  • In case of field weakening region torque is directly affected by flux. In this region the flux reference is decreased inversely proportional to the rotor speed. As the flux is decreased the magnetizing inductance is normally increased. The increased magnetizing inductance limited voltage for controlling current. In this paper, measuring q axis voltage in field weakening region magnetizing inductance in flux calculating can be readjusted. Computer simulation and experiment results demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed method. Proposed algorithm is expected to the application of the adjustable drive system in the spinning and weaving field.

  • This study is focused on the characteristics of organization types of activity diagrams for experimental residential design. Diagrams became one of the crucial design methods to rationally generate a definite spatial form that contains indefinite human activities In contemporary architecture. Particularly in residential design, activity diagrams based on the occupants' behavioral patterns have been critically important. 'Scientific Management in the Home' by mathematical calculation and the Archigram's 'Living 1990' equipped with innovative technologies are the representative examples in modern architecture. The study is focused on the experimental residential projects since 2000 and three main types of activity organization were discovered: 'Weaving through Circulation';'Flexible Space by Equipment' and 'Activity Selection by Open-Close System'. Two projects from each type are analyzed in detail to further develop the comparison study. The study is concluded that, although the architect's preconceived . philosophical background has an important role, activity organization should smoothly derive from the unique conditions of the project such as the characteristic of the occupant itself.

  • When we look at the pattern techniques of wooden furniture in the 19th century Joeson Dynasty, we see that furniture patterns in the main living room were showy and colorful while furniture patterns in the library room, where noble men used to study, were natural and moderate, retaining the actual color of the material without any artificial coloring. Even the serial patterns in the Hwe-Jang technique, Which were used rarely, used moderate techniques. such as weaving in patterns with colorless woods - willow and black persimmon ets. - rather than using excessive techniques. However, considering the marquetry&intarsia technique of ceramic and the silver string intarsia technique of metal then current, wood work must also have been technically advanced. Korean modern wood furniture needs remedies to improve the standard of sound wood work techniques. This study shows that pattern unit production, composition techniques, and color effects etc. Using colored patterns bars, by improving the pattern composition techniques of Marquetry&Intarsia, can be substituted for the production logic of modern manufactured furniture.

  • An arc sensor system to compensate positional errors was developed on the foundation of sensor interface system to make use of the on-line shift function of industrial welding robot. Investigating the on-line shift function, we examine the quantitative relationship between the deviation from programmed path and the correction data transferred from personal computer to robot controller. The number of input parameters for weld seam tracking can be reduced by making the relationship between the deviation and the correction data during half weaving be the function of only cross time. With the results of weld seam tracking for the butt joint with V-groove and fillet joint of sheet metal, good performance was implemented. By developing the sensor interface system to compensate the positional errors, industrial welding robot can be expected to contribute to the promotion of welding automation.

  • In this study, the five harness satins are weaved in rapier loom and air-jet loom each using the pure wool Nm 2/72, also the physical characteristics of fabrics that are produced in these weaving machinery in same condition are measured by using the KES-FB system. The results of analysis and comparison on each fabric are presented by classifying items, that is to say, the tensile, bending properties. The results we as follows ; The extensibility of grey fabric woven by rapier in the weft direction is larger than that by air-jet loom. The variation of bending property of grey fabric woven by rapier in the weft direction is more irregular than that by air-jet loom. However, these properties are similar both rapier and air jet fabrics.

  • This study surveys the tension differences between Textec and Vamatex looms and analyses fabric mechanical properties using KES-FB system according to warp and weft tension differences. Fabric is designed as 5 harness satin weave using 150d/48f warp and 200d/384f weft polyester filaments, and is woven by $Omega^{\circledR$-Panter rapier loom by Textec Co.Ltd and P1001es rapier loom by Vamatex Co.Ltd., respectively. These grey fabrics are processed on the same dyeing and finishing processes. Weavability is also analysed by measuring warp tension variation according to the warp position. The relationship between shed amount and the warp tension on one fixed heald frame is surveyed, and the relationship between end breaks and warp and weft tensions is also discussed.

  • The family Araneidae is a group of orb-weaving spiders and is one of the most diverse groups among the order Araneae. Eighty-one species belonging to 25 genera have been recorded in Korea to date. In this study, four araneid spiders in three genera, viz., Araneus mayumiae, Araneus ogatai, Cyclosa onoi, and Plebs baotianmanensis, were discovered for the first time in Korea. Additionally, Plebs yebongsanensis is removed from synonymy of Plebs sachalinensis, and treated as a new junior synonym of P. baotianmanensis, based on a morphological comparison of females of three Plebs species. Detailed descriptions of four species are provided with accompanying photographs.

  • Araneidae Clerck, 1757 is one of the largest families within the order Araneae Clerck, 1757, comprising 3,065 species in 177 genera. To date, two species of the genus Mengora O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1889 and four species of the genus Araniella Chamberlin & Ivie, 1942 have been recorded in Korea. During a seasonal survey of the spider fauna in mountainous terrain conducted from 2018 to 2019, females of Mangora foliosa Zhu & Yin, 1998 and a male of Araniella robusta sp. nov. were collected with a sweep net between shrubs in mixed forests from Mt. Juwangsan National Park. In this paper, we provide a diagnosis of the new species and descriptions including measurements and morphological illustrations. The new species, Araniella robusta sp. nov., can be easily distinguished from other species in the genus Araniella Chamberlin & Ivie, 1942 by a branched conductor with two blunt tips and conjugation of the embolus tip and terminal apophysis.

  • Heidegger's speculation on "Disclosure" makes it possible to know on image expression fundamentally. "Disclosure" means that the 'earth' and the 'world' are not fixed into one, but harmonize dynamically with each other under continuous mutual tension and mutual support. When they are well-weaved with each other, the two ways are collectively defined as "disclosure Image". In regard to the technique, the study analyzed 'allegory' and 'reactivation'. The former refers to showing image potentially, while the latter means embodying and revealing image apparently. Le Corbusier's late Architecture provides a simultaneous reactivation of various images through continuous cross-weaving rather than being inclined to either the earth or the world.

  • This study was conducted to identify various habits of stable vices and its occurring frequency in racing horses, currently managed in Korea, through categorizing the total 1,386 head of racing horses in Seoul Racing Park into sex, age and years of stabling. Among the 1,386 horses, 524 heads(37.8%) have shown habits of stable vices and its appearances rate according to each category is as following; While 40.7% of stallions showed the highest appearances rate of stable vices by sex, it was 50%, 44.2%, and 53% for the age of 2, 6 and 4, respectively by age, it was 41%, 40.6% and 39.1% for the years of stabling of 2, 4 and 3, respectively. For the appearances rate of individual stable vices, 7.0% of mares showed the highest appearances rate of ‘kicking at walls’, 12.9% of stallions showed ‘biting habit’ and 5.7% of castrated horses showed ‘weaving’ when grouped by sex. According to age, 8.3%, and 6.1% of horses of age 2 showed ‘kicking at walls’, ‘wind-sucking’ and ‘pawing’, respectively while 4.9% of horses of age 3 showed ‘pawing’, 6.4% of horses of age 4 showed ‘kicking at walls’, 6.8% of horses of age 5 showed ‘kicking at walls’ and ‘biting habit’ and 8.7% of horses of age 6 showed ‘weaving’ and ‘biting habit’. By the year of stabling, 6% of horses for 1 year had ‘pawing habit’, 7% og horses for 2 years had ‘kicking at walls’, 7.4% of horses for 3 years had ‘biting habit’ and it was 6.9% and 10.6% for ‘weaving’ for 4 and 5 years of stabling, respectively. In conclusion, the racing horses in Korea seemed to show high rate of appearance rate of stable vices and it is considered to be necessary to improve stable equipments and management skills to reduce the appearance rate of stable vices.
