Wireless Traffic Signal Light using Fuzzy Rules

  • In this paper, we wish to construct a optimal traffic cycle using wire remote control. if police vehicle or ambulance suddenly enter the traffic intersection, it will increase the traffic accident. In this paper, wireless traffic light use the radio traffic control signal and research about the hardware manufacture to check special detectors on urgency vehicles may safety and rapidly enter traffic intersection. Also, this paper present a traffic signal control conditions that analyzes different traffic intersection flows in cases of saturated flows, where the real traffic volume demand is large and the capacity constraints of bottlenecks have significant effects on the flow patterns. Through computer simulation this wireless traffic light has been proven to be much more safety and efficient than fixed traffic signal light which does not considering emergency vehicles for safety escort.

전남 초등학교의 급식유형별 급식관리 실태 (Food Service Management in Elementary School in Chunnam Province)

  • This study was undertaken to assess the school flood service management and its perception by dietitians. Questionnaries were developed and answered by 162 dietitians in elementary schools in Chollanam-do. The duration of the flood service system was the longest in remote areas followed by rural and urban areas. The average number of persons served a day was 680 per dietitians. More than three schools were supervised by 52.4% of dietitians. Lack of facilities, including restrooms for the flood service personnel and storage compartments for convenience products were indicated. Regardless of the type of school flood service system, the dietitians pointed out that they urgency needed gas fryers, gas griddles and vegetable cutters, which would be helpful in preparing fried flood for the students. Despite the dietitians' eagerness to teach nutritional education, 80.9% of the respondents did not provide nutritional education to the students, because of the lack of class roomtime. It was suggested that the teaching nutritional education by dietitians was desperately needed for the improvement of health and the nutritional status of school children.

  • 최근 들어 산업기술 유출 문제의 심각성이 대두됨에 따라 보안에 대한 중요성도 나날이 증대되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 산업기술 보안에 대한 연구 동향과 산업기술 유출 실태에 대해 조사하여 여러 가지 측면에서 분석하였으며, 산업기술 유출 문제의 심각성과 그에 따른 보안의 시급성을 보였다. 마지막으로 산업기술 보안에 필요한 개선 방안을 법률적, 경영 방식, 기술적 측면으로 나누어 제시하였다.

  • 통합설계에서 제약사항을 만족하는 최적의 시스템을 구현하기 위해 시스템을 기술하는 각 부분을 하드웨어부와 소프트웨어부로 나누어 매핑의 권역을 찾는 분할은 중요한 문제이다. 기존의 분할 알고리즘들[1]은 파티션과 스케줄링을 2단계로 분리하여 분할 단계의 결과를 스케줄링하는 과정에 의해 진행되었다. 이러한 작업과정은 스케줄링 결과 스케줄이 불가능한 경우 시스템을 재설계 해야하는 문제점을 가진다. 본 논문에서는 분할 단계에서 스케줄링을 함께 고려하는 낮은 복잡도의 알고리즘을 제안한다. FDS를 응용한 기존 논문[4]이 고려하지 못한 자원제약에 의한 힘값 변이를 고려할 수 있도록 하였고 알고리즘 복잡도를 개선하기 위하여 종속성 제약 조건에 의해 받는 다른 노드의 힘값 계산 방법을 수정하였다. 수정된 계산 방법에서는 특정 노드와 경쟁 노드들의 제어구간별 상대적 스케줄 요구값의 크기에 의해 분할 대상 노드를 선택하게 된다. 제안된 논문의 실험결과는 시스템 제약시간을 만족하면서 구현비용을 저하시키고 알고리즘 실행시간 측면에서 효과적임을 보인다.

  • Lots of investment projects of new development and redevelopment for information systems have been not taken care of in the field of administration and evaluation, for these information systems projects have unique characteristics such as technology sensitiveness, network effectiveness, embeddedness, and externality. In fact, quantitative and qualitative evaluation of investments in information systems projects are not sufficient. It is critically important to generally evaluate benefits of development or operation cost, urgency, external effects, and so on. In addition, the efficient monitoring and effective analysis of information systems are surely needed for beneficient results of investment in information systems. We propose an economics evaluation model for information systems projects.

Urgency of LiFePO4 as cathode material for Li-ion batteries

  • The energy crisis involving depletion of fossil fuel resource is not the sole driving force for developing renewable energy technologies. Another driving force is the ever increasing concerns on the air quality of our planet, associated with the continuous and dramatic increase of the concentration of greenhouse gas (mainly carbon dioxide) emissions. The internal combustion engine is a major source of distributed $CO_2$ emissions caused by combustion of gasoline derived largely from fossil fuel. Another major source of $CO_2$ is the combustion of fossil fuels to produce electricity. New technologies for generating electricity from sources that do not emit $CO_2$, such as water, solar, wind, and nuclear, together with the advent of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) and even all-electric vehicles (EVs), offer the potential of alleviating our present problem. Therefore, the relevant technologies in $LiFePO_4$ as cathode material for Li-ion batteries suitable to the friendly environment are reviewed aim to provide the vital information about the growing field for energies to minimize the potential environmental risks.

  • Until now, the eco-friendly construction (green construction) has been focused on reducing environmental impacts in use(operation and maintenance) phase. Considering the environmental influence along the life cycle of construction project, the impact in execution phase is rather lower than that in use phase. However, that impact is thought to be greatly decreased by well-organized activities. Based on its urgency and requirement for timely action, this study aimed to discuss the greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction plan in execution phase from a broad perspective. To achieve this purpose, the green building rating systems in domestic and foreign countries have been reviewed, and the practice in Japan was investigated. In order to improve current on-site greenhouse gas management, the integration among construction phases, participants, and environmental factors, and institutional supports are required as well as the contractor's efforts.

시나리오 기반 환자 분배 및 의료진 할당을 위한 재난 대응 최적화 모형 연구 (Scenario-Based Optimization of Patient Distribution and Medical Resource Allocation in Disaster Response)

  • This study proposes an optimization model to plan the patient distribution and medical resource allocation considering the diverse characteristics of disaster. For reflecting the particularity of disaster response, we configured a few scenarios such as availability of emergency surgery of non-major medical staff and the change in number of patients estimated reflecting the uncertainty, urgency and convergence of disaster. And we finally tested the effects of the scenarios' combination on the objective function defined as maximum number of survival patients. Our experimental results are expected to highlight the significance of the proposed model as well as the applicability of scenarios under disaster response.

대학도서관의 공간사용 실태에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Space Usages of Academic Libraries)

  • Korean academic libraries are facing serious space shortage problems due to an inability to accommodate for the rapidly increasing number of printed materials. Despite the current situation, Korean academic libraries have largely focused on impractical applications of the new library paradigm, using technology or management programs to improve the quality of research and learning environments of the university. However, such improvements would be fruitless without first resolving the space shortage crisis. In order to make realistic improvements to the quality of academic libraries, this study used questionnaires to employ the opinions of librarians currently practicing at such Korean libraries. Survey questionnaires about types and causes of space shortage problems, library facility expansion plans, expected effects of expansion, frequency of and reasons for furniture relocation, and tight spaces needing improvement were distributed to selected 4-year college librarians through Google Drive. Analysis of survey responses indicated that library space shortage was largely responsible for the hindrance of research and learning environments. Furthermore, it reflected the urgency to secure book storage space.

  • 주어진 실시간 환경의 복잡성 때문에. 항상 최적의 행동을 수행하는 완벽하게 이성적인 에이전트 (rational agent) 의 구현은 실질적으로 가능하지 않다. 이러한 실시간 문제 해결기법에서의 전통적인 접근 방식은 미리 정의된 규약에 의존한 조건-행동 추론 방식이다. 이러한 조건-행동추론 방식은 문제 영역이 다양하거나 문제의 재설계가 필요한 경우에는 아무런 해법을 갖지 못한다. 따라서 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 주어진 행동들의 유틸리티를 실시간에 계산하고, 긴급한 정도를 측정하여 상황이 긴급할 경우에는 더 이상의 계산을 중단하고 즉각적인 행동을 취하며. 반면에 상황이 긴급하지 않을 경우에는 최선의 의사결정을 위하여 추가적인 정보를 고려하여 더 바람직한 행동을 결정하는 방법론을 제안한다. 제안한 방법론의 평가를 위하여 시간 제약적인 환경에서 최선의 의사결정을 수행하는 실질적이며 유연한 에이전트를 구현 하고자 한다.
