Construction on e-learning Platform of Smart Phone Environment (스마트폰 환경에서의 e-learning 플랫폼의 구축)

  • In recent years, a variety of learning content construction utilizing the smart phone is coming. In this paper, we investigate on overall trends and movements in e-learning performance at University. And system developed a e-learning platform consisting of smart phone portal, learning management system(LMS), and learning content management system(LCMS). Throughout the experiment, each of the components of the e-learning were implemented. LMS was implemented more efficiently using a user profile evaluation system for qualification.

  • 본 논문에서는 모바일용 맞춤형 웰니스 콘텐츠 추천을 위한 사용자 프로파일을 제안한다. 제안하는 프로파일에는 웰니스 콘텐츠를 제공받는 사용자의 웰니스 5 영역(신체, 정서, 사회, 지식, 정신) 각각의 선호도가 포함되어 있으며 사용자의 신변에 위험을 초래할 수 있는 신체적 제약 조건도 포함한다. 이 프로파일을 이용하면 사용자에게 맞춤형 웰니스 콘텐츠를 추천함에 있어 웰니스 5 영역을 모두 고려할 수 있으며 추가적으로 사용자의 질환 정보를 프로파일로 유지함으로서 사용자의 신체적 조건에 맞지 않는 콘텐츠를 선별하여 제외시키는 필터 및 안전 장치의 역할도 가능하게 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 동일한 분야의 검색된 문서가 갖는 하나의 성향을 중심으로 문서들 자체가 가지고 있는 관계성을 분석하여 용어의 가중치를 결정하였다. 그리고 사용자의 관심분야와 선호도를 적절히 표현하기 위하여 질의가 아닌 사용자 프로파일을 구축하여 이용하였다. 사용자 프로파일은 관심 분야별로 용어열과 선호도 벡터로 구성하고, ‘사용자접근에 의한 갱신’, ‘사용자 프로파일을 이용한 갱신’ 방법을 이용하여 사용자 프로파일을 사용자 위주로 학습시킨다. ‘사용자 접근에 의한 갱신’ 방법은 주제 분야에 대한 지식이 있는 경우에 적용할 수 있는 방법으로서 실험 결과, 사용자 프로파일이사용자의 선호도를 제대로 표현하기까지의 갱신 회수를 상당히 감소시킬 수 있었다. ‘사용자 프로파일을 이용한 갱신’ 방법은 갱신초기에 수행하는 방법으로서 선호도 값의 차이를 명확히 해주는 결과를 가져온다.

  • 개인화된 IT 서비스의 트렌드는 학습자를 위한 튜터링 시스템에도 학습자의 능력과 수요를 고려한 개인화된 서비스를 요구하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 지능형 튜터링 시스템을 위해 사용자 프로파일 에이전트(UPA, User Profile Agent) 모델을 제안한다. UPA는 프로세스, 메타데이터, 사용자 인터페이스로 구성되어 있으며, 사용자의 기본 정보와 학력 및 경력 정보, 학습 영역 지식, 개인 능력 측정 정보를 메타데이터에 기반으로 저장한다. 저장된 사용자 프로파일 정보는 에이전트의 프로세스에 의해 가공되어 학습자에게 유용한 정보를 제공할 수 있도록 기여할 수 있다. 향후 본 논문의 모형 설계를 기반으로 이러닝 기술 환경의 변화를 반영한 지능화된 지능형 튜터링 시스템 개발에 기여할 수 있도록 연구 발전시키는 것을 목표로 한다.

  • Recently, it is possible for users to acquire necessary data easily as the various schemes of the searching information are developed. Since these data rise continuously like stream data, it is required to extract the appropriate data for the user's needs from the mass data on the internet. In the traditional scheme, they are acquired by processing the user queries after the occurred data are stored at a database. However, it is inefficient to process the user queries over the large volume of continuous data by using the traditional scheme. In this paper, we propose the query processing scheme to extract the data efficiently for the user requirements from the large volume of continuous data. On the proposed scheme, we present the Event-Profile Model to define the data occurrence on the internet as the events and the user's requirements as the profiles. We also show the filtering scheme to process the events and the profiles efficiently.

  • We design and implement a new case-based recommender system using implicit rating information for a digital content site. Our system consists of the User Profile Generation module, the Similarity Evaluation and Recommendation module, and the Personalized Mailing module. In the User Profile Generation Module, we define intra-attribute and inter-attribute weight deriver from own's past interests of a user stored in the access logs to extract individual preferences for a content. A new similarity function is presented in the Similarity Evaluation and Recommendation Module to estimate similarities between new items set and the user profile. The Personalized Mailing Module sends individual recommended mails that are transformed into platform-independent XML document format to users. To verify the efficiency of our system, we have performed experimental comparisons between the proposed model and the collaborative filtering technique by mean absolute error (MAE) and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) values. The results show that the proposed model is more efficient than the traditional collaborative filtering technique.

  • In this paper, we propose a profile design of customized sports content curation system for activating daily sports. The proposed profile is a system that recommends sports convergence contents in everyday life tailored to the characteristics of profile in terms of the individual and team. Especially, the proposed profile is designed as the static profile that is changed depending on the user's feedback. The proposed design of profile design are to improve the happiness and health of individuals, it is expected to contribute the new service model development of in the field of Sport for All.

  • Existent public key certificates provide authentication information through some information on user\`s public key. However, an attribute certificate which stores and manage user\`s attribute information, provides various privilege information such as position, privilege and role. In recent, international organizations establishes standards on attribute certificate, and the researches and developments on attribute certificate have been widely made. In addition it may be expected to be used many real application area requiring for authorization information as well as authentication information. Therefore, this paper considers background and standardization trends of attribute certificate and describes the profile and related techniques of attribute certificate currently established by IETF. In addition, it introduces and access control system using attribute certificate and specifies applications of attribute certificate.

  • Personalization is user oriented dynamic method based on user preferences for easy access to what users want to view or get. It has become more important in mobile domain with rapid growth of wireless Internet and mobile phone market after success of web based market and therefore, it can be applied to service of spatial analysis result. In this paper, spatial analysis using user profile and notification service methods are proposed as one of personalized spatial data service methods for mobile users. A service system for spatial analysis with user profile is designed to prove possibility of spatial analysis based on user preferences and notification service is also designedto show generated output can be sent to user's mobile devices efficiently to make users informed of preferred information. Prototype system is implemented and it is applied to real estate data that has many selectable conditions by users. Information service based on user preferences can be applied to spatial data by using proposed system and it is efficient when cache module is used to shorten response time. Various user models for application domains and performance evaluation methods need to be developed in the future.
