본 연구는 도서관자동화시스템에 대한 현황 분석을 기반으로 향후 개선 방향을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구에서는 KESLI와 KCUE 컨소시엄에 참여하는 기관의 담당 사서를 대상으로 설문을 진행함으로써 도서관자동화시스템의 현황과 만족도, 오픈소스 기반 도서관자동화시스템의 현황과 인식을 조사하였다. 연구 결과, 현재 도서관에서 사용하는 자동화시스템은 대부분 2000년대 혹은 2010년대에 외주도입 방식으로 개발되었으며, 도서관자동화시스템 전반에 대해서 50% 이상의 응답자가 만족 의견을 보였다. 전반적인 만족도는 개별 기능 만족도와 고객지원 서비스 만족도, 시스템의 구축 및 운영관리 만족도의 영향을 받는 것으로 확인되었다. 현재 도서관자동화시스템은 대부분 오픈소스 혹은 클라우드를 활용하지 않고 있었으나 향후 활용 의사가 높게 나타났으며, 특히 3년 이내에 도입하겠다는 답변도 40% 이상을 차지했다. 본 연구는 향후 오픈소스기반 도서관자동화시스템 구축을 위한 중요한 기초 자료가 될 것으로 기대된다

본 연구의 목적은 무인 스마트도서관에 대한 이용자의 인식과 사용성을 평가하고 이에 대한 개선사항을 도출하는 것이다. 문헌조사를 통해 스마트 기술과 스마트 장비에 대해 정리한 후, 세종시와 포항시에 설치된 무인 스마트도서관을 이용하는 이용자를 대상으로 무인 스마트도서관의 이용과 운영사항, 서비스 만족도에 대해 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석결과를 기반으로 무인 스마트도서관의 개선방안을 도출하고 이를 이용하여 이용자들을 도서관으로 끌어드릴 수 있는 방안을 고찰하였다. 무인 스마트도서관의 이용자는 연령과 학력이 다양하였고 도서 대출을 목적으로 이용하는 경우가 가장 많았으며, 전반적으로 이용에 만족하는 것으로 조사되었다.

The importance of evaluation in design activity has been increased. Specially, it is necessary to take into consideration of user's needs as design criteria nowadays. Through these evaluations, the comprehensive quality of architectural design could be substantially improved and play the part of recycling at least in cases of theme similar structures. By a viewpoint of library patrons, there have increased many problems In library environment because more library patrons use the reference room for their study since reform of university education was carried out In 1981. Therefore, after post occupancy evaluation and spatial-planning matters of architecture are taken into consideration in this study, the problems of the plan-composition on the existing structure is pointed out and introduced the concept of post occupancy evaluation to grope the solution. With the question about users's needs and the state of use in the K-University Library, this study aims to investigate the actual use circumstance of space and maintenance of facilities as well as giving the most relevant alternatives instead of already existing one. This also intends to propose the essential date to meet the users' sociopsychological needs and environment innovation when planning the university library.

본 연구는 과학기술분야 전문도서관의 포털서비스 개발을 위하여 연구자들의 정보요구를 조사하고, 정보서비스 현황을 분석하여 그 기초자료를 제시하는데 있다. 연구방법은 과학기술분야 연구자들을 대상으로 한 설문조사와 전문도서관의 정보서비스 통계 자료를 수집하여 분석하였다. 연구의 결과는 과학기술분야 연구자들은 필요한 정보 입수를 위하여 소속기관의 도서관 홈페이지를 가장 자주 이용하며, 메타검색서비스를 가장 많이 이용하는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 대부분 학술정보 공유활동이 필요하며 이러한 활동에 참여하겠다고 하였다.

도서관은 학술잡지의 종류의 증가와 구독비용의 상승으로 인하여 이들을 구독하는데 곤란을 겪고 있다. 인용문헌 분석은 학술잡지를 평가하는 한 방법이다. 본 연구는 학술잡지 평가방법을 보완하기 위하여 서울소재 대학에서 수여된 문헌정보학분야의 박사학위논문을 대상에서 이용된 참고문헌과 학술잡지에 대하여 이용빈도와 이용분포를 연구한 것이다. 예산적 측면에서 인용문헌의 분포를 통한 학술잡지의 선택과 취소는 도서관에 매우 유용한 방법이다. 그러나 도서관은 단지 한가지 방법으로 학술잡지를 평가하여서는 곤란하고 여러 가지의 평가방법을 복합적으로 적용하여야 한다.

The purpose of this work was to study library website users' actions by tracking their behavior, determining popular content, and identifying browsing patterns and subsequent improvement of access to popular content. The study of behavior models and the use of web analytics has led to the emergence of solutions that improve the usability and functionality of the State Public Scientific-Technological Library of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SPSTL SB RAS) website. These are: identifying user tasks as they are developed, conducting user testing to better understand the event. tracking data and collecting additional data to verify the effectiveness of the changes made. Examining data on the duration of the session and the number of visits will help determine the goals of user visits and develop new recommendations. Usability analysis and testing will make it possible to compare the data obtained using web analytics and the perception of the library site by the users themselves. Recommendations are offered to libraries on the use of data on the real behavior of the target audience of the library website to improve access to library resources and services, increase their relevance and improve information services.

In this era of information, the public library takes a important role in the local community. In several years, public libraries have been proliferated in our society. However, there have not been specific planning standards of space size for construction of public library. The situation has lead the local governments to the need of consulting for the construction and management of library in search of appropriate guideline. The research paper focuses on the result of consulting support project for construction and management of public library. It examines total 11 libraries which were consulted from 2009 to 2011. It examines the configurational differences between the first scheme from the local government and the final scheme after the consulting, and the percentages of gross areas of each parts of library, reference and reading area, office area, education and cultural area, and public common use area. The analysis concludes that reference and reading area increased by 6.4% from 34.1% to 40.5%, and public common use area reduced by 6.1% from 30.2% to 24.1%, which represents a certain tendency of the configuration ratio of the each parts. Thus, the paper could be a starting point of establishing planning standard of space size for public library.

국립중앙도서관은 이용자의 효율적인 이용과 정보전달을 목적으로 각종 사인(sign)을 설치 운영하고 있다. 이에 이 연구에서는 국립중앙도서관의 기존 사인에 대한 현황 분석과 이용자 및 직원 대상으로 만족도 조사를 실시하였다. 이를 토대로 이용자의 효율적 도서관 이용 안내와 국립중앙도서관 사인시스템의 개선을 위한 운영방안으로 시각적 연속성의 개선, 설치 위치의 변경, 과다한 사인물의 축소, 임시 부착 사인물의 제한, 알아보기 쉬운 내용 등을 제언하였다.

본 연구는 국내외 문헌정보학분야의 대표적인 10개 학술지에서 2001부터 2004까지 발표된 1,768편의 연구논문을 대상으로 통계사용을 비교하였고, 그 중 추론통계를 사용한 345편의 논문에서 사용된 추론통계기법을 국내외, 학술지 주제영역별, 논문의 연구주제별, 연구방법별, 저자의 전공별로 분석하였다. 2001년 이후 기술통계와 추론통계의 사용은 증가하였으나, 외국에 비하여 국내에서의 사용률은 유의하게 낮은 차이를 보였다. 추론통계를 사용한 345편의 논문은 국내외, 학술지 주제영역별, 연구주제별, 연구방법별, 저자의 전공별 차이가 있었다. 사용된 추론통계기법은 국내외 간에, 학술지 주제영역 간에 차이가 있었다. 전체적으로 다변량분석이 가장 많이 사용되었다. 추론통계를 사용하는데는 가설 설정에서부터 가설을 검정하고, 검정통계량과 유의확률을 제시하고, 모형의 적합성을 해석하는데 보다 주의깊은 논의가 필요한 것으로 분석되었다.

이 연구의 목적은 공공도서관의 이용자 만족도를 증대하기 위한 경영개선의 방안을 제시하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위하여 문헌연구와 도서관의 당면한 문제를 살펴보고, D광역시 Y구의 4개 도서관을 이용하는 이용자 800명을 대상으로 도서관에 대한 요구사항을 파악하기 위하여 설문조사를 하였다. 연구 결과, 도서관 이용목적, 이용횟수, 요구하는 프로그램은 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 토대로 도서관경영의 개선해야 할 방향과 이용자의 만족도를 향상할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다.
