황산바륨의 최적합성조건 (Optimal Synthesis Conditions of Barium Sulfate)

  • Optimal synthetic conditions of barium sulfate were investigated from the viewpoint of yield and bulkiness according to a randomized complete block design proposed by Box and Wilson. Barium chloride and Sodium sulfate were utilized as reactants in order to prepare barium sulfate in this study. The optimum Synthesis conditions of barium sulfate obtained from this study are as follows; Reactant temperature; 60~75$^{\circ}C$ (viewpoint of yield) and 60~71$^{\circ}C$ (viewpoint of bulkiness). Concentration of two reactants; 12.7~14.4% (viewpoint of yield) and 5~10.5% (viewpoint of bulkiness). Mole ratio of two reactants, [BaCl$_2$]/[Na$_2$SO$_4$]; 1.62~1.96 (viewpoint of yield) and 2.0 (viewpoint of bulkiness). Reacting time; 13~15 minutes (viewpoint of yield) and 12~14 minutes (viewpoint of bulkiness). Drying temperature of product; 86~10$0^{\circ}C$ (viewpoint of yield) and 6$0^{\circ}C$ (viewpoint of bulkiness).

조망점의 선정기준과 경향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Criteria and Trends in Selecting Viewpoint)

  • The purpose of this study is to construct the fundamental data for setting a valid viewpoint as the base of landscape planning and management practices. To do this, we analyzed the preceding dissertations and landscape plan reports which presented the selection criteria of viewpoint. 37 research samples containing the criteria of viewpoint were investigated. The selection criteria and trends of viewpoint were analyzed as follows : Firstly, by analyzing the preceding researches we were able to grasp the criteria that had been used to set viewpoint. Secondly, we investigated the differences in criteria of selecting the viewpoint according to the research type, research time and view object. Finally, we analyzed the trends of viewpoint selection criteria and classified the characteristics and selection criteria of viewpoint based on an overview of the research content. It can be concluded that the criteria of viewpoint are intimately linked to the view object, the purpose and role of viewpoint which is related to the landscape planning and management practices. According to this study, we can find that the selection criteria and trends of viewpoint have been used in the research related to the view plane following the 1990's. Hereafter, additional research and the comparisons with researches abroad is necessary to set the objective selection criteria of viewpoint.

디지털 게임 시점의 특징과 사용 이유 분석: 왜 게임들은 1인칭 시점보다 3인칭 시점을 더 많이 사용하는가? (Analyses on Characteristics and Usage of Digital Game Viewpoint: Why do Games use Third-person Viewpoint more often than First-person Viewpoint?)

  • 게임의 시점은 사용자의 몰입감을 결정하는 중요한 요소이며, 다양한 시점들 중 사용자들은 1인칭 시점에서 가장 높은 몰입감을 경험한다고 알려져 있다. 그러나 실제 게임에서는 1인칭 시점보다 3인칭 시점을 더 많이 사용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 게임에서 3인칭 시점이 더 선호되는 이유에 대해 분석해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 기존에 알려진 세 가지 시점 (1, 3인칭, 전지적)과 카메라와 캐릭터간의 거리 (근접, 원격)의 조합으로 여섯 가지 시점을 정의하였다. 조사 대상은 최근 10년간 발매된 게임 중 높은 평점을 받은 100개의 게임이며, 각 시점을 선택한 게임의 빈도와 장르별 시점 선택빈도를 분석하였다. 그 결과 예상대로 전체적으로 3인칭 시점이 1인칭 시점보다 더 많이 사용되었다. 그러나 장르에 따라 선호하는 시점이 달랐는데, 예를 들어 슈팅게임의 경우에는 대부분의 게임이 1인칭 근접 시점을 사용하였다. 이 결과는 게임의 특성과 함께 시야 범위가 시점 선택에 영향을 미쳤기 때문으로 해석할 수 있다. 즉, 시점의 선택에서 개발자는 몰입감뿐만 아니라 게임을 이용하기 용이한 시야를 선택하기 때문에 많은 게임들에서 3인칭이 사용된다고 결론내릴 수 있다.

시점 변화에 강인한 실루엣 기반 게이트 인식 (Silhouette-based Gait Recognition for Variable Viewpoint)

  • Gait is defined as "a manor of walking". It can used as a biometric measure to recognize known persons. Gait is an idiosyncratic feature determined by an individual's weight, stride length, and posture combined with characteristic motion. but its feature extracted from images varies with the viewpoint. In this paper, we propose a gait recognition method using a planer homography, which is robust for viewpoint variation. We represent an individual as key-silhouettes. And we endow key-silhouettes with weight calculated using the characteristic of PCA. Experimental result shows that proposed method is robust for viewpoint variation as images synthesised same viewpoint.

Affine Local Descriptors for Viewpoint Invariant Face Recognition

  • Face recognition under controlled settings, such as limited viewpoint and illumination change, can achieve good performance nowadays. However, real world application for face recognition is still challenging. In this paper, we use Affine SIFT to detect affine invariant local descriptors for face recognition under large viewpoint change. Affine SIFT is an extension of SIFT algorithm. SIFT algorithm is scale and rotation invariant, which is powerful for small viewpoint changes in face recognition, but it fails when large viewpoint change exists. In our scheme, Affine SIFT is used for both gallery face and probe face, which generates a series of different viewpoints using affine transformation. Therefore, Affine SIFT allows viewpoint difference between gallery face and probe face. Experiment results show our framework achieves better recognition accuracy than SIFT algorithm on FERET database.

  • For bringing about a revolution in studying the classic literature the positivism must be overcome and the imaginative power about the history, literature and religion must be exercised. The theme of the monk-mask-play had been interpreted from the both viewpoint; the traditional mask play is the profane drama, but, on the other hand, it is the sacred drama. Judging from the social viewpoint, the sexual union of the old monk and the beauty symbolizes the reconciliation between the governing class and the production class. Judging from the viewpoint of the equalitarianism, that symbolizes the harmony of a masculinity and a femininity. Judging from the viewpoint of the education, that symbolizes the unification of reason and sensitivity. Judging from the viewpoint of the religion, that means the resurrection.

물활론적 관점의 환경수업이 초등학생들의 환경인식에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Environmental Class with Animistic Viewpoint on Elementary Students' Environmental Awareness)

  • The aim of this study is to clarify what influence has on elementary school children's environmental awareness in time of teaching environmental problems from an animistic viewpoint and from non-animistic viewpoint. For this purpose, this study carried out its research targeting 126 students in fourth grade at M elementary school located in U Metropolitan City. This study suggested the environmental problems by re-edifying the already suggested environmental problems from an animistic viewpoint to 62 students for two classes which were classified as an experimental group after sampling 10 cases of the representative environmental problems that might derive from the earth system, and conducted the class on 10 main topics relevant to the problematic situation of environment with an animistic viewpoint excluded targeting the remaining 64 students forming a comparison group. The results of this study were as follows: First, there appeared an ex-ante ex-post statistically significant difference in the awareness of environmental problems from the experimental group which received an environmental class from an animistic viewpoint. However, there didn't appear a statistically significant difference from the comparison group. This study interprets this result to mean that elementary students' awareness of environmental problems increase because they think about the environmental problems by associating them with a problem of life when the students receive the environmental class from an animistic viewpoint. Second, there appeared an ex-ante ex-post statistically significant difference in the awareness of environmental problems from the experimental group which received an environmental class from an animistic viewpoint. However, there didn't appear a statistically significant difference from the comparison group. Regarding this aspect, this study believes that the experimental group shows much higher willingness to environmental act in comparison with the comparison group because elementary school students think of inanimate objects as living things.

WALK-THROUGH VIEW FOR FTV WITH CIRCULAR CAMERA SETUP

  • In this paper, we propose a method to generate a free viewpoint image using multi-viewpoint images which are taken by cameras arranged circularly. In past times, we have proposed the method to generate a free viewpoint image based on Ray-Space method. However, with that method, we can not generate a walk-through view seen from a virtual viewpoint among objects. The method we propose in this paper realizes the generation of such view. Our method gets information of the positions of objects using shape from silhouette method at first, and selects appropriate cameras which acquired rays needed for generating a virtual image. A free viewpoint image can be generated by collecting rays which pass over the focal point of a virtual camera. However, when the requested ray is not available, it is necessary to interpolate it from neighboring rays. Therefore, we estimate the depth of the objects from a virtual camera and interpolate ray information to generate the image. In the experiments with the virtual sequences which were captured at every 6 degrees, we set the virtual camera at user's choice and generated the image from that viewpoint successfully.

수학의 발달과정과 그 결과에 대한 변증법적 유물론에 의한 분석 (An analysis on the development processes of mathematics and the results by dialectical materialism)

  • 수학교육은 교육과정과 같은 제도와 그것을 반영하는 교과서 등의 도구로 이루어진다. 그러한 제도나 도구는 인간이 만든다. 그러므로 그것들을 만드는 사람의 수학관은 중요한 요소로 작용한다. 수학관은 수학을 하고, 배우는 동안에 형성되지만, 형성된 수학관은 수학을 하고 가르치는데 영향을 미친다. 따라서 수학교육에 관계된 사람들이 어떠한 수학관을 가지고 있느냐 하는 것은 중요한 요인이다. 이 글은 수학관으로서 변증법적 유물론에 입각한 관점을 제시한다. 수학의 발달과정과 그 결과에 변증법적 유물론이 관철되고 있다. 곧, 수학 지식은 양질전화, 대립물의 통일과 투쟁, 부정의 부정이라는 변증법적 유물론의 기본 법칙에 따라 발전해왔다. 수학에 대한 이러한 관점은 수학을 절대주의적, 상대주의적으로 보는 것과 다른 수학교육의 관점을 제공할 것이다. 이 글은 수학을 유물론의 관점과 변증법의 관점으로 분리하여 살폈다. 분석의 편의를 위해 그렇게 하였을 뿐이다.

Digital Watermarking Algorithm for Multiview Images Generated by Three-Dimensional Warping

  • In this paper, we propose a watermarking method for protecting the ownership of three-dimensional (3D) content generated from depth and texture images. After selecting the target areas to preserve the watermark by depth-image-based rendering, the reference viewpoint image is moved right and left in the depth map until the maximum viewpoint change is obtained and the overlapped region is generated for marking space. The region is divided into four subparts and scanned. After applying discrete cosine transform, the watermarks are inserted. To extract the watermark, the viewpoint can be changed by referring to the viewpoint image and the corresponding depth image initially, before returning to the original viewpoint. The watermark embedding and extracting algorithm are based on quantization. The watermarked image is attacked by the methods of JPEG compression, blurring, sharpening, and salt-pepper noise.
