The Karman boundary-layer has been numerically investigated for the disturbance wave number, wave velocity, azimuth angle and radius (Reynolds number, Re). The disturbed flow over rotating disk can lead to transition at a much lower Re than that of the well-known Type I instability. This early transition is due to the excitation of the Type II. Presented are the neutral stability results concerning these instabilities by solving newly formulated stability equations with consideration of whole convective terms. When the present numerical results are compared with the previously known results, the value of critical Re corresponding to Type I is moved from ${Re}_{c.1}$=285.3 to 270.2 and the value corresponding to Type II from ${Re}_{c.2}$=69.4 to 36.9, respectively. Also, the corresponding wave number is moved fro)m $k_1$=0.378 to 0.386 for Type I; from $k_2$=0.279 to 0.385 for Type II. For Type II, the upped limit of wave number and azimuth angle is $k_u$=0.5872, $\varepsilon_u$=$-17.5^{\circ}$, while its lower limit is near $k_u$=0, $\varepsilon_u$=$-28.4^{\circ}$. This implies that the disturbances will be relatively fast amplified at small Re and within narrow bands of wave number compared with the previous results.

The Karman boundary-layer, has been numerically investigated for the disturbance wave number, wave velocity, azimuth angle and radius (Reynolds number, Re). The disturbed flow over rotating disk can lead to transition at a much lower Re than that of the well-known Type 1 mode of instability. This early transition is due to the excitation of the Type II mode. Presented are the neutral stability results concerning these modes by solving new formulated vorticity equations with consideration of whole convective terms. When the present numerical results are compared with the previously known results, the value of critical Re corresponding to Type I is moved from Rec,! =285.3 to 270.2 and the value corresponding to Type II is from $Re_{c,2}$=69.4 to 36.9, respectively. Also, the corresponding wave number is moved from $k_1$ =0.378 to $k_1$ =0.389 for Type I; from $k_2$ =0.279 to $k_2$=0.385 for Type II. For Type II, the upper limit of wave number and azimuth angle is $k_U$=0.5872,$varepsilon_U=-18^{\circ}$ , while its lower limit is$k_L$ =0.05, $varepsilon_L=-27^{\circ}$ This implies that the disturbances will be relatively fast amplified at small Re and within narrow bands of wave number compared with the previous results.
Photons generated via spontaneous parametric down-conversion (SPDC) have broad spectrums and suffer from dispersive broadening of the temporal wave packets when they are transmitted through dispersive media. In this paper we theoretically and experimentally study the detailed amount of the temporal broadening of the two-photon wave packets generated via both type-I and type-II SPDC with ${\beta}-BaB_2O_4$ of various lengths, by transmitting them through optical fibers. We interpret the results with respect to the spectral properties of the two-photon wave packets. We believe that our results will contribute to implementing protocols involving long-range distributions of photon pairs.
The present paper investigates the propagation of Love-type wave in a composite structure comprised of imperfectly bonded piezoelectric layer with lower fiber-reinforced half-space with rectangular shaped irregularity at the common interface. Closed-form expression of phase velocity of Love-type wave propagating in the composite structure has been deduced analytically for electrically open and short conditions. Some special cases of the problem have also been studied. It has been found that the obtained results are in well-agreement to the Classical Love wave equation. Significant effects of various parameters viz. irregularity parameter, flexibility imperfectness parameter and viscoelastic imperfectness parameter associated with complex common interface, dielectric constant and piezoelectric coefficient on phase velocity of Love-type wave has been reported. Numerical computations and graphical illustrations have been carried out to demonstrate the deduced results for various cases. Moreover, comparative study has been performed to unravel the effects of the presence of reinforcement and piezoelectricity in the composite structure and also to analyze the existence of irregularity and imperfectness at the common interface of composite structure in context of the present problem which serves as a salient feature of the present study.
PURPOSES: It is important to consider the long-term performance of concrete pavement, because concrete pavement is more exposed to the various environmental conditions than any other concrete structures. One of the several methods to evaluate the long-term performance of concrete during winter is KS F 2456. Relative dynamic modulus of elasticity shows the resistance to freezing and thawing. METHODS: To measure relative dynamic modulus of elasticity, ultra sonic is generally used. But in this study, to measure the relative dynamic modulus of elasticity, both ultra sonic and shear wave were used and then compared each other. RESULTS: The results from the measurement by ultrasonic wave and shear wave were divided into three types. Type 1 : Specimens are good and relative dynamic modulus of elasticity did not decrease until 300 cycle. Type 2 : The relative dynamic modulus of elasticity decreased from the late cycle.(about 150 cycle later) Type 3 : The relative dynamic modulus of elasticity consistently decreased from the beginning. As a result of ANOVA, there is no difference according to measuring method, in type 2 and 3. But there is a difference according to measuring method, in type 1's relative dynamic modulus of elasticity. CONCLUSIONS: It is proved that shear wave can be used to understand the damage tendency of relative freezing and thawing and to measure the relative dynamic modulus of elasticity.

In this study, the three sounds effects on subjects due to EEG type, and it researched to find optimal sound to increase their amenity and productivity. EEG and HRV were compared and analyzed in the environmental test room by classifying subjects into two type: A and B. The condition of the environmental test room was in temperature $31[^{\circ}C]$, relative humidity 50[RH%], air current speed 0.02[m/s] and illuminance 1000[lux] with setting up three different sounds which are U type sound, V type sound and Z type sound. The result of this study, at U type sound for A and B type, relative $M{\alpha}$ wave, relative $M{\beta}$ wave and SEF50 were revitalized. Also at Z type sound for A and B type, stress index, fatigue degree and HRT were decreased and SDNN was revitalized. Therefore U type sound is very effective to increase amenity, productivity and concentration, and Z type sound is very effective to decrease stress and fatigue degree.

A segment of the wave board has been expressed as a submerged line segment in the two dimensional wave flume. The lower end of the line segment could be extended to the bottom of the wave flume and the other opposite upper end of the board could be extended to the free surface. It is assumed that the motion of the wave board could be defined by the sinusoidal motion in horizontal direction on either end of the wave board. When the amplitude of sinusoidal motion of the wave board on lower and upper end are equal, the wave board motion could express the horizontally oscillating submerged segment of piston type wave generator. The submerged segment of flap type wave generator also could be expressed by taking the motion amplitude differently for the either end of the board. The pivot point of the segment motion could play a role of hinge point of the flap type wave generator. Simplified analytic solution of oscillating submerged wave board segment in water of finite depth has been derived through the first order perturbation method at two dimensional domain. The case study of the analytic solution has been carried out and it is found out that the solution could be utilized for the design of wave generator with arbitrary shape by linear superposition.
In this paper, a numerical model to analyze the performance of a vertical slit-type wave absorber is developed under the assumption of inviscid water waves. The formulation combines the linear potential theory with a semi-empirical description of the eddy-shedding at a slit-type wave absorber. We investigated the reflection coefficients over a wide frequency range for a vertical slit-type wave absorber both with and without a solid rear wall. Model test was conducted at KRISO' s two dimensional wave tank to validate the theoretical results. It is found that the agreement between theoretical results and experimental data is surprisingly good. We found that the wave absorbing system using a vertical slit plate has sufficient potentials for breakwaters for ocean development.
This paper deals with an implementation method for the one chip microprocessor(8097)-based capacitance type wave recorder for a measuring real-time wave height. The system was developed to make it possible to real-time remote sensing the wave height by deploying the RS-232/422/485 communication methods. The system test results for the developed system such as linearity, system stability and robustness of the disturbance was also verified through the performance tests of the system. Furthermore, the system was developed after due consideration with connecting the public network such as satellite mobile communication system and LAN, through the deploying VLSI(Very Large Scale Integration) design techniques.

In this paper, the superposition of ultrasonic signals which were generated by multi-source in a transformer was presented. For analysis of ultrasonic superposition, V$_{peak-peak}$ and pulse number of ultra-sonic signal were used. As a result, the wave form of ultrasonic superposition was classified into three types ; First type was the wave form whose V$_{peak-peak}$ was increased by the superposition of each signal's V$_{peak-peak}$. Second type was wave form whose V$_{peak-peak}$ was decreased by the superposition of each signal's V$_{peak-peak}$. And the other type was wave form whose peals were two or mere. And V$_{peak-peak}$ of superposed ultrasonic wave wads mostlv increased or decreased and pulse number of supe게osed u1trasonic wave was mostly increased.y increased.
