명청시기 서주성(徐州城)의 건설과 도시공간 연구 (A study on the construction and urban space of Xuzhou(徐州) Castle during the Ming and Qing Dynasties)

  • Seoju is one of the nine weeks of the ancient period, and according to literature records, the construction of Seojuseong Fortress has a long history of 2573. This is the land of Oseongtong-gu, a political and military hub, and flood disasters have frequently led to frequent reconstruction of fortresses. In particular, it is also an important place to show that the function of the fortress is defensive and has a function of preventing floods. This study analyzed the shape of Seojuseong Fortress and the characteristics of urban spaces in the Myeongcheong period through excavation data and literature data.

  • 도심지 고층건축공사는 인접 건물과 도로에 의해 둘러 쌓여 있어 여유공간이 부족하고, 소음과 분진 등에 의한 문제가 발생한다. 이러한 문제들은 철저한 공사계획을 통해 여유공간을 효율적으로 활용하고, 공사 지원시설을 적절히 사용하는 가설계획을 통해 해결될 수 있다. 본 연구는 고층건축공사의 가설계획의 영향요소를 분석하고, 이를 활용한 가설계획의 대안 평가와 선정 방법을 제시하고 있다. 가설계획을 수립하는 과정에서 필요한 지식을 체계화하고 대안평가 방법을 적용하여 현장 관리자가 계획을 수립하는 과정을 지원할 수 있는 시스템을 구현하였다. 제안된 대안 평가 및 선정 방법과 구현된 시스템의 타당성을 검증하기 위해 사례 연구를 수행하였다.

환경친화.자원절약형 농촌마을 계획기술 및 배치모델 연구 (The Planning Techniques and Layout Models of Sustainable Rural Villages)

  • This study intends to select the planning techniques and develop the layouts of environmentally friendly rural villages. As the results of this study, the planning techniques of rural villages are as follows: (1) Development of agricultural technology(organic farming), (2) Environmentally friendly layout considering natural energy, conservation of natural landscape and ecosystem, and sewage and rainwater, (3) Community restoration considering joint work, economic interchange between urban people and rural residents, and unity of rural resident's opinion, and (4) Activation of rural tourism considering satisfaction of tourists, conservation of ecological and cultural resources, and resident's income increasement. According to these 4 techniques, this study also developed 4 general models: (1) land-use and flow, (2) green and blue networks, (3) networks of ecological and cultural resources, and (4) finally residential model, divided rural villages into 2 types. Therefore when we develop a countryside, we can apply to these models, considering the current ecological and cultural resources conditions.

Optimal Design of Tall Residential Building with RC Shear Wall and with Rectangular Layout

  • The objective of optimization is to present a design process that minimizes the total material consumption while satisfying current codes and specifications. In the research an optimization formulation for RC shear wall structures is proposed. And based on conceptual design methodology, an optimization process is investigated. Then optimal design techniques and specific explanations are introduced for residential buildings with shear wall structure, especially for that with a rectangular layout. An example of 30-story building is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed optimal design process. Furthermore, the influence of aspect ratio on the concrete consumption and the steel consumption of the superstructure are analyzed for this typical RC shear wall structure; and their relations are obtained by regressive analysis. Finally, the optimal material consumption is suggested for the residential building with RC shear wall structure and with rectangular layout. The relation and the data suggested can be used for guiding the design of similar RC shear wall structures.

The Effect of Cafe Atmosphere on Purchase Decision: Empirical Evidence from Generation Z in Indonesia

  • In Indonesia, coffee shops, commonly called warung or kedai shops, have begun to appear amid society from remote villages to urban centers. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine the effect of cafe atmosphere (i.e., exterior, interior, interior point-of-purchase displays and store layout) on the purchase decision of Generation Z. This study is conducted because of cafe competition is currently overgrowing. This study model consisted of five variables: exterior, interior, interior point-of-purchase displays, store layout, and purchase decision. Sampling in this study used non-probability, with a purposive sampling technique. According to predetermined criteria, the data collection technique employed a questionnaire distributed online to consumers had visited a cafe at least once in the last three months. This study's sample was 137 cafe visitors in Yogyakarta, representing one of the big cities in Indonesia. Therefore, the data was analyzed by using multiple regression. The results of the study indicated that the exterior and interior had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decision. Likewise, interior point-of-purchase displays and store layout positively and significantly affected purchase decision. In addition, this study's findings generally concluded that the cafe atmosphere had a positive and significant effect on purchase decision.

경주지역 도시한옥의 시대별 건축특성에 관한 연구 -황남동 한옥보존지구를 중심으로- (A Study on the Periodical Characteristics of Urban Traditional House in Gyeongju -Focused on Hwang-Nam Hanok Conservation Area-)

  • Urban traditional housing is a type of the urban housing which have developed by itself from the traditional vernacular houses and it has continued with a traditional feature in the westernization and modernization affection of Korea. Also, the urban traditional housing is still one of the housing in the present and it makes a urban village with a rich culture benefit and fresh natural environment. The purpose of this study is to analyze the periodical characteristics of urban traditional house in korea's provincial town Gyeongju. The local range is Hwang-Nam Hanok Conservation Area in Gyeongju and the period range is 1874~2000s. So the first period from 1874 to 1909, the second period is 1910 to 1945, the third period is 1946 to 1969, the fourth period is 1970s, and the fifth period is since the 1980s. This classification will be considered of the social phenomenon at the time. The total number of target houses are 8 houses. They were analyzed by layout, floor plan, and elevation characteristics of urban traditional house. For structure of this study, Chapter 1, establishes the goal and range of study. Chapter 2, 3, examines distinctions of urban traditional house with traditional house, and meaning of urban traditional house, and transition of urban traditional house. Chapter 4, establishes formality to analysis, and performed from plan to elevation analysis, observation survey, and interview through door-to-door survey, and clarifies trend and characteristic of urban traditional house's change by integrating the results, and Chapter 5, is results integrating the above studies.

Study on Structural Efficiency of Super-Tall Buildings

  • Based on a 405m high super-tall building, the influence of outriggers, different shapes and layouts of structural plane and elevation on structural efficiency under lateral forces is studied in this paper. A calculation formula concerning the structural efficiency is given. The study shows that structural efficiency can be improved by triangulating the plane shape, using mega columns, the peripherization of the plane layout, tapering the elevation shape and setting bracing structure in the elevation. The arrangement of outriggers between the core tube and flange frame can reduce the shear lag effect in order to improve structural efficiency. The essence of improving structural efficiency of super-tall buildings is to maximize the plane bending stiffness and to make its deformation approach to plane section assumption.

공동주택의 물리적 형태와 밀도의 상관성 연구 (A Study on the Inter-Relationships between Physical Form and Density of Multi-Family Housing)

  • Multi-family housings caused several problems related to physical form such as isolation of housing estate, inhumanity of the exterior space, and mismatch with the urban structure. To handle these problems, the purpose of this study is to analyse density elements which have a direct impact on physical forms, thereby understand the characteristics of physical form and also identify a meaning of inter-relationships between them. Therefore both formal constituents and density elements are reformed into respective analyzing indices. From the analysis, physical form and the spatial layout of buildings were more uniform in large-scale housing estates than in medium or small housing estates. However, small-scale housing estates showed various form and the spatial layout of buildings in order to increase the building density.

서울 서촌지역 골목의 형태 유형 및 특성 분석 (Analysis on the Types and Characters of Alley in Seochon District in Seoul)

  • 'Alley' is the community space as the fundamental living space for local residents and also it's the space which characterize the local community. Research is needed to rediscover the value of alleys which are disappearing due to urban planning. This research focuses on Seochon (current Saejong village) alleys and classify the types of alleys where residential density is seen. Further, this research aims the analysis of dwellings which use the alleys and the characteristics of the layout of alleys. Followings are the research results; 1) Major classifications are 'through alleys' and 'dead end alleys' and there is higher ratio for dead end alleys. 2) Majority of Seochon alleys have the width of more than 1.5 m and less than 3.6 m. 3) There are four types of alleys and straight alleys are most common. 4) Various type of alleys can be found where the width is wider. 5) In case of dead end alleys, there is a tendency of both sides layout rather than one side layout of dwellings. 6) Clusters of hanok can be found at Chebu-dong, Tongin-dong, Nuha-dong and Tongui-dong whereas modern dwellings and villas are more common in Nusang-dong and Ogin-dong. This research analyzes the current status of Seochon alleys and rediscover the value of alleys. This research also provides and presents the basic data materials for continuous sustainable method to keep alleys which characterize the local area.

도심활성화를 위한 용도별 지역연계 공영주차장 계획특성에 관한 연구 -산타바바라시의 공영주차장 비교를 중심으로- (A Study on District Respectable Public Parking Planning for Urban Revitalization -Comparison of Santa Barbara Public Parking System-)

  • 본 연구는 도심활성화를 위한 기본적 인프라인 공영주차장의 특성과 역할을 도시, 건축적 관점을 통하여 도심의 일반적 용도인 상업업무지역, 문화관광지역, 판매시장지역의 세 가지 유형으로 구분하고 지역과 연계를 통하여 분석하였다. 공영주차장의 문제점과 계획전략을 산타바바라시의 사례와 국내사례의 비교를 통하여 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 공영주차장의 입지와 배치계획은 도시와의 연계성을 존중하여 출입구를 배치하여야 한다. 둘째, 공영주차장은 지역의 특성과 사용의 편의성에 중점을 두어야 한다. 공공에서의 공영주차장 설치도 중요하지만 지역의 공공과 민간 협력에 의한 공영주차장의 계획은 산타바바라시의 사례처럼 보다 성공적인 결과를 나타낸다. 셋째, 공영주차장의 성공적인 계획은 대상지역의 가로와 보행공간의 활성화로 이어진다는 점이며 이는 지역 경제와 도심활성화로 귀결된다.
