  • Purpose: This study aimed to verify the effect of integrated patterns (IPs) of PNF on individuals with malalignment using upper extremity and lower extremity patterns simultaneously. This information was then compared to the effect of bowling exercises on malalignment. The study population included individuals in their twenties with malalignment in their posture. Methods: Individuals with malalignment (40 participants in total) were divided into 2 groups based on trunk inclination and side deviation. In one group, IPs of PNF were used as interventions, while the other group used bowling exercises. This process was completed over the course of four weeks. The IP group used two patterns simultaneously: flexion-adduction-external rotation and extension-abduction-internal rotation. These patterns were used in the upper and lower extremities and were crossed diagonally. Results: The trunk inclination decreased in the IP and the bowling group. In the IP group, the degree of inclination decreased from 0.94 to 0.33. The side deviation also decreased to 1.53 (p < 0.05). In the bowling group, the two measured values decreased significantly (p < 0.05). Conclusion: Compared to the bowling exercises used in the bowling group, the results of this study indicate that the use of IPs had a significant effect on trunk inclination and side deviation for malalignment posture patients. Individuals can easily improve malalignment using IPs of PNF (for example, at home or at their office), which suggests that they are not required to seek assistance from a fitness or bowling center, which may save them time.

  • Detection of abnormal signal generally can be done by using features of normal signals as main information because of data imbalance. This paper propose an efficient method for abnormal signal detection using parallel AutoEncoder (AE) which can use features of abnormal signals as well. The proposed Parallel AE (PAE) is composed of a normal and an abnormal reconstructors having identical AE structure and train features of normal and abnormal signals, respectively. The PAE can effectively solve the imbalanced data problem by sequentially training normal and abnormal data. For further detection performance improvement, additional binary classifier can be added to the PAE. Through experiments using public acoustic data, we obtain that the proposed PAE shows Area Under Curve (AUC) improvement of minimum 22 % at the expenses of training time increased by 1.31 ~ 1.61 times to the single AE. Furthermore, the PAE shows 93 % AUC improvement in detecting abnormal underwater acoustic signal when pre-trained PAE is transferred to train open underwater acoustic data.

  • Damage caused by intelligent cyber attacks not only disrupts system operations and leaks information, but also entails massive economic damage. Recently, cyber attacks have a distinct goal and use advanced attack tools and techniques to accurately infiltrate the target. In order to minimize the damage caused by such an intelligent cyber attack, it is necessary to block the cyber attack at the beginning or during the attack to prevent it from invading the target's core system. Recently, technologies for predicting cyber attack paths and analyzing risk level of cyber attack using big data or artificial intelligence technologies are being studied. In this paper, a cyber attack path analysis method using attack tree and RFI is proposed as a basic algorithm for the development of an automated cyber attack path prediction system. The attack path is visualized using the attack tree, and the priority of the path that can move to the next step is determined using the RFI technique in each attack step. Based on the proposed mechanism, it can contribute to the development of an automated cyber attack path prediction system using big data and deep learning technology.

  • The treatment policy and prognosis are determined based on the final stage of lung cancer patients. The final stage of lung cancer patients is determined based on the T, N, and M stage classification table provided by the American Cancer Society (AJCC). However, the final stage of AJCC has limitations in its use for various fields such as patient treatment, prognosis and survival days prediction. In this paper, clustering algorithm which is one of non-supervised learning algorithms was assessed in order to check whether using only T, N, M stages with a data science method is effective for classifying the group of patients in the aspect of survival days. The final stage groups and T, N, M stage clustering groups of lung cancer patients were compared by using the cox proportional hazard model. It is confirmed that the accuracy of prediction of survival days with only T, N, M stages becomes higher than the accuracy with the final stages of patients. Especially, the accuracy of prediction of survival days with clustering of T, N, M stages improves when more or less clusters are analyzed than the seven clusters which is same to the number of final stage of AJCC.
