For this analysis of materials used SAS program. And analysis of variance was applied on the seven background factors. All subjects in this study were 341 secondary school mathematics teachers in pusan city and Kyungsangnam-do were surveyed by the questionnaire of Likert type to which the respondents' seven background elements were added. Main results this study were as follows : 1. The overall attitude of the measured secondary school mathematics teachers tends to be positive but a little indifferent. Also attitude toward the students was a little more positive than the other attitudes. 2. There were significant differences (1%) among the sub-level areas except three of them. (r = 0.17~0.60) 3. There were significant differences (5%) by the result of Multiple comparison test among the schools in learning and teaching. So the teachers working at middle schools and general high schools were more positive than those working at vocational high schools. 4. • Comparative Study on Historical Changes of Practical Arts Education and Technology-Home Economics Education in Korea and Japan This dissertation is a comparative study on Practical Arts(Home Economics) Education and Technology-Home Economics Education of Korea and Japan. I established two research objectives to conduct the research : To understand the differences in historical changes in Practical Arts Education and Technology-Home Economics of the two countries: And to grope for the new direction of Home Economics Education. Research findings are as follows : Japan was also ahead of Korea for about two decades in terms of putting Home Economics Education in practice at elementary schools. Practical Arts Education Started to emerge in Elementary school system in 1955, which had been originated in vocational education before the year 1945 in Korean However, from the 3th curriculum Practical Arts Education Curriculum put emphasis on home lives. Regarding the characteristics of education from the perspectives of historical changes at Korean Junior-high schools after the year 1945. Home Economics Education had been regarded as “female subject”until the 1980s and was integrated into regular curricula for co-education in the middle of the 1990s. when the 6th Curriculum was activated. Technology-Home Economics started to emerge in Japan in 1962. while the subject Home Economics Education was integrated into curricula for males in high school as well in 1989. In the Korean 7th Curriculum, the combined subject Technology-Home Economics is divided into three categories. A remarkable difference from japanese Technology-Home Economics is that korean curriculum has no division between required and elective. In conclusion. I observe that both Korean and Japanese curricula for Home Economics Education were originated in Confucianism. However, unlike Korean situation, current Japanese Home Economics Education takes a significant part as a continuing and required subject for both primary and secondary co-education.

The study consisted of 555 second-year students from a vocational, academic oriented girl's high schools that were located in Busan. Data analysis was made through Two-Way ANOVA, Pearson's Correlation, Multiple Regression, and Path Analysis by using SPSS WIN 10.0. The results of this study is described as follows. First, internet-related delinquencies were committed by male students more than by female students. Second, problematic communications with mothers was most directly influenced by internet-related delinquencies of high school students of both sexes and was indirectly influenced by self-esteem and impulsiveness. Third, impulsiveness was directly influenced by internet-related delinquencies in both male and female students. In male students, their school departments indirectly influenced internet-related delinquencies by way of open communication with mothers, peer support, self-esteem, and impulsiveness. In female students, school departments directly influenced on internet-related delinquencies and indirectly by way of peer support, self-esteem and impulsiveness. Internet-related delinquencies by male and female students were not directly influenced by peer support and self-esteem. • Currently, vocational high schools are trying to learn through project learning and similar courses. This is to nurture talented students who can be directly involved in the industrial field. In this study, we modified the existing ADDIE model, designed the model for the class, and operated the actual augmented reality programming class to verify the validity. As a result of the operation, the learners' satisfaction and achievement were high, and the ability to solve the problem was improved as it was developed in the actual field. In this study, it is meaningful to develop a teaching model closely related to the field through the project learning using the augmented reality programming.

  • This study examines adolescent delinquent behavior and the influence of friends, focusing specifically on friends' delinquent behavior and the influence of self-efficacy, parent-child conflict and parental control. A total of 1,399 adolescents attending five different high schools (male=642, female=756, consisting of 915 student attending high school and 484 students attending vocational high school) completed a questionnaire developed by Ahn, Hwang, Kim and Park (1997) and Bandura's (1995a) self-efficacy scale. Results indicate that those students who attend high school had parents with higher education, socio-economic status and better studying environment at home, while students attending vocational high school had higher parent-child conflict. Students attending high school had higher self-efficacy scores, while students attending vocational high school had higher scores on delinquent behavior. The results of LISREL analyses revealed a similar pattern for high school and vocational high school students. Combined analysis indicate that friends' delinquent behavior, parent-child conflict and parental control had direct and positive effect on students' delinquency behavior. Self-efficacy had a direct and negative influence of delinquency behavior. Similar pattern was obtained for friends' delinquency behavior, in which self-efficacy had a direct and negative influence of their delinquency behavior and their parent-child conflict and parental control had direct and positive effect on their delinquency behavior. In summary, those students who had lower self-efficacy, higher parent-child conflict and parental control, and with friends who are more likely to engage in delinquent behavior, had higher scores on delinquent behavior. Also, those students who had friends with lower self-efficacy scores and with higher parent-child conflict and parental control are more likely to engage in delinquent behavior, which in turn influenced their delinquent behavior. Friends' delinquent behavior had the greatest influence on students' delinquent behavior indicating the role of friends in influencing delinquency among adolescents.

  • The study aims to develop the NCS based vocational curriculum model for the practical and creative human resources. For effectiveness of the study, the study consists of literature studies of both domestic and international, contents analysis, case study, expert(9samples) consultation and review, and in-depth-interview of the three advisory members. The validity of the developed model is analyzed through mean, standard deviation and contents validity ratio(CVR). The main results of the model development in our study are as follow. First, our NCS based vocational curriculum model for the practical and creative human resources is developed with the analyses of NCS development manuals, training standard utilization and training curriculum organization manuals, NCS learning module development manual and case studies, NCS research report, NCS based curriculum pilot development resources directed toward the high schools and vocational school as well as the domestic and international literature study on career training model like NCS. Second, based on the findings of our analysis in combination with the findings from the consultations with the expert and advisory committee, total 19 sub-factors of each step and domain are extracted. The sub-factors of domain in step 1 are the competency unit, definition of competency unit, competency unit element, performance criteria, range of variable, guide of assessment, key competency; in step 2, they are subject title, subject objectives, chapter title, chapter objectives, pedagogical methods, assessment methods and basic job competence; and in step 2, they are NCS based subject matrix table, NCS based subject profile, NCS based job training curriculum table, NCS based subjects organization flowchart, NCS based job training operation plan. Third, the final model including step 3 NCS based subject profile are developed in association with the linked organizational sub-factors of step 1 and step 2. Forth, the validity tests for the final model by the step and domain yield the mean 4.67, CVR value 1.00, indicating the superior validity. Also, the means of each sub-factors are all over 4.33 with the CVR value 1.00, indicating the high validity as well. The means of the associated organizations within the model are also over 4.33 with the CVR value of 1.00. Standard deviations are all .50 or lower which are small. Fifth, based on the validity test results and the in-depth-interview of the expert and advisory committee, the model is adjusted complemented to establish final model of the NCS based vocational curriculum for the practical and creative human resources.
