업무-기술적합(TTF) 영향에 대한 다차항 회귀분석과 반응표면 방법론적 접근: 그룹지원시스템(GSS)의 경우 (Polynomial Regression Analysis and Response Surface Methodology in Task-Technology Fit Research: The Case of GSS (Group Support Systems))

  • This study takes a quantitative approach to the influence of TTF (Task-Technology Fit) on the individual's use and performance of GSS (Group Support Systems), while traditional studies on TTF have taken the experimental approach to explore the characteristic fit between diverse tasks and technologies. We have the following two research inquires: Are the IS use and performance maximized when information technologies are provided by the exact amount of demand?; and, Does TTF at the high level between task and IT produce better IS use (or performance) than at the low level? To investigate these issues, we use the polynomial regression analysis and response surface methodology of Edwards (1993) instead of traditional direct measure of TTF. This method measures the degree of desired and actual level of information technologies in conducting tasks, and traces the dynamic changes of dependent variables (IS use and performance) according to the variances of each independent variable. Our results conclude that user's IS use and performance are maximized when information technologies are actually provided by no more or less than the desired level. We also found that TTF at the high level promotes better IS use and performance than TTF at the low level.

마스터데이터관리 이해도가 국방 마스터데이터관리시스템 수용에 미치는 사용자 집단별 차이 분석 (The Effect of MDM Understanding on MDM Acceptances : A Cross-COI Study on Military and Non-military Users)

  • It has been found that users' characteristics are important variables that explain information systems adoption. These user groups, which are called COIs (Community Of Interests), might show different behaviors to each other to the same information system. We study differences in MDM (master data management) system adoption between military users and SI developers using TAM (Technology Acceptance Model). In case of military users, the perceived usefulness of an MDM system does not have impacts on intention to use an MDM system. Only the ease of use of an MDM system has impacts on intention to use an MDM system. However, in case of SI developers, both the perceived usefulness and the ease of use of an MDM system have impacts on intention to use an MDM system, which are similar to findings in previous studies. These results might be interpreted that users do not pay much attention to the usefulness in adopting a new information system in a centralized organization. They are obligated to use an information system whether it is useful or not. Thus the ease of use has more impacts on users than the usefulness.

  • 공공도서관은 지역사회의 모든 주민에게 지식정보와 평생교육을 제공하고 정보접근을 도와주며 정보격차를 줄여주는 중추적인 기관으로서의 역할을 수행하기 위하여 설립 운영되고 있다. 그러나 국내의 경우, 특히 지역사회의 지식정보 취약계층으로 간주되는 시각장애인을 위한 공공도서관 서비스가 상당히 부실하고 시각장애인도 공공도서관을 거의 이용하지 않고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 시각장애인이 공공도서관을 이용하지 않는 이유에 대한 인식도를 다각도로 조사 분석하여 상관성이 높은 공통된 요인을 추출하고 왜 그러한 결과가 나타났는지에 대해 살펴봄으로써 그들의 정보접근 및 이용권을 보장하는 동시에 공공도서관의 이용을 활성화하는데 기여하고자 한다.

ChatGPT의 유용성, 용이성, 만족도가 수용 의도에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Usefulness, Ease of Use, and Satisfaction with ChatGPT on the Intention to Use)

  • This study aimed to analyze the impact of perceived usefulness, ease of use, and satisfaction with ChatGPT on the intention to use it. Data were collected through an online survey, and the results showed differences in perceived usefulness, ease of use, and intention to use according to the demographic characteristics of the research subjects. Furthermore, a multiple regression analysis was conducted to examine the impact of ChatGPT's usability, ease of use, and satisfaction on the intention to use. The results indicated statistically significant differences in perceived usefulness, ease of use, and intention to use ChatGPT between students in different academic years. In addition, perceived usefulness, ease of use, and satisfaction with ChatGPT showed a significant positive influence on the intention to use it. This study is significant as it analyzes the intention to use ChatGPT, considering the role of generative AI in digital education and innovative teaching methods in the educational context.

업무성과에 영향을 미치는 정보시스템의 특성에 관한 실증연구 : 회계정보시스템을 중심으로 (Characteristics of Information System that Affect Business Performance : Focusing on Accounting Information System)

  • As having analyzed an advance research that had looked into how characteristics of information system affect use and success of the concerned system, the study determined that system quality, information quality and service quality are the fundamental requirements for a good accounting information system. In addition, based on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use that have been selected as major variables related to information system acceptance proposed by Davis[10], the study conducted an empirical analysis on how such factors would influence performance of the accounting information system. According to the results from the analysis, the system quality one of the characteristics of the accounting information system was observed to have a significant influence on the perceived ease of use while both the information quality and the service quality would positively affect the perceived usefulness. Not only that, the perceived ease of use and the perceived usefulness were confirmed to be a significant factor to the performance, and with those results, all the theses of the study have been selected. As proved even with the information system success model, the system quality, the information quality and the service quality are definitely the most necessary elements for business management, and it also turned out that those elements would play an important role in several stages of the information system.

  • 이 논문은 정보이용교육을 위해 정보처리학습모형을 사용할 것을 추천하고 있다. 정보처리학습모형은 심리적 도구로서 적절히 사용하면 학생들의 자기주도적, 자율적 학습, 창의성 함양, 학력제고를 도모할 수 있고 학생들의 정보이용능력을 미국학교도서관 협회와 교육공학회에서 제정한 정보이용능력기준에 미치도록 훈련하는 것이 쉽다고 주장한다. 이러한 주장은 정보처리학습모형을 사용할 때 사용하는 정보기술내역과 정보이용능력기준을 대비시킴으로서 규명하고 있다.

Assessing the Success rate of e-Learning Systems Aadoption in Saudi Higher Education Institutions during COVID-19 Pandemic: Student Perspective

  • In response to the significant COVID-19 outbreak, countries have enforced the use of E-learning systems as an alternative to traditional learning; to contain the virus and minimize the infection rate while maintaining the continuity of the learning experience. However, the effective adoption of E-learning systems requires a well-understanding of critical factors, especially in times of crisis. In this regard, this study intends to assess the success of the E-learning system adoption by Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) during the crisis of COVID-19 by utilizing the Information Systems Success (ISS) model. This study's adopted model consists of nine interdependent dimensions, namely: Technical System Quality, Information Quality, Service Quality, Learner Quality, Perceived Satisfaction, Perceived Usefulness, System Use, Intention to Use, and System Success. An electronic survey was distributed among higher education students from different universities in Saudi Arabia to explore each model's dimension. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) has been applied via SmartPLS software to test the causal relationships between dimensions. This study's main results revealed that students' Service Quality, Learner Quality, and the Intention to Use by students are essential drives for E-learning System Use during the Covid-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, the Intention to Use the system is significantly influenced by Perceived Satisfaction and Perceived Usefulness dimensions. Further, Perceived Satisfaction, Perceived Usefulness, and System Use are interdependent, and all three have a significant positive impact on E-learning System Success.

A Study on the Strategy of Resolving Impediments to Use of Digital Resources : The Case of Korean Public Libraries

  • In this study, users' perceptions and concerns about digital information resources were investigated, focusing on impediments to the use of digital resources, to devise measures for improvement by identifying factors that hinder the use of digital information resources. To achieve the purpose of the study, the research identifies the inconvenien ce factors and establishes the user inconvenience list based on prior research and the current status survey. Based on the derived list, a survey was conducted on users of public libraries. Through this study, it was found that the use of digital information resources can be enhanced by improving the internal library system. Specifically, it refers to improving search performance and accessibility of digital data, providing one-stop services for digital information resources through the operation of an integrated data management system, conducting customized user education, and establishing a digital information resource preservation system, e.g. web archiving. Also, improving the external environment and system, such as contracting with more libraries for digitized data use agreements, strengthening support, unifying the names and classifications of digital information resources, and simplifying the procedure for using digital information resources, is of great importance.

Determinants of Adoption and Use of Open Access Publishing by Academic Staff in Nigeria Universities

  • The emergence of the World Wide Web (WWW) has changed the scholarly publishing system. Today, Open Access (OA) scholarly publishing offers free access and wide dissemination for research findings anytime and anywhere as an additional value for scholarly content. Despite the potentials of OA publishing, its adoption and use is still low.This paper determines factors influencing the adoption and use of OA publishing by academic staff in universities in Nigeria using an adapted Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use Technology (UTAUT). The study applies methodological triangulation by combining quantitative and qualitative approaches. The empirical data were collected from 317 academic staff in universities in southwest Nigeria. The questionnaire forms were analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (IBM-SPSS) 19.0 version to generate descriptive statistics, Analysis of Variance, and Hierarchical Multiple Regression. Thematically, analysis also applies to the interviews. The results show that awareness, attitude, performance expectancy, Internet self-efficacy, and facilitating conditions significantly influenced the adoption and use of OA publishing. The study also reveals that due to lack of OA policy, most of the respondents did not know about OA. The findings further establish that all predictors and moderating variables jointly contributed 64.4% total variance towards the adoption and use of OA publishing. One of the implications of this study is that there is a need for adequate facilities to support adoption and use of OA publishing. The findings inform the proposed framework for improving and evaluating the adoption and use of OA publishing. The findings also have theoretical, societal, and methodological significance to all stakeholders.

농업경영정보시스템 사용의도에 미치는 사회심리학적 요인 분석: 우수농업경영정보시스템을 중심으로 (An Analysis of Social-Psychological Factors that Influence the Intention to Use the Agricultural Information System "LFcenter System")

  • The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze factors that influence farm managers' intentions to use an agricultural farm management information systems. It focused on "LFcenter System," a leading information system operated by the Rural Development Administration for farm management. Participants of this study are classified into two groups: a group of leading farm managers and a group fo regular farm managers. A total of 192 survey samples on users' intentions are collected; 85 samples from leading farm managers and 107 from regular farm managers. The theoretical background of this study is developed based on Theory of Reasoned Action(TRA), Technology Acceptance Model(TAM), Diffusion of Innovation(DOI), Social Cognitive Theory(SCT), and Theory of Planned Behavior(TPB). Partial Least Squares(PLS) method is used to test a proposed Structural Equation Model(SEM), including nine hypotheses. The differences between two groups are investigated using Smith-Satterthwait test. The findings from this study are: First of all, in terms of average comparison of most variables used in this study, a group of leading farm managers shows higher value that the other group in most cases. Second, hypothesis tests how that "subjective norms", "goal to study", "perceived usefulness", "perceived enjoyment", and "intention to use" significantly influence the intention to use an agricultural management information system in the group of leading farm managers. However, "subjective norms", "goal to study", "perceived ease of use", "perceived usefulness", "perceived enjoyment", and "intention to use" turned out to significantly influence the intention to use an agricultural management information system in the group of regular farms managers. Based on the results of Smith-Satterthwait test, compared with a group of leading farms managers, the impact of "goal to study" on "intention to use" is significantly stronger. On the other hand, in the group of leading farms managers, "perceived usefulness" and "perceived enjoyment" turned out to be main drivers of "intention to use."
