Effects of Parental Support, Bicultural Acceptance, and Self-Esteem on Career Attitude Maturity of Multicultural Adolescents

  • At a time when children of multicultural families have begun to enter adolescence in Korea, this study examined the effects of parental support and bicultural acceptance on the career attitude maturity of multicultural adolescents. This study tried to derive the implications related to the career path of multicultural adolescents by verifying the effects of self-esteem on the relationship between parental support, bicultural acceptance, and career attitude maturity. Using the 8th Multicultural Adolescent Panel Survey data (MAPS), the relative influence of antecedent variables on career attitude maturity was confirmed by hierarchical regression analysis of the data from 1,197 respondents. Model 1 included gender and parental support, Model 2 added bicultural acceptance to Model 1, and Model 3 added self-esteem to Model 2. As a result of the study, in Model 1, women had higher career attitude maturity than men, and the more supportive their parents were, the more positive the level of career attitude maturity. The adjusted R2 of Model 1 was .058, which did not have much influence. In Model 2, gender, parental support, and bicultural acceptance had statistically significant effects on career attitude maturity, and the amount of change in F was also significant. The adjusted R2 of Model 2 was .132. In Model 3, parental support was not statistically significant, and gender, bicultural acceptance, and self-esteem had statistically significant effects on career attitude maturity. The amount of change in F was statistically significant and the adjusted R2 was .185. That is, it was confirmed that the more the women, the more the bicultural acceptance, and the higher the self-esteem, the more prepared and determined the career path. Based on the research results, the implications related to career preparation of multicultural adolescents were presented.

사회복지전공 대학생의 죽음에 대한 태도의 영향요인 (Factors Affecting the attitude to death of Social Welfare Students)

  • 본 연구는 사회복지전공 대학생의 죽음에 대한 태도의 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사 연구이다. 연구대상자는 2개 대학에 재학 중인 사회복지전공 대학생 179명을 대상으로 시행하였으며, 구조화된 설문지를 통해 자료 수집을 하였다. 수집한 자료는 기술통계와 t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlations, 다중회귀분석으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 사회복지전공 대학생의 삶의 의미(r=.34, p=.001)와 삶의 만족도(r=.61, p<.001), 회복탄력성(r=.65, p<.001)과 죽음에 대한 태도는 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 위계적 회귀분석을 실시한 결과 학년(β=.21, p=.002)과 삶의 만족도(β=.22, p=.013)가 주요 영향요인이었으며, 이 모델은 20.2%의 설명력을 나타내었다. 연구결과를 통해 사회복지 전공 대학생의 죽음에 대한 태도를 긍정적으로 변화시킬 수 있는 상담 및 지지프로그램과 죽음 관련 교육 프로그램의 개발이 이루어져야 할 것이다.

간호대학생이 지각한 부모의 양육태도가 감성지능, 문제해결능력에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Perceived Parenting Attitude on Emotional Intelligence and Problem-solving Ability of Nursing Stuents)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생이 지각한 부모의 양육태도, 감성지능, 문제해결능력의 변수 간 관계를 파악하고 간호대학생이 지각한 부모의 양육태도가 감성지능, 문제해결능력에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위한 서술연구이다. 연구대상자는 C도 J대학교에 재학 중인 간호대학생을 대상으로 2021년 11월 29일~12월 13일까지 총 2주 동안 총 134부를 회수하여 그 중 126부의 자료를 SPSS/WIN 22.0 program을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 부모의 양육 태도 중 애정적 양육태도가 감성지능(𝛽=.349, p=.001), 문제해결능력(𝛽=.255, p=.018)에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 각각 25.1%, 22.3%의 설명력을 보였다. 따라서 부모를 대상으로 교육할 때 부모의 양육태도 중 애정적 양육태도가 미래 간호사인 자녀의 감성지능과 문제해결능력을 향상시키는데 중요한 요소임을 알리고 바람직한 부모 역할 수행을 위한 부모교육의 기초 자료로 활용할 수 있겠다.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out effects of environmental expression programs using environmental resources of the areas in which students live so that it verified the effects by developing environmental expression programs using local environmental resources and then teaching the programs to local students. The findings are as follows. First, environmental experience programs using local environmental resources help elementary school students Environmental Literacy. Second, the programs have a positive effect on changes in the students' Pro-environmental Attitude.

  • In this paper, an attitude determination system(ADS) for KOMPSAT using GPS LI carrier phase measurements is considered. The baseline vector is estimated by the Exetnded Kalman Filter (EKF) which used the double differenced carrier phased measuremenmts made by three GPS receivers mounted on the spaceraft. The attitude angles of three axes of spacecrat are computed by the estimated baseline vectors, directly. The proposed ADS is verified by the simulation results.

  • In the three axis control of satellite by using reaction wheel and gyro, a reaction wheel produces the control torque by the wheel speed or momentum, and a gyro carries out measuring of the attitude angle and the attitude angular velocity In this study, dynamic modelling of the Low Earth Orbit (LEO) is consisted of the one from the rotational motion of the satellite with the basic rigid body and a flexible body model, and the gyro in addition to the reaction wheel model. The results obtained by the robust controller are compared with those of the PI (Proportional and Integration) controller which is commonly used for the stabilizing satellite.

  • In this paper, we present an attitude control of self-standing for a two-wheeled inverted-pendulum-like mobile robot based on the nonlinear control theory. Nonlinear dynamic equations are linearized by using the Lie derivative, and a pole placement controller is designed. Characteristics of the controller are examined by numerical simulations to show the self-standing attitude of the mobile robot in standing and in moving.

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop a more accurate attitude algorithm with low grade gyro output. The proposed algorithm estimates attitudes by combining accelerometer and gyro output. For performance improvement of the algorithm, a method of velocity compensation is proposed for a better attitude estimation which is calculated from the accelerometer output. Velocity compensation is done by using Kalman Filter to estimate another velocity component.

  • For that the attitude control performance test of the satellite, dynamic analysis of satellite structure performed in reference with KOREASAT, and the equation of motion of rigid bodies was derivated. For attitude stability, Lyapunov's stability theorem and state space expression were applied to dynamic equation of satellite. To prove efficiency of our method, simulations are performed and result are shown.

  • A VSC law is derived for the attitude control of an orbiting spacecraft in the presence of disturbance and parameters variation using reaction jets. The switching surface was chosen to be a linear function of tracking error, its derivative and integral. Simulation results are presented to show that in the closed-loop system, precise attitude control is accomplished in spite of uncertainty in the system.
