용체화처리 온도 및 시효 시간이 다른 Incoloy 825의 탄성파 특성 (Elastic Wave Characteristics of Incoloy 825 with Different Solution Treatment Temperature and Aging Time)

  • This study was evaluated the elastic wave properties according to tension of Incoloy 825 alloy with different solution treatment temperature and aging time. Solution treatment was carried out at 700, 800, 900, and 1000 ℃ for 1 hour, and aging was carried out at 700 ℃ for 1, 5, 10, and 30 hours. As the solution treatment temperature increased, the tensile strength decreased and the elongation increased. However, as the aging time increased, the tensile strength increased and the elongation decreased. The dominant frequency decreased as the solution treatment temperature increased, but increased as the aging time increased. The dominant frequency according to the solution treatment and aging time increased as the tensile strength increased, but increased despite the decrease in elongation.

Pressure pain threshold and visual analogue scale changes in the high and low energy extracorporeal shock wave

  • Objective: This study aims to investigate high energy and low energy extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) and which one is more effective for shoulder pain. Design: Single blind randomized controlled trial. Methods: Fifty two subjects with upper trapezius (UT) trigger point (TrP) participated in this study. They were allocated to high energy (n=26) and low energy group (n=26). This study applies ESWT and investigates the changes of pressure pain threshold (PPT) and visual analogue scale (VAS). The high and low energy groups received focused piezo electric type ESWT 4 Hz, 1,000 pulses and 0.351 and $0.092mJ/mm^2$ respectively. Outcome measures of PPT and pain was measured by algometer and pain VAS. These measurements were performed before and after treatment. Results: The PPT value was significantly increased in both groups after treatment (p<0.05) and VAS scores were significantly decreased after treatment in both groups (p<0.05). However, there were no significant differences between groups. Conclusions: ESWT is an effective treatment for the application of the UT TrP. Although there were significant effects of extracorporeal shock wave therapy on PPT and VAS scores, there were no signficant differences between high and low energy extracorporeal shock wave therapy.

Anti-inflammatory Effects of Low-frequency Stimulator using Superposition of Alternating Microcurrent Wave in the Animal Models

  • Treatment techniques that affect homeostasis by non-invasive regulation in peripheral organs will advance disease research. Here, we demonstrate a non-invasive method of conditioning within an organ using a low-frequency stimulator superposition of alternating microcurrent wave in stages. It is first applied to the inflammatory response in H3N2-infected sinusitis mice. To check the progress of the treatment, mice were sacrificed every week for 3 weeks, nasal tissue was removed, and the inflammatory response was investigated through H & E staining. The low-frequency stimulation treatment group was found to alleviate the proliferation of epithelial cells and invasion of inflammatory cells compared to the control group as the passage of treatment time. The reduction of inflammatory cytokines in the nasal lavage fluid was observed in H3N2-infected sinusitis mice treated with of low-frequency stimulation using superposition of alternating microcurrent wave compared to H3N2-infected sinusitis mice after 3 weeks. These data demonstrate that low-frequency stimulation device in the form of using alternating current wave superposition on within organs provides a new method to regulate specific physiological functions. Therefore, it is necessary to prove the inhibitory effect of low-frequency stimulation using alternating current wave superposition on inflammatory diseases by various methods through further studies and clinical studies.

자성 페라이트 용사피막의 전자파 차폐 특성 (Electromagnetic Wave Shield Characteristics of Thermal Sprayed Ferrite Coatings)

  • In these days, many advanced nations have enforced import restrictions against things emitting electromagnetic wave which has report that it is so harmful. In general, electromagnetic wave is composed of electric wave and magnetic wave. The reflection of electromagnetic wave is mainly reflected by conductive materials and the magnetism loss is generated by magnetic ferrite. The magnetism loss of ferrite is separated by eddy current loss, residual magnetism loss and hysteresis loss. Thermal sprayed coating is intended to manufacture because of simple processes and high efficient electromagnetic wave shielding. The high efficient thermal sprayed coatings were made from the magnetic ferrite materials that characterizes absorption of electromagnetic wave, and the electric conductive materials that characterize emitting of electromagnetic wave. This study was manufactured thermal sprayed coatings to improve absorption-efficiency, and measured the electromagnetic wave shielding efficiency. As the experimental results, high electromagnetic wave shield efficiency was obtained at wave frequency 2GHz to thermal sprayed ferrite coatings manufactured by size distribution range of spray powders, $38~88\mu\textrm{m}$.

  • We propose a variational wave function for the ground state of the magnetic heavy fermion (HF) systems, in which both the Kondo and the RKKY interactions are variationally incorporated and the local f-orbital state exists as a linear combination of a full local moment state and a fully compensated state (mixed wave state). We describe the mechanism for the mixed wave ground state based on the large-N treatment of the Kondo lattice Hamiltonian added with RKKY interaction. With the mixed wave ground state we can explain several puzzling experiments in magnetic HF compounds such as a small value of local moment, coexistence of the antiferromagnetic (AFM) and the paramagnetic (PM) phases, local quantum criticality, etc.

  • A literature review is made on the numerical models of wave-induced currents. The major processes of the flow system are wave breaking, bottom friction of combined wave-current flow and mixing processes primarily caused by wave breaking as well as the flow fields of waves and currents themselves. The survey is given to each item with great emphasis on numerical implication as well as physical mechanism. As noted is the importance in recent investigations, a brief treatment is also given on the currents driven by random or spectral waves.

투렛증후군의 틱 반응 억제 시험을 통한 뉴로피드백 생체신호 지표 개발 시론 (A Study for the Development of Neurofeedback Biosignal Index for Tic Response Supression Test of Tourette's Syndrome)

  • 투렛증후군 환자에게서 뮤파(Mu wave) 동기화가 깨졌을 때 틱이 발생하고, 그 반대로 뮤파 동기화를 이루면 틱이 발생하지 않는다. 연구시험 결과는 전운동피질(Frontal Cortical 3 사이트)에서 뮤파 동기화를 틱 환자가 인위적으로 하지 않고 뉴로피드백 훈련처럼 자율적으로 뇌파 조절이 이뤄진다면 마찬가지 결과로 틱이 발생하지 않는다는 사실을 시사한다. 피시험자에게 틱을 억제시켰을 때 인지 제어 반응 프로세스가 변경된다. 변경된 인지 제어를 뇌파 주파수 파워를 조절하는 뉴로피드백으로 훈련하면 환자가 인위적으로 틱을 억제하지 않아도 자율적으로 치료가 된다. 연구시험 결과는 뇌 운동영역의 뮤파 통제를 통해 틱이 발생하지 않는 생체신호 지표가 뉴로피드백 훈련의 치료프로토콜이 될 수 있는 단초를 마련하였다. 기존 뉴로피드백 치료 프로토콜인 SMR강화, 세타파-베타파 불균형 수정, 알파파 강화 등에 뮤파 강화를 추가할 수 있게 되었다. 본 연구가 투렛증후군 환자 치료법인 뉴로피드백 치료 프로토콜을 보다 과학적으로 검증하는 후속 연구와 임상시험에 활용될 것이다.

An improved solid boundary treatment for wave-float interactions using ISPH method

  • The Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) method has proved to have great potentials in dealing with the wave-structure interactions. Compared with the Weakly Compressible SPH (WCSPH) method, the ISPH approach solves the pressure by using the pressure Poisson equation rather than the equation of state. This could provide a more stable and accurate pressure field that is important in the study of wave-structure interactions. This paper improves the solid boundary treatment of ISPH by using a high accuracy Simplified Finite Difference Interpolation (SFDI) scheme for the 2D wave-structure coupling problems, especially for free-moving structure. The proposed method is referred as the ISPH_BS. The model improvement is demonstrated by the documented benchmark tests and laboratory experiment covering various wave-structure interaction applications.

  • 원적외선 복사 물질인 세라믹 분말을 벼 기계이앙상토에 혼합하였을 때 벼 유묘의 생장에 미치는 효과를 분석하고, 세라믹 분말의 적정혼합비를 구명하기 위하여 실험을 실시하였다. 공시 품종은 화성벼로 하였고, 세라믹 분말은 $Al_2$O$_3$계를 사용하였다. 시험한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 시험에 사용한 세라믹 분말의 복사파장 범위는 6~11$mu extrm{m}$이었다. 2. 세라믹 분말의 혼합처리는 무처리에 비하여 초장이 뚜렷하게 증가하였다. 3. 세라믹 분말의 혼합처리는 모의 건물중을 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. 4. 벼 유묘의 초장을 증가시키는 세라믹 분말의 추정 적정혼합비는 9.6%(240g)인 것으로 나타났다.
