This study aims to identify which factors affect successful big data system construction, identify the relationship between the factors, and identify the success model and success factors necessary for public institutions to build big data systems. Therefore, the preceding and related studies related to this study were reviewed, and success factors for the establishment of a big data system were derived based on this. As a research method, a survey was conducted on users of institutions that have established or planned to build a big data system, and a structural equation (AMOS) was conducted to verify the impact relationship between success factors. As a result of the analysis, organizational support factors, development support factors, user support factors, information quality, service quality, system quality, use, and net benefit were derived as success factors for building big data systems, and a success model was presented. This can be seen as significant and academic contributions in that it is the first study of the success model for building an information system reflecting big data characteristics, and it is expected that this study will be used as basic data for building a big data system in public institutions in the future.

While small libraries have steadily increased in quantity, parts of qualitative growth such as lack of manpower and poor operation have been pointed out as problems. Accordingly, with the aim of establishing a foundation for linkage and cooperation between public libraries and small libraries, the small library itinerant librarians project has been promoted since 2010, and its scale has been continuously expanding. However, the lack of manpower and poor operation still remain tasks to be solved, and the poor treatment and job environment of itinerant librarians have not improved. In this context, this study aims to examine the problems of small libraries and job problems experienced by itinerant librarians and to find ways to improve the job environment of itinerant librarians based on this. Through the analysis of previous studies, small libraries and net companies were investigated, and in-depth interviews were conducted with participants related to itinerant librarians and small libraries. Through interview data analysis, a total of 17 meaning topics were extracted, including 'lack of work authority', 'lack of work manual', 'lack of communication, community', 'lack of integrated operating system', 'poor treatment and working environment', 'malicious user', and 'lack of belonging'. Based on this, four improvement measures were proposed, including the improvement of the job authority and standard regulations of itinerant librarians, the establishment of a community organization, job security guarantees, and job education reinforcement.

Smart mirror is an IoT device that attaches a display and an embedded computer to the mirror and provides various information to the user along with the mirror function. This paper presents performance evaluation of the CoMirror system as an extension of the previous research in which proposed and implemented the CoMirror system that connects Smart Mirrors using a network. First, the login performance utilizing face recognition was evaluated. As result of the performance evaluation, it was concluded that the 40 face images are most suitable for face learning and only one face image is most suitable for face recognition for login. Second, as a result of evaluating the message transmission time, the average time was 0.5 seconds for text, 0.63 seconds for audio, and 2.9 seconds for images. Third, as a result of measuring a video communication performance, the average setup time for video communication was 1.8 seconds and the average video reception time was 1.9 seconds. Finally, according to the performance evaluation results, we conclude that the CoMirror system has high practicality.

This study aims to find a way to realize gender identity in product design. After reviewing the present research, it was found out that it is necessary to extend notion of gender and to redefine the concept of gender design. Specific products were selected in order to analyze the characteristics of femininity. Refrigerators, which represent the femininity the best, were chosen and analyzed based on the graphic elements. As a result, the concept of gender have been used quite limitedly in a refrigerator. Since the stereotype of women has already been implicit, it was considered difficult to propose an alternative plan for realizing the extended concept of gender. Therefore, digital devices have been proposed for a potential alternative group. This product group, of course, has a limitation like the refrigerators. However, when functions, frequency of use, and use of space are considered in depth, It can be a possible group that holds the meaning of gender in design. This study is significant that it attempted to examine the possibility of convergence in identity and usability when the graphic elements of a product are constructed by gender design that considers the identity of a user through redefining the concept of gender.

Sales for SPA brand names of private label apparels are on the rise in the domestic clothing market. The aim of this study is to analyze the characteristics of SPA brands and how each color system is proposed within the BI system. In this study, 8 brands were selected as the most popular SPA brands in Korea and abroad with stores based on brand power and sales and preference by consumers. Therefore, among information factors such as brand identity (BI) and color characteristic. sign system, package, and environmental factors, buildings facade and interior design of eight brands were investigated. Research into color application of BI revealed that four brands used red colors with different tones with different identity differentiation. For the other four brands, the company applied BI designs that gained the brand's character such as a black-and-white or dark blue one. Thus, it is considered important to select BI color in order to differentiate and enhance preferences in brand identity.

The future population of Korea is expected to reach the second highest level in the world by 2060 for the elderly. It is because of the rapid development of low fertility and medical technology. The burden of society for the elderly is expected to increase steadily. The elderly person firstly appears functional disorder. They have low ability in memory and in cognitive will be. Their activities are therefore limited. And economic production capacity is sharply reduced. Self-sufficiency is a difficult situation. They need help in economic and social aspects. Products for them need research and development. The elderly have a Mild Cognitive Impairment(MCI) stage with poor cognitive abilities. It is effective to combine pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment methods for people with mild cognitive impairment. The effects of non-pharmacological treatments on music have been proven. This paper is a study on the appearance from the viewpoint of design in the development of ancillary instruments using music therapy techniques with Digital Convergence. For this study, we investigated the preference for external appearance of mild cognitive impairment. Two times surveys were conducted. As a result, the design of home care product for the hard cognitive impaired was different from that of a conventional game machine or set top box. It should be designed according to the user's special circumstances. They are memory and cognitive abilities. Products that meet physical and mental changes must be developed.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the current status of hospital life guides in Korean and overseas hospitals, draw problems, and propose a design improvement. in order to improve the visual convenience and efficiency of information delivery of hospital life guidelines. As a result of examining and analyzing the current status of the notice on hospital life in 16 hospitals at home and abroad, problems such as information selection without certain standard, increase of items due to unnecessary items, and forms that do not consider the convenience for notice use were discovered. In order to solve them, this study suggested a survey questionnaire for finding detailed improvements, and it divided the participants into two groups of 50 patients/nurses and 50 nurses in each. The study carried out a user awareness investigation and survey on the efficiency and understanding of information, number and importance of items, and color and form, and then made another sample notice to conduct a detailed survey on color and form. As a result, the study could identify that important items for each users were different. It is considered that a new design with improved visual convenience of users and efficiency of information delivery, by applying layout and graphic elements as well as selecting information that meets consumer demand, will be proposed based on this.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of color image for establishing the color environment contributing to the promotion of public health in the public health facilities and to utilize it as data of public health color plan and index development. For this purpose, the results of the previous precedent studies were integrated and public health facilities were classified into medical facilities (general hospitals), health facilities (public health centers), and sub - healing facilities (elderly care facilities). We visited 18 public health facilities in total, measured the environmental color of with a spectroscopic, compared the results and the precedent studies results, and identified color image characteristics and future supplement points. The results are as follows. First, the previous studies related to the environment color image vocabulary of the public health facilities, it prefer comfortable, bright and positive image. Second, as a result of direct measurement the environmental color of the public health facilities, it is found that most of them use the high brightness and low saturation color of Y series. Third, as a result of analyzing vocabulary of environmental color image of public health facilities, 'natural' image showed the highest frequency, and other images such as 'gentle' and 'decent' appeared. It was difficult to understand the characteristics of the color image vocabularies of public health facilities. This study is a convergence study of color science and environmental design, and it extends the scope of multidisciplinary research related to design and it will be helpful in environmental planning on user's emotion.

The purpose of this study is to propose a Busan tourism industry in which the 2016 OECD Tourism policy and ICT convergence platform are applied. OECD proposed 3 policies to promote the tourism industry: First, to maintain the competitiveness of the tourism industry as well as improve its efficiency and sustainability, second, to establish a seamless traffic system, and third, to build a response to the sharing economy. Centering on the OECD's three policies, we propose the developmental possibilities of tourism in Busan. At the same time, we suggest the necessity to build an ICT convergence platform that will help foster the industry. In building an ICT convergence platform, we especially focus on the necessity of: 1. Sharing and creating experience-based interactive contents on the software side, and 2. Developing high quality user experience (UX) and providing a data analysis-based customized service on the hardware side. In addition, we insist on the establishment of the Tourism Promotion Agency for the continuous performance and management of Busan tourism industry. The study ultimately suggests that the construction of ICT convergence platform based on OECD tourism policy can result in the expected outcomes of high effects with low cost for both consumers and suppliers related to the tourism industry.

The metaverse is a virtual world where individuals engage in social, economic, and cultural activities using avatars, which represent an alternate version of oneself within the virtual realm. While the metaverse has garnered global attention recently, research exploring the identity manifested through avatars within the metaverse remains limited. This study investigates the influence of four IT artifact characteristics related to avatar usage in the metaverse-avatar representation, avatar copresence, avatar profiling, and avatar-space interaction-on perceived avatar identity verification. A survey was conducted with 196 experienced users of the Zepeto platform, and hypotheses were tested using structural equation modeling. The analysis results indicate that the use of IT artifacts enabling avatar representation, avatar copresence, and avatar-space interaction has a positive impact on perceived avatar identity verification. This achieved self-verification indirectly influences the satisfaction and subsequent intention to continue using the metaverse. This study contributes to the academic field by empirically verifying the metaverse technological factors that influence the projected identity onto avatars within the metaverse. Furthermore, it is expected to provide effective guidelines for metaverse platform companies in designing and implementing the metaverse.
