation will accurately reflect current equipment usage and behavior.

The trend of the web is moving from portal-centered to user-centered, and RIA(rich internet application) is considered best solution for usability and functionality of the next generation web. But the lack of reference document or technical guide for RIA implementation is a big obstacle for extension of RIA environment to practical business engineer or user. In this paper, I will suggest the implementation conceptand reference site for user-centered environment based on RIA concept. The suggested concept support wire/wireless environment, and use the e-mail that is already used by many company or portal. The contents of this paper will be very helpful to the practical engineer or portal/company that want to use or implement about RIA environment.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to provide a basis for non-humidified low flow oxygen by nasal cannula and to provide a guide for consistent care in nursing practice. Methods: A methodological study on the development of guidelines with experts' opinions on collected items, framing PICO questions, evaluating and synthesizing texts which were searched with the key words (low flow oxygen, nasal cannula, humidification of oxygen, guideline) from web search engines. Results: Of the 45 researched texts on the web, 9 texts relevant to the theme were synthesized and evaluated. All patients with humidified or non-humidified oxygen therapy reported that they had no discomfort. Conclusion: The results indicate that there are no tangible grounds for patients' perceived differences between the humidified and non-humidified oxygen under 4L/min supplied by nasal cannula. with oxygen. Therefore, non-humidification oxygen therapy is strongly advised when suppling under 4L/min oxygen by nasal cannula (recommended grade A).

Due to the advance of scholarly communication, the field of open access has been studied over the last decade. The purpose of this study is to analyze and demonstrate the field of open access via co-word analysis. The data set was collected from Web of Science citation database during the period from January 1998 to July 2012 using the Topic category. A total of 479 journal articles were retrieved and 8,643 noun keywords were extracted from the titles and abstracts. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, network analysis, clustering analysis and multidimensional scaling mapping were used to examine the domain and the sub-domains of open access field. 18 clusters in the network analysis are recognized and 4 clusters are shown in the map of multidimensional scaling. In addition, the centrality analysis in the weighted networks was used to explore the significant keywords in this field. The results of this study are expected to demonstrate and guide the intellectual structure and new approaches of open access field.
