Middle School Students' Characteristics of Spatial Ability in Earth Science Activity using Orienteering

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze students' learning characteristics regarding spatial ability, orienteering ability and earth science content learning ability and their relationship through development and application of earth science activities using orienteering. The programme aims to improve students' spatial ability using orienteering activity which requires spatial ability. Topics in the programme included map, compass, contour, movement of celestial, and constellation application. Students were to orienteer in the field using the method they learned in class. This programme was applied to five 7th graders. The results are, first, students who have positive attitude toward science and do well at school tended to perceive their orienteering ability high. Second, all parts of spatial ability, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, spatial relation were used during orienteering, especially spatial visualization and spatial orientation. The relationship between spatial ability, orienteering ability, and earth science content learning abilities was not clear. However, orienteering ability and earth science content learning ability were in similar tendency.

전쟁패러다임의 전환과 군사변혁 (Shift in Warfare Paradigm and Military Transformation)

  • In present, advanced countries in the world are seen concentring on Military Transformation to create new military capability as there is a shift in Warfare Paradigm. Rapid development of technology enables military system, operational concept and organization innovated. As a result, Revolution in Military Affairs(RMA) that dramatically increased warfighting capability is pursued. Especially, advanced information technology constructs system of systems with abilities of battle visualization, information sharing in battlefield, long-range strike capability that are interoperable and combined. Corresponding to this, engagement methods and organizations are being progressively developed. The purpose of this thesis is overview of newly developing Warfare Paradigm and analysis of tendency of Military Transformation that advanced countries are pursuing preparation to this. Above all, specific aspects and contents of the Warfare Paradigm which emerged by information age were summarized. Subsequently, Military Transformation which provides the basic concepts and principles to the advanced countries in the world for the creation of new military capability was discussed. In conclusion, the tendency of Military Transformation by U.S.A, Japan, China, and Russia surround the Korean peninsular as the major power in military was carefully observed.

SDN에서 엘리펀트 플로우의 실시간 분류, 시각화 및 QoS 제어 (Real-Time Classification, Visualization, and QoS Control of Elephant Flows in SDN)

  • 오래 지속되는 플로우인 엘리펀트 플로우는 데이터 센터에서 많은 대역폭을 소비해서, 지연에 민감하고 짧은 시간 흐르는 플로우인 마이스 플로우의 흐름을 방해하게 된다. 이는 마이스 플로우에 대해 적지않은 지연을 발생시켜서, 결과적으로 그 네트워크에서 동작하고 있는 응용의 성능을 저하시키게 된다. 그러므로 데이터 센터 네트워크는 이를 분류하고 시각화 해내어 실시간으로 QoS 프로비져닝을 제공할 수 있어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 다음에 대해 논한다. (1) SDN에서 sflow를 이용한 엘리펀트 플로우의 실시간 검출 및 시각화를 위한 프레임워크 제시. 이는 시각화된 토폴로지에서 스위치를 더블클릭 하므로써 스위치를 통과하는 엘리펀트 플로우를 점검할 수 있게 한다. (2) SDN 제어기에 의해서 정의되고 관리되는 QoS를 보장하는 접근 및 OpenFlow에 의해 제공되는 규격. 본 논문에서는 SDN 네트워크내에서 rate-limiting (traffic-shaping) 분류 기법을 사용하는 것을 주로 논의한다.

딥러닝 및 토픽모델링 기법을 활용한 소셜 미디어의 자살 경향 문헌 판별 및 분석 (Examining Suicide Tendency Social Media Texts by Deep Learning and Topic Modeling Techniques)

  • 자살은 전 세계 사망 원인 중 4위이며 사회, 경제적 손실이 큰 난제이다. 본 연구는 자살 예방을 위하여 소셜미디어에 나타난 자살 관련 말뭉치를 구축하고 이를 통해 자살 경향 문헌을 분류할 수 있는 딥러닝 자동분류 모델을 만들고자 하였다. 또한, 자살 요인을 분석하기 위해 주제를 자동으로 추출하는 분석 기법인 토픽모델링을 활용하여 자살 관련 말뭉치를 세부 주제로 분류하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 소셜미디어 중 하나인 네이버 지식iN에 나타난 자살 관련 문헌 2,011개를 수집한 후 자살예방교육 매뉴얼을 기준으로 자살 경향 문헌 및 비경향 문헌 여부를 주석 처리하였으며, 이 데이터를 딥러닝 모델(LSTM, BERT, ELECTRA)로 학습시켜 자동분류 모델을 만들었다. 또한, 토픽모델링 기법의 하나인 LDA 기법으로 주제별 문헌을 분류하여 자살 요인을 발견하였고 이를 심층적으로 분석하기 위해 주제별로 동시출현 단어 분석 및 네트워크 시각화를 진행하였다.

스토리 창작 특성의 효과적 가시화를 위한 분류 좌표계 연구 (A Coordinate System of Classification for Effective Visualizations of Story Properties)

  • 장르 및 행위는 스토리의 분류뿐만 아니라 그 특성 데이터의 분포를 가시적으로 나타나는 데에도 효과적으로 사용될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 스토리 특성 데이터의 분포를 장르-행위의 2차원 평면에서 가시화함에 있어, 인접한 장르 및 인접한 행위가 서로 유사성을 가지는 즉 공간적 특성을 가지는 장르-행위 좌표계를 제안한다. 제안된 장르-행위 좌표계를 이용하여 스토리 특성 데이터의 분포를 가시화 해본 결과 유사도가 높은 항목들이 연이여 좌표계의 항목을 이루고 또한 관련성 있는 특성 데이터들이 군집을 이루어 나타나는 등 공간적 의미를 가지도록 스토리 특성 데이터의 가시화가 가능함을 확인하였다.

경사각을 갖는 적층판식 유수분리기의 유수분리 효율에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Oil/Water Separation Efficiency of Laminated Plate Type Oily water Separator with Inclined Angle)

  • Its a tendency to strengthen related international was as the importance on marine oil pollution recently becomes the issue. According to the regulation of IMO, oil discharge from ships is allowed under 15PPM only and oil filtering equipment is essential. Oily water separator of laminated plate type which is one of gravity type separator can be use as assistant equipment for the oil filtering system to meet the present IMO standard, because it fits well to process large amount of rich oil with high specific gravity. The purpose of this paper is to investigate an efficiency of oil/water separation with the characteristics of laminated plate arrangement. The analyse of oil contents for oil-water mixture were carried out in order to find an efficiency of oil/water separation and an experimental study was simultaneously carried out to investigate internal flow characteristics of separator by visualization method and PIV(Particle Image Velocimetry) measurement at three spaces of plates for 5, 10 and 15 mm with variation of inlet flow rates of $0.25m^3$/h and $0.5m^3$/h. The experimental results showed that the space of the plates acts a significant role in the separating process.

Visualization of Diesel and GTL Spray Combustion and Soot Formation in a Rapid Charging Combustion Vessel with Shadowgraph Method

  • In this study, visual investigation of sprays and flames has been performed and soot formation in Diesel and GTL fuels has been compared in a specially designed Rapid Charging Combustion Vessel (RCCV) under various ambient gas $O_2$ concentrations and two injection pressures. It has been concluded that soot in the mixing-controlled combustion of Diesel and GTL fuels has similar tendency to be formed in the leading portion of the jet boundaries. Auto-ignition delay for GTL fuel is shorter than that for diesel fuel. The temporal and special variation of soot concentration in the diesel flame jets at various $O_2$ concentrations was correlated with the heat release rate. Soot concentration appears in the regions when diffusion combustion starts, and its concentration reaches maximum at the peak of heat release curve and then decreases due to oxidation. Visualization by shadowgraph method showed that soot decreases with lower $O_2$ concentration, and higher injection pressure.

혈액모사유체의 미세협착 주변 맥동유동 시뮬레이션 (Numerical Simulation of Pulsatile Flows around Micro-Stenosis for Blood Analog Fluids)

  • Considering the role of viscosity in the hemorheology, the characteristics of non-Newtonian fluid are important in the pulsatile blood flows. Stenosis, with an abnormal narrowing of the vessel, contributes to block blood flows to downstream tissue and lead to plaque rupture. Therefore, systematic analysis of blood flow around stenosed vessels is crucial. In this study, non-Newtonian behaviors of blood analog fluids around the micro-stenosis with 60 % severity in diameter of $500{\mu}m$ was examined by using CFX under the pulsatile flow conditions with the period of 10 s. Viscosity information of two non-Newtonian fluids were obtained by fitting the value of normal blood and highly viscous blood. As the Newtonian fluid, the water at room temperature was used. During the pulsatile phase, wall shear stress (WSS) is highly oscillated. In addition, high viscous solution gives rise to increases the variation in the WSS around the micro-stenosis. Highly oscillating WSS enhance increasing tendency of plaque instability or rupture and damage of the tissue layer. These results, related to the influence on the damage to the endothelium or stenotic lesion, may help clinicians understand relevant mechanisms.

파이썬 데이터 시각화를 이용한 랴오허 국립공원 관광객 인식 연구 (Liaohe National Park based on python data visualization Visitor Perception Study)

  • National park is one of the important types of protected area management systems established by IUCN and a management model for effective conservation and sustainable use of natural and cultural heritage in countries around the world, and it assumes important roles in conservation, scientific research, education, recreation and driving community development. This study takes Liaohe National Park in China, a typical representative of global coastal wetlands, as a case study, and uses python technology to collect travelogues and reviews of visitors from Mafengwo.com, Ctrip.com, Go.com, Meituan.com and Dianping.com as a source, and the text spans from 2015 to 2022. The results show that wildlife resources, natural landscape with river and sea, wetland ecology and fishing and hunting culture of northern China are fully reflected in the perceptions of visitors to Liaohe National Park. However, there is still much room for improvement in terms of supporting services and facilities, public education and tourists' experience and participation in Liaohe National Park. In this paper, we use python data visualization technology to study the public perception of wetland wildlife as the theme, and grasp the satisfaction, spatial distribution, activity content and emotional tendency of the public in the process of wetland wildlife as the theme, so as to better promote the Liaohe National Park to better carry out the public experience while strictly adhering to ecological protection, and to provide the Liaohe National Park with a better opportunity to This will provide scientific basis for the Liaohe National Park to play a better role in ecological civilization construction and education of ecological civilization awareness.

디지털 영상처리를 이용한 초음파 소노루미네센스 이미지 개선 (Enhancement of Ultrasonic Sonoluminescence Image Using Digital Image Processing)

  • 소노루미네센스를 이용한 음향가시화법에 관한 연구가 많이 수행되었음에도 불구히필 그 응용사례를 찾기 힘든 것은 소노루미네센스 현상이 임계음압 이상에서만 나타난다는 단점 때문이다. 최근 개발된 고감도 디지털 카메라는 큰 메모리 용량과 높은 해상도를 이용하여 육안으로 관측하기 힘든 미약한 빛의 영상에 대해서도 그 디지털 데이터를 취득할 수 있게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 방사음압에 대한 소노루미네센스 현상의 발광 강도 변화를 조사하여 이 결과로부터 방사음압에 따른 강도변화를 선형화시키는 역함수의 형태를 구하였다 이 역함수의 형태로부터 매칭함수의 형태를 예측할 수 있었고 이를 소노루미네센스 현상으로부터 얻어진 디지털 영상데이터에 적용한 결과 영상데이터의 히스토그램의 분포를 적절히 제어하여 비교적 약한 음향강도에 의해 생성되는 소노루미네센스의 영상을 개선시킬 수 있었다.
