It is an urgent time to give impetus to an ecological understanding of relationship between man and environment and to promote an action to preserve environment. This paper is to examine factors which give influence to environmental education environmental consciousness and environmental behavior of housewives. The subjects of this study are 806 Seoulite housewives. A questionaire is used as the survey method and the statistical methods such as frequency percentage ANOVA multiple regression path analysis have been applied for research. Major findings are summarized as follows: Major findings are summarized as follows: When environmental education program is relatively low differences are shown according to variables of age, education and occupation. Second, when environmental consciousness is high differences are shown according to variables of age education income and housing. Third when environmental behavior is low group difference is shown only according to age. Relative influence to environmental behaviour is shown in the order of spare-life type environmental education environmental consciousness socio-oriented type fashion-oriented type and age difference.

In order to find out better policy strategies for public nanny service, this study tried to find out the characteristics and the major problems of this service based on 24 in-depth interviews and 7 focus group interviews with nannies, beneficiaries, managers, and public agents. Research findings showed that public nanny service was effectively filling the gap between nursery care services and parent's care services(especially who are both working). Also, this service provided tailored support to parents who have urgent or unexpected problems which prohibit them from properly caring their children. Especially this service effectively worked for temporary needs of caring young children. This study proposes these two strategies as follows: First, the beneficiary selection criteria should be updated. Second, the level and types of available time should be raised to fit the diverse needs of parents.

The origin of the galaxies represents an important focus of current cosmological research, both observational and theoretical. Its resolution involves a comprehensive understanding of star formation and evolution, galaxy dynamics, supermassive black holes, and the cosmology of the very early universe. In this paper, I will review our current understanding of galaxy formation and review some of the challenges that lie ahead. Specific issues that I address include the galaxy luminosity function, feedback by supernovae and by AGN, and downsizing. I argue that current evidence favours two distinct modes of star formation in the early universe, in order to account for the origin of disk and massive spheroidal galaxies. However perhaps the most urgent need is for a robust theory of star formation.

Sunchon National University Farming Promotion Center is a unique social education institution for the farmers. This study intends to analyze the educational and training programs for future farmer candidates with a expert technology, successors to the rural leaders of Saemaul Movements, expert farmers, the students of farming practice courses in the Department of Agricultural Education, and the citizens participating in the social education courses. It is an urgent problem to recruit the experts in social education, and in specialized and advanced farm management technology. A committee for the betterment of the social education program should be consisted of the social education experts, and alumni of the Farming Promotion Center to share their farming information with one another. In order to achieve the successful goal in the education program of the Farming Promotion Center, the well planned field trips and the supervised farming practices should be secured, and the follow-up management system for the people finishing the courses of the educational programs should be formulated.

The purpose of this research is to identify the overall operation status of the marine program, which operates in the Department attempted, in various qualities and operational programs consisting of lecturers derives the problem, and to the policy proposal accordingly. This thesis aimed at studying the development of the engineering manpower in industrial society today. In order to achieve the purpose, we must to be supported by its training to be based on the continuous government planning for the development of manpower It is proper that strategic management should be conducted for the vocational engineer training. In the view of the present situation, we dare assert that the following management should be followed ; 1. We believe that the motives of the engineer will be caused by the law of official rearing, 2. For the manager's concern, it is need for the system of accounting in the manpower to be established, 3. For the efficiency each other, it is urgent to take a trianqular position for the confidence through the value of rationalism above all mentioned words are concerned with having high morale and a normal act for the engineer.

Forage barley was developed for decreasing the import of forages, and increasing the farmer' income about ten years ago. Nevertheless of higher of farmer' income, the forage barley' area is slowly increased because of lacking of barely seeds. In order to suggest the plan of the urgent spreading on forage barley, the seed-gathering of forage barley was cultivated on 14-provinces and 291ha on 2009. The cultivation area of kyeungnam, kyeungbuk and chunnam province was more than other provence. The youngyang cultivar was cultivated more than orher cultivar. Seed-gathering amount of Youngyang, Uhoo and Yooyun cultiva was 364,213 and 303MT respectively. There were several problems for seed-gathering of forage barley which were the delay of seeding time and the more seeding amount, and the higher seed drying temperature than that of standard manual.

An effective method of obstacle avoidance for omni-directional mobile robots is proposed to avoid moving obstacles in dynamic environments. Our method uses the concept of circle lists which represent the trajectories of robot and obstacles. This method predicts not only collision position but also collision time, and hence it enables the robot avoiding the most urgent collision first. In order to avoid obstacles, our method uses artificial repulsive force and contraction force. Simulation results show that the robot could avoid obstacles effectively.

Nowadays, Korean society is quickly transforming into an aging society. There are lots of problems resulting from old aged society. First of all, in the case of medical service, it is an urgent task to find out what is the most proper care for the elderly in order to reduce medical expenses. It can be said that the geriatric hospital has to be designed to give adequate medical service to the elderly. However, it is hard to find out what the differences is between the general hospital and the geriatric hospital. Especially, the plan of the patient room has to reflect thoughtful consideration relating to characteristics of the elderly due to the fact that there is a close connection between the patient room and residence. Therefore this study aims to suggest the guideline and the plan of the patient room for the elderly.

In order to solve the complicated problems faced by the spread of diversified information devices and changes in the user environment in recent years, the importance of training creative talent as well as the need for interdisciplinary convergent approach have emerged. As a future technology development project, convergence education with the design sector for training creative talent in the IT field is also urgent. In this study, we recognized the importance and problems of the convergent approach between IT and design sector by examining the convergence theory and cases with a focus on effective creativity development and sought a new direction for convergence education in the future by investigating the awareness on the convergent approach of college students and analyzing the results. This will be able to have significance as a basic study for discovering creative and innovative convergent talent in the IT and design sector in the future and strengthening basic competence.
