  • While 'Computer self-efficacy' is widely studied In the social science field with regard to the training effectiveness, little research has focused on clarifying the role of 'needs' in relation to self-efficacy and outcome expectations. in this regard, this study investigated the effects of 'needs to learn computer shills,' extending the social cognitive theory. A survey instrument was adopted and modified from previous studies to measure behavioral modeling, prior experience, Perceived computer self-efficacy, Perceived needs to learn computer skills and outcome expectations. A total of 209 practitioners were surveyed in this study. As a result, most part of the social cognitive theory was again Proven to be effective, and the 'needs to learn computer skills' was proven to be significant as a moderating variable between computer self-efficacy and outcome expectations. Implications of the research were discussed, and further studies were suggested at the end.

  • In the last few years, interest in computer science education has increased significantly. The curriculum is being revised to introduce computer science. Although interest has focused on coding as the main subject, in fact the computer science includes much more than coding. It engages people in being creative with technology as well as understanding the fundamental principles of computer science. Therefore, it is important to consider the curriculum to provide a foundation by teaching and learning computer science. The curriculum is required the development of courses to teach computer science for non-majors in general education. To think like a computer scientist on the knowledge of computer science is computational thinking. In order to maximize the effectiveness of teaching and learning for computational thinking, various teaching methods and supplementary learning materials, and activities should be developed and provided.

  • In this paper, we proposed a framework that generates the trajectory of a single rigid body based on its COM configuration and contact pose. Because we use a smaller input dimension than when we use a full body state, we can improve the learning time for reinforcement learning. Even with a 68% reduction in learning time (approximately two hours), the character trained by our network is more robust to external perturbations tolerating an external force of 1500 N which is about 7.5 times larger than the maximum magnitude from a previous approach. For this framework, we use centroidal dynamics to calculate the next configuration of the COM, and use reinforcement learning for obtaining a policy that gives us parameters for controlling the contact positions and forces.

  • The article discusses the use of the concept of digitalization in the science of education. The influence of information technologies on the ability to self-study is analyzed. Various technologies that are used in science and education are shown. The issues of the advantages of using IT as a tool for creating conditions for the implementation of the problem-activity approach and the organization of project activities are considered. The possibilities are shown, which gives the opportunities that the use of ICT of distance educational resources in the educational process gives. Shown is their auxiliary form of transmission, information retrieval; working out skills and consolidating what has been learned. Based on the analysis of the presented material of the article, you can see what problems can be solved using IT and remote resources.

  • Flash memory has advantages in that it is fast access speed, low-power, and low-price. Therefore, they are widely used in electronics industry sectors. However, the flash memory has weak points, which are the limited number of erase operations and non-in-place update problem. To overcome the limited number of erase operations, many wear leveling techniques are studied. They use many tables storing information such as erase count of blocks, hot and cold block indicators, reference count of pages, and so on. These tables occupy some space of main memory for the wear leveling techniques. Accordingly, they are not appropriate for low-power devices limited main memory. In order to resolve it, a wear leveling technique using bit array and Bit Set Threshold (BST) for flash memory. The proposing technique reduces the used space of main memory using a bit array table, which saves the history of block erase operations. To enhance accuracy of cold block information, we use BST, which is calculated by using the number of invalid pages of the blocks in a one-to-many mode, where one bit is related to many blocks. The performance results illustrate that the proposed wear leveling technique improve life time of flash memory to about 6%, compared with previous wear leveling techniques using a bit array table in our experiment.

  • Layer transfer process has emerged as a promising tool in the field of thin silicon solar cell technology. This process can use mono-crystalline silicon as a surface for the epitaxial growth of a thin layer of silicon. It requires some sort of surface conditioning of the substrate due to which the surface become suitable for homo-epitaxy and lift off after solar cell fabrication. The successful reuse of substrate has been reported. The use of the conditioned surface without any kind of epitaxial layer growth is also the issue to be addressed. This review paper basically describes the five most cost effective methods on which works are in progress. Several types of possible problems envisaged by different research groups are also incorporated here with necessary discussion. Work in Korea has already started in this area in collaboration IC Design and Fabrication Centre, Jadavpur University, India and that also has been mentioned.

  • The application of polymeric insulators for outdoor use has been increasing as a new replacement of overhead line in abroad. In domestic case, it is actively going on the research of polymeric insulators. The Silicone rubber among polymeric insulators have a good electrical properties, due to surface hydrophobicity. This paper is concentrated on the recovery of surface hydrophobicity and the change of surface construction after electrical stress. The feature of silicone rubber, a good hydrophobicity, is demanded the improvement method as the estimation of the non-ceramic insulators like it.

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop and to introduce the rubrics for performance assessment, which can measure elementary school upper graders' ability to use ICT, With a goal of improving their ability to use ICT, the students, who are in the fourth, fifth, six grades, received instructions on the basic skills and knowledge for using the computer during the extracurricular-activity session or the self-directed session after regular classes. In the study, the rubrics were developed on the basis of the 7th national curriculum, and defined respectively assessment criteria and attainment targets for the upper graders. The assessment criteria were set after the researcher determined the most basic and important skills and knowledge that the upper graders should have, and then compared them with the attainment criteria in the national curriculum. Accordingly, the application of the rubrics developed for this study is expected to lessen the burden of elementary school teachers when they implement performance assessment in their classrooms. Finally, using the rubrics, the study assessed elementary school students' ability to use the computer, and showed somewhat limiting but satisfactory results.
