  • The Ubiquitous Healthcare business are growing recently by medical service development. According to this environment, many healthcare service model have been studying and suggested. At the same time, medical world market has been reorganized into a traditional medical science out of the west medical science. But in spite of this trend, domestic U-Healthcare market in traditional medical science is for lack of profit service model. So it is true that the presentation is demanded from oriental medicine U-Healthcare service model these days in oriental field. Thus, in this paper we propose the healthcare service model that can be applied to the oriental field efficiently. Our method is based on fuzzy rule method that analyze the patient data by CDSS processing. In experiment, proposed method is more profitable and efficient than west service model. For future works, we will research about the standardization and security of processed data.

  • Ubiquitous is a Latin-derived word meaning "to exist at any time and place" like water or air. In computing, the word "ubiquitous" indicates an environment in which users have access to networks without any limitation regarding computer networks or places. Important issues in building Ubiquitous Korea (U-Korea) are the social problems appearing with a rapid increase in the old age population. Nowadays, with the rise of the nuclear family, the increase in the number of elderly people living alone, and the change in the status of women, both wives and husbands are employed outside the home, and the relatives who would be responsible for supporting the elderly sometimes are on long or short business trips, and it happens that old people can't be looked after. Therefore the government developed a wireless paging system for the sick, disabled, old and weak so that when an emergency happens, by just simply dialing 119, an emergency aid center could take prompt action. However, the present wireless paging systems composing the under-layer of the emergency aid information system have some problems, such as, a lack of reliability, problems among terminals, mobile transmitters and receiving terminals, the users' refusal to admit the need for the system and poor operational skills, administrators' perfunctory management and checks, etc. On account of these problems, the system efficiency has degraded and therefore a system upgrade is necessary. In this paper, we attempt to evaluate the newly implemented SAFE119 system, a new wireless paging system seeking to correct the problems of the current system.

  • MDPDPTW (Multi-Depot Pickup and Delivery Problem with Time Windows) is a typical model among the optimization models based on the pickup and delivery flow in supply chains. It is based on multi-vehicles in multi-depots and does not consider moving vehicles near pickup and delivery locations. In ubiquitous environments, it is possible to obtain information on moving vehicles and their baggage. Providing the proper context from the perspective of moving vehicles and their baggage allows for more effective vehicle routings. This study proposes Integer Programming-based MDPDPTW including the information on moving vehicles and their baggage in a ubiquitous environment: u-MDPDPTW, and shows the viability and effectiveness of u-MDPDPTW through comparative experiments of MDPDPTW and u-MDPDPTW.

  • Social network services based on openness, connectedness, and mass participation are reshaping many aspects of how companies conduct business and create value for their customers. For instance, Facebook and Twitter are expected to play a pivotal role as a new communication channel through which companies-forge close relationships with their customers for co-creation of value for mutual benefits. Given the potential of social network services, it is not surprising that many companies have strategically invested in social network services to reach out to customers. Despite the growing interest in social network services as a platform to connect companies and their customers, few guidelines exist about how managers can effectively utilize social network services in forging relationships with their customers. As such, scholars should pay greater attention to how firms can successfully develop relationships with their customers on social network services. In particular, this study employs the S-O-R (stimulus-organism-response) framework as a theoretical lens to develop a research model that explains customers' participation in the value co-creation platform that companies opened on Twitter. According to the S-O-R framework, certain types of individuals' behaviors can be best understood based on a causal link from environmental stimulus to organism, and response. We apply the S-O-R framework to understand how ubiquitous connectivity (stimuli) can influence customers' experience (organism) with companies on Twitter, which in turn influence their participation behavior (response). Two steps have been undertaken to empirically test the research model. First, we conducted a content analysis of tweets written by customers who follow companies on Twitter. As a result, we found event/promotion participation, company support, and giving feedback as three specific types of customer participation behavior. Second, we conducted a web-based survey to test research hypotheses in the research model. Participations in the survey were solicited to customers who followed companies on Twitter. As a result, a total of 115 respondents have completed the survey. Data were analyzed using the partial least square (PLS) technique. The results of data analysis suggest that ubiquitous connectivity (stimuli) had strong positive effects on perceive usefulness, perceived enjoyment, and perceived intimacy (organism). Perceived intimacy showed positive effects on customer participation behavior (response), such as event participation, company support, and giving feedback. Perceived enjoyment was found to have strong positive effects on company support and giving feedback. On the other hand, perceived usefulness did not have significant impacts on the three types of customer participation behavior.

  • This paper is about wine quality classification with multilayer perceptron using the deep neural network. Wine complexity is an issue when predicting the quality. And the deep neural network is considered when using complex dataset. Wine Producers always aim high to get the highest possible quality. They are working on how to achieve the best results with minimum cost and efforts. Deep learning is the possible solution for them. It can help them to understand the pattern and predictions. Although there have been past researchers, which shows how artificial neural network or data mining can be used with different techniques, in this paper, rather not focusing on various techniques, we evaluate how a deep learning model predicts for the quality using two different activation functions. It will help wine producers to decide, how to lead their business with deep learning. Prediction performance could change tremendously with different models and techniques used. There are many factors, which, impact the quality of the wine. Therefore, it is a good idea to use best features for prediction. However, it could also be a good idea to test this dataset without separating these features. It means we use all features so that the system can consider all the feature. In the experiment, due to the limited data set and limited features provided, it was not possible for a system to choose the effective features.

  • As the global smartphones market is growing at a brisk pace, their associated mobile applications are becoming increasingly ubiquitous in our daily life. The growth of mobile application business is explosive. Like other digital contents businesses, illegal downloads of copyrighted mobile applications become major obstacle in the future of the industry. In spite of anti-piracy efforts, the phenomenon has been getting worse. It is necessary to change the focus of current deterrence policies and strategies. This study investigates the factors influencing smartphone applications piracy behavior. For better understanding of illegal behavior, a research model of potential determinants for the piracy behavior is developed and empirically tested via path analysis using structural equation modeling. Findings show that social factors, beliefs concerning benefits from piracy, self-efficacy, and habit have significant effects on attitude toward smartphone application piracy. The result also shows perceived risks and facilitating conditions were not significantly related to their attitude. Implications for research and practice are discussed.

  • As adopting ubiquitous technology into civil engineering, new city model is suggested called U-City. This paper proposes the framework of U-City management center to support effective services operation. The aims of the framework are to provide the development and operation environment for U-City services. Basically, these objectives are achieved by adopting the semantic web service technology to the framework. In this paper, OWL-S is mainly conducted to represent the description of U-City services. In addition, this paper insists that fine grained unit services are required to guarantee reusability, compatibility, and scalability of the services on U-City management center. The documentations conducted by OWL-S are provided as an example of service descriptions. At the last section, this paper also presents the architecture of U-City management center which enables automatic service discovery, selection, composition and interoperation.
