KS, JIS 열교환 환기장치 실험규격의 민감도 분석 (Sensitivity Analysis on KS and JIS Standard for Heat Recovery Ventilator)

  • Recently natural ventilation rate is decreased due to the airtightness of apartment building. Therefore the use of heat recovery ventilator (HRV) has been greatly increased as an alternative method to supply fresh air and save energy in the building. In this research the experiment standard of HRV is compared between KS and JIS and the sensitivity analyses are experimented by both standards. Under cooling experiment condition indoor and outdoor wet-bulb temperature difference of JIS is 2 to 3 times higher than that of KS. It shows that the efficiency measurement of HRV by KS is expected to have greater sensitivity than by JIS and thus accurate measurement of web-bulb temperature is required. The experimental results provide that the efficiency of thermal exchange is resemblance to each others between KS and JIS. Under cooling experiment condition the efficiency of humidity exchange by KS presents higher than by JIS, however, under heating experiment condition the efficiency by KS shows lower than by JIS, reversely.

Smart Power Management System for Leisure-ship

  • A leisure ship has a stand-alone type power system, and a generator is in use on this condition. But the generator cannot be operated in condition of leisure activity, ocean measurement and etc, because of environment and noise. Recently, renewable energy system is connected with power system of the leisure-ship for saving energy. The renewable energy system can not supply the stable power to leisure-ship because power generation changes according to weather condition. And most of the leisure ship is operated without methodical power management system. This study's purpose is to develop SPMS(Smart Power Management System) algorithm using the renewable energy (photovoltaic, wind power and etc.). The proposed algorithm is able to supply stable the power according to operation mode. Furthermore, the SPMS manages electric load (sailing and communication equipment, TV, fan, etc.) and reduces operating times of the generator. In this paper, the proposed algorithm is realized and executed by using LabVIEW. As a result, the hour for operating the generator is minimized.

DGA Interpretation of Oil Filled Transformer Condition Diagnosis

  • DGA is one of the most recent techniques developed to diagnose the fault condition on oil filled insulation transformers. There are more than 6 known different methods of DGA fault interpretation technique and so there is the likelihood that they may vary in their interpretations. A series of combined interpretation methods that can determine the power transformer condition faults in one assessment is therefore needed. This paper presents a computer program- based system developed to combine four DGA assessment techniques; Rogers Ratio Method, IEC Basic Ratio Method, Duval Triangle method and Key Gas Method. An easy to use Graphic User Interface was designed to give a visual display of the four techniques. The result shows that this assessment method can increase the accuracy of DGA methods by up to 20% and the no prediction result had been reduced down to 0%.

Influence of curing condition and carbonation on electrical resistivity of concrete

  • The electrical resistivity of air-dried, saturated, and carbonated concretes with different mixture proportions was monitored to evaluate and quantify the influence of the age of the specimen, carbonation, and curing condition. After 28 days of curing, four prepared specimens were stored in a vacuum chamber with 5% $CO_2$ for 330 days to make carbonated specimens. Four of the specimens were placed in water, and four specimens were cured in air until the end of the experiments. It was observed that the electrical resistivity of the carbonated specimens increased as carbonation progressed due to the decrease of porosity and the increase of hydrated products. Therefore, in order to estimate the durability of concrete, its carbonation depth was used as the measurement of electrical resistivity. Moreover, an increase of electrical resistivity for air-dried and saturated concretes was observed as a function of age of the specimen. From the relationship between chloride diffusivity provided by Yoon et al. (2007) and the measurements of electrical resistivity, it is expected that the results well be of significant use in calibrating chloride diffusivity based on regular measurements of electrical resistivity during concrete construction.

무전해 Co-Cu-P 도금층의 자성에 미치는 도금조건과 도금속도의 영향 (Effect of Plating Condition and Plating Rate on the Magnetic Properties of Electroless Co-Cu-P Deposits)

  • The effect of bath composition, plating condition and plating rate on the magnetic property of electroless Co-Cu-P deposits were investigated. With increasing $CuCl_2$ concentration in the bath, plating rate increased, while the Br value of deposit decreased sharply. Deposited surface were inferiority by the increase pH above 10.5, bath temperature higher than $80^{\circ}C$. Plating reaction had been ceased by the increase of pH above 11, bath temperature higher than $90^{\circ}C$ and under $40^{\circ}C$. The Br value of deposit was uniform with various concentration of complexing agent(sodium citrate) in the bath. The Br value of deposit was almost equal to that found by the addition of stabilizer (thiourea) and accelerator(NaF). The Br value of deposit was uniform in plating time(20min) and heat treatment temperature(below $200^{\circ}C$), and were confirmed to have adequate bath stability for practical use.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest objective basic data for park management proposal through the quantitative analysis of users' needs and satisfaction for the actual conditions of management in Moaksand provincial park. For this, users' needs and satisfaction for facilities have been analyzed. And user's satisfaction for the actual conditions of management had been analyzed by using the multiple regression. Users want more toilets and sign boards and to replace damaged facilities. Users gave thought to trail and had high pressure to improvement, and many users were uncomfortable by crowding, and had a positive view to restrict use of intensity. Systematic careful concern about trail and rest area should be need and periodic observation to change of facility condition also. According to the multiple regression analysis, the major variable to the satisfaction for the actual condition of facilities management was trail ground condition.

Distribution and Ecological Characteristics of Native Iris Odesanensis in Mt. Naeyon

  • Iris odesanensis Y.N. Lee is one kind of species among 54 endangered plant species designated by the Ministry of Environment in Korea. It is very rare native plant throughout the country. Therefore, this study was conducted to investigate the native Iris odesanensis in Mt. Naeyon for their distribution and ecological characteristics. They were mostly distributed mid-slope of the mountain from 443m to 498m altitude. They were located lower part of valley and provided enough humid condition. They had proper light and humidity conditions as they faced south south west, south south east, and south. They were also located at the places deciduous woody plants were distributed for proper light conditions for spring blooming. Iris flowered to use light at the period before the trees thickly covered with foliage. However this unfavorable light condition caused low percentage as 7.04% of blooming individuals in this study. In herbaceous, Vioia chaerophylloides(Regel) W. Hocker, Carex siderosticta Hance, Erythronium japonicum Decne., Oxalis obtriangulata Max., Hepatica asiatica Nakai, Lilium tsingtauense Gilg et cetera were appeared well. We propose that proper pruning of upper branches of the deciduous trees is needed for suitable light condition of management of native sites.

성인여성(成人女性)의 연령별(年齡別) 파운데이션 착용실태 연구(着用失態 硏究) - 브래지어와 거들을 중심(中心)으로 - (A Study on the Actual Wearing Condition of Foundation Garment for Adult Women - Focusing on the Brassiere and Girdle -)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide for the basic data useful to the effective production and marketing of the foundation garment befitting adult women's shapes and preferences, and thereby, help them improve their apparel life. For this purpose, 563 Korean women aged between 20-59 were sampled to survey their recognition and actual wearing condition of foundation garments and positively identify the factors affecting the practices and thereupon, determine the correlations among them by age group. The raw data of this study is processed by SPSS Win(10.1) and analyzed by using frequency, percentage, $x^2$-test, ANOVA, Duncan-test. The most of adult women were aware of their foundation size and the absolute majority of them wore brassieres, while a half of them used the girdles. The adult women had 5.7 Brassieres and 2.2 Girdles. The use of the foundation depended much on user's age or seasons. They had begun to wear Brassieres at their age of 15 on an average and Girdle around their age of 19 depending their individual needs. It has been found through this study that adult women's is actual wearing condition of foundation garments differ by age group, which may well suggest that foundation production need to consideration this age-wise practices when setting up their foundation production and marketing strategies.

휠체어 사용자를 위한 열차 탑승 장치 설계와 용접 조건 (A Study of Board the Train Designed for Wheelchair Users on Welding Condition)

  • The ratio of mobility handicapped was 12,110,000 in late 2009 about 24.4% of total population. The number of handicapped population is increasing continuously due to traffic accidents and industrial disasters. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to suggest a design for passengers on wheelchairs to get into and off to raise handicapped or elderly people's right of mobility. The scope of this research is mobility handicapped especially wheelchair passengers who use vans, small buses, and trains. The ramp design of vans is module form. The ramp is moved with screw jack and guides are installed on each side to increase stability. Moreover, a bridge was installed for smooth getting in and off of the van. The ramp design for small bus is lowed by 200m in order not to have obstacle such as speed bump when getting in or off. In order to reduce vulnerable environment and administration, air slide cylinder was chosen. Lastly, for the ramp design of train, the principle of link was used that the simpler structure made the weight lighter and installation in the train became easier. If we look at the conjugation condition of heterogeneous materials to produce a ramp, proper welding condition for cold steel plate and stainless plate is 3kW output and 3-5m/min of welding speed using laser beam seems proper.

The Selection of Measurement Positions for BEM Based NAH Using a Non-conformal Hologram to Reduce the Reconstruction Error

  • This paper explores the use of BEM based NAH to reconstruct the surface vibration of a plate in a rectangular finite cavity, in which the distances between sensors and the nearest points on the source surface are not equal. In such circumstances, different degree of information on propagating and non-propagating wave components will be detected by sensors at different positions, as well as the influence of measurement noise will vary significantly from the nearest points of measurement to the farthest ones. On the other hand, the condition number of the vibro-acoustic transfer function matrix relating normal surface velocities and field pressures will becomes high, numerically indicating an increase of linear dependency between rows of transfer function matrix. The combination of poor measurement and high condition number will result inaccurate reconstruction. Therefore, one approach to be investigated in this work is to select the measurement positions in such ways that reduce measurement redundancy, as it indicated by the condition number. The improvement is found to be significant in the numerical simulations utilizing two different criterions, spanning from over-determined to under-determined cases, and in the validation experiment.
