The Design of Abstract Layer for Motion Capture System (모션캡처 시스템을 위한 추상레이어의 설계)

  • In this paper, the abstract layer for motion capture system is designed and implemented to meet the various hardware and different capturing method. The abstract layer can offer the unified programming by providing device independent API(Application Programming Interface). The device drivers of the optical system and mechanical system are emulated to verify the designed abstract layer. The optical system employs the AOA Ole while the mechanical system uses BVH file. An application program is written to call the abstract layer functions to drive both optical and mechanical drivers and receive the frame data, simulated motion data, that are displayed sequentially on the computer screen by utilizing Direct3D.

  • Unified power flow controller (UPFC) is the most reliable device in the FACTS concept. It has the ability to adjust all three control parameters effective in power flow and voltage stability. In this paper, a linearized model of a power system installed with a UPFC has been presented. UPFC has four control loops that by adding an extra signal to one of them, increases dynamic stability and load angle oscillations are damped. In this paper, after open loop eigenvalue (electro mechanical mode) calculations, state-space equations have been used to design damping controller and it has been considered to influence active and reactive power flow durations as the input of damping controller, in addition to the common speed duration of synchronous generators as input damper signal. To increase stability, further Lead-Lag and LQR controllers, a novel on-line adaptive controller has been used analytically to identify power system parameters. Closed-loop calculations of the electro mechanical mode verify the improvement of system pole placement after controller designing. Suitable operation of adaptive controller to decrease rotor speed oscillations against input mechanical torque disturbances is confirmed by the simulation results.

  • The mass balancing of rotors is an integral part of the study practice of the rotor dynamics. Any machine with rotating components is considered to be rotating machine. The part of a rotating machine that rotates in normal operation is generally reffered to as a rotor. A rotor is flexible if it deforms when the machine is operating at any speed up to its maximum design speed. Otherwise, the rotor is rigid. The general Purpose of the study of rotor dynamics is to increase understanding of rotor vibration phenomena and thus provide a means for controlling or eliminating these vitrations. As the efficiency of rotating machinery has been increased through reduced weight and increased speed, which implies increasement of rotor flexibility, the control of rotor vibration has become essential. Thus, the study and practice of rotor dynamaics has taken on an increasingly important role in recent years. Therefore many workers have studied about this and introduced a few balancing methods of flexible rotor, which can be classified mainly in following four sorts, 1. Polar plotting methed 2. Modal balancing method 3. Influence coefficient method 4. Unified balancing approach In this paper practical theories of rotor dynamics related to flexible rotor balancing have been reviewed and confirmed the calculation results of flexible balancing of typical rotor, as an example, respectively

  • 오늘날의 컴퓨팅 시스템은 비즈니스 거래와 분산 업무 처리로 확대되어가고 있으며 정보 기술은 점차적으로 재사용성과 독립성 그리고 이식성을 가진 컴포넌트를 기반으로 한 응용 개발이 확산되고 있다. 컴포넌트 개발 형태는 코드의 재사용이나 클래스 라이브러리보다 좀 더 발전된 형태의 부품개발 형태로서, CBD(Component Based Development)를 기초로 한다. 그러나 CBD를 이용하여 새로운 컴포넌트를 구축하는 비용의 증가와 함께 비즈니스 요구사항에 맞는 컴포넌트 개발을 위한 노력이 필요하며, 빠르고 정확한 컴포넌트 정보를 지원할 수 있도록 시스템 측면에서 정규화 형태의 컴포넌트 모델이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 사용자 요구사항에 접근하고, 재사용성과 독립성, 그리고 이식성을 가진 컴포넌트를 추출하고, 컴포넌트를 대상으로 인터페이스 나타내고자 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 학부생들을 위한 학생정보시스템 구축을 위한 시스템 분석 및 설계 모델을 RUP(Rational Unified Processing) 방법론을 이용한다.

Research on dependency of silver generation and web use environment improvement (실버 세대의 의존성과 웹 사용 환경 개선에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this research is to suggest improvement of web environment to supplement dependency of silver generation as we have aged super aged society ahead. In order to improve web environment for silver generation which has more various obstacles than common people, I examined methods to increase accessibility and usability through expansion of web interface by reinforcing contents structure and function. As a result, the try to increase web usability of web sites related to silver generation was positive, but interface designs are not unified which requires users to learn new skills, and developer produce designs that are not standardized. Therefore, I suggest web environment improvement methods to guide silver generation to be adapted to information society by suggesting solutions such as support for module of operation system and establishment of standardized design.

  • CFT structures require a diaphragm to prevent buckling of steel at connections. An outer diaphragm has better concrete filling than a through diaphragm due to a large bore, but due to the larger size than the through diaphragm, it has poorer constructability and cooperation with building equipment. The building structure has a floor slab that was unified with the upper diaphragm, so the outer diaphragm was placed at the upper bound. Moreover, the through diaphragmwas placed at the lower connection to avoid obstruction of the building equipment. The CFT structure with the improved concrete filling showed the same structural behavior as the CFT structure with the use of the same type of diaphragms at the upper and lower connections.

  • RFID 기술을 이루는 핵심 컴포넌트라 할 수 있는 RFID 미들웨어는 태그(Tag)로부터 수신된 대량의 EPC 데이터에 대한 정제를 통하여 응용 프로그램이 요구하는 데이터 형태로의 선처리 기능을 수행하는 역할을 담당하는 소프트웨어 플랫폼이다. RFID 미들웨어로부터 수집, 정제된 데이터들은 해당 데이터들과 연관되는 비즈니스 애플리케이션들이 요구하는 정보에 대한 키로써의 역할을 하게 된다. 이와 같은 태그로부터 수신된 대량의 EPC 데이터와 실제 응용 측이 요구하는 정보와의 맵핑을 통하여 비즈니스 애플리케이션들의 의미있는 데이터로써 활용된다. 이러한 데이터들이 사용되는 비즈니스 프로세스 영역에서의 업무들의 일련의 절차들을 통한 자동화 처리 구성이 가능할 경우, 절차들을 구성하는 단위 업무들과 직접적으로 연계되는 비즈니스 애플리케이션들에 대한 워크플로우를 처리 담당하는 비즈니스 미들웨어와 애플리케이션의 처리에 필요한 관련 데이터와의 연동 방안을 고려하여 통합된 모델을 구성하는 것이 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 RFID 기술의 활용 도메인을 엔터프라이즈 영역에 초점을 맞추고, 비즈니스 업무의 처리 대상이 되는 정보 및 자산들에 대한 데이터 수집 및 관리를 담당하는 RFID 측과 비즈니스 관련 데이터를 바탕으로 실제 비즈니스 프로세스를 구성하는 단위 업무들의 자동화 처리를 담당하는 워크플로우 측과의 연계 방안에 대한 기술 및 통합 프레임워크를 제시하고자 한다.

  • A three-dimensional formulation is proposed to analyze the lateral loading distribution of external actions in high-rise buildings. The method is extended to encompass any combination of bracings, including bracings with open thin-walled cross-sections, which are analyzed in the framework of Timoshenko-Vlasov's theory of sectorial areas. More in detail, the proposed unified approach is a tool for the preliminary stages of structural design. It considers infinitely rigid floors in their own planes, and allows to better understand stress and strain distributions in the different bearing elements if compared to a finite element analysis. Numerical examples, describing the structural response of tall buildings characterized by bracings with different cross-section and height, show the effectiveness and flexibility of the proposed method. The accuracy of the results is investigated by a comparison with finite element solutions, in which the bracings are modelled as three-dimensional structures by means of shell elements.

This program could be made in C++ programming language and Unified Modeling Language to implement various font. font-expanding and condensing, alternative printing.

A Development of Unified and Consistent BIM Database for Integrated Use of BIM-based Quantities, Process, and Construction Costs in Civil Engineering

  • In this study, we have developed a calculation system for BIM-based quantities, 4D process, and 5D construction costs, by integrating object shape attributes and the standard classification system which consist of Cost Breakdown System(CBS), Object Breakdown System(OBS) and Work Breakdown System(WBS) in order to use for the 4 dimensional process control of roads and rivers. First, a new BIM library database connected with the BIM library shape objects was built according to the CBS/OBS/WBS standard classification system of the civil engineering field, and a integrated database system of BIM-based quantities, process(4D), and construction costs(5D) for roads and rivers was constructed. Nextly, the process classification system and the cost classification system were automatically disassembled to the BIM objects consisting of the Revit-family style elements. Finally, we added functions for automatically generating four dimensional activities and generating a automatic cost statement according to the combination of WBS and CBS classification system The ultimate goal of this study was to extend the integrated quantities, process(4D), and construction costs(5D) system for new roads and rivers, enabling the integrated use of process(4D) and construction costs(5D) in the design and construction stage, based on the tasks described above.
