Slury Wall용 안정액의 배합설계에 관한 연구 (A study on the mix desing for stabilizing liquid of sluryy wall)

  • The purpose of this study is to design the requirements for the materials of stabilizing slurry and to determine the optimum slruuy mix design used in the underground wall of Inchon LNG #213 and 214 tank. After the materials and mix conditions of stabilizing slurry investigated and tested, we propose materials and optimum mix design according to testing items including funnel viscosity, we propose materials and optimum mix design according to testing items including funnel viscosity, fluid loss, cake thickness and specific gravity. As this results, we select optimum mix design that the upper limit ratio of bentonite is 2.0%, polymer is 0.1% considering the funnel viscosity and dispersion agent is 0.05% considering the fluid loss. Also we select all materials which are composed of GTC4 as bentonite, KSTP as polymer and Bentocryl as dispersion agent. All test results are satisfied our specifications for stabilizing slurry.

A Study on the Optimum Mix Proportion of the Stabilizing Liquid Used for Excavation of the Deep and Massive Slurry Wall

  • This study investigates experimentally the optimum mix proportion and design factors of the stabilizing liquid used for excavation of the massive and deep slurry wall in LNG in-ground tank before pouring concrete. Considering those site conditions, the stabilizing liquid used for excavation of slurry wall has to be satisfied with some requirements including specific gravity, fluid loss, cake thickness, funnel viscosity and sand content in order to construct the safe and qualified slurry wall. For this purpose, we select materials including bentonite, polymer and dispersion agent. After performing many tests for materials and mix design process, we propose the optimum mix proportion that the upper limit ratio of bentonite is $2.0\%$, polymer is $0.1\%$ considering the funnel viscosity and dispersion agent is $0.05\%$considering the fluid loss of the stabilizing liquid. Also, we select all materials which are consisted of GTC4 as bentonite, KSTP as polymer and Bentocryl 86 as dispersion agent. Based on the results of this study, the optimum mix proportion of the stabilizing liquid is applicable to excavate the deep and massive slurry wall in LNG in-ground tank successfully.

조영제 희석률에 따른 조영증강 자기공명혈관조영검사의 신호강도 평가 (Evaluation of the signal intensity of magnetic resonance angiography in accordance with the dilution rate of the contrast agent)

  • 조영제의 희석률 변화에 따른 신호강도를 분석하여 조영증강 자기공명혈관조영검사 시 점도와 삼투압에 따른 부작용을 최소화하고 신호강도를 높여 영상의 질을 향상시키고자 하였다. 연구방법은 조영제가 혈관에 주입되면 혈액과 희석되어 mol 농도가 변화되고, 그에 따라 신호강도의 변화를 일으킴에 착안하여 phantom을 제작하였다. phantom 결과를 바탕으로 임상실험은 2013년 11월부터 2014년 1월까지 조영제를 희석한 군(30명)과 희석하지 않은 군(30명)으로 구분하여 뇌혈관의 신호강도를 비교하였다. 연구결과, 조영제 mol 농도 변화에 따른 phantom의 신호강도는 0.0125mmol부터 급격히 증가하다 20mmol에서 최고점을 이룬 후 200mmol부터 평형을 이루었다. 임상실험에서도 조영제를 희석하여 검사한 영상의 신호강도가 모두 높게 나타나, 1000mmol 조영제 사용에 비해 500mmol로 희석하여 사용함이 최고점인 20mmol에 근접하여 우수함을 알 수 있었다. 결론적으로 조영제를 희석하여 사용함으로써 점도와 삼투압을 저하시키고, 영상의 질을 향상시킬 수 있었으므로 임상적용의 유용성이 높다고 할 수 있다.

쌀가루와 감자를 농후제로 사용한 크림스프의 품질 특성 (Quality Characteristics of cream soups added with rice flour and potato as a thickening agent)

  • In order to seek the possibility of using rice flour and potato as thickening agent instead of roux, sensory evaluations of cream soups manufactured from 3 different thickening agents were conducted. The viscosity, moisture and lipid contents, and the color affecting the quality of the soup were investigated. The results were as follows: 1. As thickening agents for 200g of the cream soups, rice flour and potatoes at 20.5 and 20g, respectively, were needed in order to make soup with a similar concentration to that manufactured using 20g of roux. 2. In the sensory tests, the soup made with rice flour had the most preferred overall acceptability, with a significantly preferable taste. The soup made with rice flour had the strongest whiteness and savory taste, but that made with roux had the strongest viscosity and smooth feeling in the mouth feel. There was no difference between the samples with regard to nutty flavor. The whiteness, palatability, viscosity and smooth feel sensory properties were positively correlated with the overall acceptability. Among these properties, the palatability showed the highest correlation (r=0.538) with overall preference. 3. The cream soup made using potatoes as the thickening agent had a $76.20\%$ water content, whereas those made with rice flour and roux had 73.00 and $64.00\%$ respectively The fat content of the cream soup made with roux was $10.24\%$, which was twice as high as those of the rice flour and potato soups. 4. Among the 3 kinds of cream soup, the one made with rice flour had the whitest color.

Development of Ready-to-Eat Bulgogi Sauce with No Change of Sensory Properties after High-Dose Irradiation

  • Viscosity is critically important for bulgogi sauce. However, exposure to irradiation may decrease the rheological properties of bulgogi sauce. This study was conducted to compare the effects of gamma irradiation (0-9 kGy) on viscosity, molecular weight, pH, reducing end level, and water solubility of xanthan gum, guar gum, and locust bean gum as thickening agents/stabilizers in bulgogi sauce. The physicochemical properties of all samples changed (p<0.05) from 3965 to 0 cP (viscosity), from 6048 to 28 kDa (molecular weight), from 5.79 to 4.62 (pH), from 0.13 mg/mL to 1.72 mg/mL (reducing end level), and from 6% to 87% (water solubility) following gamma irradiation. Viscosity after irradiation was most stable (p<0.05) in xanthan gum (from 1249 to 92 cP) compared with guar gum (from 3965 to 0 cP) and locust bean gum (from 1631 to 0 cP). The sensory properties (texture and taste) of bulgogi sauce prepared with xanthan gum (1%, w/w) were highly maintained (about 7.0-5.0) after high-dose irradiation of up to 40 kGy. These results indicate that xanthan gum can be effectively used as a thickening agent/stabilizer in bulgogi sauce, which had low viscosity after irradiation.

DTP 반응성 잉크용 저점도 아크릴계 고분자 전처리액 제조 및 특성 평가 (Preparation and Evaluation of Low Viscosity Acrylic Polymer Based Pretreatment Solution for DTP Reactive Ink)

  • In the direct digital textile printing process, the pre-treatment process is an essential condition for products by forming a clear pattern by sticking and penetration of DTP dye without spreading on the fabric. Recently, pre-treatment agent is changing from high viscosity to low viscosity in order to reduce defects of fabric during pre-treatment process. In this study, pre-treatment agent of acrylic polymer with low viscosity(less than 50cps) was prepared according to the solid content of the polymer, pre-treated on the cotton fabric, and direct DTP printing was performed to compare the color and sharpness. As a result, it showed high color at a viscosity of 50cps or less. When the solid content of the polyacrylic acid having a high molecular weight(A1) was 2.5wt%, when the solid content of the polyacrylic acid having a low molecular weight(A2) was 1 - 1.5wt%, the color was the best. And when the solid content of A1 and A2 was 1.5wt%, the degree of spreading was small and A1 was superior to A2 at the sharpness.

Polyorganosiloxane 변성 폴리우레탄의 유변 특성 (Rheological Properties of Polyurethane Modified with Polyorganosiloxane)

  • 폴리우레탄 (ITPU) 실란트의 내후성 및 변색성 개선을 위하여 polyorganosiloxane변성 폴리우레탄 (UMPS)을 합성하고 이들의 유변 특성을 고찰하였다. 폴리우레탄에 도입되는 polyorgano-siloxane block (HBPS)의 함량을 증가시키면 주사슬의 HBPS 부분의 segregation에 의하여 ITPU//HBPS의 비가 70/30에서 점도가 가장 높음을 알 수 있으나 HBPS의 함량을 더 증가시키면 HHPS 주사슬의 유연성에 의하여 점도가 다시 감소함을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 UMPS는 기존의 폴리우레탄에 비하여 전단속도, 온도, 습도 및 경화 온도의 점도 의존성이 높음을 알 수 있었다. 아울러 MPS에 커플링제를 첨가할 경우 말단 Si(O$CH_3$)$_3$의 도입으로 경화가 촉진되나 이들의 함량이 0.5 wt% 이상 되면 말단 NCO기의 감소에 따라 경화가 늦어지며 그 결과, 전도가 급격히 감소함을 알수 있었다.

Novel thermoplastic toughening agents in epoxy matrix for vacuum infusion process manufactured composites

  • This study suggests the novel thermoplastic toughening agent, which can be applied in the monomer forms without increasing the viscosity of the epoxy resin and polymerized during the resin curing. The diazide (p-BAB) and dialkyne (SPB) compounds are synthesized and mixed with the epoxy resin and the carbon fiber reinforced epoxy composites are prepared using vacuum infusion process (VIP). Then, flexural and drop weight tests are performed to evaluate the improvement in the toughness of the prepared composites to investigate the potential of the novel toughening agent. When 10 phr of p-BAB and SPB is added, the flexural properties are improved, maintaining the modulus as well as the toughness is improved. Even with a small amount of polytriazolesulfone polymerized, due to the filtering effect of the solid SPB by the layered carbon fabrics during the VIP, the toughening and strengthening effect were observed from the novel toughening agent, which could be added in monomer forms, p-BAB and SPB. This suggests that the novel toughening agent has a potential to be used for the composites prepared from viscosity sensitive process, such as resin transfer molding and VIP.

Preparation and Properties of Waterborne Poly(urethane-urea) Ionomers -Effect of the Type of Neutralizing Agent-

  • A series of waterbome poly(urethane-urea) anionomers were prepared from isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI), polycaprolactone diol (PCL), dimethylol propionic acid (DMPA), ethylene diamine (EDA), and triethylamine (TEA), NaOH, or Cu($(COOCH_3)_2$) as neutralizing agent. This study was performed to decide the effect of neutralizing agent type on the particle size viscosity, hydrogen bonding index, adhesive strength, antistaticity, antibacterial and mechanical properties. The particle size of the dispersions decreased in the following order: TEA based samples (T-sample), NaOH based samples (N-sample), and Cu($(COOCH_3)_2$) based sample (C-sample). The viscosity of the dispersions increased in the order of C-sample, N-sample, and T-sample. Metal salt based film samples Of and C-sample) had much higher antistaticity than TEA based sample. By infrared spectroscopy, it was found that the hydrogen bonding index (or fraction) of samples decreased in the order of T-sam-pie, N-sample, and C-sample. The adhesive strength and tensile modulus/strength decreased in the order of T-sample, N-sam-pie, and C-sample. The C-sample had strong antibacterial halo, however, T- and N-samples did not
