  • Integrated water-soluble film is dissolved in the rubber asphalt waterproof sheet to secure adhesive strength on freshly cast concrete on the adhesion side of waterproofing layer on the floor slab. In addition, in order to determine whether the water in the concrete slurry can dissolve the water-soluble film sufficiently, the adhesive strength of the waterproofing sheet was compared between difference wetness condition at the upper part of the concrete specimen before the concrete casting.

수용성염에 의한 고무의 접착특성 및 기계적 강도 (A Study on Adhesion of Mechanical Properties of Rubber by Water-soluble salt)

  • 본 연구는 신발의 겉창인 고무 접착공정에서 버핑, 산, 알칼리 프라이머 전처리 공정을 생략하여 공정의 간소화로 생산 효율을 높이기 위해 수용성염을 포함하는 고무에 대한 접착특성과 기계적 특성을 고찰하였다. 산성염, 염기성염, 중성염을 평가한 결과, 염기성염을 포함된 고무 성형물의 경우 수성 접착제에 대해 우수한 접착효과를 보였다. 이는 염기성염이 하이드로옥시염으로 존재함에 따라 고무표면이 친수화 되면서 수성접착제에 우수한 접착효과를 보였다. 이것은 접촉각 및 IR측정으로 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, 염기성염이 포함된 고무 성형물의 경우 가교밀도가 증가되어 마모 특성 및 경도는 증가하지만 가교시간을 지연시키는 요인으로 작용하였다.

  • 최근에 날로 강화되는 환경 규제, 그리고 수요자의 필요에 의해 수용성 그리고 알칼리 가용성 점착제에 대한 많은 제품 개발이 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구실에서는 그러한 특성을 정량적으로 정확하게 측정할 수 있는 시험법을 개발하여 KS 및 ISO 시험법으로 제정하였다. 본 연구에서는 이 시험법을 이용하여 수용성과 알칼리 가용성 점착제의 시간에 따른 수용화와 알칼리 가용화 정도를 측정하였고 측정결과 분석을 통해 본 시험법이 안정된 수용성 및 알칼리 가용화 데이터를 생성하고 있음을 보여주었다.

  • 용제 및 수용성 접착제를 도포한 몇가지 고분자 소재에 평판형 플라즈마 반응기로 플라즈마 전처리 방식을 이용하여 소재표면의 접착력을 향상 시켰다. 분위기 기류를 질소로 하고 유량을 30~100 mL/min, 반응시간은 0~30 s로 하여 밀도를 변화시킨 PU 소재를 주 물질로 하여 EVA foam, Leather (Action), Rubber 소재에 대하여 각 조건별로 플라즈마 처리시켜 처리 전후의 각 소재별 접촉각과 접착박리강도 측정을 통한 각소재의 접착력 변화와, SEM분석을 이용한 처리 전후의 표면 변화를 측정하여 플라즈마 처리의 영향과 효과를 산출하였다. 대기압 평판형 플라즈마 반응기를 이용하여 최적 조건인 기체유량 100 ml/min, 전처리시간 10 s에서 PU foam, EVA form, Leather (Action) 및 Rubber 소재의 접착력 향상을 확인하였다.

  • 본 연구는 신발의 겉창용 고무 접착공정에서 버핑, 고무 프라이머 처리 등 전처리 공정을 생략하여 공정의 간소화로 생산효율을 높이기 위하여 $MgCl_2$가 포함된 고무 성형물에 대한 접착특성과 기계적 특성을 고찰하였다. $MgCl_2$함량 별로 평가한 결과, $MgCl_2$가 포함된 고무 성형물의 경우 수성 접착제에 대해 우수한 접착효과를 보였다. 이는 $MgCl_2$가 물에 녹는 염 인 것을 감안했을 때 일어나는 현상이라 판단했고, 접촉각 과 표면분석 측정으로 결과를 확인하였다. 또한, $MgCl_2$가 포함된 고무 성형물의 경우 가교효율이 증가되어 마모 특성이 증가하는 현상을 볼 수 있었다.

The study on the influence of surface cleanness and water soluble salt on corrosion protection of epoxy resin coated carbon steel

  • The corrosion resistance of epoxy-coated carbon steel was evaluated. The carbon steel surface was subjected to different treatment methods such as steel grit blasting and power tool treatment as well as contamination of water soluble salt. To study the effect of the surface treatments and contamination, the topology of the treated surface was observed by confocal microscopy and a pull-off adhesion test was conducted. The corrosion resistance of the epoxy-coated carbon steel was further examined by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) combined with immersion test of 3.5 wt% of NaCl solution. Consequently, the surface contamination by sodium chloride with $16mg/m^2$, $48mg/m^2$ and $96mg/m^2$ didn't affect the adhesion strength for current epoxy coated carbon steel and blister and rust were not observed on the surface of epoxy coating contaminated by various concentration of sodium chloride after 20 weeks of immersion in 3.5 wt% NaCl aqueous solutions. In addition, the results of EIS test showed that the epoxy-coated carbon steel treated with steel grit blasting and power tool showed similar corrosion protection performance and surface cleanness such as Sa 3 and Sa 2.5 didn't affect the corrosion protectiveness of epoxy coated carbon steel.

경상북도 안강 행주 기씨 묘 출토 직금단 치마와 저고리 보존처리 - 직금단 편금사의 금박 재접착을 중심으로 - (Conservation of Golden Decorative(Jikgeumdan) Jeogori and Chima of Costumes Excavated from Hangju Gi' Tomb of Angang, Kyungsangbukdo Province - Re-adhesion of Gold Leaves in Gilt Paper Strips -)

  • The purpose of this research is to conserve of golden decoration(Jikgeumdan) of Chima(skirt) and Jeogori(Korean jacket) of the costumes excavated from Hangju Gi' tomb(17th Century) of Joseon dynasty$(1392{\sim}1910)$ and to focus on the development of conservation skill to prevent flakings of gold leaves in gilt paper strips. Up to the present, in case of golden decorations of costumes excavated from tombs of Joseon dynasty, some of gold leaves in gilt paper strips of costumes were flaked away by deterioration of adhesives in tombs. However, most of gold leaves were flaked away and totally lost by wet cleaning for eliminating contaminants after excavation. In order to prevent flaking, preliminary experiments for re-adhesion of gold leaves have been carried out. Firstly, simulation was performed using gold leaf which was available in the market. Adhesives used in this research were water-soluble adhesives(hide glue(cow, rabbit), glue made from air bladders of sciaenoid fish and Primal AC-3444 of acrylic emulsion) and solvent-soluble adhesives(acrylic adhesive Paraloid B-67 and B-72). Because of difficulty in wetting and spreading of adhesive solutions into the interface between gold leaf and Korean paper, water-soluble adhesives were not proper for adhesion of gold leaf and Korean paper. Solvent-soluble adhesives were easily infiltrated into interface between gold leaf and Korean paper and the adhesive force was also satisfied. From this result, the researchers chose more flexible Paraloid B-72$(Tg\;40^{\circ}C)$ 1% solution than Paraloid B-67$(Tg\;50^{\circ}C)$ for adhesion of gold leaf and Korean paper. Secondly, using Paraloid B-72 1% solution, the estimations of re-adhesions of gold leaves in gilt paper strips of Jeogori were carried out. When Paraloid B-72 1% solution was injected three times into the interface between gold leaf and Korean paper, the re-adhesion was most effective. On the basis of the results in these preliminary experiments, re-adhesions of gold leaves in gilt paper strips of Chima and Jeogori were carried out on condition of three times injections of Paraloid B-72 1% solution before wet cleaning. After wet cleaning, the most of the gold leaves were survived, which was confirmed by both the examination with the naked eye and the microscopic examination.

수용성 아크릴 변성 에폭시에스테르 수지의 합성 및 도막물성 (Synthesis of Water Soluble Acrylic Modified Epoxyester Resin and Physical Properties of Coatings)

  • For the synthesis of water soluble acrylic modified epoxyester resin, fatty acid/epoxy ratio of 50/50 was used, and introduced maleic anhydride. Ratio of styrene/acrylic acid of acrylic monomers was fixed 85/15 and ratio of epoxyester/acrylic monomer was controlled 80/20, 75/25, 70/30, 65/35, and degree of neutralization were changed 65%, 80%, to 100%. As a result, 40% solids acrylic modified epoxyester resins were synthesized. Resins were evaluated water soluble stability, drying time, water resistant, storage stability and physical properties. And the white paints were prepared, and were evaluated viscosity, drying time, water resistance, adhesion, sagging, spray workability, gloss, salt spray resistance, skinning, whiteness and flash rust. As a result, the degree of neutralization of 100% and the ratio of epoxyester/acrylic monomer of 75/25 showed the best properties.

가교제 및 pH 조절제가 수용성 아크릴 점착제의 점착 물성에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Crosslinking Agent and pH Controlling Agent on Adhesive Properties of Water Soluble Acrylic PSA)

  • 본 연구에서는 점착제의 유지력 개선과 pH 조절을 위해 각각 첨가해 주는 가교제와 pH 조절제의 종류 및 첨가량이 수용성 아크릴 점착제의 점착 물성 및 수용성에 미치는 효과를 알아보기 위하여 중합된 점착 시료에 여러 가지의 가교제와 pH 조절를 첨가해 준 후 초기점착력, 유지력 및 점착력 등의 점착 물성과 수용성을 측정하였다. 가교제를 0.2 wt% 미만 첨가해 주었을 때, 초기 점착력은 감소하였고 유지력과 점착력은 증가하였다. 그러나 0.2 wt% 이상 첨가해 주었을 때는 초기 점착력은 증가하였지만 유지력과 점착력은 감소하는 결과를 보였다. 또한 pH 조절제를 첨가해 주었을 때 pH 조절제의 농도가 증가함에 따라 초기점착력과 수용성은 감소하였고 점착력과 유지력은 증가하였으며, LiOH, KOH, NaOH 순으로 점착 물성과 수용성에 미치는 영향이 큰 것으로 나타났다.

Influence of Surface Finishing Material Types to Formaldehyde and Volatile Organic Compounds Emission from Plywood

  • Formaldehyde and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are emitted from wood-based panels that have been made using wood particles, wood fiber, wood chips, formaldehyde-based resins and so on. In this study, we examined formaldehyde and total VOCs (TVOC) emission behaviors for plywood overlaid with water-soluble phenolic resin impregnated linerboard (PL), and two kinds of surface materials (decorative veneer and pre-impregnated finishing foil) that were adhered onto the PL that named DPL and PPL. EVA (ethyl vinyl acetate) was used to overlay the decorative veneer and pre-impregnated finishing foil on the plywood with water-soluble phenolic resin impregnated linerboard by a hot press instrument. The debonding test and accelerated aging test were conducted to assess their mechanical properties. Formaldehyde and TVOC emission concentrations were measured using the FLEC method and a VOC Analyzer, respectively. The debonding test results of PL, DPL and PPL were 1.2, 1.5, and $0.5N/mm^2$, respectively. The surface appearance of the samples were not changed after the accelerated aging test. The PL and DPL exhibited reduced formaldehyde and TVOC emission levels, respectively. In the case of PPL, the VOC value was relatively higher than those of PL and DPL.
