Data communication network design algorithm with minimum cost (최소비용을 갖는 데이터통신망 설계 알고리즘)

  • In this paper, the problem of obtaining topoloty for mesh network given the link costs and traffic requirements between all pairs of nodes is considered. The proposed DCN algorithm can be applied to the mesh network in a unified manner. Among the cost conditions, the triangle intequality of the MENTOR algorithm is removed in the proposed algorithm. The computational complexity of the algorithm is order N$^{3}$, where N is the number of nodes in the network. The performances of proposed algorithm are better than those of the MENTOR algorithm in the case of the cost and the reliability of network.

  • This paper presents the design of a Unified Power Flow Controller(UPFC) for enhancing the small signal voltage stability in the multi-machine power systems. Recently a lot of attention has been paid to the subject of dynamic stability. The paper deals with analysis of eigenvalue sensitivities with respect to parameters of UPFC Controller. The series branch of the UPFC is designed to damp the power oscillation during transients, while the shunt branch aims at maintaining the bus voltage. Comprehensive time-domain simulation studies using Pss/E show that the proposed robost UPFC controller can enhance the small signal stability efficiently in spite of the variations of power system operating conditions.

  • Fiber-Reinforced Polymers (FRP) are used to enhance the behavior of structural components in either shear or flexure. The research conducted in this paper was mainly focused on the shear-strengthening of reinforced and prestressed concrete beams using FRP. The main objective of the research was to identify the parameters affecting the shear capacity provided by FRP and evaluate the accuracy of analytical models. A review of prior experimental data showed that the available analytical models used to estimate the added shear capacity of FRP struggle to provide a unified design equation that can predict accurately the shear contribution of externally applied FRP. In this study, the ACI 440.2R-$08^1$ model and the model developed by Triantafillou and Antonopoulos$^2$ were compared with the prior experimental data. Both analytical models failed to provide a satisfactory prediction of the FRP shear capacity. This study provides insights into potential reasons for the unsatisfactory prediction.

  • This paper presents a family of continuous conduction mode with constant-switching pulse width modulator controllers. Unified implementation of quasi steady state approach for various DC-DC converters topoiogies is illustrated. The property and control low for quasi-state approach will be discussed in this paper. The different procedures will be discussed in details with different results for five commonly used DC-DC converters. Both trailing and leading edge pulse width modulation are used. Leading edge modulation can some times lead to simpler control circuitry as will be demonstrated in some circuits. These controllers do not require the multiplier in the voltage feed back loop, error amplifier in the current loop and rectified line voltage sensor, which are needed by traditional control methods. Controller examples and design arc analyzed.

  • This Paper describes a Nonlinear adoptive noise canceller using Neural Network for Machine Tools Controller System. Back-Propagation Learning Algorithm based MLP (Multi Layer Perceptron)is used an adaptive filters. In this Paper. it assume that the noise of primary input in the adaptive noise canceller is not the same characteristic as that of the reference input. Experimental results show that the neural network base noise canceller outperforms the linear noise canceller. Especially to make noise cancel close to realtime, Primary Input is divided by Unit and each divided pan is processed for very short time than all the processed data are unified to whole data.

  • A mechanics model is developed in this paper for concrete-filled steel CHS (circular hollow section) beam-columns. A unified theory is described where a confinement factor (${\xi}$) is introduced to describe the composite action between the steel tube and the filled concrete. The predicted load versus deformation relationship is in good agreement with test results. The theoretical model was used to investigate the influence of important parameters that determine the ultimate strength of concrete-filled steel CHS beam-columns. The parametric and experimental studies provide information for the development of formulas for the calculation of the ultimate strength of the composite beam-columns. Comparisons are made with predicted beam-columns strengths using the existing codes, such as LRFD-AISC-1999, AIJ-1997, BS5400-1979 and EC4-1994.

  • This paper describes the design and implementation of PCOAMC(PC-based Open Architecture Machine Controller) to be flexible and independent from the vendor-oriented hardware and software structure. This openness approach is able to enhance an intelligence and integration of a manufacturing system. The development methodology of PcOAMC is an Object-Oriented approach, and all modules in PcOAMC are modelled using UML(Unified Modelling Language) that provides an easy understanding and modification. In order to demonstrate an applicability of PcOAMC, a simple test has been executed by using the Client-Server system consisting of two PcOAMCS and bus monitoring system. The good results have been obtained, so that the developed controller is expected to be embedded into IMS(Intelligent Manufacturing System) as a basic unit.

  • By managing various communication networks, we have Telecommunication Management Network(TMN) which has the aim of unified and effective communication network operation and maintenance. However, since TMN has been developed by different platforms in the implementation process, several problems have been found in the step of developing and maintaining the class of TMN system agent. In order to solve these problems, this paper suggests the component outsourcing concept which is based on Component Based Development.

  • 최근 사물인터넷에 대한 관심이 증가함에 따라 미래인터넷에 대한 연구가 증가하고 있다. 각기 다른 사물인터넷을 연결하기 위하여 다양한 네트워크 인프라가 필요하며, 사용자뿐만 아니라 다양한 네트워크 자원에서 요구하는 서비스나 콘텐츠 등이 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 이들을 식별하기 위한 통일된 식별 체계가 필요하다. 이를 위하여 미국에서는 NDN에 대한 연구가 진행 중이며, 이외에도 MobilityFirst, XIA와 같은 프로젝트성 연구들이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 기존의 연구들을 보완하고 새로운 미래인터넷에 확장 가능한 통합된 Name-Identifier-Locator 프레임워크를 제안한다.
