Communication breakdown has been mentioned causing a heavy burden for dementia caregivers. This study aims to inspect and structure the process and results of communication between people with dementia and their caregivers. The impeding/facilitating elements of communication are also extracted. Interviews with 21 of dementia care experts about the direct and indirect experiences of communication with people with dementia were analyzed based on the grounded theory. Results show that combination of the cognitive and communication decline of the people with dementia, confusing environment and caregivers' inappropriate attitude and lack of communication skills leads to communication breakdown and relations severance. Minimal contacts and task-oriented conversation results in conflicts and people with dementia's increasing agitation, anxiety and violent behaviors while understanding of individuality and listening with heart lead to recovered lucidity in the state of serious dementia, recovered pleasure and voluntary participation in the daily activities for people with dementia. Core paradigm was defined as 'Person Centered Care through relation formation'. There are 4 types of communication with people with dementia : partnering, patronizing, conflicting, avoiding types. Researchers suggest that Person Centered based communication skills be educated and trained for dementia caregivers.

Knives are most frequently used as weapons in violent crimes. Criminals leave behind knife sheaths made of paper and tape at crime scenes. It is difficult to develop fingerprints using tape attached to a porous surface, resulting in the need to explore effective techniques for identifying fingerprints as well as the distribution of fingerprints on each surface, when evidence such as paper knife sheaths are found. In this study, 50 knife sheaths were prepared. The cyanoacrylate fuming (CA fuming) method was applied to develop fingerprints on the non-adhesive side of the tape, and a dual-purpose 1,2-indanedione/Zn (1,2-IND/Zn) reagent was used to separate tape from paper while simultaneously developing fingerprints on the paper. The fingerprints on the adhesive side of the tape were developed using Wet Powder Black®. Using the R statistical analysis program (The R Foundation for Statistical Computing), we used a heat map to indicate the location of fingerprints developed from each surface. More fingerprints were detected at the ends than in the center of the adhesive side of the tape, and although the non-adhesive sides of tape and paper did not present clear distribution patterns, many fingerprints were developed that had sufficient clarity for personal identification. The results of this study may be applicable for processing evidence when paper sheaths are found at crime scenes.
Profiling is recognized as a representative application area of domestic criminal psychology, and the National Police Agency profiler is firmly established as a profession. However, compared to the social awareness, the recognition and utilization within the police is not high. In this study, we tried to identify factors affecting the intention to use profiling by identifying the perception of investigators who request and use profiling from a profiler when a violent incident occurs. To this end, the relationship between the perception of the importance of factors considered by investigators in the criminal investigation process and the attitude toward profiling on the intention to use profiling was verified through the path model. As a result of a survey of 340 police investigators, the investigator's perception of the importance of investigation elements was divided into two factors: the importance of normative investigative elements (evidence collection and legal judgment, etc.) and factual investigative elements (criminal analysis, criminal information system analysis, etc.). Among them, the importance of factual investigative elements were found to have a positive effect on the intention to use it by mediating the attitude toward profiling. On the other hand, in the case of the importance of normative investigative elements, it was found to have a negative effect on the attitude toward profiling. These results suggest that the perception that investigators have about investigation, which is their main work area, plays a role in determining whether to request profiling as well as attitude towards profiling. Based on the research results, strategies necessary to activate the use of profiling were discussed.
The coronavirus pandemic has brought about significant negative changes in our society to the point where it has to be divided into 'Before Corona'(BC) and 'After Corona'(AC). Typical examples include economic difficulties and medical inequality of some social excluded groups as well as individuals who die alone because they are alienated from social networks, and hate and violent discrimination against Asian immigrants, which are rapidly increasing in Western countries in these days. In addition, the pandemic is at a global level, ranging from the vaccine gap between the first and third worlds, triggered by competition for securing vaccines between countries that put their own interests first, the income gap due to changes in the economic environment and financial market, and the bankruptcy of individuals and corporations. In 'all'(pan) and 'people'(demos) became a limit situation that could not be avoided. There is also the opinion that the world could witness the worst catastrophe if the pandemic spreads to poor countries at risk of increasing violence, poverty and famine. The purpose of this paper is to examine the changes in society caused by the Coronavirus pandemic and to suggest the direction of Christian education accordingly. To this end, this paper analyzes the medical, economic, and psychological crises that society faces in the post-corona era. Next, we look at the changes in Christian theology, mission, and worship, which are strongly required for fundamental changes in the context of the pandemic. Based on the above discussion, we propose a new direction for Christian education necessary in the post-corona era.
It is the aim of present paper to examine the effects of experienced violence and observed violence in original family on adaptation in college students. In addition, the degree of contribution of two types of aggression in family were examined. Participants were 220 college students. Among them, those who have experienced violence from mother are 60.3%. And 52.3% reported violence from father. Those who have observed their parents violent behavior are 28.8%. These childhood 'experienced violence' and 'observed violence' was significantly associated early adulthood adaptation. But its effect is dependent on participant's sex. Experienced violence from mother is positively related to confidence in scholastic achievement in female. Experienced violence from father is positively related to trumatic symptoms and trait anxiety in male. On the other hand, observed violence showed significant relationship with traumatic symptoms, impulsivity, depression, self-esteem and trait anxiety. Most importantly, multiple regression analysis showed observed violence explains early adulthood adaptation more significantly than experienced violence. The discussion addressed implications of the findings for future research and for clinical practice.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the degree of link with internet media and a internet addiction disposition of adolescents. The subjects were 500 students attending to middle and high schools consisted of male and female. The instruments were "the questionnaire on the present conditions of internet use" consisted of 14 items(Cronbach's α=.71) and "the internet addiction rating scale" consisted of 20 items(Cronbach's α=.73). These questionnaire were revised by this researcher. For data analysis, chisqure and ANOVA were used. The main results were as follows. First, a boy students and the vocational high school and the middle school each have more negative response than a girl students and the humanistic high schools in the present conditions of internet use and the judgement on a harmful object of internet space. Second, a boy students have higher than a girl students in an internet addiction disposition. Third, an internet addiction related with the times link with internet, the type of internet game, and the content of internet space(a lustful and violent objects). The various methods for the prevent with the internet addiction of adolescents discussed with based on the previous studies.

With the advancement of ICT (Information and Communication Technology), searching for judgments through the internet has become increasingly convenient. However, predicting sentencing based on judgments remains a challenging task for individuals. This is because sentencing involves a complex process of applying aggravating and mitigating factors within the framework of legal provisions, and it often depends on the subjective judgment of the judge. Therefore, this research aimed to develop a model for predicting sentencing using artificial intelligence by focusing on structuring the data from judgments, making it suitable for AI applications. Through theoretical and statistical analysis of previous studies, we identified variables with high explanatory power for predicting sentencing. Additionally, by analyzing 50 legal judgments related to serious crimes that are publicly available, we presented a framework for extracting essential information from judgments. This framework encompasses basic case information, sentencing details, reasons for sentencing, the reasons for the determination of the sentence, as well as information about offenders, victims, and accomplices evident within the specific content of the judgments. This research is expected to contribute to the development of artificial intelligence technologies in the field of law in the future.
This study is to illuminate the problem of shadows and evil appearing in contemporary events in the midst of a period of upheaval through Inferno of Divine Comedy. First, the concept of shadow and evil were briefly summarized in analytical psychology and discussed the importance of considering the concepts with the empirical aspect of relativity and ethics in the field of psychotherapy. The 14th century, the age of Dante, was the embryonic period of the Renaissance beyond the end of the Middle Ages. It was when Dante, who was writing Divine Comedy, had to take off his persona forcibly and live in exile. In a nutshell, it was a transition period for both the individual and the collective. The dark forest is a nigredo, darkness and chaos we face in this transition, but it can be a place of transformation and rebirth. The three beasts (leopard, lion, and she-wolf) encountered in the forest can be considered as the instinctual images that Dante ignored and alienated, which the medieval Christian world had suppressed and eliminated. Especially at the collective level, as destructive instincts, ferocious beasts roam throughout society when a crisis breaks dominant laws of values. The three beasts of Inferno appear as phenomena of shadows and evil. The aspect of leopard was explored Cerberus and Chiaco(pig) as a symbol of greed, and the lion, Farinata as the form of violent passion. The aspect of the she-wolf was examined as Geryon, a deceitful monster with a beast nature hidden behind goodness, the giants in the frozen lake of Cocytus, and Branca D'Oria, who betrayed and murdered the country and family. Inferno reveals the "state" of being trapped when one yields to the evil hidden within oneself and falls into prey.
This study addresses the crucial role of Christian Religious Education (CRE) amidst civic polarization, moral disimagination, and learned helplessness. It begins her personal background as a 1.5-generation Vietnamese American and her academic engagement in immigrant faith and the challenges of teaching faith in violent contexts. Recently the request of the patients to participate in the medical courses has been expanding due to the elevated sense of right on the people's health, merchandised medical treatment by mass supply, human right declaration of the patients, generalized medical informations by the mass media and the change of human relation between the medical personnels and the patients. Under these phenomena the patients have been in the thought of solving such accidents only by regulation of the laws which they think to be all powerful, Such trends are same in the area of nursing service. Also today the accident by the nurses have been increasing by the area of the nurses having been expanded and their independent roles having been increased. Such nursing accidents are the important subject which the professional occupation of the nurse has been facing but legal protective capability of the nurses has been very weak. Therefore this study has examined the degree of the experience of the nursing accident that happens in the clinical nursing scenes in the general hospital to provide the basic materials for the protection and the counter measures of the nursing accident. The following is the conclusion based by the above examination. 1) The experience degree of the whole nursing accidents has been appeared as 1.90 in average. And the degree according to service area has been 1.77 in the area of supervising management of patients, 1.54 in the area of the same management of patients by head-nurses, 1.84 in the area of doctors' treatment performances, 14 in the enforcement and education areas of the nursing technology, 2.04 in the area of observing patients and judgement and 2.07 in the area of nursing records and maintaining confidentials. Accordingly there has been higher degree of accidental experiences in the independent service areas of the patients than in the dependent ones directed by the doctors. 2) The perception of the nurses showed that the cause of the nursing accident has been due to the heavy work of the nurses with the 60.4% of the response rate, the highest rate. They report the accident to the head nurse first by 2/3 nurses after accident. And the hour of the accident has been frequently happened regardless of service hours with 48.1% in response rate, the highest rate, and the nursing accident happens in the night more than the daytime with the rate of 37.5% at night while 14. 4% daytime. 3) The nurses are in the perception that the patients are responsible for the accident with 48.2% response rate while 43.9% rate in response showed that it has been caused by many people. They are in the perception that 41.7% when the nursing power was lacking, 46.7% lower recognition of actual state about indivitual patient in the section of technical speciality and 35.8% when the patients were not cooperative and 37.8% when the wards were dirty and in disorder. 4) the attitude of the patients after the various nursing accidents has been violent words in 72.7%, violence in 17.4% and 3.9% in attending the court by the sue of the patient's side(18 nurses). 5) The action of the hospital has been : requesting the submission of the story of the accident in 22.8%, the report of the accidents in 14.4%, thus the written statement disposal was most, 4.5% was the transfer to the other departments when the accident was larger or the patients' guardians protested strongly and 0.6% of the dismissals of the nurses. 6) In regard to the responsiblity of the nurse accidents, 78.9% was the highest rate of supplying the nursing manpowers, 48.4% of mutual cooperation of the medical personnels, 37.2% of strengthening the education for the nurses and hospital facilities reformation in 32.7%. 7) The review of relation between the general characters of the object of the study and the degree of experience of nursing accidents showed the significant differences in ages (F=4.04, p=0.000).
