  • this paper, to represent the robot motion approximately in space, delas with algorithm for position recognition of space robot, target and obstacle with vision system in 2-D. And also there are algorithms for precise distance-measuring and calibration usign laser displacement system, and for trajectory selection for optimizing moving to object, and for robot locomtion with air-thrust valve. And the software synthesizing of these algorithms hleps operator to realize the situation certainly and perform the job without any difficulty.

비례유량제어밸브 네트워크 제어기 설계 (Design of Network Controller for Proportional Flow Control Solenoid Valve)

  • Proportional control solenoid is a type of modulating valve that can continuously control the valve position with magnetic force of solenoid. Recent microcontroller based digital servocontroller for proportional valve is being developed toward the smart valve with additional features such as enhanced control algorithm for finer process and intelligent on-board diagnosis for maintenance. In this paper, development of servocontroller network control with CAN bus which is free from problems of security and network traffic jam is presented. Design of network control system includes modes of communication between master and slave, assignment of 29bit message identifier and message objects, transaction of communication sequence, etc. Monitoring function and control experiments for remote valve through CAN network prove the extended function of smart valve control system.

  • Electro-pneumatic servo valve is an electro-mechanical device which converts electric signals into a proper pneumatic flow rate or pressure. In order to improve the overall performance of pneumatic servo systems, electro-pneumatic servo valves are required, which have fast dynamic characteristics, no air leakage at a null point, and can be fabricated at a low-cost. The first objective of this research is to design and to fabricate a new electro-pneumatic servo valve which satisfies the above-mentioned requirements. In order to design the mechanism of the servo valve optimally, the flow inside the valve depending upon the position of spool was analyzed variously, and on the basis of such analysis results, the valve mechanism, which was formed by combination of the spool and the sleeve, was designed and manufactured. And a tester for conducting an overall performance test was designed and manufactured, and as a result of conducting the flow rate test, the pressure test and the frequency test on the developed pneumatic servo valve.

유동 강화형 밸브의 형상에 따른 정상 유동 특성 (Steady Flow Characteristics of Flow-Intensifying Valve Configurations)

  • The flow characteristics of 2-valve and 4-valve cylinder heads with various blocked-valve were experimentally investigated in a steady flow rig. Effects of the blocked-valve configurations on flow coefficient, swirl and tumble intensity are studied. Compared to the conventional valve, the blocked valve in both cylinder heads have the much lower flow coefficient and the much higher intensity of swirl and tumble. Under the same size of blockage, the value of flow coefficient and swirl(or tumble) intensity were varied according to the position of blockage. Throughout these steady flow test the optimized positions of blockage in both cylinder heads were determined.

밸브 디스크 차단비 변화가 버터플라이밸브의 손실계수에 미치는 영향에 관한 실험적 연구 (Effects of the Blockage Ratio of a Valve Disk on Loss Coefficient in a Butterfly Valve)

  • The loss coefficient of the butterfly valve which allows partial opening of the valve at closed position and is applicable to the small-sized pipe system with the diameter of 1 inch was measured for the variation of the valve disk blockage ratio. Two different types of the valve disk configuration to adjust the blockage ratio were considered. One was the solid type valve disk of which the diameter was changed into the smaller size rather than the pipe diameter, and the other was the perforate type valve disk on which some holes were perforated. The results from two types of valve disk were compared to identify their characteristics in the loss coefficient distributions. The loss coefficient and the controllable angle of the valve disk were decreased exponentially with the decrease of the blockage ratio. In addition, the perforate valve disk had the effect on the higher loss coefficient rather than the solid type valve disk.

Mitral Valve Replacement for Bulky, Calcified Mitral Annulus: A Case Report

  • Calcification of the mitral valve annulus is common in patients on dialysis. The growing number of individuals receiving dialysis has been accompanied by an increase in cases necessitating surgical intervention for mitral valve annulus calcification. In this report, we present a severe case characterized by bulky calcification of the mitral annulus, which was managed with mechanical mitral valve replacement. A 61-year-old man on dialysis presented with chest pain upon exertion that had persisted for 3 months. Cardiac echocardiography revealed severe mitral stenosis and regurgitation, accompanied by cardiac dysfunction. During surgery, an ultrasonic aspiration system was employed to remove the calcification of the mitral valve annulus to the necessary extent. Subsequently, a mechanical mitral valve was sutured into the supra-annular position. To address the regurgitation, the area surrounding the valve was sewn to the wall of the left atrium. Postoperative assessments indicated an absence of perivalvular leak and demonstrated improved cardiac function. The patient was discharged on postoperative day 22. We describe a successful mitral mechanical valve replacement in a case of extensive circumferential mitral annular calcification. Even with severe calcification extending into the left ventricular myocardium, we were able to minimize the decalcification process. This approach enabled the performance of mitral mechanical valve replacement in a high-risk patient on dialysis, thus expanding the possibilities for cardiac surgery.

  • 열선유속계를 이용하여 디이젤 기관 연소실내의 한점에서 유속을 측정한 결과는 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 연소실내의 유동은 cylinder의 원주방향의 속도 성분이 크며, 유속변화는 밸브 timing과 피스톤 속도등에 밀접한 관계가 있다. 2. 유속은 흡입시부터 증가하여 압축행정중 흡입밸브가 닫히는 60$^{\circ}$ABDC에서 최대치를 갖고 이후 피스톤의 속도가 감소함에 따라 유속도 감소하여 팽창행정중 배기 밸브가 열리는 120$^{\circ}$ATDC에서 다시 증가하였다. 3. 평균유속은 shroud 밸브 사용시가 no shroud 밸브 사용시보다 낮지만 shroud 밸브 사용시 흡입행정에서 난류강도가 가장 크게 나타났다. 4. 90$^{\circ}$shroud 밸브 사용시가 120$^{\circ}$shroud 밸브 사용시보다 난류강도는 더 크고, 90$^{\circ}$shroud의 180$^{\circ}$위치에서 난류강도가 제일 크게 나타났다.(이 논문의 결론부분임)

AR 방식을 이용한 밸브바디의 나사 조립 상태 검지 (Detecting the screw-assembly state of a valve-body using the AR method)

  • 본 연구에서는 자동차 밸브 바디 (valve body) 나사의 조립 상태를 검지하고 조립 작업을 보조하기 위한 증강현실 (AR) 앱을 개발하고 테스트를 통해 유효성을 보인다. 조립할 나사의 조립 위치와 순서 및 조립 상황들을 표시하는 컨텐츠들을 생성한 후 스마트 폰 화면의 밸브 바디 영상 위에 정합하여, 조립 도중에 작업자에게 보여준다. 이를 위해, 밸브 바디의 2차원 이미지로부터 특징 데이터를 추출하고 밸브 바디의 포즈를 알아낸다. 밸브 바디 위의 각 나사들이 조립될 영역의 영상을 추출하고 주기적으로 해당 영역의 휘도를 판별하며, 밸브 바디 위의 정해진 위치에 순서에 따라 각 나사들이 조립되고 있는 지를 확인한다. 미조립 또는 조립 순서 오류 등 조립 에러가 검지되면 경고 음이 발생되어, 작업자가 스마트 폰 화면에서 즉시 조립 상태를 확인하고 에러를 처리할 수 있다. 테스트를 통해 5개 나사의 조립 상태를 검지하는데 약 65ms가 걸리고 1시간 동안 오류 없이 조립 상태가 검지되는 것을 확인했다.
