웹 환경에서 사용자는 다른 어떠한 인터페이스 환경에서보다도 더 적극적이고 자유로운 인터랙션을 하고 있으며 따라서 웹 사이트 개발에 있어서 사용자 인터페이스 환경을 고려하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 웹 인터페이스 환경과 그 특징에 대해 살펴보고 현재 활용되고 있는 사용성 평가 기법들을 정리한 후, 이를 기반으로 웹에서의 사용자들의 다양한 반응과 양상을 효과적으로 시각화하고 분석/평가할 수 있는 도구를 개발하였다. 또한 개발된 시각화 도구를 한 인터넷 허브 사이트의 사용성 평가 과정에 적용해 보고 그 결과에 대해 논의함으로써 웹에서의 사용 감성의 시각화와 평가를 위한 실질적인 방법을 제안하고자한다.

To evaluate the usability of a Kimchi refrigerator, we performed an evaluation test that consisted of an experiment and a post-hoc questionnaire survey. In this study, we focused on the older women who have less physical and cognitive ability than younger women. In physical usability, there was no significant difference between the older and the younger subject group. However, there was some significant statistical difference in the results of cognitive usability test. When the subjects debriefed their operations after finishing the experiment, the all subjects in the older group reported the difficulties in identifying the labels and icons in the control panel and in understanding operation sequences. Also, they couldn't learn and remember the operation procedures well. Based on the analysis of the video protocols, some causes of the problems were found and then several improvement ideas were suggested.

Purpose: The usability, user satisfaction, and impact of electronic nursing record (ENR) systems were investigated. Methods: This mixed-method research was performed as a time-motion (TM) study and a survey which were carried out at six hospitals between August and November 2013. The TM study involved 108 nurses from medical, surgical, and intensive care units at each hospital, plus an additional 48 nurses who served as nonparticipating observers. In the survey, 1879 volunteer nurses completed the Impact of ENR Systems Scale, the System Usability Scale, and a global satisfaction scale. Qualitative and quantitative analyses were performed. Results: The mean scores for the ENR impact, system usability, and satisfaction were 4.28 (out of 6), 58.62 (out of 100), and 74.31 (out of 100), respectively, and they differed significantly between hospitals (F=43.43, p<.001, F=53.08 and p<.001, and F=29.13 and p<.001, respectively). A workflow fragmentation assessment revealed different patterns of ENR system use among the included hospitals. Three user characteristics-educational background, practice period, and experience of using paper records-significantly affected the system usability and satisfaction scores. Conclusion: The system quality varied widely among the ENR systems. The generally low-to-moderate levels of system usability and user satisfaction suggest many opportunities for improvement.

Objective: The present study was to improve the graphic user interface (GUI) of a military computer-based training (CBT) system in terms of usability. Background: Existing studies have focused on usability evaluation of a particular GUI type such as sequence, hierarchy, or context type; however, few research has been conducted which identifies preferred GUI features based on a comparative analysis of different GUI types. Method: A comparative evaluation was conducted by 9 CBT design experts using a 7-point scale (1: very low, 4: neutral, and 7: very high) on hierarchy and context GUI types of a military CBT system in terms of 10 usability criteria. Then, preferred features of the hierarchy and context types being accommodated, a new GUI was developed and validated by 22 CBT users. Results: While the hierarchy type was found preferred by 1.6 times in terms of controllability to the context type, the opposite was found in terms of attractiveness, simplicity, and responsiveness by 0.6, 0.8, and 0.8 times, respectively. The proposed GUI was found superior to the hierarchy and context types in terms of accessibility and informativeness by more than 1.5 times, but inferior to the hierarchy and context type in terms of simplicity by 0.6 and 0.9 times, respectively. Conclusion: The new GUI developed by accommodating the preferred features of the hierarchy and context types improves usability in terms of accessibility and informativeness except simplicity. Application: The comparative analysis of various GUIs can be applied to develop an improved GUI in a systematic manner based on preferred features of the existing GUIs.

사이버대학에서 이러닝 코스개발과정에서 질 관리를 위하여 고려할 핵심적인 사항중의 하나는 콘텐츠의 사용자 인터페이스(User Interface)이다. 사용자 인터페이스는 학습자가 불편 없이 효율적이고 사용하기 쉽게 설계 될수록 학습자의 학습을 도울 수 있다는 점에서 중요성을 갖는다. 사용자 인터페이스의 사용성의 중요성에도 불구하고, 사용성 설계요소관점에서 이러닝 콘텐츠 UI를 평가한 연구들은 거의 없는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 사용성 관점에서 이러닝 콘텐츠 사용자 인터페이스 설계 시 고려해야 할 요소들을 탐색하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 서울소재 OO사이버대학의 이러닝 콘텐츠에 대하여 사용성 평가를 실시하여 사용자관점에서 이러닝 콘텐츠의 질 관리 개선을 위한 시사점을 제안하고자 한다.

극한 프로그래밍은 빠르게 변화되는 사업 환경에 기민하게 대응하는 애자일 소프트웨어 개발 방법론 중에서 가장 대표적인 방법론이다. 소프트웨어 산업이 성숙됨에 따라 소프트웨어 품질 요소 중 사용성이 점차 강조되고 있으나, 극한 프로그래밍에서의 사용성을 확보하기 위한 노력이 부족하다. 본 논문에서는 극한 프로그래밍에 부족한 3가지 사항을 보강한다. 사용자 인터페이스 설계자의 역할을 정의 및 제시하구 사용성 평가 방법 도입 방안 제시하고, 개발 프로세스 및 산출물을 제안한다. 제안 방안의 타당성 분석을 위해 4가지 방법을 사용하였다. 첫째, 소프트웨어 개발 생명주기 지원 여부 분석, 둘째, CMM 핵심 프로세스 영역 만족도 분석, 셋째, CMM 규정 실무 만족도 향상 분석, 넷째, 녹차 쇼핑들을 개발하는 사례를 분석하였다. 녹차 쇼핑몰은 사용성 평가 방법의 도입으로 예측된 실행시간이 23％, 학습용이성이 21％ 향상되었다. 또한, 휴리스틱 평가 점수가 18글 설문지 평가 점수는 16％ 향상되었다.

최근 일반인의 배뇨활동에 도움을 주는 장치가 개발되고 있으나, 사용자의 배뇨 습관과 기능, 사용자의 접근성 등을 고려한 제품은 부족하다. 본 연구에서는 배뇨활동에 도움을 주는 장치 중 자동 석션 기능 등 융, 복합 기능을 지니고 있는 스마트 자동 소변처리기를 기준으로 사용자의 만족도와 제품의 개선점을 찾고자 사용성평가를 실시하였다. 개발된 사용성평가 지표는 모두 21개이며, 안전성과 조작성, 만족도를 기준으로 개발하였다. 그 결과 기능적인 만족도는 높았으나, 디자인 측면에서는 손잡이 등의 개선해야 할 문제점이 제시되었다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 자동 소변처리기의 성능측면의 만족도가 제품을 대표할 수 없으며, 제품의 문제점을 찾기 위한 사용성평가 지표 개발의 중요성을 알게 되었다.

This study aims to compare and evaluate the usability of domestic and overseas XR devices. With the recent release of 'Apple Vision Pro', interest in the XR field is increasing rapidly. XR devices are being used in various fields such as defense, medical care, education, and entertainment, but the evaluation system for evaluating usability is still insufficient. Therefore, this study aims to derive improvements in domestic equipment through comparative evaluation of usability for two HMD-type devices and one glasses-type device that are released. In order to conduct the study, 20 participants in their 20s to 30s who were interested in XR devices and had no visual sensory organ-related disabilities were evaluated by wearing VR equipment. As a quantitative evaluation, electromyography through an EMG sensor and the device and body temperature of the device through a thermal imaging camera were measured. As a qualitative evaluation, the safety of wearing, ease of wearing, comfort of wearing, and satisfaction of wearing were evaluated. As a result of comparing the usability of the devices based on the results, it was confirmed that domestic HMD-type device needs improvement in the strap part.

Recently open data has been spread rapidly in the world include Korea. Accordingly in international trade field open data and using it became a key point to get competitiveness. In this study, the author make an attempt to suggest the way for quality improvement of international trade information by looking for some problems with crating and using the information. Thus, the problems of using information are can be point out as follows. Firstly the range of open data is narrow. Secondly the management of the open data is not conducted properly. Thirdly the suppliers of the open data didn't prepare some investigation system for their data's usability for user. Expansion of the organizations who open data is one way to solve quantitative problem. There are four suggestions to solve qualitative problems. Firstly the guidelines should be established and operated in each organizations respectively. Secondly the criterion of expenses for open data should be arranged among the concerned parties. Thirdly the ability of the manpower and organization who charged in the quality improvement of information should be reinforced both quantitatively and qualitatively. Lastly the system for data usability for user should be equipped in early stages. Finally the author emphasize the establishment of total management system for using open data in international trade is not needed only the efforts of the specific parties but also all parties led by Ministry of Industry, Trade and Energy in order to carry out above suggestions successfully.

본 논문은 초 고령화 사회를 앞두고 실버 세대의 의존성을 보완하기 위한 웹 환경의 개선 방향을 제안하는 것이 목적이다. 이를 위해 일반인에 비해 다양한 장애를 가지고 있는 실버 세대의 웹 환경 개선을 위해서, 내용 구성과 기능 보강을 통한 웹 인터페이스 기능 확장 사례를 통해 접근성과 사용성을 높일 수 있는 방안을 조사하였다. 조사 결과 실버세대와 관련 사이트에서 웹 사용성을 높이고자 하는 시도는 긍정적이었지만, 통일되지 않은 인터페이스디자인으로 사용자에게 새로운 학습이 요구되고 개발 업체는 표준화되지 못한 디자인을 양산하는 문제점이 나타났다. 이에 운영체제의 모듈 지원, 표준화된 디자인 방안 수립 등의 해결 방향 제시를 통해 실버세대의 정보화 사회 적응을 유도하기 위한 웹 환경 개선 방향을 제안한다.
