차륜형 장갑차용 가변형 사판식 피스톤 펌프 케이스의 구조해석 및 설계검증에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Structural Analysis and Design Verification of Variable Swash Plate Piston Pump Case for Wheeled Armored Vehicle)

  • The objective of this study was to reverse engineer a swash plate type piston pump mounted on a wheeled armored vehicle and to analyze the structure of the pump case. From the analysis, the weak parts were identified and corrected in the final design. Each element corresponding to the piston pump case was analyzed. The analytical method was given static boundary conditions, load conditions and confirmed displacement, strain, stress, and safety factor. Plastic deformation and damage were also confirmed and the component elements redesigned through structural analysis Structural analysis and vibration analysis were carried out for the components of the piston pump case. The piston pump model was finally modified by structural analysis and vibration analysis results for each component assembly, and a prototype was designed. Durability test and environmental test were carried out and the test results satisfied all of the requirements. Therefore, the analytical method presented in this study can be utilized as a methodology for element component design in the development of various piston pumps.

  • The component and system of modern Railroad vehicles are advanced and complex. Maintenance policy is scientific and must be performed systematic. A vehicle operation and maintenance must become statistical analysis method. We must apply RAMS and System Engineering. We must apply the RCM theory in the maintenance management. The vehicle failure and maintenance charge must be reduced to a minimum. When we purchase the vehicle or component, we must reflect the technology. Also such system must be constructed. We will do technique development with the deed of such serial.

플라이휘일 하이브리드 차량의 다경로 동력전달장치 연구 (A Study on Multi Pass Transmission System for a Flywheel Hybrid Vehicle)

  • In this paper, using MATLAB SIMULINK, a generalized design methodology was suggested for multi pass transmission(MPT) by classifying the vehicle power train as prime mover, MPT and vehicle dynamics. This approach enables a designer to investigate the influence of each transmission component by simple combination of system components without changes of overall program. Using the design methodology, a MPT consisting of CVT, 2, clutches and reduction gears was designed for a braking energy regenerative flywheel hybrid vehicle. The CVT is essential in order to connect the engine and flywheel speed with the vehicle speed. For the purpose of smooth clutch operation, control algorithm was suggested by introducing dead zone for the clutch engagement. Using the SIMULINK model, performance of the flywheel hybrid vehicle with MPT was investigated. It was observed from the simulation results that the MPT vehicle showed better fuel economy, 47% than that of AT vehicle, 27% than that of CVT vehicle for ECE-15 driving cycle. Especially destinct fuel efficiency improvement was obtained for city driving cycle requiring more frequent stop and start.

  • Railway vehicle have three translational motions-longitudinal, vertical and lateral, and three rotational motions-rolling, pitching and yawing caused by track irregularity, wheel and rail characteristic, dynamic behaviors etc. The rolling motion in vehicle mainly happens in cases of the vehicles stationary and running on canted track. When the vehicle positioned in stationary on canted track, vehicle is inclined toward inside of installed cant due to gravity component. When the vehicle has running on a track with cant deficiency, vehicle is inclined toward outside of installed cant due to centrifugal force. The roll coefficient(s) is defined as the ratio between the angle of inclination of the vehicle($\eta$) and the angle of the rail level($\alpha$).   • In this paper, the component loss models of the electric vehicle(EV) and the internal combustion engine vehicle(ICEV) are developed to analyze the losses and efficiencies of these two types of vehicles. The EV powertrain efficiency decreases as the vehicle velocity increases over most of the vehicle velocity range because the battery efficiency decreases. Especially, the EV powertrain efficiency decreases significantly when the battery SOC is low. But the ICEV powertrain efficiency increases as the vehicle velocity increases. This is because the efficiencies of both the transmission and engine increases.

  • This paper deals with an unmanned vehicle system configuration using all terrain vehicle. Many research institutes and university study and develop unmanned vehicle system and control algorithm. Now a day, they try to apply unmanned vehicle to use military device and explore space and deep sea. These unmanned vehicles can help us to work is difficult task and approach. In the previous research of unmanned vehicle in our lab, we used 1/10 scale radio control vehicle and composed the unmanned vehicle system using ultrasonic sensors, CCD camera and kinds of sensor for vehicle's motion control. We designed lane detecting algorithm using vision system and obstacle detecting and avoidance algorithm using ultrasonic sensor and infrared ray sensor. As the system is increased, it is hard to compose the system on the 1/10 scale RC car. So we have to choose a new vehicle is bigger than 1/10 scale RC car but it is smaller than real size vehicle. ATV(all terrain vehicle) and real size vehicle have similar structure and its size is smaller. In this research, we make unmanned vehicle using ATV and explain control theory of each component

  • Transmission of a tracked vehicle designed for multiple functions such as steering, gear-shifting, and braking is a core component of heavy vehicle to which the power is transferred based on combined technology of various gears, bearing, and fluid machineries. Robustness and durability of transmission, however, have been issued due to a large number of driving units and sub-components inside its body. Particularly, transmission housing is important structure which supports the transmission, and is made of aluminum alloy. Thus, structural robustness against such mechanical loading or vibration must be attained. Structural reliability evaluation through FEM analysis can save time and cost of the actual tests. In this study, structural evaluation is conducted on output housing of transmission, which is core component of tracked vehicle, using the simulation program. In addition, transmission dynamo test is performed to evaluate structural robustness of the output housing against the vibration which can be produced during the transmission operation.

  • 인터넷 기반의 광역화 물류환경인 e-Logistics에서 요구하는 가시성을 충족하기 위해서는 지역별 전자지도 및 차량 위치정보에 대한 공유와 통합이 필수적이다. 기존의 대부분의 차량관제시스템들은 독자적인 체계를 중심으로 구축되었기 때문에 정보의 공유와 통합을 위해서는 막대한 비용이 필요하다. 이를 효과적으로 해결하기 위해서 본 논문에서는 XML 엔코딩 표준인 GML을 이용하여 이동체 위치정보와 지도정보의 프리젠테이션을 위한 컴포넌트 기반의 개방형 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 아울러 e-Logistics 환경의 배송 시나리오를 통한 실험을 통해 확장성 및 상호 운용성에 대한 우수성을 확인하였다.

  • The EV electric vehicle market is growing rapidly worldwide. An electric vehicle means a vehicle that uses energy charged through an electricity source as power. The precision of the press is important to mass-produce the drive motor, which is a key component of the electric vehicle. The size of the driving motor is increasing, and The size of the mold is also growing. In this study, the precision of large high-speed presses for mass production of driving motors was measured. A study was conducted on the measurement method of press and the analysis of measurement data. A drive motor is a component that transmits power by converting electrical energy into kinetic energy. EV driven motors have key material properties to improve efficiency. The material properties are the thickness of the material. As a method for improving performance, use a 0.2mm thin steel sheet. Mold is also becoming larger. As the mold grows, the size of the high-speed press for mass production of the driving motor is also increasing. Also, the precision of the press is the most important because it uses a thin iron plate material. So the importance of large press precision is being emphasized.
