GIS를 활용한 광주광역시 도시재생방향에 대한 기초연구 (A Basic Study on Urban Regeneration in Gwangju-City Using GIS)

  • The purpose of this study is to present an appropriate approach to urban regeneration by analyzing Gwangju Metropolitan City. For the study, residential area of Asia Culture Complex was analyzed based on GIS. The areas concerned were categorized and looked into by their Situation based on the analysis of urban infrastructure state. However, as the architectural space within a city are limited, and accurate assessment of them is needed. The residential areas have the following characteristics. They become an aging and dilapidating residential and socially underprivileged-concentrated area. It is necessary to set up a direction for a future-oriented planning for the development of these areas. Along with a decreasing population, it is important to improve the urban architecture environment for the elderly in an aging society. The economic growth of a city if necessary for the future. Therefore, the criteria for the assessment is required. And the subsequent setting-up and planning of a future direction for a city is badly needed. After that, an accurate assessment of a city called for. City space allows for various interpretations. As the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer, a wealth is concentrated on one district or an area.

도시형 한옥지구의 녹환경 인식구조에 관한 연구 -도시 주택지 녹환경에 관한 연구(I)- (A Study on the Cognitive Structure of Green Environment of Traditional Urban Residential Areas)

  • This paper is to clarify a cognitive structure of green environment in the traditional urban residential areas. The following is the result of analysis; 1) According to the survey of created actual condition of the green environment, the main space was consisted of court(74%). The percentage of preference locations for green environment at the court and the alley are 71, 60 respectively. The main reason to creat green environment resulted admiration and enjoyment. 2) The degree of $\ulcorner$agreeableness$\lrcorner$ and $\ulcorner$nobleness$\lrcorner$ of the house were increased by creating green environment in a house, and the degree of $\ulcorner$neighborhood$\lrcorner$ and $\ulcorner$familarity$\lrcorner$ were increased by creating green environment out side of house. 3) According to the analysis of a correlation between the degree of satisfaction and the image, $\ulcorner$agreeableness$\lrcorner$ has an interrelation with all factors of image. Therefore, the creating of $\ulcorner$agreeableness$\lrcorner$ is a main problem for raising the whole image of the residential areas.

부산의 주거정비사업 추진에 미치는 영향요인 분석 (An Analysis of Locational Factors to Affect Residential Improvement Projects in Busan Metropolitan City)

  • 부산지역 내 주거정비사업들의 추진이 매우 부진한 실정이다. 도시 및 주거 정비 기본계획상 정비예정구역의 지정 시 사업추진을 고려하지 않은 채 예정구역을 지정함으로 발생된 문제로 인식된다. 본 연구에서는 부산의 입지적 요인들이 사업추진가능성에 영향을 미친다고 가정하여 영향요인변수를 위치적 조건, 지형적조건, 규모적 조건, 입지유형적 조건, 규제적 조건 등 5개의 조건으로 구분하고 12개의 항목을 선정하여 이들 요소들이 사업추진에 어떠한 영향을 미치고 있는 지를 규명하였다. 판별분석한 결과 재개발의 경우 사업추진에 크게 영향력을 미치는 변수로는 사업용적율, 정비유형, 면적이 대표적인 요인으로 작용하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한 재건축의 경우 사업추진에 미치는 영향력이 큰 변수로 사업용적율, 정비유형, 전면도로폭, 경사 등으로 분석되었다.

농촌다운 주거환경 조성을 위한 평가항목 개발 및 중요도 분석 - 네트워크 분석과 AHP 분석 활용 - (Development and importance analysis of evaluation factors for formation of future-oriented rural residential environment: using network analysis and AHP analysis)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the evaluation factors for formation of the future - oriented rural residential environment and to derive the importance of this evaluation factors. The main research methods are network analysis using Net-miner, AHP analysis and importance analysis for experts. The main research results are as follows. First, 6 factors for evaluation rural residential environment(environmental-sustainability, communality, self-reliance, aesthetic, enjoyment, settlement), 3 sub-factors of each factors, and key physical facilities(10 for rural center and 28 for rural villages) were derived by literature analysis and network analysis on it. Second, key priority factors that should be considered in physical formation of rural residential environment was deducted by AHP analysis. Improving accessibility of living services in the settlement factor, improvement of garbage collection and wastewater treatment system around the residential area, and ensuring topographic continuity in the environmental-sustainability factor was derived as a priority factors. Third, as a result of evaluation of the importance of physical facilities in the rural residential environment, there was a high demand for cultural welfare facilities in common. However, when compared with the villages where the harmony between the natural environment and the living environment is emphasized, convenience of living and accessibility of transportation were important in the rural center. These results suggest that solving the qualitative conditions as residential environment will help to attract new population. This study will contribute to enhance the qualitative level of the rural residential environment by suggesting strategic priority items when carrying out projects related to the rural residential environment creation in the future.

Satellite-based Assessment of Ecosystem Services Considering Social Demand for Reduction of Fine Particulate Matter in Seoul

  • Fine particulate matter (PM2.5) has been the biggest environmental problem in Korea since the 2010s. The present study considers the value of urban forests and green infrastructure as an ecosystem service (ES) concept for PM2.5 reduction based on satellite and spatial data, with a focus on Seoul, Korea A method for the spatial ES assessment that considers social demand variables such as population and land price is suggested. First, an ES assessment based on natural environment information confirms that, while the vitality of vegetation is relatively low, the ES is high in the city center and residential areas, where the concentration of PM2.5 is high. Then, the ES assessment considering social demand (i.e., the ESS) confirms the existence of higher PM2.5 values in residential areas with high population density, and in main downtown areas. This is because the ESS of urban green infrastructure is high in areas with high land prices, high population density, and above-average PM2.5 concentrations. Further, when a future green infrastructure improvement scenario that considers the urban forest management plan is applied, the area of very high ESS is increased by 74% when the vegetation greenness of the green infrastructure in the residential area is increased by only 20%. This result suggests that green infrastructure and urban forests in the residential area should be continuously expanded and managed in order to maximize the PM2.5 reduction ES.

주거지역 종세분화에 따른 바람환경 분석 (An Analysis of Wind environment on the Basis of reclassified Zoning)

  • Various environmental problems due to the rapid industralization and urbanization have been worsened as much as to threaten the environmental restitution of globe and become a critical international issue. Korean government presented the green growth as a new state vision for 60 years afterwards and is making efforts to solve the environmental problems. Daegu metropolitan city has faced various environmental problems including overpopulation of cities, traffic pollution, household wastes and green zone problem because of urbanization for the last decades. As such urbanism continues, the quality of residential environment is rapidly deteriorating and the intensive use of land leads to increase of building area raising the temperature of cities. Therefore there have been demands for the healthy, pleasant and satisfying residential environment and the improvement of residential environment and such recognition rises from society in full measure. Nevertheless the current residential complex concentrates only on raising the efficiency of land use. Related laws in the past(Daegu Metropolitan City, Urban Planning Municipal Ordinance as of October 10, 2003) tried to prepare a standard to segmentalize the building-to-land ratio, floor area ratio and regulations of number of floors vertically, but currently it is abolished and the regulations are becoming eased. The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of the floating wind before and after the vertical segmentation of residential areas(Daegu Metropolitan City, Urban Planning Municipal Ordinance as of October 10, 2003) by using KLAM_21, a model that enables analysing and predicting the flow and generation of clod wind, and to present a plan to improve the quality of residential areas afterwards when developing building lot and re-developing housing areas.

농촌지역 이재민 임시주거시설 지정 현황 및 개선 방안 (Analysis of Temporary Housing for the Displaced People in Rural Area Emergencies)

  • 본 연구에서는 전국 실제 이재민 임시주거시설 지정 현황에 대한 면밀한 조사와 분석을 통하여 농촌지역과 도시지역의 이재민 임시주거시설의 격차를 해소하고자, 전국의 이재민 임시주거시설의 현황을 파악하였다. 분석결과, 도시지역의 지정된 이재민 임시주거시설이 농촌지역보다 시설면적이 크고 수용능력이 높은 시설 위주임을 추정 할 수 있으므로 농촌지역 역시 많은 인원을 수용할 수 있는 능력을 갖춘 새로운 시설 지정이 필요하다고 판단된다. 또한 농촌지역 대표지역 이재민 임시주거시설 분석결과 지자체마다 이재민 임시주거시설 종류가 상이하게 지정 되었으며, 개소수 역시 지자체별 편차가 크게 나타났다. 이에 지자체에서 이재민 임시주거시설을 지정하는 절차와 체계의 개선이 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

도시단독주택지 저층고밀형 집합주택 모델의 적용에 관한 연구 - 우이동 국민주택단지를 대상으로 - (A Study on the Application of Low-Rise and High-Density Multiple Dwelling Housing Model in Urban Individual Residential Area - Focused on Ui-dong Public Detached Housing Area -)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the indiscriminate development occuring as a result of high-density land use per lot in residential areas of Seoul, which mainly consist of detached houses. The primary goals of this study were: (1) to suggest a block unit development method as an alternative architectural method of the current uniform development, in which high-rise and high-density apartments are usually built; and (2) to check the feasibility of the suggested method. Based on the analyses of the existing block composition types of residential areas, the prerequisite planning indices for applying a collective housing model were investigated. Subsequent to applying a collective housing type within each unit block, the collective housing model was analyzed. The results of the analyses showed that indiscriminate development was rampant in detached urban houses areas, and more than 70% of the buildings constructed before the 1980s needed re-development. The feasibility of the models was investigated depending on the models of low-rise and high-density collective housing, which utilize various block arrangements such as the court type, linear type, villa type, and composite type. The results of this study showed that the newly applied low-rise and highdensity multiple dwelling housing model in urban individual residential area significantly contributed to creating a good living environment in terms of both physical and psychological aspects.

Reconfiguration of Korea Highrise Residential Spaces in Response to Pandemic

  • In modern society, rapid environmental changes are occurring due to the complex interaction of various factors. Starting in 2020, the social environment is changing rapidly due to the impact of the pandemic, and the social and economic living environment is changing significantly not only in Korea but also internationally. In this trend, behavioral and spatial changes are occurring in response to changes in the architectural living environment. To analyze changes in behavior and space from an architectural perspective in response to changes in the social environment, first organize the concept and aspects of the pandemic that caused the change, examine the theory of the pandemic, and examine architectural responses to changes in the social environment. There is a need to analyze. Therefore, in order to architecturally review changes in the social environment due to the pandemic, the purpose of this study is to analyze the living behavior and space of major highrise residential complexes in the living environment and present new spatial alternatives in response.
