Telemanipulator became one of refocused fields with the help of various technology integration concerned. As one of key technologies much simpler opeartion of manipulator by operators and feedback method to operator can be counted. For such purpose virtual reality techniques are being implemented and in this paper tactile feeling among human 5 feelings will be discussed. Movement manipulation in free space and gripper manipulation methods are discussed in combination with operator's organs. Tactile signal of telemanipulator's gripper is also integrated into tactile VR control system. Such tactile VR technology is regarded as one of important roles for advanced robot technology.

This paper deals with a reference model for a process-oriented parts supply company From the view point of SCM(Supply Chain Management), the model focuses on the integration of order management and manufacturing information. The model, considering the characteristics of manufacturing processes, separates the execution level from the planning level, and then introduces a virtual process to efficiently link the two levels. The model is operated to maximize its flexibility by the separation of planning and execution. A case study shows that our model significantly increases the productivity of the company.

This thesis is about the design and implementation of the system for controlling Avatar, user's alter ego in a simulated world using the EAI(External Authoring Interface) technology to be able to control VRML(Virtual Reality Modeling Language). In this thesis, user's Avatar described in VRML language embodied interactions to move and show an expression by JAVA according to a user's demand. In the future, this would be able to develop into a research to try to embody and construct a simulated society based on web for the purpose of various integration of society such as cyber government, lecture, trial performance, and auction.

Cim realization for the machinery manufacturing plant has several problems such as a lack of the adaptibity for system integration of the production machines, a lack of the flexibility for the information flow and a lack of the interchangeability fot the variety of the interchange information. In the paper the development of VMD for the object oriented machine tool in Cim enviroment is accomplised. FOr this purpose VMD is constructed in PC with NT 3.51/OS enviroment by using the exculsive comunication board and PLC for the conventional CNC machine tool that VMD support is not available. And also RS232 interface between VMD and CNC's and DNC 2 comunication board supplied by FANUC for two types of CNC are used. This developed VMD is very useful for CIM construction in the shop floor having the multi-vendor CNC controllers.

In this paper, Integrated development environments interface was designed and implemented for the integrated development environments. By using connection interface, Integration between physical prototyping and virtual prototyping which has different characteristics each other could be possible. Specially, good performance of the connection interface was showed by testing result of operation implemented.

Recently, there are lots of concerning on the integration of robot and virtual reality with the trends of the research of intelligent robot and mined reality. In this paper, a 3D GUI system is proposed based on Internet for remote controlling and monitoring of agent robot working for itself. The proposed system is consists of a manager ordering a new position and displaying the motion of robot, an agent robot moving to the destination according to the indication, a positioning module detecting the current position of robot, and a geographical information module. A user can order the robot agent move to a new position in a virtual space and watch the real images captured from the real sites of the robot. Then, the agent robot moves to the position automatically with avoiding collision by using range finding and a path detection algorithm. We demonstrate the proposed 3D GUI system is supporting a more convenient remote control means far the robots.

Today's product development requires simultaneous satisfaction of low cost, high quality and fast time to market. It is, however, difficult for product designers and engineers to achieve this goal due to too many requirements. This study shows integrated Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) approach can help to achieve such goal. CAE can not only support designers when decision needs to be made during concept design period but also provide evaluation of the designed parts and guidance to the best design of products during detail design period. Furthermore, integration with virtual prototyping concept can reduce number of actual prototyping and consequently reduce product development cost and time considerably. In order to demonstrate its possibility, example of washing machine development using CAE and its results are presented in this study.

Recently, rising of the convergence of technologies such as IT, GIS, GPS, and Sensors is developing the new information environment which enables man-to-man, man-to-object and object-to-object to exchange information anywhere and anytime. The Korean government has made great efforts to implement the virtual government with development of the next generation technologies continually and dynamically. These efforts for implementing e-government can be summarized by the citizen centered, integrated services, the customized personalization, the intellectual services, and the integration and cooperation between each offices for providing those services. Therefore, we wish to present the model of wide-area intelligent information systems which can provide services to form the future of this virtual government with GIS infrastructure in this study.

본 논문에서는 임베디드 자바 가상 대신(Embedded Java Virtual Machine)과 임베디드 실시간 운영체제(Embedded Real-Time Operating System)인 iRTOS$^{TM}$를 통합하기 위한, 설계 및 구현 내용을 기술하고자 한다. 인터넷 가전을 위한 실시간 운영체제 기반의 통합 환경은 각 가정에서 사용하는 정보 가전 제품들을 인터넷에 연결하여 사용함으로써 사용자에게 좀 더 효율적이며. 편리한 서비스를 제공할 수 있다. 또한 어떠한 플랫폼에도 구애 받지 않고 동작 할 수 있는 자바를 실행하기 위한 내장형 JVM 의 추가로, 기존의 플랫폼 의존적인 방법을 벗어나 어떠한 가전 기기상해서도 자바로 개발된 모든 기능들을 동일한 조건으로 동작시킬 수 있다는 장점을 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 통합 설계서의 세부 내용과 통합 방법에 대해 언급하고자 한다.
