The Need Analysis for Operating Course-based National Technical Qualification Course of Vocational School Teachers (직업계고 교사의 과정평가형 자격 과정 운영에 대한 교육요구도 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to use as a basic data of establishing operating Course-based National Technical Qualification(CNTQ) support program by examining the educational needs for operating CNTQ of vocational school teachers, and to contribute to the vocational school settlement of CNTQ course. To achieve those purposes, this study drew 27 tasks performed by teachers operating CNTQ. Also, it surveyed the perceived importance and the performance. The findings of this study are as follows. First, it is showed that 'selection of qualification fields and confirmation of organization criteria, organization of educational training time by competency unit, organization of subjects and establishment of competency unit operating plan by grade and semester, selection of teaching materials, implementation of education and training, establishment of evaluation plan, implementation of evaluation, re-education and re-evaluation students with grades under 40%, guidance of paper evaluation, guidance of practical evaluation, guidance of interview evaluation' are the first priority tasks in the result of the need analysis. Second, it is indicated that 'application of external evaluation, guidance to retake an exam for failure' are the secondary priority tasks. According to these results, the following conclusions were made. First, it will be more positive effects if the educational needs in the next CNTQ support program include contents of the first priority tasks. Second, it is indicated that the priority of the educational needs for tasks of operating plan stages is commonly high. In particular, the highest ranking in the result means that it is completely supported from the first step on operating course. It is expected that the program which teachers on operating the course of similar qualification fields share each operating experience is effective. Third, the priority of the educational needs for external evaluation step ranked high. External evaluation has a different level of difficulty and a form of practical evaluation output according to qualification fields, so the method of guidance has to be different. It needs the program constructed by similar fields.

An Analysis Study on the Contents of Occupation in Technology & Home Economics Textbooks for Middle School : focusing on preparation for Low Birthrate & Aging Society (저출산·고령사회 대비 관점에서 중학교 기술·가정 교과서에 제시된 직업 내용 분석)

  • This study analyzed the aspect of occupational contents shown in total 24 types of Technology & Home Economics (1). (2) textbooks for middle school in accordance with the 2009 revised curriculum. Analyzing the type of occupation shown in textbooks based on the Korean Standard Classification of Occupations(hierarchical classification), the frequency(ratio), and the aspect of occupational contents in each unit of textbooks and each data type, this study provided basic data to be able to understand diverse aspects of occupational contents. In the results of study, in case of Technology & Home Economics textbooks for middle school, the large area of 'home life' presented occupational contents in the relatively high ratio than the 'world of technology' while the frequency(ratio) of occupational contents was very much different in each publisher, large area, and unit. The occupation name presented in textbooks provided very limited information in the level of 5.27% of occupations presented in the Korea Dictionary of Occupations. Especially, providing occupational information concentrated in professionals & relevant practiceans in the type of the Korean Standard Classification of Occupations(hierarchical classification), it was limited to provide opportunities to learn the diversity related to occupation. Based on such results of study, on top of introducing diverse occupational contents to make students cherish all the occupations, it would be also necessary to seek for institutional measures related to textbook development/career education, so that they could explore career by considering their aptitude and interest.

An Analysis on Occupational Content in the Technology & Home Economics Textbooks of High School (고등학교 기술·가정 교과서의 직업 내용 분석)

  • This study analyzed content of and recognition on occupations shown from Technology Home Economics textbooks of the high school elective subject having a higher connection with the career development capability for the occupational world as shown from a curriculum analysis. Hence, this study selected 3 kinds of high school Technology Home Economics textbooks with a higher share from 6 in the 2007 revised curriculum and analyzed a frequency by characteristic of occupational content and recognition on description of a occupation. Content analyzed by researchers was examined by 2 school teachers to ensure the validity and objectivity of research findings. Research findings show that there is a great deal of frequency difference in occupations suggested by publisher and unit in the Technology Home Economics subject. Also suggestion frequency of the occupational classification by level from Korean standard industrial classification did not correspond to an actual situation of employment. Occupation names suggested from textbooks occupied 3.3% of those by Korean Occupation Dictionary, showing a higher suggestion ratio at occupations preferred by adolescents. In the textbooks, occupations were suggested from reading materials, photos and illustrations more than from texts. Recognition on descriptions of occupations showed for the most part the neutral(82.8%) and the positive16.2%)', and there was no biased intention even from some negative cases(1.0%). Based on research findings, this research has significance in that it suggested things to be considered for teaching career development capability in the high school Technology Home Economics subject and need for cultivating teachers' specialty to understand occupations and instruct career development. It also suggested improvements to be required for a new curriculum textbook.

  • Support policies such as education and training for re-employment of career-interrupted women are being implemented, but they are not being effectively employed. In addition, it is difficult for women with high educational background to re-enter, such as having to revise their previous careers or plan a new career for re-employment. In the previous studies, there was insufficient research to solve fundamental problems for re-employment, such as promising jobs with high employment opportunities. Therefore, when developing a curriculum for women with career interruptions, it was felt the need to select educational occupations that would be helpful in finding employment by age and educational background of the trainees. In this study, data on vocational training education of women with career interruptions were used to analyze the educational occupations with the highest employment rate by age and educational background.

  • The company of 4 core materials that are needed for photovoltaic generation is located in area around this university in Gunsan, Saemangeum. And also, it was almost completed the value chain about the production of Polysilicon, Ingot, Wafer, modules and the design, construction of generation system. The industry-academy-government has understood that because of the relative companies' production and investment, it leads to a supply and demand of manpower and thus will have field centered manpower education. This program will help the problem of lack of manpower in relative companies by establishing competitive major agreement like vocational education system. Also, the university and the participating company in joint have pushed ahead field business education to make the least of industrial-education's mismatch, the training of professional manpower connected with related industries to make the universities chemical characteristics, companies securing excellent manpower and contributed to the revitalization of the regional economy. In this paper, are aware that photovoltaic industry is a future strategic industry for the country, so we will train the immediately site adapting manpower for the area of photovoltaic material and system as our goal. This is shown results of education operation for 4 years.

  • The objective of correction is to let criminals receive education, be reformed and get vocational training during prison term by being separated from society and live as sound citizens after being released from prison. The facilities that execute such mission are referred to as corrective institution, and in Korea, some 47,000 persons are accommodated at 50 locations. Corrective facilities are facilities existing to separate and accommodate criminals safely, and return them to society after eliminating criminal nature from the convicts during the accommodation period. But corrective facilities in Korea representing the characteristics of corrective facilities vividly focusing on security. Therefore, while present pursuit of corrective facilities is to seek for reformation of criminals rather than separation of them from society, existing prison buildings are not appropriate facilitated at the moment. This study has the purpose to planning of indoor environment of corrective facility ward building as healing environment. Specifically, this study is contributing to propose a model of criminals healing environment equivalent to hospital facility to raise the effect of healing the criminal nature of criminals and cut the period of restoring them by applying healing environment elements and return the criminals to the society as successfully reformed social member.

  • This study intends to find out a solution to the problems with living measure system. Korea with great economic growth increase the demand of lands for housing, factories and public facilities. Under this circumstance, public developments have been driven in, loss compensation has changed from property compensation into living compensation. The improvements on practical compensation business is : First, it is necessary to legally stipulate living measure in the Act on Land. Second, beekeeping compensation should be tightened. Third, preferential hiring, job recommendation and vocational training should be offered to residents'. These living measures will promote smoothly public development projects.

The Moderating Effects of Self-directed Learning Ability on the Relationship between Mentoring Function and Career Commitment in Registered Nurses (간호사의 멘토링 기능과 경력 몰입의 관계에 대한 자기주도학습 능력의 조절 효과)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the moderating effects of self-directed learning ability on the relationship between mentoring function and career commitment in registered nurses. Methods: A total of 396 registered nurses from 19 hospitals located in Incheon were included in this study. Collected data were analyzed by confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, Pearson product moment correlation and hierarchical regression analysis with SPSS and AMOS 18.0 program. Results: The mentoring function and self-directed learning ability showed to have a positive effect on career commitment. Self-directed learning ability showed to have a moderating effect on the relationship between mentoring function and career commitment. Conclusion: To enhance the level of career commitment perceived by registered nurses, hospital organizations need to implement effective mentoring programs and develop self-directed learning ability in nurses.

Effect Analysis of a Deep Learning-Based Attention Redirection Compensation Strategy System on the Data Labeling Work Productivity of Individuals with Developmental Disabilities (딥러닝 기반의 주의환기 보상전략 시스템이 발달장애인의 데이터 라벨링 작업 생산성에 미치는 효과분석)

  • This paper investigates the effect of a deep learning-based system on data labeling task productivity by individuals with developmental disabilities. It was found that interventions, particularly those using AI, significantly improved productivity compared to self-serving task. AI interventions were notably more effective than job coach-led approaches. This research underscores the positive role of AI in enhancing task efficiency for those with developmental disabilities. This study is the first to apply AI technology to the data labeling tasks of individuals with developmental disabilities and highlighting deep learning's potential in vocational training and productivity enhancement for this group.

  • This exploratory study investigated the real time adaptability of industry training for college professors. For this study, the researcher whose college's professor in the department of early childhood education used collaborative action research. This research was conducted in a class of five year old children of a daycare center in D city. The researcher and the homeroom teacher interacted with each other through 4 steps during the researcher's training period. The first step was group formation between the researcher and the teacher. The second step was problem identification. The third step was a review of the literature. The forth step was problem-solving. The researcher and teacher finally developed a rhythm movement program that was based on fundamental motor performance of young children. Through this collaborative effort, the researcher and teacher had the opportunity to improve their professionalism. Especially, the researcher improved her understanding and knowledge of teaching young kids. The result of this study is meaningful in that it provided basic data to improve training of college professors.
